APP-FND-01931: Your session is no longer valid or your logon information...

Hello everyone,
I have an instance which was cloned successfully through Rapid clone and after finishing the clone we refreshed the database using the hot backup we have (RMAN). Database is successfully cloned and opened but we are unable to login to the application through the jsp login and only able to login through the forms login (dev60cgi/f60cgi).
Each time we try to login throught the jsp page we face this error message prior to launching the java applet:
==========================================================
APP-FND-01931: Your session is no longer valid or your logon information could not be reestablished from your session.
==========================================================
Does anuone know the reason behind this error message?
I searched the Metalink and I'm openeing a SR with Oracle but with no luck till now! :-(
thanks
Marwan

Marwan,
Better check with the DBA. It looks like some setup issue. Apache log will provide more details.

  • Your session is no longer valid. Log on again - no long time

    Hi guys, I´m working with a CRM upgrade, and working with the e-commerce solution, when I transfer an item to the cart  2 or 3 seconds later the app gives me an error message like this "Your session is no longer valid. Log on again." I do not have access to NWA because administrative issues and already ask for logs but it will take long time. Were I can search the possible reasons for a close session if I do not have access to logs ? It seems to me, to be a configuration problem with the server, maybe the url .

  • Error : Your session is no longer valid. Please login again.

    Hi partners,
    I am getting next error message when users want to get access to this cloned environment:
    <b>Error : Your session is no longer valid. Please login again.</b>
    I have test everything: "AOL TEST", "Regeneration of JAR files" and "Clearing the Apache Cache" and "Jcache in the client", but I am still not able to get access by Login Page.
    I am able to get access by Forms Launcher path: /dev60cgi/f60cgi.
    Has anybody had this problem before?
    Any help or advice will be really appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.
    Kind regards,
    Francisco Mtz.

    Hi Hussein,
    Thank you very much for reply, I really appreciate it.
    This customer has 11.5.9.
    - Your hostname does not contain an "underscore"
    <b>Both servers "Database" and "Application" don't have "underscores" in their names.</b>
    - Validate the value of SESSION_COOKIE_DOMAIN in ICX_PARAMETERS table
    <b>You know, I have verified this value and seems it has the value coming from the source "server", I will change it to this new domain name.</b>
    - You have no invalid objects (ICX_% packages)
    <b>There are not invalid objects for ICX schema.</b>
    I will test again, chaning SESSION_COOKIE_DOMAIN column.
    Thanks in advance.
    Kind regards my friend.

  • Your Web Intelligence Rich Client session is no longer valid. (RWI 00242)

    Hi,
    I am running a report via BOXI .net SDK but after exactly 20 minutes BoxiReportEngine.GetDocumentInformation returns the  following exception: "Your Web Intelligence Rich Client session is no longer valid. (Error: RWI 00242)"
    I have set my timout to 2 hours in my C# app with
                BoxiConnection.TimeOut = 120 * 60;
    before calling
                BoxiSession = new Session(BoxiConnection);
    I have set the ODBC used by the report to 600 minutes timeout. The report has no "max retrieval time". Why is this happening after 20 min? Where can I change this setting? My BOXI installation is: BOE XI 3.1 FP 2.7 Update 12.2.7.598
    BTW: I have not found any official documentation of RWI 00242.
    Thanks

  • Getting Because of inactivity your session is no longer active error

    Hi All,
    I am getting error - "Because of inactivity you session is no longer active. Click Ok to reload the page" even if the session is active in my webcenter spaces application. This is happening when I am clicking on the navigation links multiple times. On navigation links I am opening external application as a popup. I have configured external applications in my webcenter spaces application and I have not set shared credentials or public credentials, so user has to provide the username and password. I have observed some of the patterns when it is occuring :
    1. If I have not set the username and password in Accounts -> Preference for external application and if I press cancel on the login form of external application multiple times (3-4 times)
    2. Sometimes it is happening even if I open the external links in the different window also
    I searched and found that there is a CLIENT_STATE_MAX_TOKENS parameter to save the client state for back button behaviour and if the request for any token comes to restore the state on pressing back button and that token is not present then it throws the above error. In webcenter this token is set by default to 3. I tried increasing this but it didn't help. In my case even I am not pressing back button then why it's coming ?
    I have observed one more thing that on pressing cancel button on adf external app login page closes the popup and page navigates back to the login page.
    I have a clustered environment. Is this problem related to clustering ?
    Thanks,
    Sachin

    Hi Sachin,
    We faced same issue in Spaces in two nodes cluster. Are Spaces and UCM on same box? If yes, then the reason of the issue is "JSESSIONID cookies name from Spaces and UCM clash with each other". Change the cookie name in Spaces from the weblogic.xml file.

    recompile apps schema to check for invalid objects.
    regenerate forms and pll's.

