Appearance of items in a List Box

I'm working on a document in XI Pro and have a list box with 14 items. When the user chooses multiple items from that box, I'd like the unchosen items to 'disappear'. Is this possible? If so, what would I need to do? Note: users would be using Reader (not Pro).

PARAMETERS: p_matnr TYPE matnr OBLIGATORY AS LISTBOX VISIBLE LENGTH 20 .

Removing Items from Populated List-Box

I have a drop down box populate a list box. (change: ListBox1.addItem(xfa.event.newText)) But I can add more then one of the same selection so how do I remove them from the ListBox. Upon click? somehow? I don't konw the lingo.

There is a selectedIndex property that will give you back the index of the 1st item that is selected.

1)i have a data externally and i have to call it by using web service example data is in xml?
2)after calling the xml i have to bind it to list box control in flex , the data will be images and text in side of xml file?
3)now i have to use item renderers to disply data in list box control , in 3coloumns
first coloumn will be image <space>data and second column also image <space>data , third column also image<space> data

Display selected items in dynamic list box

I need to display the selected items in a dynamic list box -
this worked great - but now client wants multiple selected. I do
have the items comma delimited in single field (but I can change
that if I need to) - so how do I make those items display as
selected in list. I'm using asp and standard dreamweaver list based
on a recordset.

There is a better approach. I faced a similar problem and put all the logic in a Javascript function. I modified my code to suit your needs.
My HTML will have the following.

Reflecting the items of second list box based on the chosen item of first list box

i would like to have let's say 2 list boxes in parameter form...say P_EMP AND P_DEPT as the sources...the P_DEPT is on top of P_EMP...SO when i choose a DEPT NO FROM P_DEPT ..THEN respective P_EMP will be displayed...how can i do ?
i was told that so far in Report Builder is not able to achieve that..
so i think of designing the parameter form by myself using PL/SQL. But now the problem is how to call the report builder procedure and vice versa ? how to pass parameter to and from report builder to my own-built parameter form using PL/SQL ?

Design a form wich must replace the parameter form of the report.
The form can contain different fields for filtering data,fields for type of the report,orientation,destination,etc..
After the user select the desired fields and press the execute report button you can call a report stored procedure and build a parameter list for calling RUN_PRODUCT.

Selecting Items From a List Box No Longer Works in Powershell Version 3.0

I've noticed that the script in
this powershell tip of the week no longer seems to fully work in Powershell V3. The selection dialog will pop up as expected, with all of the elments populated, but the selection is not stored in variable '$x'. Any idea what changed and how to get it to

What do you mean by "on the execution of the last item in the list box"? Do you mean when that last item of a ListBox is selected? If so, you could use the following code:

List box is not scrolling to the last item

Hello all,
I am developing a Windows Phone 8 application, in that I am using List box to display the data. I have requirement like once the page is launched user should navigate to the last item of the list box. For this requirement used scroolintoview method like LsbSample.ScrollIntoView(LsbSample.LastOrDefault).
It is moving to the last item but not fully. It is showing last item around 60% but for remaining 40% I need to manually scroll the list box.
Can any one help me to resolve this issue.

It's likely a small bug. Can you try scrolling to the bottom of the scrollviewer's height instead?

Limit of no. of items shown in ABAP List-box?

I am doing a development and I came across this limitations of the no. of items in a list box. Is it limited to a single digit..? Cause when i use call function 'VRM_SET_VALUES', the value returned in the field is the KEY, which is only 1 digit in my case. I have over 100 entries to be displayed in the list box. Can anyone tell me how to increase the no. of digits which get returned by the FM 'VRM_SET_VALUES'?

Show us the code that you use to build the VRM table please.
I'm simply not understanding your problem. VRM table has 2 fields, key and text. Text is what is displayed and key is what is
returned from the user selecting one item on the list. Only one value is returned. There is not multiple selection options.

Concerning the screen by web-dynpro, I have a problem that when I select one listbox after selecting another listbox, the screen moves up to the top automatically.
I would like to prevent from above moving.

there are two events which have been used, one is doubleclick event and the other one is on selecting the item from the list and clicking on OK button(this will be the most frequently used function, i cannot use event target event for this OK button... ) . I have attached the screen shot. Please have a look at it and let me know how can i achieve that...
I can use custom event, but the main problem is that the inline itemeditor's details are not accessible in the code.... I can access some function from within the inline itemeditor combo box using outerDocument.myFunction() (this is something like GET). Is there a similar way, to SET the data into this itemeditor?

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to pre-select some items in the Multiple-Selection List Box.
I recommend to follow the steps below to achieve this goal:
Click Default Values under Data tab in InfoPath, expand the dataFields and navigate to the Multiple-Selection List Box field.
Set the Default Value of the Multiple-Selection List Box field.
Right click the field under the Multiple-Selection List Box group, then select Add another Value Below and set the Default Value for this field.
Repeat step3 based on the number of the items that you want to be pre-selected.

Reordering list box items.

This question was asked by someone else before but there was no answer so I will ask it again:
I've implemented a WidgetListBoxWidgetN widget in a dialog and am trying to make it reorderable by the user dragging list items around in the list box. I figured that all I would need to do was set the 'list items can be reordered' flag in the resource definition for the list box and I would be all set. However, when I attempt to drag an item in the list box, the mouse pointer turns into an icon indicating that the item drag is not allowed.
I've looked through the user interface tutorial, the user interface guide, the html guide and this forum. I haven't been able to find anything that can point me in the right direction. What am I missing here?

From the comment for the listbox setting "List items can be reordered" I assumed that setting this to kTrue would be all that is required. It is all internal to the widget so I didn't see why I should need to get involved.

How to set a default value for a drop down list box and then apply cascading based on the default value in Infopath 2010.

I have two drop downs. Both are coming from look up fields from two lists. i want to set a default value(first list item) for the first drop down list box and then apply cascading based on the default value for the next drop down list box. where in i can set a default value but i can't apply cascading based on that default value. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.
