AppleScript to map wacom tablet to portion of the screen area?

Other Wacom models have options in the preferences to map a portion of the screen area but the Cintiq does not. How can I accomplish this with AppleScript?

I am new to photoshop but jumped ahead and bought a Wacom Tablet for Christmas. Since Christmas, I have read all of these different posts about how the Wacom and Mac don't really "play well together". I am disappointed, but hoping someone may have some encouraging news. I have a macbook pro 13" - 2009 model but with most updated OS. I do NOT have Maverick!
My question....should I even take the Wacom tablet out of the box or should I just send it back to B & H photo? I have worked on a mac for over 30 years, but still do not feel computer savy enough to manage the mess (that it could be) of connecting the Wacom to my macbook pro. Anyone have any suggestions?

The itunes window on my desktop fails to display the bottom most portion of the screen unless I go into full screen mode. Why?

As a follow up to provide more detailed information.
I have a MacBook as well running 10.6.8.
When I open itunes, the window I expect to come up does. It has a scroll that allows me to view all of my playlists, as well as hit the new playlist icon at the bottom of the screen, etc.
On my Macbook Pro running 10.7.4, when I open itunes, there's no scroll bar, no icons at the bottom most portion of the screen. The only way that I can see the new playlist icon AND be able to view/scroll through all of my playlists is to enter full screen mode....very inconvenient as the window is now fixed (can't be moved out of the way) without exiting full screen mode.
I'm a multi-tasker...rearranging windows, making one application active while another moves into the background, is my typical work situation.

Capturing a portion of the screen with w/ com+sft+3

Last night while doing one of the screen captures I do all the time, I suddenly got a little cross hair icon and found I was able to select a portion of the screen to capture. I had never seen this before and certainly didn't do anything different than I usually do (at least not knowingly). I did a few times and it was great. This morning I tried to recreate the ability but am unable to. Does anyone know what may have allowed this? I can't think why it would do that out of nowhere. It's a nice feature and would like to be able to use it again.

Does anyone want to make me feel more silly by telling me that the feature has been there for years and years? =)Sure. I believe it's been there since OS 7 or OS 8.

How to repaint only a portion of the Screen

We are developing Graphics based application where we need to call repaint method again and again. Now repaint method repaints the whole screen but we want it to repaint only a portion of the Screen. Is it possible ? if yes then how ?

How do I record only a select portion of the screen?

I can't seem to figure out how to record only a select portion of the screen.

QuickTime X screen recording feature doesn't offer anything except the entire display.

The airport icon (upper right portion of the screen) says I am connected to my airport; but, I don't get the icon on the Itunes window (rectangle with a triangle at the bottom of it) that allows me to select the stereo that is connected to my airport?

If the modem is also a router, either use the modem in bridge and run pppoe client on the TC.. that is assuming ADSL or similar eg vdsl. If it is cable service.. and the modem is a router, then bridge the TC.. go to internet page and select connect by ethernet and below that set connection sharing to bridge.
Please tell us more about the modem if the above gives you issues.

How do you zoom in on a portion of the screen in Captivate 8?

As the title says, I can no longer figure out how to zoom in on a portion of the screen using Captivate 8. Adobe, of course, had to change it from version 7. How does one go about doing it?

Which magnifier tool are you referring to? If you double-tap with 3 fingers it should disable zoom. Then you can go into Setttings>Accessibility>Zoom and turn it off.

How to lock portions of the screen

I'm new to Contribute, having just downloaded a trial
version. The software seems geared toward the user who will be
making modifications to websites, not an administrator. How do you,
as an administrator/site designer, lock certain portions of the
screen so that users can't fiddle with them? Does this only work
with Dreamweaver templates?
The sites I design do NOT live on a server of mine. Each
customer finds their own host, so I cannot control access that way.
I also build very basic, barebones sites using tables and
external style sheets, and do all of my HTML coding from scratch. I
do not use Dreamweaver or any other WYSIWYG HTML packages, so I
don't work with templates. Can such locks be implemented using my
style of site design?

You could try faking a Dreamweaver template by copying DW
template tags (i.e. HTML comments) into your source pages. But DW
is a great page and site building tool and you can always try a
trial version of it.

Will Apple Maps reroute me around traffic if the screen is locked?

I have never received a reroute notification, has anyone? If you have, can it be received while navigating with the screen locked? I like to keep the screen locked to save battery life.

My ipod nano has horizaontal lines through the bottom portion of the screen and the left half of the screen is black, the right half of the screen changes from red, to blue to orange, etc. Any idea how to fix that?

White stripes suddenlt appeared at the bottom of the screen on my ipod nano a few weeks ago. I figured it was just from use and that it is an older model- I could still see through them and use the device. Yesterday, only the left half of the screen was visible, the other side was black. This morning, the stripes are still there, all the way across the screen on the bottom, the left side os black and the right sise is red most of the time. Any ideas on what happened and how to fix it?

I would be concerned as well if my iPod nano screen had stripes and was partially black. I found a resource that I think would help in a situation like this.

Portion of the screen doesnt work

for some reason, out of nowhere, the middle of my screen wont register touches. i drew vertical lines in the Sketches app and it stops drawing in the middle. i uploaded the picture here: http://images.sketchesapp.com/view/67ba8421. its not just in Sketches, its the iPhone. when i scroll in Safari, it'll scroll, stop in the middle, and then continue scrolling. i restored it to backup and its still there. any suggestions besides having it checked out at the Apple store?

Standard troubleshooting is:
1) Reset (hold the sleep/wake & home button until the Apple logo appears)
2) Restore in iTunes
3) Make an appointment at the Genius Bar - http://apple.com/retail - to have the phone checked.
