Application on icloud
I have downloaded a free application to my mini ipad. This application uploads automatically to icloud. When in icloud, where can I find the application?
What is Stored in iCloud and What is Not?

How do I get the blackrain application in ICloud?
"Blackrain application"?
You can't gets apps in iCloud. You can only get apps from the AppStore, and there are none called "Blackrain".
The only blackrain I have heard of is related to iPhone hacking and can't be discussed here. -
i would like to remove an application from iCloud so that it does not upidate and change it all the time. How do I seperate it out?
The Mophie Air is a good battery case, but doesn't offer the protection she's looking for. I suggest sticking to the Lifeproof, the iPhone has a very good battery (2-3 days moderate usage for me).
To your 2nd to last paragraph, that is false. Verizon is allowing exisiting customers to keep Unlimited Data - but will lose it once they use a subsidized upgrade. So if you buy a 4S (or LTE device for example) outright, you will keep unlimited data. Mobile hotspot may use up a bit of data, but it is a separate add-on/feature. The new Family Share plans may change that, so it's one giant center of data all devices use. -
Hi,
I like this iwork solution in icloud, but the integrity might be developed more. If I got an email to my icloud inbox, I can not open it with iworks application but it will be downloaded instead. It would be very useful to be able to open an attachment onsite, using one of the iworks app.
thanks

How do I delete applications from my iCloud?
If you mean from your purchased list, you can't. The app store keeps a permanent list of your previous purchases so you can redownload them if desired.

How can I restore the data from a single application in icloud?
Here is my situation. My iPad2 is constantly crashing. Whenever I use an app it runs for about 30 seconds and then the screen blinks black and I go back to my my home screen. At first I erased all the data and settings and tried to restore my backup from icloud. When I did this, it started crashing again right away. Then I erased all the data and reset it to run as a new ipad. In doing this, I redownloaded all my apps and everything is working fine. However, I have about a years worth of data in NoteShelf (note taking app) that is on icloud but that I cannot access. How can I just restore the data from that one app?
Welcome to the Apple Community.
Unfortunately you cannot selectively restore from a backup, it's either all or nothing. -
Please If anybody know this answer, please post me.
Welcome to the Apple Community.
Your apps are not in your back up file, only your app data. -
Why can't icloud load any of the applications like find my iphone
None of the applications in icloud are loading for the past few days. I cannot open any of these applications... why is this happening?
Hey there pahatch,
It sounds like your App Store is not completely loading for you on your iPhone 6, but works fine on your iPad. I would start by quitting the App Store app on your phone first:
iOS: Force an app to close
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that restart the device and test the issue again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
If the issue persists I would next sign out of the App Store in your Settings, and then restart the iPhone 6 one more time. and try again:
App Store settings - iPhone
Settings > iTunes & App Store
Tap your account name, then tap Sign Out.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
Cheers,

Can i run applications on ipad from icloud?
I have a piece of interaction software (project management training) and I wonder if anybody knows if I can store this application on iCloud and run it from the iPad?
The software would have to be optimized to run on an iOS device such as an iPad.
And you can only store apps that were downloaded and installed from the App Store on iTunes / iCloud.
See Store > Automatic Downloads here > Learn how to set up iCloud on all your devices -
Strange issue...
Recently I am unable to log in to iCloud from my computer at work. In addition, my calendar and contacts no longer sync with my iCloud. Instead, I am getting an error message stating that 'iCloud encountered and error while trying to connect to the server'.
I checked with IT and there is no blocking of the Apple servers going on.
If you are REALLY interested, here is the dialogue from the error message...

1. Sign out of your account
(If you are unable to do this because System Preferences has frozen, Force Quit System Preferences and try again)
2. When prompted, opt to delete, contacts, calendars etc from your Mac.
(You are only deleting this data from your Mac, not from iCloud, the data will be reinstated when you log back in. If you need to check that the data is in iCloud before deleting it go to iCloud.com and check each section for data)
3. Having logged out, check that the iCloud accounts along with their data have disappeared from the Mail, Address Book and iCal Applications.
(If necessary, delete the iCloud accounts from each of these application separately from each Applications Preferences)
4. At this point it may be worth trying to log into iCloud from the System Preferences iCloud settings again, if this works, all well and good, if it doesn't continue to step 5.
5. Open your User Library folder in the Finder. (When in the Finder, go to the Go menu, hold down the option key (alt) and choose Library when it appears in the Go menu)
6. Navigate to Library > Application Support > iCloud and drag the iCloud folder to your desktop. (This action only copies the folder and will provide you with a back up)
7. Select the iCloud folder again in Library > Application Support and drag it to the trash, enter your administrators password when prompted.
8. Restart your computer.
9. You should now be able to enter your ID and Password in system Preferences > iCloud and log into your account. Check the services you wish to use and once you are satisfied it's working as it should, trash the iCloud folder you copied to your desktop earlier. -
Cannot login to iCloud with Yosemite
Hi everybody,
a few weeks ago I updated my iMac to Yosemite. It all works fine except that I cannot login to iCloud with my wife's account.
When she logs in into her iMac account it sometimes appears a Mac configuration screen. It seems that everything's ok, because
the configuration finishes without error message, but when I look into the System Preferences -> iCloud her iCloud account is not active.
When I try to login with her ID a message appears "You can't sign in at this time. Please try again later."
It also doesn't work when I go into the System Preferences -> Internet Accounts and try there to login into iCloud.
It really bothers me because I didn't find a solution. And also I don't understand why it works with mit ID on my iMac account.
There is no problem to login with her ID on the Apple page, I've already tried that.
Thanks in advance!Welcome to the Apple Community.

