Application Bundle error

Whenever I open Garageband I get an error message saying that"the application bundle can not be found" At this point Garageband will not open unless you open it by clicking on an old garageband project file.
Its not a major inconvenience but it would be nice to find out why??

Thanks for the help so far.
I have already reinstalled GB and I had this problem on the old version too.
Interestingly, if I open GB via the Application icon rather than the dock I still get the same problem but I can re click the application icon and it then loads without having to resort to my "old document" fix. Its not a major problem but I would love to find out why it does it.

If your startup disk says it is full, you need to remove some of your stuff.
Either move some documents/movies/pictures to an external drive (if you want to keep them), or delete them from your startup drive. Then, empty the Trash.
If you move them to an external, you will still have to delete them from the internal drive.
That won't fix Office (I don't think), but it will make everything run better. You need a minimum of 10GB free (more would be better).
You might need to reinstall Office. It should work without problem (well, at least as little problem as Office can muster).

This is an error with Apple's submission verification and you will need to open a developer support request with them. See Re: "Invalid Bundle." "...viewer.app does not support the minimum OS version specified in the Info.plist" for more details.

MDT 2012 - Application Bundle Install Issues- Logged in as Admin randomly between reboots

Hi Everyone,
We are on MDT 2012 / WDS... Moving to SCCM soon but not soon enough.
A new problem started in our environment and I'm not sure if it's a networking, storage, or wds server / settings issue.
The OS deployment happens completely fine, but during the application install phase (Application Bundle) if the application requires a reboot sometimes the deployment does not continue with the rest of the applications, will just stop the process and be
logged in as administrator.
I've checked the normal deployment logs - bdd.log and there is no errors, it shows the last app install but then just drops off. Almost like the machine is not reconnecting to the deployment share to continue installations after the reboot.
This is very random and does not happen on the same app or just one machine model, it's almost like a networking hiccup or something else. The apps exist on the deployment share which is on a 2008 VM with Nas storage.
Any help is appreciated, other logs to look at or if anyone else has seen similar etc...

Thanks for the help guys, I believe I'm all set now. Basically removed the reboot from the problematic app and put the app at the end of the app bundle.
This one was strange... It was the App-V client which I originally did not have a reboot and was the very first app installed in the bundle. With no reboot, I noticed some machines installed the app-v client then would skip all the other apps and move on
to the next phase, which is why I added a reboot.
After adding the reboot I started seeing the problem I posted above logged in as admin. So ultimately removed the reboot and added it as the last app, which seems to be working.

Application Loader error, how to submit app for approval

Firstly, here's my info:
1) App is for iPad and iPhone/iPod Touch
2) Build using Flash CS 5 (Windows), packaged using Air 2.6 using ADT.
3) Successfully build and tested my .ipa file.
4) I just got a Mac OSX (I'm new to Mac) for submitting to Apple for approval.
When I submit my app using the Application Loader:
Error is: "Application failed codesign verification. The signature was invalid, or it was not signed with an Apple submission cartificate"
(read that I need to rename my .ipa to .zip and submit that, but it still gave the error)
Forgive me if this has been answered before, but it's bits and pieces of tips all over.
And I don't understand why I need to manually hack files when Adobe claims Flash can develope apps for iOS.
- ok, yes Flash can develope iOS apps, but with that statement, don't we all presume we can also submit it to the App store?
I've spent months optimizing the app from PFI builds to now using AIR 2.6.
Bought all the devices to test on. Now that I'm ready to submit it to Apple, I'm hitting the wall again.
I've gone through lots of tips but none works for me.
Can someone give step by step instructions?

Apple sent an email:
"Invalid Signature - Make sure you have signed your application with a distribution certificate, not an ad hoc certificate or a development certificate. Verify that the code signing settings in Xcode are correct at the target level (which override any values at the project level). Additionally, make sure the bundle you are uploading was built using a Release target in Xcode, not a Simulator target. If you are certain your code signing settings are correct, choose "Clean All" in Xcode, delete the "build" directory in the Finder, and rebuild your release target."
I'm sure I used the Distribution certs.
Since I'm using Flash and not Xcode, what are the possible problems?

Mail app won't launch: "No Info.plist file in application bundle..."

I'm running 10.6.8 on an Intel iMac and haven't used Mail in a long time. I tried to start it today and it won't launch. I opened the Package Contents for the app from the Finder, and double clicked the Mail executable. It launched in a Terminal window and gave the following error message:

I looked and there is a file called Info.plist in the folder and it even has the string NSPrincipalClass in it. Beyond that, I am clueless!

Reinstall Applications Bundle

I recently reinstalled Snow Leopard on my MBP (2.3 i7, 8GB, 500GB - 10.6.8). I am now trying to install the application bundle from the DVD enclosed in the box. Every time I try to do this, I get an error:
The installation failed.
An unknown error occured.
I ran hardware check and everything was fine. I've restarted multiple times. Can anyone help me out?

