I downloaded flex sdk to see if there is anything that will help me. But, In flex sdk, I cannot find anything that would ease my path. I want to stick to developing in C# to talk to Flash applications. What is the best way to proceed? Are there any sdks that I can download and use for C# development to interact with the flex controls? What is the way to go? I seem not to find any good hits in the web as well

How can I find out the previous service provider my device is still registered with?
When trying to create a BIS account, I received the error message that my device was already registered with a different service provider and that I would have to reregister it. The problem is that I bought it new from cordlessphoneworld.co.uk and it was supposedly "completely refurbished".
My Pearl 8100 is a BT phone, however BT confirmed to me that it was not registered with their network. The seller, cordlessphoneworld.co.uk, told me to contact BlackBerry support, and BB support told me to talk to my service provider (O2 UK) who has already told me I would have to get in touch with the previous service provider.
How can I get my BB released from its current BIS registration, or at least find out who it is registered with, in order to finally enjoy its full functionality and not just the regular phone stuff?
My BB info:
PIN: *********
IMEI: #################
Happy for any help or ideas!!
Thanks.
EDIT: Removed personal information
Message Edited by Andy on 08-30-2009 02:33 PMTheres a high chance it was set up with the original carrier that is was sold with.
To find this out you need to get the vendor id of the device.
Do this by holding down (all at the same time ) the ALT+CAP+H button..
Or
Whilst pressing down ALT, select E Then S then C then R
You should see a little page pop up with random info.
What you are looking for is the vendor ID. a three digit number.
Then I will post a list of all the vendors IDS at the end of this message as i can't remember the link..
Anyhow, find the carrier from the list and call them asking them to release the PIN..
IF... the prev user didn't register it with that carrier (which would mean you phone has possibly been used twice before) then you can call your current Carrier and ask them to escalate the call to RIM who will be able to tell...
Hope this helps..

I have the current generation of the AirPort Extreme and a handful of devices that utilize the new 5Ghz A/C frequency. My internet speeds were blazing fast when I had first set it up but lately it has been lagging terribly. I was told that changing my dhcp did help, which it did it seems like it might be back to its normal speeds but I just want to know what are the best settings to configure for the airport so that I can get the most out of my service on all my devices? I'm using a CAT 6 cable which does help, I have a guest wifi setup with a wifi password which I understand will slow it down a little. Can anyone just point me in the right direction or just give me a step by step guide on what settings to configure? Should I really consider turning off the guest network?
I am assuming that you are looking to configure your network to provide the highest level of bandwidth possible for your network clients. If that is the case, the following are a few things to consider:
The Internet modem should support Gigabit Ethernet. That is the Ethernet connection between the modem and your 802.11ac AirPort Extreme should be Gigabit Ethernet.
Use CAT-5e or CAT-6 Ethernet cables between all wired connections.
Only expect 802.11ac performance with 802.11ac clients in the same room as the base station.
Eliminate or significantly reduce any forms of Wi-Fi interference on both the 2.4 & 5 GHz bands.
When streaming, especially HD video on your local network, use wired connections between the host and player devices when possible.
Other than the above suggestions there are no "magic" settings that you can make on your AirPort. Note: The Guest network shares the same bandwidth as the "main" network. Unless you have a network goal to provide this type of network, it is best left disabled. -
Port issue with j2ee engine, http service provider
hi gurus,
on two of our standalone j2ee servers, the j2ee engine is up and running fine. from the mmc everything shows green including messager server.
but when i connect to the j2ee page using browser either from the client machine or on the server it never gives me an error message but the status bar keeps processing. never throws any sort of dispatcher or 500 error messages.
There were some GRC-Virsa components deployed over the weekend not sure if that had changed something.
After intial research the port information in the HTTP service provider showed 80 for http and 443 for ssl (https)so i had manually changed it to 50000 and 50001 from config tool respectively , restarted the server.
After the restart the j2ee page came up and the very second http request it goes to the loop again with no error message, whats the reason behind this sort of behavior. i have made the port changes over the whole cluster and restarted.
surprising it works only for the first time after restart, the very second http request never accepted by dispatcher/server process , no error message though.
environment, nw04s with plain j2ee, windows 2003, sql2008
please assist.
-durgathanks sean for responding, infact the issue is resolved yesterday.
Reason due to insufficient application threads and make sure the right port defined in HTTP service provider. So fixing these two things resolved the issue
Thanks,