  • Your Account is no longer synchronized with your device. Check that your account settings are correct. If they are correct, contact your email service provider.

    Hey everyone,
     I have a Blackberry Q10 with T-Mobile and have had the following error message appear over the weekend:
    Your Account is no longer synchronized with your device. Check that your account settings are correct. If they are correct, contact your email service provider.
    My Blackberry is trying to connect to Office 365 for its e-mail. I tried to remove the account, then re-add it, but the e-mails seem to not come in as quickly as it should. I have also tried the Delete Prior and Mark Prior message options, but still no luck.
    Does anyone have a solution for this issue? Does it have to do more with Office 365 or the BES server?
    Many thanks in advance.

    Have had issues with z10 but try the following: -turn wifi off when activating Active Sync -do not use a double quote character in your password email account -try using Outlook account option in drop down list of email account types in your z10. Works great. Hope one these helps. BlackZ10

  • Logical handle no longer valid

    I am getting the "logical handle no longer valid" SQLException when I reach the point in code marked by
    Object[] oaResults = (Object[])saResults.getArray();
    I can't explain this! I have talked to every Java developer I know without any answers. This code has been in implementation for the last whole year and has been working like a charm. All I changed recently was the Connection Pooling implementation to use Oracle's OracleConnectionCacheImpl class. I have my own FINAPPS_Connection wrapper around it. FINAPPS_Connection acts as a Singleton class.
    All the connection, execution and closure of statements is happening in one method. This method gets connection from the Connection Pool, instantiates FINAPPS_OracleCallableStatement which is a wrapper around OracleCallableStatement class, prepares the OracleCallableStatement, sets and register's parameters, executes the query and reads the results in the STRUCTs returned by the callable statement object. It is fine reading one of the STRUCT, then it breaks down the second struct that contains a String object and an Array object. I am able to read the String object but when it starts to read the Array object, it breaks down and gives me the "Logical handle no longer valid" error.
    Funny thing is, it doesn't happen all the time. It just happens randomly now and then. Sometimes it happens so often that a user can't do anything. In that case, I just try restarting the app server(JRun 3.0) which usually works!
    There is only ONE operation that I do per connection per statement. I only FETCH. I never update or commit or do anything. All I need to do is submit user query and return results to the screen. Thats it. I close the connection and statement object right after I am done with them. So there should be no reason for connection to hang around and I am using one connection for one transaction so there should be no confusion there either.
    Please help!!
    Janmeet.

    Logical handle no longer valid means your connection is stale. When using connection pooling it is sadly all too common to get handed out a connection from the pool that has actually timed out at the server side. If you look at eg the Jakarta Commons GenericDataSource they have a pingQuery property meant to support checking if a connection really is alive before handing it out, for this very reason.
    The oracle pool (last time I used it - a year ago) was pretty bad for this, and didnt provide any api help for marking connections as invalid, or telling the driver how to test for this condition. Its not the only problem with the oracle drivers, or the worst, but at least its easily avoided. Use another connection pool implementation like the jakarta one or tyrex.

    I login to the server at:
    http://black.testrac.com:7003/
    and navigate to:
    Farm_bifoundation_domain
    And I keep getting logged out, and the message:
    Weblogic/OBIEE:
    Because of inactivity, your session has timed out and is no longer active. Click OK to reload the page.
    What's aggravating, is that I can login, and immediately get the message!
    It is just me on this machine/environment.
    How can I configure the server so that:
    a: this does not happen at all, or
    b: the timeout happens only after 2 or 3 hours
    Thanks a lot!

    look for "emoms.properties" file
    For my env :
    /home/oracle/product/11g/user_projects/domains/base_domain/servers/AdminServer/tmp/_WL_user/em/hsz5x1/META-INF/emoms.properties
    oracle.sysman.eml.maxInactiveTime=< value >
    the VALUE is in MINUTES
    Restart Admin & SOA server.
    Thanks,
    Sandeep
