Application Review Problem

Hi
I am having problem with releasing my app. it's been a month my app. doesn't get posted on the app store and the reviewer doesn't respond to my e-mails to be able to resolve any problem if exists, I was wondering where should I contact.

Error starting the Planning application, review the event log for details

We are using the Hyperion Demo and there was a problem suddenly cropped up.
While rebooting the system error is displayed saying - Atleast one of the driver is not installed.
VMware is used to access the Hyperion Demo and when Planning application is started it gives the following error:

We were using this Demo from some weeks and was able to access the workspace and others but from few days this issue is faced.
Immediate response is highly appreciated as we are planning for a user demo in the weekend.

OLDAP is not running.
Following errors are displayed:
When VMWare is restarted: At least one service or driver failed during system startup. Use Event viewer to examine the Event log for details.
OpenLDAP: Windows could not start the hyperion S9 OpenLDAP on Local Computer. For more information review the system even log. If this is not the microsoft service contact the service vendor, and refer to service specific code 21.
Event log: The Hyperion S9 OpenLDAP service terminated with service - specific - erro 21 (0x15).

Review Problems and Solutions after upgrade question

I have recently migrated from WSS 3.0 to Sharepoint Foundation 2010. I now have a the following messages in Sharepoint Admin.
The SharePoint Health Analyzer has detected some critical issues that require your attention. View these issues.
Accounts used by application pools or service identities are in the local machine Administrators group.
Using highly-privileged accounts as application pool or as service identities poses a security risk to the farm, and could allow malicious code to execute. The following services are currently running as accounts in the machine Administrators group: SharePoint
Central Administration v4 (Application Pool)
SPTimerV4(Windows Service)
Built-in accounts are used as application pool or service identities.
Using built-in accounts like Network Service or Local System as application pool or as service identities is not supported in a farm configuration. The following services are currently running as built-in identities on one or more servers: SPSearch4(Windows
Service)
The last time I tried to correct this type of issue I wound up creating a problem that I was unable to correct. I had to reinstall Sharepoint. How critical is this and what is the best way to make these changes without causing larger problems?
I am using two accounts to run the services/pools/etc. Well 3 if you count the Local System. Account #1 and #2 are not in the Admins group. They were when I installed everything but I have since removed them.

I recommend to follow the steps below to see if the warning message remains:
1.   Re-run Rule Definition.
In Central Administration, go: Monitoring > Health Analyzer > Review rule definitions. On the Health Analyzer Rule Definitions page, in the Category: Security group, click the rule definition link, Accounts used by application pools or service identities
are in the local machine Administrators group. Click the Run Now button, then click Close. Wait a minute or two, and then return to Review problems and solutions page.
2.   Reset Farm Service.
Login to the local machine hosting the farm Central Administration application. Go to Start > Administrative Tools > Services and scroll down to the SharePoint 2010 Administration service. Double-click this service, select the Log On tab. If not selected,
select the This account option and then enter or re-enter the farm account. At the warning prompt, "The new login name will not take effect until you stop and restart the service," click OK. Stop and restart the service, and then
click OK. Wait a minute or two, and then return to Review problems and solutions page.
3.   Reset the Farm Timer Service.
Login to the local machine hosting the farm Central Administration application. Go to Start > Administrative Tools > Services and scroll down to the SharePoint 2010 Timer service. Double-click this service and select the Log On tab. If not selected,
select the This account option and then enter or re-enter the farm account. At the warning prompt, "The new login name will not take effect until you stop and restart the service," click OK. Stop and restart the service, and then
click OK. Wait a minute or two, and then return to Review problems and solutions page.

Application Builder problem on one server but not another

I am having an Application Builder problem. When I get into App Express and go inside the builder and try to edit a listed application, I get an “http 404 the page cannot be found. The page might have had its name changed or is temporarily unavailable” situation. I can get into SQL commands, utilities, and administrative activities. I can also run the application. Also, if I go onto a different server with App Express on it, I can get into the builder and edit applications with no trouble. Our DBA had the server in question rebooted a little over a week ago and that took care of the problem for a couple days. Any ideas? Is this an Express problem or a server problem? He had also tried restarting Express before he had the reboot done and that didn’t help.

ASP application has problems working with oracle database 8.1.7

ASP application has problems working with oracle database 8.1.7 through both oracle ODBC driver and Microsoft ODBC driver
We have an ASP application running on Windows 2000 server, and with 8.1.7 Net8Client and MDAC 2.6 SP1.
The application worked fine with an Oracle 8.0.5 database.
After upgrading oracle database to 8.1.7.0.0, our ASP application works fine except when updating the same data record more than once. The application is not saving our updates.
We tested our application using Oracles ODBC driver v8.1.7.5.0
and experienced more problems. We had problems just bring up our data entry pages. In either case, we are returned with some 505 errors in our browser, problems with the ASP pages and IIS, the page is not displaying.
If anyone has some suggestions on how to fix my problem, please advise. Thanks in advance.