I have tried to get rid of an internet service provider named "Cisco" that keeps blocking me from getting on the internet. I have no idea how "Cisco" is doing this. I have only one internet service provider that is Not "Cisco" . "Cisco" keeps coming up on the screen to sign in with a password which of course I do not know and do not want. I went into Safari preference to change the settings and found 2 that I do not want. I thought I had gotten rid of this "link sys" but keeps returning and shows that it is locked. How do I get rid of these in my Safari preferences without a password to them. I only want the one internet service provider that I have to be there and not the other two. Thank you so much.
That is the login into the router itself. Most routers, in order to set them up the first time or after a reset or power fail, have this login procedure. You connect to the router login and configure the settings for your use.
Is this a new router or has it been recently reset in some way? As was written above if the router was provided by your isp then contact them for the setup procedures.
If the router is yours (or someone else's in your household) you need to look at the manual that came with it or go to manufactures website for instructions on how to set it up.

P2P SPA3102 setup with no SIP server/service provider
Description:
- Peer-to-peer ATA connection with no service provider or SIP server
Location A (my location):
- Linksys SPA3102
- PABX analog device (Panasonic)
- Public and static IP
Location B (my partner location):
- D-Link DVG2001S
- Public IP
Questions:
- Can B ATA (D-Link) call to A ATA (Linksys) being different brands?
- Can I pick up the B ATA attached phone and directly to have PABX internal dial tone at A, for other extension or external calls?
- From PABX other extensions, can I call to SPA3102 extension number and directly redirect the call to B ATA?
I was read many .pdf documents about SPA setup, and try differents configuration, but I'cant make the communication with my partner location happens.
I think my problem is understanding and writing the correct PSTN LINE and LINE 1 Dial Plan parameters in my SPA3102.
Can I make it happens?
Thanks in advance,
Bitman
Message Edited by Bitman on 07-28-2007 05:37 AMGood day! I just hope this is not one of those “.pdf documents” that you have already read but basically this should work if you’re setting up two SPA3000 or SPA3102 since they have exactly the same Voice configuration:
http://www.provu.co.uk/pdf/sipura/spa_backtoback_2x_spa3000.pdf
I’m guessing that IP dialing should work on your two units if they both support SIP, however, in this case, I haven’t tried setting up a D-Link before ( or you may try to wait for other users who happen to have a D-link also to post suggestions) , you may just want to try looking for documents on setting up IP dialing on D-link then try to match it’s IP dialing parameters with the SPA. -
How to register a blackberry with the appropriate service provider ?
Hello,
I've just bought a Pearl 8100. I've inserted my SIM card and the phone is working ok. However I can not send or receive any email and can't access the net. When I bought it, I was told to contact my service provider (Orange - UK) to get the phone set up. That's what I did and I was directed to a web site (w3.blackberry.orange.co.uk) where you have first to register as new user by giving your PIN and IMEI. However I haven't been able to complete the task as a message popped up saying that the phone was already registered with a different service provider and that I had to re-register it with the appropriate one. I personnally never registered the phone before but basically that's what I have to do so I need some help because I have no idea how to do that... Thanks....

Apparently i'm not registered... with who?
How can i make my BB pearl work on Virgin media Email account.
Thanks for any help. i'm totally stuck!!
Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
You will need to contact your carrier for assistance. Be sure that you have an adequate service plan from them to enable your access to their BIS. Be sure that they can properly register your BB into their BIS. If you obtained your BB second hand, it is quite possible that the prior owner did not release the PIN from the Orange BIS...in which case your new carrier won't be able to create a BIS account for you on their network. And, typically, only the owner of the account (at Orange) will be able to convince Orange to release the PIN from their BIS...
Good luck!

