APN Settings For 7-11 SpeakOut Data Services

I have a factory-unlocked iPhone 4G. I use a prepay service in Canada with unlimited Internet usage. The CSP is 7-11 SpeakOut, a MVNO that operates on the Rogers network. Voice and data services work fine.
I am currently in USA. I have subscribed top a pre-pay service with data. I've replaced Canadian SIM with American SIM. American CSP is also 7-11 SpeakOut, however, in USA, SpeakOut works on the AT&T network. Voice service is working fine. Data is not. When attempting to connect to Internet, error messages advise that data services have not been activated (CSP does not offer data service) or that server cannot be reached. I have confirmed with SpeakOut USA that data service is active on my prepay service. The service bar shows the presence of 3G or (occasionally E for Edge service). iPhone shows SpeakOut as the network but it shows AT&T 9.0 as the carrier. SpeakOut customer service provided the following APN settings:
APN: wap.cingular
User Name: [email protected]
Password: CINGULAR1
Proxy Server: left blank
Port: left blank
These settings do not result in any data connection. I get the same error messages as before.
One point of clarification, a company called Ztar is actually the CSP. 7-11 is actually a sales distribution channel for Ztar's services in Canada and USA.
I suspect that the APN settings that I was given are incorrect and need to be changed. But to what???

I have an iPhone 4G so I'm not sure whether your iphone is set up the same way. I did not change the settings on the iPhone. There is an app on the Apple website that does this. It is called the iPhone Configuration Utility. Simply download the file, follow the utility installation process and then activate the utility. After having my iPad 3G switched on for a few days it frequently forgets the APN settings for Mobile Data and won't keep any input thereafter until restarted. Then it accepts the input and remembers it for a day or so until the "amnesia" reappears.

pvonk, you were right, something was amiss. It is just a shared calendar (me and my PA) and nothing I could do would seemingly connect the iCal and cloud accounts.
Late last night I upgraded from OSX 10.7.4 to 10.7.5, as I thought that might resolve some settings or minor corruptions in the way my Mac Book was working.
This morning I opened iCal, and once again it attempted to refresh the page. And a few seconds later my iCloud diary appeared on iCal.
The moral of this issue is I think as follows.... when you check all the settings and follow all the advice, and something like this is still not working then it could be the software is slightly corrupt, so a re-install or applying an update (if there is one available) will help resolve issues.

AT&T controls their settings. You'd have to ask them. From what I recall, they actually set them automatically to the device via the SIM, and they are not user adjustable. But I could be wrong in my recollection...but, again, only they (ATT) can say for sure since that is 100% in their control. Is there a reason you are reluctant to contact them for formal support on this question?

My brother used his Verizon Wireless SIM to activate my factory unlocked iphone 5s. Now, I can't access the cellular data network option to change APN settings for my new carrier. Already tried configuration utility and factory resets.

So as the title says, after I got my iPhone 5s from apple, factory unlocked, my brother used his sim card in it for a moment to allow it to be registered and usable on WIFI until I made it to Japan. Now that I have a data SIM card, I have to input specific APN settings, which are located in settings>cellular>cellular data network, however, cellular data network is not available as an option. I have reset the phone multiple times with and without backups and with and without the new sim in the phone. I have also used the configuration utility to try to put the APN settings in the phone. I contacted Apple and they didn't really have an answer as to what i should do. My brother checked his Verizon account and my phone does not show up as one of his devices, so right now I'm stuck with and incredibly expensive iPod. Does anyone have any idea what I can do to remedy this? I am unable to contact Verizon via telephone myself as I have no phone service. Any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated.

You only have to clone your mac when using certain cable modem. You don't clone your mac when using dsl.

Q10 APN settings for 2degrees in New Zealand

Hello I've just purchased a new Q10 and I've been able to get everything working fine on WiFi, however I've not been able to get the data to work when using my 2degrees (GSM.EDGE/3G-UMTS) carrier in New Zealand. I can make and recieve calls and txt but the data won't work for browsing or Activesync emails. My SIM card has a 1 GB data plan and used to work fine on my Windows 8 phone and previous Andriod handsets. I 've alos tried the usual APN settings = "internet" Any help would be appreciated.

