Apparently i already have 5 computers authorized. the other 4 are gone, 1 computer i still have and now i have a new one
how can i authorize a new computer when i already have 5 computers authorized. 4 of those computers are gone and i cant deauthorize them????

ok, so i bought a imac 27 about 4 months ago, and now they release a new one! ****... So my question is, should I sell this one (which by the way is the i5 2.8 with 1 gb 5750 and 4gb ram) and buy the new imac 27 i5,or keep the one i have and buy more ram. Please give me you thoughts on what I should do!! Thanks lot!The new iMac is about 25% or so faster than your current iMac(comparable model would be the 3.1ghz version). There are a couple of things that you will benefit from such as the dual Thunderbolt/Mini Display ports/ which may help with multitasking. The video card in the new iMac again the comparable model being the 3.1ghz is a lotttttttt better than the current one that you have. So thinking of the long run those few things may be beneficial for you to upgrade(but it depends on what is important to you).
I had the 2.93ghz i7 version that I just bought in March this year and I turned around and sold it about a week before the new iMac's were announced. I got about $1600 for it, yeah I took a loss but to me it was worth it because my new iMac performs that much better. Now keep in mind I went from i7 to i7...3.4ghz i7 with the 2gb video card. Now I have dual thuderbolt/mini display ports. I have noticed significant gains in my video editing and also in my gaming. So to me it was definitely worth the upgrade!
One last thing, I would not have sold my 2.93 i7 and then bought the 3.1ghz i5, the big reason is because HT(hyper threading), it's only on the i7 model(3.4ghz)... If you take a look at some of the bench marks on engadget, maclife, macrumors, macworld, ****Barefeats.com(they really get into benchmarking)*** you will see charts that will help you make a better decision.
In closing I would say look into it, if you can get a good price out of your current iMac to put toward a new iMac then do it. Like others have mentioned to you, tech changes and Apple will change the tech in these machines next year or do a speed bump later this year or so. One last thing if you go from the 2.8 i5 up to the 3.4 i7, you would definitely see the difference (HT is a must especially for programs that utilize it. You can go to my youtube channel(mob1278) and take a look at my geekbench results.... my 2.93 i7 scored around 10500-11000(8gb ram)...my 3.4 i7 scores from 12700-13000 with 4gb ram....so yeah as you can see big difference. Basically the 3.4 i7 would perform similar or just under a 2.4ghz 8core 2010 Mac Pro which runs you about $3500 with no monitor.... it's your money spend it how you want....and Lion is only going to push it even more when it is released! -
I can't figure out how to get my music back onto a new iTunes from my iPhone. I had to replace my iTunes after an update to my operating system on my MacBook Pro was reversed (found Mountain Lion to be incompatible with many existing programs and couldn't use it). I had alraedy manually loaded about a 1,000 songs from my CD's and now no matter what I've tried I can't get them back onto my new iTunes! How can I fix this without re-loading all of these songs?

Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases which can be transferred to a computer.

If you are asking how to authorise your iTunes account on that computer, then you do so via the Store drop-down menu at the top of iTunes (pressing Alt-S should get the Store menu to appear) - this screenshot is from a Mac, but it should be fairly similar on windows 8 :

How can I get my my apple services up and running again. Why all my other devices are not being able to use iMessage and Facetime where I just erased one of the apple device associated with my apple id. it has already been 24 hours since y services are down.

One of my ex-colleagues has installed a NI-DAQ 6.5 in our system. [And I do not see any other naitional instruments card in the CPU of the computer, may be he removed it] I deleted the account and all his files in the system. When I am trying to install version8.0, its not getting installed and giving me a message that I should uninstall the previous version by going to Add/Remove programs in the control panel.
I tried doing that, but the "Change/Remove" button does not seem to work...[There is no response and so unable to install the new version...]
Any idea how can this problem be solved?
It is a windowsXP operating system with SP2 installed on a machine with P4 processor.

Burned CDs will not sync to my ipod. I just replaced my computer with a different computer, unauathorizeed all previous computers, authorized the one i am now using, but only purchase content will transfer to my ipod.

I have Adobe Photoshop CS5 installed in two computers. The hard drive of my home computer crashed and I had no time to deactivate the software. The hard drive needed to be formatted. How can I activate the software CS5 again ? Thank you for an answer.
If it's the same computer, same CPU and same HD, no de-activation or re-activation should be necessary.
Install from scratch and apply all updates manually.
Please do a forum search. I and others have repeatedly answered the question about failed updates of CS5 a whole bunch of times recently.
Bottom line: the Adobe auto updater is utterly useless in CS5 and prior versions. You need to download the updates and apply them manually yourself.

Have OS 10.7.5. Computer off three days and now message comes that Time Machine could not complete backup because the "/volumes/PH's timecapsulPro.sparsebundle" is already in use. Whats that about?
Two Solutions for "sparse bundle already in use" Error
Simple solution (from Bob Timmons):
1. Make sure that no other Macs are backing up the Time Capsule at the time
2. Pull the power cord from the back of the Time Capsule
3. Count to ten
4. Plug the power cord back into the back of the Time Capsule
If Simple doesn't work:
The Backup disk image ... sparsebundle ... is already in use. -

It's not currently possible to merge accounts, nor to transfer content from one account to another account - content will remain tied to the account that downloaded it. You should be able to log into the account and change its primary email address (to an address which is not currently on another account) : http://appleid.apple.com

How can two people edit the same FCPX file? One company, so both people/computers share the same license. Example: I work on revision A and my boss takes it and makes revision B and gives it back to me using two separate computers.
Have the project, events and media on one drive which is common to both macs.
You can download FCP X to both macs using the same Apple ID that it was purchased with.

I have 4 Apple TV's. All set up to Home share. One will not see the computer. It is also the only 720 I have. The other three are 1080's. How do I get the 4th one (the720) to recognize my Mac?
Need more information to help you, but I am providing some suggestions. Sorry if you are past these type of basic things. But didnt really have much to start with and understand your technical level to start with.
Have you got into Settings > Computers > Turned on Home Sharing (Note: You must use the some Apple ID used by the iTunes library on your MAC for them to see one another)
How is your MAC connected to the network vs the 720 ATV2? Is one WiFi and the other Ethernet? Have you tried switching the ATV2 to WiFi if Ethernet?
Has the MAC been restarted since this started happening? Same with your Router and any other networking device being used? Sometimes an IP conflict can arise in your networking and most consumer networking equipment does not know how to "self heal" without a reboot.
Make sure you have given those things a whirl and share back your results. Any other information you can provide, such as how you connect to your network from each ATV and MAC.
