Apple Pay not working over half the time at Subway & Walgreens after adding TCF card

After I got my iPhone 6, there weren't many places that took Apple Pay...i tried it at Subway and it worked there at first and then it worked at Walgreens too. I mostly used AmEx cards and Citibank cards. However, once my bank finally started being Apple Pay capable (TCF Bank) it hasn't worked as well. Whether or not that has anything to do with it i don't know, but now it almost never works at Subway and it rarely works at Walgreens. Any suggestions or should I bring my iPhone 6 to Apple and get it switched out?

I think the usage is highly variable, even with chains that claim to accept Apple Pay. I have used mine for several months at my local Walgreens then recently, I was in another Walgreens store and it would not work. The same for Subway. I suspect it is the age and/or health of the terminal that determines the success rate.

Adjust the Volume Control in Control Center, or try a RESET.............

  • HT201401 My iphone 5 volumn down button does not work most of the time. it feels fine.  in an otterbox defender. this is my second iphone that it is doing the same thing.

i have a iphone 5. the volume button going down only does not work.  this is my second phone with the same problem.  i have had otterboxes for both phones.

Does not work even with the case off. I formatted and rebooted, reset, called apple and sent the last one back. It was free but this is getting old. I have had all iPhones and this is the only one I have had issues.

  • Saving to SharePoint works only half the time for Windows 7 Users--all the time for Windows XP users

We have a SharePoint 2010 Environment with hardware load balancing, 2 WFEs, 2 Apps Servers and 1 SQL Server. This was built in October 2013. Office Integration and Saving back to SharePoint works all of the time for users on XP. It works sporadically for
users on Windows 7. When Windows 7 users do the following:
Opening an Office Document from computer and saving it to SharePoint
Within a Document Library, using Save As from an opened document
When selecting in a Document Library from the Document Tab> “New” and then the desired content type
Send> Save to SharePoint from within Office Document
They may either be brought to the SharePoint library (correct) or to My Documents (incorrect).
In the case of number 1 (Opening an Office Document from computer and saving it to SharePoint)--using Save and Send will sometimes open the SharePoint library and sometimes open My Documents.
    Our URL is https://CompanyName.domainname.com/Sites/SiteCollectionName
The intermediary "Sites" is actually a blank path.
When My Documents is opened I've noted with Fiddler (a web debugger) that we get a 404 on sites:
    Could this be the issue?

    Some things to double check:
Ensure that you have sticky sessions enabled on your load balancer
Check that your WebDav calls are making it to the server
Ensure that you have a root site collection in all your web apps
Just out of curiosity, what is the http request look like for the 404 error?

  • Ethernet Port not working 50% of the time?

On my new GD55 P67 50% of the time I start my computer the Ethernet port does not work. I know the cable is good because I have tried several cables. It seems to have problems right after I installed SP1 for windows 7. Is their a known problem with the Ethernet port on this motherboard?

By "start my computer" do you mean start from a complete shutdown, start from S1/S3 sleep or start from hibernation?
The next time you start the computer and your Ethernet port doesn't work, open up a Command Prompt window and type "ipconfig /all" (without the quotes).  Copy and paste the results displayed for the Ethernet port you are having a problem with (or just copy it all if you are not sure which section belongs to the port in question).

After iOS7.1 upgrade, most of the time, I am unable to see running applications. After trying for 4-5 times, I managed to see running application

  • Shared printer not working (most of the time)

I have a Mac Pro running Snow Leopard using a shared Epson R380 printer connected to a G5 (running Leopard) . Most of the time it doesn't work, but occasionally it will. On the Mac Pro, the Epson monitor says "print job accepted" but doesn't change. On the G5, the Epson monitor shows the print job, but says "job stopped". When trying to resume the job, a warning box pops up on the G5 saying "Operation C0uld Not Be Completed - client-error-not-possible".
The shared printer works fine (most of the time, too) with another networked Mac, a Mac mini G4 running Leopard.
All OS's are the latest possible.

  • Sound does not work correctly all the time, on youtube.

So I have been having this issue for a while now, and I have tried everything to fix it on my own.
My issue is sometimes you-tube videos will play about 1-2 sec of sound then stop, the video will buff all the way out and I can watch it but no sound will come from it. Once it happens if I try to watch another video they will all have no sound, but if i start up itunes it will still play music, so it's not my PC.
Once I close Firefox and reopen it 80% of the time it will play sound on the same video, the other 20% of times it will play 1-2secoinds of sound again and quit playing sound, if I restart fire fox again it will play just fine. Also I do not seem to get this issue with internet explore.
    Stuff I have done.
Check for updates for my video/sound cards.
Uninstalled/installed flash 3 times even downloads the Adobe Flash player uninstaller, then reinstalled flash again.
Unchecked enable hardware acceleration, in the Adobe Flash setting.
    My setup
    Firefox 3.6.13
    Windows 7 64bit
ATI HD radeon HD 4350 video card.
I have my PC connected to my TV, sound/video is carried with a HDMI cable from my video card.

