Append line to clipboard?

Hi --
Are there any functions or gymnastics that
provide the ability to, maybe,
clear_clipboard();
append_line_to_clipboard(myline VARCHAR2(8));
I would like to do this inside a loop, such
that for every cursor row I fetch I can
append it to the clipboard. From within
Forms, is this a candidate requirement for
seeking a 3rd party ActiveX control?
Thanks!
null

I have a similar requirement.
Is there a way of writing data to the Windows Clipboard as unformatted text or in csv format from within a form (version 6.0.8.11.3) ?

  • How to append lines to an Open Hub File

    Hi Colleagues,
    I have to write data to an open hub destination file.
    Normaly file overwrite mode is used.
    But I need to append lines from multiple DTPs to one single file.
    So far, Open Hub Destination allows to add multiple DTPs, but how to configure BI, that all lines of every DTP are appanded to the file, and not only the last DTP wins.
    Thanks and Regards,

  • Dynamic Programming - RTTC - Appending lines

    I give up! Maybe someone else can help me with this Dynamic Programming problem.
    I am using RTTC to create an itab. Now I want to append lines and for some reason can't seem to crack the syntax I need.
    My latest attempt looks like this...
                FIELD-SYMBOLS: <table> TYPE ANY TABLE,
                               <row> TYPE ANY.
                lo_sdescr      = cl_abap_structdescr=>create( lt_components ).
                lo_tdescr      = cl_abap_tabledescr=>create( lo_sdescr ).
                CREATE DATA lr_alloc->alloc_table TYPE HANDLE lo_tdescr.
                CREATE DATA lr_struct TYPE HANDLE lo_rdescr.
                ASSIGN lr_alloc->alloc_table->* TO <table>.
                APPEND INITIAL LINE TO <table> ASSIGNING <row>.
    The syntax check I get on the APPEND statement is "You cannot use explicit or implicit index operations on tables with type "ANY TABLE".
    All the doco and examples I can find use a simple "SELECT * ... INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE <table>" syntax which it not what I need to do.
    Any help it appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hello Graham

  • WD: Paste multiple lines (from clipboard) in a table ?

    Hi is it possible ?
    I would like to paste one or more lines to a table from the clipboard.... new lines should be added automatically to the wd table.
    many thanks for your help !

    Yes, but SE16N is SAPGUI based. From the SAPGUI you are running a true desktop application and can of course do mass cut and paste.  From Web Dynpro, you are generally running in the browser and therefore are sandboxed. Cut and paste of this type is simply not feasible in the way the browser and the HTML work for the table.
    Such data entry will be possible in the future for Web Dynpros running in the NetWeaver Business Client with the Smart Client rendering turned on.  In that case you are no longer running your WDA in a browser, but truely as a desktop application.

  • TCL ios-xr append line to prefix-set

    Hello
    I start my learning of eem and tcl scripting, i have project - write script:
    1. i plan to monitor interface load
    2. if interfaces overloaded - edit prefix-set configuration
    3. execute script while interface load drops lower specific level
    So right now I am stuck with editing prefix-set at IOS-XR
    Is there some way to do not overwrite prefix-set, but just add some prefix to the end of the list with TCL? Can you please provide some template please?

    I don't have a definitive answer to your question because I'm not as familiar with the XR CLI.  However, I can give you some insight into how EEM works and perhaps that will help you answer your own question.
    EEM doesn't have any deep API access to the device.  All it does is automate CLI (and SNMP) in a very similar manner to how you would do it manually.  So, if there is a command you can run manually on your router, then EEM can automate it.
    So, can you manually insert into a prefix-set using the CLI?  If so, what is the exact CLI syntax, and I can help you programmatically build it with Tcl.

  • Append a line to a dynamic table in a dynamic structure

    Hello,
    i've created a dynamic structure <ls_itab> TYPE ANY.
    This structure contains a deep structure name 'CELLSTYLES' of type lvc_t_styl.
    Now i want to add a line to the deep structure CELLSTYLES.
    I'll tried something like this:
    data: <ld_fld>    TYPE ANY,
            <ls_itab>  TYPE ANY.
    ASSIGN COMPONENT 'CELLSTYLES' OF STRUCTURE <ls_itab> TO <ld_fld>.
    But i can't append line to <ld_fld> because it's no internaltable.
    Please help.
    Best regards,
    TomSd

    Hi Thomas,
    Put this code at declaration.
    FIELD-SYMBOLS: <L_TABLE> TYPE STANDARD TABLE.
    Here Append will not work; after the code you have written use.
    INSERT  <ls_itab>  INTO TABLE <L_TABLE>.
    Hope it will solve ur problem.
    Regards

  • Create new line item while saving a new order

    I have a requirement to create a new line item with different item category while creating an order.
    i.e
    if the item category is ICT1, then create a new line item like item 1 but with item category ICT2.
    Also in the conditions tab, we need to update the condition type with  different values for both existing and new item.
    All this has to be in VA01 i.e on save.
    I tried to append lines of structure XVBAP at SAVE_DOCUMENT _PREPARE by changing the item no and item caegory. This works fine. But, how can I get other table details like XKOMV(which stores pricing condition details) for the new item?
    Please can you suggest any other exit/subroutine for this?
    or any other alternative solutions

    Try to use this EXIT:

  • How to write to a file with \n (new line)???

    Hi there,
    I have the following method that reads a file's content and convert it into a string:
         public static String getFileContent(String fileName) throws IOException
              File file = new File(fileName);
              FileInputStream fileInputStream = new FileInputStream(file);
              BufferedReader bufferedReader = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(fileInputStream));
              StringBuffer stringBuffer = new StringBuffer();
              String line;
              while ( (line=bufferedReader.readLine()) != null )
                   stringBuffer.append(line+"\n");
              return stringBuffer.toString();
         }I'm trying to write a method that writes a String to a file WITH THE NEW LINE. All classes I used (DataOutputStream, FileWriter, PrintStream...) do not force a new line (I get everything in one line)
    I thought maybe I should change the "\n" in the line
    stringBuffer.append(line+"\n"); but...didn't know what.
    thanks for any advise

    BufferedReader readLine remove the newline sequence. But you're putting \n back which should do what you appear to want.
    However newline sequence isn't always just \n, on unix systems it's \n, on windows its \r\n (reads "carriage-return, linefeed"). Sytem.getProperty("line.separator"); will get you the appropriate end of line string.
