I see the new nano is slightly smaller.
Does anyone know if the leather case by Apple will be too big?

Well notaclarinet...funny you should say that...but it seems to be the case that has "Leather Case for iPod nano" written on the side of the box...a picture of it and a part number of MA135G/A - unless ma' Momma dun't taught me to read gud!
I have a 2nd gen black iPod nano sat nestled quite happily in the case; the one with the ribbon pull cord and there's no movement or slipping out by the iPod.
True, this may be because it's new and I will admit that the old iPod nano's were maybe a bit tighter fit (I have 2 of these and tried them both in the case and would be more scared about scratching them when putting them in it) but it hasn't dropped out when shaking (though not too much) and is clean, scratch free and protected - that's all I want! I'm not gonna comment further "cos I don't like bein' called stoopid!" - people can make their own minds up...I was just trying to be helpful!

How to safely remove Apple leather case for iPhone 5/5S?

Waiting for my iPhone 5S which should get here in less than 2 weeks now, I decided to purchase the leather case in advance so I can put it on my iPhone 5.
When I had to take pictures of my iPhone for ebay, I realized how extremely difficult it is to remove the case.
I'm afraid I might damage the phone while taking it back out of the case so I hope there's a safe strategy to get the phone out safely.

What is covered under the Apple leather case warranty

Apple cases come with a one year warranty and apparently it covers workmanship and manufacturing defects but for a case, nearly everything could be claimed to be cosmetic damage caused by the user. Will they cover for example if the case goes wonky at the bottom where the gaps for the lightning port and EarPods ports are?

I have been using a leather case with a magnetic clasp for months. The only side effect is that I need to recalibrate the compass app when I use it. This is really not a problem since I don't use the compass app very often. I haven't encountered any other interference or problems.

Apple changes the case.
IN my situation it was that the case was broken near the earphones plug.
BUt if you are considering whether buy or not the leather case, i can tell you that case will change its color. I dont know anout black, i have brown, it becomes more brown as i use it. I suppose the case has top layes and when you use it the top layer goes off and you have final layer.
ON my brown case the used color is darker brown.
I Like this case, it looks luxurious, as it is.

I-Pod Video 30GB Leather Case

I'm looking for a leather case for my 30G Video I-Pod. I want something that has a built-in wheel and screen cover. No belt clip or arm band is prefered.
I read that Apple's leather case got good reviews, but if I understood it right you have to slide it out of the case to use it. That seems pointless to me b/c you are still explosing your IPOD every time you change a song and if any sand or dirt gets into the case it scratches every time you slide it out right?
Please give me some advice here!

TS2917 Macbook pro retina leather case with magnets

I've bought a new expensive leather case for my new macbook pro retina display. I've had my macbook accidentally fall asleep 3 or 4 times already.
So, does it mean that I have to throw away that case? Or is it okay to keep using it unless I'm keeping it away when i turn on my macbook? What would you recommend to do?

IPhone 6 leather case damage and colour loss

So I bought the iPhone 6 product red leather case when I got my iPhone, and after a couple months of use it looks pretty bad. Ultimately I'd like to get it replaced for a black one, does anyone know if that's possible or what my options are?

If Genuine leather case match well on iPhone 5?

A little boring to have the otterbox armed my first iPhone 3G to now iPhone 5,going to transfer another protective case from the classic defender,check PC cover and slim TPU cover,none of them could do good as otterbox,lastly get to know the iPhone 5 genuine leather case,which seems ok,at least it in line with the high-end iPhone not like the silicone case which makes iPhone a cheap one,and now the sole question is,genune leather really do good job as defender ?esp. the flip cover seems a little bit ugly...?

I've found the best way is to focus on sliding up from the corners not the centre (as the otterbox home button is a mountain in the way)
CONTROL CENTRE:
- use the flat of your thumb (ie thumb print not tip)
- slide down (ie heading north!) the otterbox slope below the bottom left corner
- slide up the iphone screen from bottom left corner
CAMERA:
- use the flat of your thumb (ie thumb print not tip)
- slide down (ie heading north!) the otterbox slope below the bottom right corner
- slide up the iphone screen from bottom right corner
seems to work consistantly for me now - key is to keep away from the centre and use the corners of the screen!

IPhone leather case can cause scratches?

I just bought the Apple iPhone leather case for my 5s, since i read so many positive reviews about it.
I tried it on, and it feels very nice. No complains about that.
But its really tight fit, so i had to struggle a while to take it off.
My concern is: is it likely that the case can cause scratches on my phone, (especially corners and sides) when i put it on/take it off since its so tight?
I feel like the tight fit could wear/scratch the frame because it take some struggle to remove it?

I bought an apple ipod video 30gb black and i kept the plastic screen on for a long time and i decided to find a case.
There were no cases available at the time in stores so i started looking for one on the web. No luck there, only pre-orders and such. This is leather case which fits the ipod nicely. And i bought one.
Luckily it is free shipping because i live in Toronto,Canada and i thought the shipping would be alot from Hong Kong.
My case arrived in 6 days and all postage stamps on the outside of the package came out to $27.40, and i only paid $27 for it.
I could finally take off the plastic tape that came with the ipod which was peeling on the sides and i put it into my case, VERY NICE!
Anyways i still did not want it to get scratched so i was looking for a screen protector (eg, invisible sheild) but then i realized that if i had it in a case the whole time then i could just use saran rap and used a little bit of tape on the back.
It works perfectely and only 0.00001 cents per inch.

If you put you GNx in you purse or have it in a good Case you should be fine I looked on CORNING's web site to see if it had Gorilla Glass it did'nt show that the GNx. did but you can call them an ask to see if it's got it installed or not.

But what i use for my droids when i dont have them in there leather cases is a Oakly Glasses Bag there are two things it's good for 1. If your storing it in your purse with it being in the glass bag it will keep stuff off the phone. An the bag won't limit the sound's from your phone it'll stay the same. 2 The bag not only protects it's contents that are inside you can clean you phones screen with the bag as well just flip the bag inside out. Mixed Feelings About Apple iPad Case

I like the Apple case except when the cover is completely open and saddled to the back. Makes it a bit thick to hold. SOme guy at the store bought a leather case, think it was made by Belkin and I thought it was terrible. Add a lot of thickness to the iPad when fully opened. Seem like almost everyone I saw at the Apple store in Manhattan was buying the Apple one. How are you guys liking it that bought one?

I love the apple case.. I was (and still am) eager to get a really nice premium leather case but after enjoying the apple case i realized there is one MUST have feature for any case... Without it my iphone isn't really useable....
I am referring to the ability to "fold" such that the case provides for an angled stand to type on. Having used the iphone (and loving it!!) for the past few days i realized its basically (for me at least) impossible to type on if its laying flat. Well, okay, its technically possible... But it is so so so much easier and more enjoy and... well.. functional to be typing on an angle. When not on an angle the tops of my hands visually hang in front of most of the non-keyboard screen and the viewing angle of the screen isn't quite as sharp..
So thats my advice... I love love love VAJA cases and can't wait for them to have something at gets me excited... But having used the ipad for a few days straight now i realize that a case that provides for an angled typing option is an absolute necessity,,,

Friend has a fabulous-quality leather case made in South America, with no maker's name on it. There is a silver logo on the front, which is in the shape of two teardrops (or raindrops). The snap on the back is made by Fiocchi. The case flips open and has small, tight pockets (optional) for cards. The cost was over $100, and my friend THINKS the maker's name begins with a B. I can email a pic if need be.