Registering with BIS from my Service Provider
Hi,
I have just bought a brand new unlocked 8900 Curve and it is working fine (the seal of the box was cut in front of me). I just dont seem to be able to register the phone with the BIS relating to my service provider.
My provider is Optimus in Portugal (http://optimus.blackberry.com/). When i type in the PIN and IMEI it gives an error message saying: "This BlackBerry is registered with a different service provider. Please re-register this BlackBerry and verify the URL matches the one provided by your service provider."
I noticed that inside the box where the phone came in, there was a sticker with a link to what I assume is the BIS link address for the service provider that this phone probably belonged to: KPN - www.kpn.blackberry.com
I also tried to register the phone at this link but it gives the same message......
Can you please let me know what is wrong?
By the way, I still dont have a data plan activated with my Service Provider, Optimus......I have ordered it but its still not up and running.
Do i need this first before i can register my phone at the Optimus BIS?
Thanks.
Solved!
Go to Solution.Until your BIS plan, your BlackBerry Data Plan, is in service, you will not be able to register the device on your carrier network except for voice and text messaging.
KPN is a Netherlands mobile service provider.
Where did you buy the device, not from your Portuguese carrier? How do you know it is unlocked?

Connect cam to mac book with out 1394
How could I connect Dv cam to Macbook with out port 1394 in this computer?
With out port 1394 and PCMCIA! That's very bad.
perevise model of macbook has all this kind of hi speed port.
Why This model has not at least 1 port?
What is your suggest for Hi speed transfer?
Best
AThe new MacBook doesn't have FireWire, only USB. If your camera doesn't have a USB port then you will need to buy a new camera model. Most new ones all support USB 2.0 instead of or in addition to FireWire.
If you needed FireWire support for the camera then you should have purchased the MacBook Pro or the White MacBook model which does have FireWire.
Intel Macs have never had a PCMCIA port. -
SAML 2.0 - Double Authentication with AS ABAP as service provider
Hi All -
We are experiencing an issue which someone may have had.
We are logging on to the AS ABAP system with SAML 2.0, and the nameID is the personnel number, which is in turn our user master ID.
To be clear:
User ID in SAP = PERNR
Personnel Nr = PERNR
Infotype 0105/0001 = PERNR
The Identity Provider system reaches out to Active Directory and gets the personnel number for the logged on user, this is in turn what is presented back to the SAP ECC System. As you can see we have our user ID's created the same as the PERNR, so the infotype 0105/0001 is also set up to be the pernr.
The problem we face is that sometimes the user's personnel number is incorrectly keyed into the Active directory system. In this case the user is logged in to Self-Service with an incorrect user, and this is therefore a data breach. I would like to do some additional validation to address this issue.
I have set break-points in most of the SAML classes, and tried a number of different options, but am running out of ideas. We have also thought about using the email address, but found that not all employees have an email, and so this option was not selected.
Any input here will be appreciated.Ronald -- did you use the SSO product from SAP for this SAML solution? Wondering if this is available out of the box without the SSO license?

Bottom line I'll be without my Mac for at least 2 to 4 weeks it's interservice I like to use iTunes Match on iPad,iPhone, AppleTV is there a work a Round anyone knows about?
iPhoto is not a Photo Viewer. It's a Photo Manager and designed for looking after the files while you organise the Photos. It really works much better if you let it manage those files. If you use iPhoto you never go near those files because iPhoto is your start point for anything you want to do with your Photos - the point of the pplication.
You can run iPhoto in Referenced mode, where it does not copy the files to the Library, but I caution you that you are making life a lot more difficult for yourself by doing that.
How to, and some comments on why you shouldn't, are in this thread

Ok, original iPad Mini, 32 GB, iOS 8.1.2
So, long story short, my iPad Mini's screen is pretty much cracked. I read that I could get a replacement that will be "new or equivalent to new in both performance and reliability." I read that thinking that I'll get the iPad Mini 3 if I hand in my iPad Mini for service. Am I right? If I am, I have one lingering concern: since my iPad Mini is the 32 GB model, which the iPad Mini 3 doesn't come in, does that mean that I'll have to downgrade to 16 GB? Or upgrade to 64 GB? Or maybe I can only get the iPad Mini Retina since that one does have a 32 GB model. Not that it bothers me too much if I get a Retina, or heck, the original (as long as I don't have to downgrade to 16 GB) but it would be nice if someone could clarify this for me before I send the iPad in.
Also, I'm new here, I have no idea where else this post can go.You will get a refurbished iPad Mini, 32GB service replacement unit just like you have now.