Did you check the settings for Firefox in the Volume Mixer?

    Hi,
    Try the following.
Open windows Control Panel, open Windows Update, select 'View update history' in the left hand pane and then select 'Installed updates' link in the following window.
Locate update KB2962407, right click it and select Uninstall.  When done, restart the notebook, open windows Control Panel, open Windows Update and select 'Check for updates'.  You'll see the update you just uninstalled being offered again - right click and select 'Hide Update'.
After this you may or may not need to delete and reload the Audio driver - if you do, the procedure for using recovery manager to reinstall Software and Drivers is detailed in the document on the link below.

  • File downloads not working most of the time

[I originally included this problem in another post; I should know better. I'm posting it separately here in hopes of getting some feedback about this other issue I'm having.]
When I click on a link on a Web page to download a file (maybe the latest version of Firefox), the Save dialog that appears almost always displays the file name without the extension. For example, I just tried downloading the Firefox installer. Instead of displaying the name as "Firefox Setup 13.0.1.exe", it displayed "Firefox Setup 13.0.1". The file type is listed as "binary file". Every once in a while (maybe one in ten tries), if I quit and relaunch Firefox, immediately return to the download page, and click the file link again, the file name and file type will appear correctly. Almost always, I have to resort to using some other browser to download the file.
I've tried deleting the browser cache; resetting Firefox from the about:support page; installing a new copy by downloading the installer file from the Mozilla site. None of this has helped.
The thing that mystifies me the most is the fact that, maybe 10% of the time, the file download succeeds. This (the file download succeeding) seems to happen only immediately after I launch the browser.
    Any ideas?
    --Larry

Thanks for the suggestion. I followed the instructions and deleted the MimeTypes.rdf file, then relaunched Firefox. Unfortunately, nothing changed.
I did notice something strange and possibly informative, however: When I tried to download the Firefox installer, the file once again failed to download. The Downloads window that pops up when I download a file gave the full file name, including the ".exe", and displayed "Canceled - mozilla.net". It appears that the file type isn't lost after all, but the download is canceled.
Any idea what could cause this?

  • WiFi working about half the time

I have been having a very annoying problem with my iPod touch and getting it to connect to the internet at my office. We have a Linksys WRT54GS wireless router, and some days I am able to connect to the net and surf just fine, access iTunes, the App Store, etc. Some days Safari just times out, says it's not connected. I can't pin down why this is happening. It's annoying as ****.
I keep my iPod software up to date, so I know that's not the issue. I have searched other threads, but haven't been able to find an answer. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to when I can connect and when I can't. Some days it works, some days it doesn't. I know it's not signal strength. Because my office is right next door to the room with the router, and on the days it works, I am able to get a connection anywhere in the building.

When you notice that your iPT is connected to the wrong network, go into the WiFi settings and select the WiFi net that the iPT is connected to, (this being the wrong network) and select forget network.
Then it shouldn't connect to the wrong network in the future.
Sometimes, if two networks have the same name, connecting to the wrong network can happen. I've noticed that people when setting up a WiFi network at home, sometimes fail to rename there network and use the default name.
When they get near another WiFi with the same default name, there iPT will connect to that network, thinking that is a WiFi that has connected to before, when in reality, it a different network with then same name.
To fix this, make sure that your router at home has a unique name and set your iPT to connect to it once. From then on, when connecting to different networks, avoid connecting to networks that have not had there default name changed, or you will continue to connect to any network that is using the default name.
This is just something that I noticed, when I first started using WiFi on my iPT.

  • CS6 & OSX 10.6.8 - saving files directly to the server does not work (most of the time)

    Hi there,
we just switched from OSX 10.5.8 to 10.6.8
OSX was installed on a new partition of the harddisk
    Then installed CS 5
Then installed CS 6 via (adobe creative cloud)
With CS6 we got also the problem with saving files to the server (program error)
It happens mostly with photoshop, sometimes with Illustrator.
I read a lot of posting regarding the same problem but didn´t found a real solution yet.
I am also wondering that there seems to be no solution for this now, because most of the posting i read are 1 year old.
Working locally is not really an acceptable workaround for us or anyone who needs to work with Creative Suite in a professional way.

    Hi franverdi-
It sounds like you've run into issues from the upgrade. I've found a Support article that helps with issues of not being able to connect after an upgrade:
    [[Cannot connect after upgrading Firefox]]
    I hope that helps!