How can I get icloud to back up my computer?
I am set up with icloud and had the icloud icon on my desktop, which worked without problems for several months.
Now the icloud icon is gone, and the only way to retrieve the saved documents is in a file entitled "previous local idisks".
I looked under icloud settings, and none of the memory has been used, which means nothing is in my icloud.
Not sure what the problem is! Any help would be greatly appreciated.iCloud will not back up your computer. Only documents you can save in iCloud is photostream photos and documents created with Apple Applications within iCloud itself (pages, numbers, keynote), your Address Book contacts and Calendars. You can also back up iPhone & iPad settings.
iDisk was part of MMe and is going away or has gone away. I'm not sure of the exact date, but the deadline may have expired. If you have documents in iDisk and you did not save them to another location, they may be lost.

I am having lots of trouble with my Macbook, specifically surrounding iCloud.
Every time that I log into my macbook it sends me through the prompts as if I am setting up the computer for the first time. It asks for my apple ID and password and all the terms and such to agree to.
Under Preferences>iCloud, my account is there but it says "enter your password to continue using iCloud"
When I enter my password correctly, it seems to work. The pop up window disappears as if it was successful, BUT it goes back to the same screen asking for me to enter my password. No error message is shown.
None of the applications requiring iCloud work after trying this.
So, after research, I tried the simple sign out and sign back in...Now, when I try to sign in by entering my apple ID and password, it says "You can’t sign in at this time. Try signing in again."
If I restart my computer, I again get the set up prompts and "sign into" my iCloud. This brings me back to the "enter your password" message in preferences.
I know for sure that I am entering everything correctly. I can log in through the website and on my other devices fine. So it is not a username/password issue.
I have tried deleting the iCloud folder at: Users>Your Username>Library>Application Support>iCloud
I tried to delete the 'Networkinterfaces.plist' file at Macintosh HD>library>preferences>system configuration and restarting.
I have been having these issues for months. I recently updated to Yosemite hoping it would somehow fix the problem but it obviously hasn't.I have a similar problem after upgrading to Yosemity. I get the message that it can not open the iCloud ; It gives the option to sign out of iCloud but I have not tried to sign out and then sign in again . Yosemity corrected my malfunctioning Safari browser

Calendar on iPhone does not sync to iCloud
I have never synced anything to iCloud before. I would like to sync my iPhone 4s Calendar to the iCloud (iOS 7.0.4). I have followed all the instructions to sync to iCloud using the settings, Mail, Contacts and Calendars and iCloud, but it doesn't seem to be sending my iPhone Calendar data to the iCloud. Since I don't have any other means to back up my Calendar, I can' afford to lose my iPhone calendar data, since iTunes no longer syncs my iPhone calendar data to my iMac. The calendar data on my iMac is not current . Any suggestions would be welcome.
Welcome to the Apple Community limill.
1. First check that all your settings are correct, that calendar syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
2. Make sure the calendars you are using are in your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by clicking/tapping the calendar button in the top left corner of the application ), non iCloud calendars will not sync.
3. If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your calendars are in the iCloud account, you might try unchecking calendar syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling calendar syncing settings. -
My iphone 4 will not back up calendar events to the icloud!
Since I installed Mountain Lion and subsequently activated iCloud for the first time I have been having a few issues with Calendars.
First issues was all the doubled up events which I eventually sorted out by turning the iCloud settings on and off and then merging for my Macbook and iPhone 4. Since then any Calendar events that I have entered on my Macbook have been backing up to the iCloud with no issues and have been pushing to my iPhone as well. Where the problem comes in is when I enter an event on my iPhone calendar it does not back up to the iCloud and therefore does not come up on my Macbook calendar either. Any help would be much appreciated!Welcome to the Apple Community.
Make sure the calendars you are using are in your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by clicking/tapping the calendar button in the top left corner of the application ), non iCloud calendars will not sync.