I am writing From Turkey. I have an iphone 5s and i believe i am the one of first iphone 5s buyer in Turkey.
I had a problem and i called apple and nobody solved my problem. I tunes help desk or whatever thay said that problem is not their problem its applications developers problem...
I am explaining my problem :
I downloaded Skype, ICQ ,Air Wings, Shazam , And some of other applications but its koming with japanese language. I change my prefered language to Turkish and my location is also choosen Turkey. But I have still the same problem.
I tunes help desk gave me these link below to solve my problem.
If Apple keep telling me that this is not their problem i am going to change my iphone and my all families phone to another brand...

Adobe Story free application install problem

I have been using Adobe Story Free version for a year but with the most recent automatic update (Dec 2012) the desktop application will not open. Upon clicking the icon for Adobe Story it attempts to take an update but stops with the following message:
" Sorry, an error has occurred. This application cannot be installed because this installer has been mis-configured. Please contact the application author for assistance."
Does anyone know how to fix this?

If you can't remember your security questions go to Express Lane.
select iTunes from the list, then iTunes store. On the next screen select account Management. There, select iTunes store account security and write that you would like to reset your security questions and / or answers.
You should get an eMail reply over the next 24 hours.

Application List problems - will Nokia ever addres...

The empty Application List problem on the Nokia Go To select options list is well known.
My new 5610 takes this a step further. When you try to select Applications List when choosing Go To options, the machine just hangs.
Has anyone else experienced this? I guess the phone's a bit new for a s/w upgrade...

Acrobat 9.0 Shared Review problem

Hello,
I upgraded to Acrobat 9.0 professional from 8.0 professional, and can no longer create a shared review. I did a complete uninstall of 8.0 prior to the 9.0 installation. I am running Windows XP Professional w/ Service Pack 3 on a Core2 Quad CPU @ 2.40 GHz using 3.25 GB RAM.
I have never had any issues with the shared review on Acrobat 8.0, but now just prior to completing the setup process for the review, I receive a dialog message stating "Status: Could not save the shared review-enabled PDF file". Options include: Retry (non-productive) and Cancel (which does work). "Cancel" terminates the process.
What leads up to this event is similar to the routine I followed under Acrobat 8.0.
1. Save pdf from FrameMaker.
2. Move pdf to publicly accessible folder on network.
3. Open pdf.
4. Select Comments > Send for Shared Review...
5. Select "Automatically collect comments on my own internal server".
6. Click Next.
7. Select "Network folder" radio button.
8. Click Browse to navigate to pdf location. Status confirms that "Shared folder location is valid".
9. Click Next.
10. Select "Send it automatically using Adobe Acrobat" radio button.
11. Select "As a link within the message".
12. Click Next.
13. Type a name for the server profile (e.g. "Test")
14. Click Next.
15. Click To and add addressee(s).
16. Click Send. "Create Shared Review" dialog box states "Status: Could not save the shared review-enabled PDF file".
17. Click Cancel.
I have searched for this message ("Status: Could not save the shared review-enabled PDF file") and only found a TechNote indicating that "...with Acrobat 9.0 you no longer need to Reader-enable a PDF before you send it for Shared Review; this is done automatically." I'm not doing this, so it appears to be unrelated to my problem.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Sorry for the long post and thanks for any help.

We are getting this on certain machines and not others. I can't seem to be able to find a rhyme or reason. We are trying to initiate reviews on a shared internal network location.
A few questions for the forum:
Does Owner rights matter on the share that the review file is to be stored in? Currently we have Modify rights for all participants and initiators.
Does it make a difference which updates are installed past 9.0? Does it make a difference if Pro and Reader are installed?
Can someone confirm that the Acrobat.com is required to be installed on the machine? I noticed on the latest installs of reader acrobat.com application is not installed.

After Installing Application Server - Problem connecting to my Databases

I have 10g installed on my Windows server, and have no problems connecting to my database(s). After I install Application Server 10g, I am no longer able to connect to any of them, as if the TNSNAMES.ORA file is no longer configured correctly. I am training myself on these applications. Anyone have any suggestions what is happening behind the scenes?

After deploying a jsf application via the web interface of the application server enterprise manager I tried to connect to the 10g database - and it failed with the same error as yesterday?

The installation guide under (4) tells me that I don't have to worry since I use a new listener version.
To complete the confusion: on my virtual test machine oracle 10g and oracle AS 10g work fine side by side?? Perhaps because I did a Standard Edition install of the database (on the real machine I used Enterprise Edition)? Is there a way to figure out what kind of install I did?

Whoops, I might had a problem with a not correctly shut down database (just shutted windows down without killing the instance - didn't know this wasn't ok). Still evaluating the issue. But to say the least, it seems the application server has nothing to do with my problem :)

App Store - cannot see customers' application reviews

My iPhone application on category list shows 30+ reviews from customers,
but when I click on it, it lists only 6 reviews. It's been like this for 2-3 weeks.
I also see that some other applications have similar issues.
Is this a known bug in App Store? Is there anything I can do see the reviews?
I don't know where I should report this problem to...

I would petition Apple to fix this immediately and remove all reviews with no text associated with them. I can't believe anyone at Apple thought this was a good idea!!!