Hi. Good question and to be honest I don't know the answer as I'm not a user of BBM. The only other suggestion I can make is to update to a later firmware leak. I'm currently running 10.2.1.176 on a Z10 and Q5 and Q10 which seems to work fine however I can't say I use BBM. I do know that when using a Vodafone NZ sim (prepay and on-account) that BBM does work. This may not help your 2degrees issue though.
Try a later version of firmware first and see how that goes. Make sure you do a full backup to a PC/laptop in the first instance.

Settings for Purchase Order output using services for MM-SUS scenario?

Dear Gurus,
I am configuring the service procurement classic and plan driven procurement for MM-SUS
environment. We are on SAP SRM 7.01/ECC 6 EHP5.
I need to maintain the below settings for PO output:
1. RUN transaction SWETYPV
2. IN the object types field, enter CL_SE_PUR_WF_OUT.
3. In the event field, enter CREATED.
4. In the receiver type field, enter WS53800008.
5. In the receiver function module field, enter SWW_WI_CREATE_VIA_EVENT_IBF.
6. Select the 'Linkage Activated' checkbox.
7. Save your entries.
Similarly, one more entry for the event CHANGED.
However, the system is not allowing me to save the settings.
If I choose BOR Object Type 'CL_SE_PUR_WF_OUT', it gives an error message 'Object type CL_SE_PUR_WF_OUT is not defined'.
If I choose object category 'Business class for object type CL_SE_PUR_WF_OUT, it gives an error message 'Class CL_SE_PUR_WF_OUT is not a business class.'
There are similar entries in the table SWETYPV for object type CL_SE_PUR_PO_WF_OUT' with object category CL.If we copy the entries and tries to replace the
object type 'CL_SE_PUR_PO_WF_OUT' with CL_SE_PUR_WF_OUT and save it, it gives an error message 'CL is not used for workflow event'.
Could you please help me on how to configure the settings for PO output from ECC system using services?
Any input is highly appreciated.

Delta data load for huge table in Data Services XI R3

We have a project requirement of pulling delta data once in a week from table which has around 44 million records but it doesn't have any last modified column.
In such case we have to use table comparison transform, but it will be very time consuming.
Please provide some suggestions to meet this requirement.
The source of DS job is a snapshot(the source table is in a remote database).

Because SAP Business Objects Data Services XI 3.x doesn't have any built-in delta-enablement mechanism with R3/ECC, the only possibility right now is to do a table compare. Given that this is only a weekly activity, while maybe time-consuming, it may be sufficient.
In the future, you may want to consider activating the related SAP BW standard content DataSource(s) to extract into Data Services prior to loading to the target repositories. This may provide delta-enablement for the data that you're extracting.

Does anyone know what APN settings iPhone 4S from KDDI in Japan uses? They seem to have 2 different data plans, Simple plan Z and Plan F, but the iOS version is locked and these details are not shown directly to enduser as in unlocked models.

Hi I an unlocked Huawei E586 fitted with an EE pay-as-you-go 30 day account 4G SIM with money loaded on it and activated. It gives me 72Mbps but I cannot access the internet no matter what.Now EE technical support realise I need to alter the APN settings. Also I need my E586 to provide internet access via this EE SIM to my notebook and laptop which run Windows 8 and Windows 7 respectively. How do I do all of this please? N.B. .bat or .sh file for executing jobs in data services

are there any command line utilities where i can import the .atl files and executes the jobs in data services
i was able to import the .atl files using 'al_engine' but not able to find the arguments to execute the jobs.
Here is my requiremen:
There would be 2 master scripts :
Master_Initial_Script.bat/.sh - This would have all the pre/post checks and would call the DS Initial Job
Master_Delta_Script.bat/.sh - This would have all the pre/post checks and would call the DS Delta Job
Pre-Checks for Delta Job -
If the initial job is not loaded then
Do not move further to execute the Delta job
else
Execute the Delta job
Post Checks for Delta Job:
Print the statement when the job starts successfully,
Checks the error/return code and prints Job success message in a log file

This looks more like scheduling the job with dependency.
Unfortunately, BODS scheduler doesnt support setting depedencies for running the jobs.
So, the best way to go forward is export the jobs to a batch files in a particular location.
Use the batch files with a external scheduling tool and set the dependency.
A scheduling tool such as Control M or Redwood chronacle scheduler should be able to execute the batch files.
Set the dependency in the scheduling tool accordingly.
