Appfuse(jsf) project in jdevelop1013,error in login.xml (xml-20100)

hi,
i now study the appfuse(jsf) example,and view it in jdevelop1013 ide.
but when compile the login.jsp,it makes a error.
Error occurs in login.xml,and says "final error,xml-20100"
when i run in tomcat5.0 with eclipse,non error occurs.
why?and how to solve?

I've a small deployment issue which you guys might be able to help me with.
I've developed an ADF BC JSF project using JHeadstart 10.1.3.2.50 and it was running fine on my self contained OC4J instance. But when I try to deploy it across to my Oracle 10G AS version 10.1.2.0.2., it had the following errors:

Has anyone been able to deploy ADF JSF project with JHeadstart using JDeveloper 10.1.3.3.0 to Oracle 10G AS 10.1.2.0.2? I'm using window environment. Any feedback is much appreciated. Thank you for your assistance and have a nice day.

I had also tried out something else...
I am now portalizing the ADF application using PortalFacesBridge and portlet.xml. Then I deploy it on the Local OC4J of my system and expose it as a WSRP Portlet using the url: 'http://hostname:portname/warFileName/info and generating a WSDL URL...
I am then using this WSDL URL to regester this portalized application on the Oracle Portal10.1.4 which i am able to accomplish successfully...
However after regestration, when I try to view this on the portal page, It is throwing the following error:-
Error: Could not get markup. The cookie or session is invalid or there is a runtime exception.
Also I would like to add that this method was working perfectly fine previously...
What might be the clue for this sudden error...
Any kind of help is greatly appriciated... Thanks...

Slow start-up for JSF projects on Sun Java System Application Server 8.2?

App. Server: Sun Java System Application Server 8.2
I really don't understand why a JSF project starts-up so slow on Sun Java System Application Server 8.2.
I've gone through the "Overview of Sun Java System Application Server Performance" guide and tuned my server.
It's not memory or processor, I am developing on a SunOS 5.8 Generic_117350-27 sun4u sparc SUNW,UltraAX-MP.
The JSF project contains one index.jsp and one login.faces - that's it. But it takes up towards 15 seconds to load the page, if I type:
http://<domain>:8080/login/
I would believe that the application should be a lot faster.
What can I do to solve this?

How to link the messages.properties to a jsf project?

Hi,
I have a messages.properties in a package mypackage under the jsf project src folder.
In faces-config I added the messages bundle. In the jsp page I have the following line:
<f:loadBundle basename="mypackage.messages" var="msg" />
but eclipse complains that it cannot find the resource bundle in the classpath.

My messages bundle just has static text.Then get rid of the definition in faces-config. It is meant to override default JSF validation/conversion/etc error messages. If you don't have anything overridden in your bundle, it will only add unnecessary overhead in looking up the messages. Your bundle is to be defined in f:loadBundle. Nothing more needs to be done.

Cannot deploy SJSC jsf projects on weblogic 8.1 SP3

I rencently downloaded sjsc and now I'm tyring to deploy a sjsc / jsf project to weblogic 8.1 sp3, and keep getting this error:

Are you creating a war file in Creator and trying to deploy on Weblogic 8.1 ? In that case you need to rename the warfile before deploying on to Weblogic. For Eg: if you export war file (myapp.war) from creator then rename it to myappa.war.

JSF project migration issue in jdeveloper R1

Dear Experts,
We are trying to migrate an existing JSF project into JDeveloper 11g R1. We are having some compilation errors which we are trying to resolve.
The doubt we have is that out project used jsf-api.jar and jsf-impl.jar however when I select JSF library in JDeveloper it uses some glassfish jsf jars. Is that the reason for the issues?
Please share your valuable inputs.

Some of the methods that were used from JSF jars used are not available in glassfish jars.
For e.g. com.sun.faces.util.Util.getValueBinding is not available.
Need your expert advice should we continue fixing the issues and use the jars available by default or is it better to use the jsf jars. However, in case we upgrade the jsf version we may face certain issues and we are aware of the scenario.

Error while login to UCM console.

I am getting below error while login with 'weblogic' in UCM 11g console "http://server IP: 16200/cs"
"Content Server Request Failed
Unable to load the user information. Possible database connection failure encountered. Error message: (!csDbUnableToCreateResultSet,Quser(SELECT * FROM Users WHERE LOWER(dName) = LOWER('weblogic'))!$Closed Connection). java.sql.SQLException: Closed Connection. "
Because of this we are not getting any content on our custom application pages, that we have integrated through placeholder (using site studio for external application).
Please help!!

As Yannick mentioned it looks like that the DB is shutdown or the listener is not up and running .
Check and verify that all is fine with DB end and then see if the issue still persists . Better would be do a full restart for DB to kill and clean all the existing connections for UCM from DB .