Cant find the application bundle

im embarrased to ask this but i will anyway.
reinstalled 10.5.2 in my new MAC PRO. I have so many back ups of Library GB
application support and AUDIO. so what i do is i trash the file AUDIO and GarageBand in the LIBRARY of the MPro ( after installing a brand new I life 08 with all the upgrades 4.1.2 ) and drag and drop each folder in their respective places from my QUad. What i am doing is obliterating the audio and Garageband files that were installed from the DVD as if it were any file that i would simply overwrite.
It asks for authentication and boom both folders install. I then loaded Virtual Guitarist 2. License software. Then i do permissions and drive repair. No major things i think show up. But when i start up GB i will get "can find the application bundle". if i eliminate that message and click on any GB song it will load fine play fine and everything is smooth, but it is showing this message every time i load GB from the dock or initially when i click on a song. I must click a GB file at least 2 or 3 times and then it will load . I think what i am doing is continuing BAD HABITS. I am trashing the Library Audio and Garageband
( from application support ) folder freshly installed and dragging in the old saved folder with ALL my stuff into that brand new Hard Drive.
I think this is the reason im getting this prompt/message.
If i would just take the files from the old to the new and not the ENTIRE folder
i would not be invading or intruding upon the LIBRARY. In essence
if youre still with me, i am polluting the new fresh install with data from another volume. DOES THIS make sense to any of you.? could it be the reason i get this? I will try not to do it next time and see if things go smoothly.
but i think this is a no no when dragging and dropping data. Those AUDIO and Garageband words should NOT BE REPLACED but added to. is this making sense to any of you still awake? would really appreciate an opinion.

I think what happened here is you attempted to mix and match versions of Garageband. Your issues are unlikely to have to do with Leopard versus Tiger. Since both Macs you have are Intel CPU Macs and they are just simply different generations of Mac Pro, your best method of migrating would be the migration assistant. Drag and dropping the audio files, after deleting what came with machine introduces a lot of room for error. So first, restore Garageband following these instructions from the discs that shipped with your Mac:

Don't trash the Library files, those are bad habits you should avoid.

Application Exception Error in NT

I am a relativley newbie to Labview (5.0.1). Got a serious problem.
I have created a simple VI to collect voltages from 2 sources. I used the
Simple Analog Sample Single point Sub-VI (x2).One sample per second. I stuck
this in a For-loop and wrote the data to a file. I also bundled the outputs
from the sub-vi and outputed that to a Waveform Chart. It worked fine.
I modified that file to use Simple Analog Sample Multiple points (not multi-
waveforms). The data was bundled and output to a Waveform Chart. (no file this
time). I got a repeatable Application Exception Error (Win NT 4.0 workstation).
Using the trace function, I found the error occured as the data hit the bundle
function. I dropped the Sampl
e AI and used a random number generator, the error
still occured (as data hit the bundle functtion).
I started from scratch the next time (tonight). I used a for-loop, Simple AI
multipoint. One sample per second. Data indexed and then put into a bundle to
put into a waveform chart. It worked !! but all of the plots were in just one
of the five windows in the chart. I stopped the execution. I right clicked on
the chart and chose overlay/stack. BAM !! the exception came back.
What am I doing wrong ??!! Is it easy to fix?

I tried the VI on another machine (different NT build), and I still get the
error. I reinstalled LV on both machines, and I still get the error. You can
imagine today was fun and productive...
Since you do not get the error and are using version 6, I am guessing it is a
LV thing. Anyway, I have a tech support person at NI looking at the logs and
the VI.
I guess it is time for a 6.0 upgrade.

Sorry for the late reply. My email firewall has become a little over zealous & sent a lot of my emails straight to my junk email folder, so I have only just now discovered your reply in my junk mail folder.
The only "don't open files exceeding xxx megabytes" instruction I can find in my Prefs, is in the Bridge Prefs for Thumbnails, & mine is set at 1000mb. The biggest files I handle are bigger than 200mb so I should be able to open a few, not just one.
However, this doesn't explain why I can open a psd format file of 180mb, close it, but then can't open a RAW format file of only 26mb immediately after.
I can open the RAW file only if I restart my computer - very annoying!
However, thanks for the advice about the video card & memory.
So, I'm still stuck as to what the issue is.

Just like the title says, starting with Firefox 4 Beta 6 or 7, I forgot. Any time I try to open a new blank tab (sometimes even when I start up Firefox and the app tabs load) I get an error that says "JavaScript Application - Reference Error: XPCSafeJSObjectWrapper is not defined" If I close it everything works as normal again (until I open a new tab) but it is very annoying to have to do this. Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

2) That launch file is invalid. You might check it (and the project in general) using JaNeLA.
3) The only place that SimpleSerial class could be, that the JRE would find, is in the root of aeon.jar. Is it actually there?

For deploying Web Dynpro for Java application, J2EE_admin correct password must be stored in the scured area of config tool.
Your error show that J2EE_admin information is not correct.
So, Please ask your basis team to update new J2EE_ADMIN password or you can do it in scured area of config tool.

HFM Application Library error Null while deploying the validated app

Hello,
I am trying to deploy a HFM application on EPM 11.1.3 and when I right click on the application in Application library of EPMA, I am getting a pop-up with the following error:
Application Library Error
null
Please note:
1. This is a EPMA managed HFM application.
2. The validation of the application is successful.
3. Deployement errors with the above error.
4. It is on Windows 2003 server with MSServer as the RDBMS.
Please help me resolve this issue.

Hi Ankit,
This would be normally resolved by Restarting the EPM Services and also remember to restart the Calculation manager services as well.
Once the services are restarted try deploying the application again to see if it deploys successfully.
