Apple screw up again sort this problem out.... SIM card not reading in iPad
Why is it, ever since we all have updated our software everyone's getting trouble with their SIM card? My iPad is not even reading my sim, sort this out, am on a 2 year sim contract and I've gotta pay for it when I can't even use it Bcoz of your mistake
The phone was originally locked to AT&T in the US and was hacked to allow it to be used on another network. Restoring the phone has re-locked it to AT&T.
AT&T does NOT unlock iPhones for any reason. You can't use that phone except on AT&T.
Sorry. It's useless to you. Sell it and purchase one you can use.

To prevent this being accidentally activated in the future go to SystemPreferences>Keyboard>Keyboard Shortcuts>Universal Access and uncheck all the boxes.

My ex chap has got on to my mac whilst visiting his daughter and while I was out he has put a new password on the computer.... How can I get in and will I have to lose everything. KirstyDo you have your CDs that came with your Mac, an upgrade CD, or USB thumb drive (10.7/10.8)? You can reboot the computer while holding down Option, select the restore disc (CD or Thumb drive). Let the computer boot. Go to Utilities>Password Reset, and you can reset your password without loosing any data (to my knowledge).

I have recently updated my iMac from OS x mountain lion to OS X Mavericks.
After that I can't upload any video and some files to my personal email account.
I have tried to send a small video clip to the sender as attachment. i have done this before
with the same video same and same email account. This problem found just after installed the
OS X Movericks. Can anyone please help me to sort this problem.

RomanPlease follow these directions to delete the Mail "sandbox" folders. In OS X 10.9 there are two sandboxes, while in earlier versions there is only one.
Back up all data.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
Services ▹ Reveal
from the contextual menu.* A Finder window should open with a folder named "com.apple.mail" selected. If it does, move the selected folder — not just its contents — to the Desktop. Leave the Finder window open for now.
Log out and log back in. Launch Mail and test. If the problem is resolved, you may have to recreate some of your Mail settings. You can then delete the folder you moved and close the Finder window. If you still have the problem, quit Mail again and put the folder back where it was, overwriting the one that may have been created in its place. Repeat with this line:
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.MailServiceAgent
Caution: If you change any of the contents of the sandbox, but leave the folder itself in place, Mail may crash or not launch at all. Deleting the whole sandbox will cause it to be rebuilt automatically.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combinationcommand-C. In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar, paste into the box that opens (command-V). You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return. -

System Preferences>Network, click on the little gear at the bottom next to the + & - icons, (unlock lock first if locked), choose Set Service Order.
The interface that connects to the Internet should be dragged to the top of the list.
If using Wifi/Airport...
Instead of joining your Network from the list, click the WiFi icon at the top, and click join other network. Fill in everything as needed.
For 10.5/10.6/10.7/10.8, System Preferences>Network, unlock the lock if need be, highlight the Interface you use to connect to Internet, click on the advanced button, click on the DNS tab, click on the little plus icon, then add these numbers...

(There may be better or faster DNS numbers in your area, but these should be a good test).
Click OK.
If that doesn't work try changing channels on your Router. -

Been trying to restore Ipod touch for days after updating Itunes. Error code #9. Stuck on restore screen. Tried all the solutions posted. Tried on 2 computers, Vista + XP. No device shown on computer. Thanks Apple! Didn't have this problem before update. How about rolling back your update?

Not all the time his ID is appearing but some times his Apple ID is appearing that time I can't download app, videos, songs.. So please guide me to remove that ID or how to solve that..

BabuCheck Settings/iTunes and AppStore/AppleID and make sure that your AppleID is filled in. If not , sign out and sign in with the correct info.
To make sure that no other apps or videos are on your device than the one you bought, set it up as new device, explained here: How to back up your data and set up as a new device
Content that is not bought with your ID can't be used on your phone, that's why his ID and password is asked when you try to use those apps downloaded in the store. -

have read posts re the iOS 6.1 mess up... but how do I fix this? It says 6.1.1 is there to correct this problem but it is not on iTunes to download. I cannot updte apps, download apps and have had to remove apps because they keep crashing! Very angry!