Error -2125
OK Error code - 2125 usually indicates that the movie is to large.
It use to pop up when going to iDVD !
iDVD - DO NOT CARE ABOUT Gbs at all. I got movies on 500Mb that do not fit and 50Gb that fits nicely.
iDVD - ONLY CARES ABOUT - Duration. Duration is Movie time + MENU TIME. Choice of
menu and animation of this can take lost of "DURATION" 15 minutes or even more.
Choice of encoding method and use of SL or DL DVDs determine the DVD limit.
iDVD 08 & 09 & 11 has three levels of qualities.
iDVD 6 has the two last ones
• Professional Quality (movies + menus up to 120 min.) - BEST
• Best Performances (movies + menus less than 60 min.) - High quality on final DVD
• High Quality (in iDVD08 or 09) / Best Quality (in iDVD6) (movies + menus up to 120 min.) - slightly lower quality than above
DL DVDs can store about double of these times.
ALTERNATIVE - The Error Code can indicate that free space on Start-up (BOOT) hard disk is
less than 25Gb (my minimum)

If you are getting OSStatus error -2125, I've seen this caused by the computer display sleep settings.
Try changing the sleep settings to never and see if you are able to export.

I keep getting the following error message while sharing my iMovie to iDVD. "Unable to prepare project for publishing" error (-2125). I'm running iMovie 09 v. 8.0.6 on a iMac with OSX v 10.6.8, 2Ghz core duo, 1GB 667 Mhz DDR2 SDRAM. Any ideas why?

That particular error comes up for a number of reasons, sometimes it's the size of the movie you're trying to export. Bengt Wärleby a longtime contributor to the iMovie Discussion Group has advised a number of people on this error code, so I am going to link to his latest advice he's given to anyone trying to export to DVD from iMovie: Bengt's tips for great DVDs.
Specifically, try bypassing Share to iDVD by using Share to Media Browser instead.
In the Share to Media Browser dialog box choose the Large Size.
When(If?) it gets through that process, quit iMovie altogehter then go to iDVD.
Create a new project and click on the Media button near the lower right hand side of the Project Window.
Then click the Movies button in the Browser window just above that.
Under the iMovie star icon you should see the name of the project you shared out from iMovie.
Drag that into the project and burn the DVD.
If it's still to large or you get the same -2125 error code trying to Share using the Medium size instead. But again if you really get stuck consult Bengt Warleby's User tips:

IMovie '09 "Unable to Prepare Project for Publishing" error (-2009)

Please help ! I have just created a small movie in iMovie '09 from imported clips from Sony Handycam with miniDV tapes. All clips imported easily and can be viewed and edited. Though when I try to share the project to iTunes or even export it to my desktop I get the message "Unable to prepare the project for publishing" error (-2009).
I have been searching the forum and the web for an answer or quick fix and I see none, though i do see that many people are having this same issue. I already have all permission set to read & write on all the appropriate folders. I don't know what else to do.....I was hoping to have this project done for a Christmas present for my wife.

I think I know what was the problem in my case. My project-file wasn´t very large, but I imported all my movies in one single event. After splitting the movies up into different events, I was able to export my project....

I have a Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise x64 SP2 cluster which has 2 SQL Server 2008 R2 Enterprise Edition x64 SP2
instances.
A domain account "Domain\Login" is administrator on both physcial nodes and "sysadmin" on both SQL Server instances.
Currently both instances are running on same node.
While logging on to SQL Server instance 2 thru "Domain\Login" using "IP2,port2", I get error 18452 "Login failed. The login is from an untrusted domain and cannot be used with Windows authentication". This happened in the past
as well but issue resolved post insatllation of SQL Server 2008R2 SP2. This has re-occurred now. But it connects using 'SQLVirtual2\Instance2' without issue.
Same login with same rights is able to access Instance 1 on both 'SQLVirtual1\Instance1' and "IP1,port1" without any issue.
Please help resolve the issue.

I Confirm that I encountred the same problem when the first domain controller was dow !!
During a restarting of the first domain controller, i tried to failover my SQL Server instance to a second node, after that I will be able to authenticate SQL Server Login but Windows Login returns Error 18452 !
When the firts DC restart finishied restarting every thing was Ok !
The Question here : Why the cluster instance does'nt used the second DC ???

We have couple of MSAD users in a native group which has admin rights to Essbase server as well as Shared Services in 11.1.2.1. Can login to EAS but when we expand the Essbase servers we get "Error 1051293: Login fails due to invalid login credentials". However, provisioning the ID's individually is working.
Tried both "Use single sign-on" as well as typing the ID & password separately.
Any pointers will help!

Receiving error message "Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM'" every minute on server which is the mirror

I have 2 SQL Server 2008 R2 machines that are configured with database mirroring (using certificates as authentication), there is no witness configured. My issue is that the mirror server is receiving at least one of the below pared messages every
second and filling up my sql error log quickly.
SYSTEM is the service account user for the MSSQLSERVER service.
[298] SQLServer Error: 4060, Cannot open database "<databasename>" requested by the login. The login failed. [SQLSTATE 42000]
[298] SQLServer Error: 18456, Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM'. [SQLSTATE 28000]
The database has a status of: Affected database state is: Mirror, Synchronized/Restoring...
When I checking the database mirror monitor, it shows that its mirroring ok and everything has green checkboxes.
Is there a way to stop all these errors being logged, I'm assuming this isn't normal.

Yes i have faced the same issues and tried everything and nothing was using this account, system was ended up with creating few GB's sql error log files everday.. and finally i had two options, 1 -- Rebuild the instance completely 2. Change the SQL Server
Audit settings to Only successful logins and restart the instance.. ( May be your current sql server level Audit setting is set to Failed & Successful logins..
Remeber my server was a DR so I have changed the SQL Server Audit settings to only Successful logins.. but production servers we will monitor both... :)
