App created w/ JDev 11.1.1.3.0 and ADF runs in Firefox, but hangs in IE

This was accidentally posted here. How do I remove it?
We are absolute newbies to JDev and ADF. We are running on Windows XP v2002 SP3.
We re-created the demo app that Shay Shmeltzer gives entitled "The JDeveloper 11g Developer Experience". The app that we've created runs as expected in Firefox 3.3.6. When we try to run it in IE 7, it displays one record only and then hangs.
We have another error that may be related. When we first installed and fired it up, we did not get this. It's only happened since we did the demo. When JDev first comes up now, we are getting a message stating "An unexpected severe error occurred in JDeveloper". Not knowing what else to do, we have just clicked "continue". Perhaps we should do something else?

When the application gets stuck - is there any error reported in the Weblogic log window?
In your IE - do you have XMLHttpRequest enabled?

You have a 2G iPod and the can play/sync only SD videos.
If necessary use a converter app to convert to compatible format. I use the free HandBrake

From the App Store meny bar click Store > Check for Unfinished Downloads
And check your Applications folder for the app.

That works fine using the "Run another program first option". Alternatively, you can call all of your commands from a single batch file which is initiated in the program. Or you can have your PowerShell script call everything directly -- it is
a script after all. Or you can use the PowerShell Deployment Toolkit as suggestion by Jeff.
If you are simply calling a single PowerShell script, the command-line is the same that you would use anywhere:
PowerShell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -NoLogo -NoProfile -Command "English.ps1"
With the your Package containing English.ps1 of course.

I can't get firefox to open. Try creating another profile as suggested in another answer, and it says that firefox has crashed, how do I get firefox working?

I had to restore my computer to a previous restore point. When I tried opening firefox 4.0, nothing happened. Frustrated, I tried removing the program, but ran into the same problem: nothing happened. I went to Processes in Windows Task Manager, and firefox.exe was not running. Tried using the suggestions to create another profile, and entering the command into run brought up an error saying that firefox has crashed.

This is normal under iOS 7. The App Store app shows all apps you have updated and are displayed in an "updated" list. The apps will drop off of the list in a few weeks or so. If they show as being updated, then they have in fact been updated. They will remain in the "updated" list until they are dropped off after a time.

JDev 11.1.2.3.0 and ADF Hierarchy Viewer - Lazy Loading?

I have a simple application that shows data from one table using the Hierarchy Viewer component.
My table has more than 100,000 rows.
It appears that the control tries to query all data at once and never loads.
I have reduced the number of rows to 5K and it works.
So, is there a way that I can configure the control/application to only retrieve data from the database for a particular node, when a node is expanded?

I changed the Hierarchy Viewer's property called "Content Delivery" to lazy.
This is found in the Behavior section.
That appears to have resolved the issue.

The USER is SYSTEM and there is no real password when first installed. However you do need to type something in the password field . This can be anything if you have not added a password.

My app runs on 4S but not on 3GS on iOS5

I am running my app in debug mode with XCode 4.3.3 and it runs fine on an iPhone 4S running iOS 5.1.1. For what it's worth, it also runs fine under the simulator and on an iPad also running 5.1.1
If I try to run it on an iPhone 3GS with exactly the same iOS version, it crashes without anything helpful on the console. The 3GS phone has more memory than the 4S.
Any ideas on what is different between the models running the same iOS version which could be causing the problem?

I didn't see a crash log - sorry, I don't have the actual phone to hand now, it was borrowed from a friend for a quick test(!). The console messages are as pasted below. The first reference to my app is at 16:21:45 but then it says the app is reloaded? The TDKOnline messages at the end of the log are some debug texts which are output from th screen the app was one when it disappeared and they are the last lines in the console.

No Connection Type for the 10g app server in jdev 11?

how to i connect to a 10g app sever in jdev. there is no connect type for 10g which one if any should i use?

There is no direct connection to OAS 10g - note that ADF 11g applications can't be deployed to OAS 10g as they require Java EE 5.0 support.
You can create EAR/WAR files from JDeveloper and use Ant to deploy to OAS 10g or use the OAS 10g management console to deploy those files.

How are ePrint apps created and maintained?

Just bougt a new small HP printer for my home office and discovered ePrint and apps support. And amazed, did not expect this technology in entry level small/home office type printers.
And immediately new questions on what possibilities this opens up for printing applications
What is required to create new apps?
Is it possible to use this technology to add local office apps? I.e. to print site/office specific forms, trivial network interactions and maybe a bit more.
Is subscription type apps supported/allowed, where the app is only available as part of a third party subscription package?
A lot can be built around the email based ePrint service alone, but having ability to also do some simple interaction with the user at the printer would open for a wide range of new possible uses.

If it is longer available then you can't get the app on your phone.

You should have your stuff separate from your mom's. Delete all the apps downloaded or purchased with your mom's Apple ID and download or purchase them with your own Apple ID. Back up files and data first if possible.
