Apple credit card

can i use my newly approved apple credit card for an app? i dont have a physical card yet!

To use a card you need the (usually) 16 digit account number on the front and the 3 digit security code from the back.

  • Apple credit card charges???

Alright so I'm freaked out. This morning I signed up for an apple id and put in my debit card info. I then saw that I had a $1.00 pending fee on my card. I looked it up a bit an saw that many people had been hacked and a $1 fee was where it started. I immediately changed my password and switched my payment info to 'none'. I then read more and saw that the $1 fee was just standard and it would go away within a day. I calmed down and tried to put my debit card info again only to say it was 'denied'. Yet, I was charged AGAIN the $1 pending fee. I am now currently at none for my payment info again and am angry. What do I do? Will the fees just go away?

If these are authorization charges, of course they will go away. But you may have created too many suspicious changes in too short a time, and got flagged for it.
Check with iTS to see what's up.

  • What I need to do to apply for a apple credit card

I want an apple Mac Pro with a retina display

Contact Apple.  We are just users of Apple product here, not Apple employees.
    Ciao.

  • Apple Credit

I don't know if anyone else has had this experience but here is mine. By the way, I have tried repeatedly to contact Apple about this with no luck whatsoever. Beware! And, if you are Apple, please contact me, I've tried to contact you and am getting sick and tired of the run around.
I purchased a MacBook Pro in January using a new Apple Credit Card from Juniper Bank. Beginning about two months back the time between receipt of the statement and the due date started to decrease. This month, the statement arrived last Monday, July 17, and I got it after work. It is due July 23, which is a Sunday, so they have to receive it by Friday, July 21. This means I had four days to examine the bill for errors and send it clear across the country, from Oregon to Pennsylvania. The Post Office said the only way they can guarrantee this is if I send it Express Mail ($14.40). Now, since the same thing happened last month (but...I had 7 days last month), too, I am starting to see a pattern. I copied the statement and and wrote Juniper a nasty note about this, but I am trying to get in contact with Apple to see if their new policy is alienating school teachers evaluating their computers or if there is some sort of new contest going on whereby Apple is now competing with Dell for worst customer service.

I don't know how this was answered in the other forum discussion but it sounds like your issue is with Juniper.
I actually bought my iMac through them because they offered 90 days same as cash and I needed to sell my PowerMac in the meantime so it worked out great. I payed it off within a few months so I can't comment of how they handle long term payoffs but I've charged a few other things on it from time to time. I haven't noticed in decrease in processing etc.
Heck I pay online and pay it way before I even receive a hard copy of the monthly statement. I pay everything online. I can't even remember the last time I wrote a check.

  • Why do you need to put credit card details in to the app store when you may want to simply obtain free items in the beginning?

Apple clearly is a leader and thankfully are bringing fantastic products and initiatives to the market.
I certainly hope that the company doesn't get arrogant like it seems to do when forcing people trying to get free apps to put in credit card details.
I suspect it wouldn't be too much work to allow users to try it out first by using some free apps and when they are personally ready they can purchase to their little hearts desire.
Poor showing from this perspecitive and easy to fix.

Never put your credit card info into iTunes as Apple credit card security is horrible.  There are many cases of credit card problems with Apple. My credit card was compromised 2 weeks after creating an Apple account. That was the ONLY online usage of my credit card.
Apple does NOT follow PCI compliance which is the credit card industry standards for credit card data protection.  It requires all companies to NOT store credit card information online because (surprise, surprise Apple!) it can be hacked.
Why does Apple need to store the credit card data and put the information at risk and why do they not follow industry (PCI Compliance) guidelines - especially for free aps or updates?

HELP PLEASE. Thanks Richrd

The only people who can possibly assist you with this is Apple Customer Relations, call your local Apple contact number and ask for Customer Relations then explain your situation clearly and politely (be firm but don't rant).
You might want to investiage what the local laws are regarding defective goods and 'fit for use' definitions on warranties etc. Consumer Protection can be a useful tool to use or bargain with if needed ...

  • How to remove credit card from Apple iCloud account

I cannot seem to remove my credit card info and it's not one of in good use anymore. But every time I try to install an app it redirects me to login page for payment info page with a "billing" problem due to old credit card on there.

    Hey Slant121,
Thanks for the question. I understand you are experiencing issues with the payment information on your account. You should have the option of “None”, however if you do not have this option, please see the following article:
Why can’t I select None when I edit my payment information?

i don't want to use apple id with credit card anymore i purchased enough apps for my apple device so now i wanna remove it so how can i remove credit card from apple id

On your computer's iTunes you should be able to edit your payment info by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into your account, and on your account's details page there should be a payment link.  If you are doing it on your iPhone then tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account  - that should also give you a payments link on your account's page.

If you don't get the 'none' option on the payment details screen : http://support.apple.com/en-gb/TS5366

  • I lived in the US for a few years, spent a fortune on iTunes [my then local Apple ID account].  Now I live in South Africa and want to use Match.  I have a local credit card but how do I use my new / 2nd Apple ID and gain access to all my US music??

You have to be in a country to use its store - you will need to be in the US and have a US billing address on your account to be able to use the US store (that applies to buying and redownloading).
You can use iTunes Match in South Africa, do you not have a backup copy of all of your US iTunes purchases so that you can subscribe to it and upload those that aren't in the South African store to it ?
