Apps wont close since I installed the latest upgrade

Since I installed the latest update for my phone, I cannot close the apps. As usual, I tap the icon, but it doesn't "wiggle", so I cannot close it. Has anyone else come across this problem.

There's a new way to quit apps that requires less time. Double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Flick up on the page (not the app icon) and the page will fly away and the app icon will disappear. This quits that app.

Ever since I installed the latest upgrade, everything has gone wrong! Crashes, freezes, text warping.

Ever since I upgraded to the newest version, I've had nothing but trouble with my internet. Very frequent crashes. All of a sudden the whole screen will start flashing like the computer is going to explode. Freezes. The video plug in (QuickTime?) crashes, there is a visual warp halfway down my screen that makes the type look funny when I scroll a page. I'm thinking of de-installing Firefox. Can you help?

Not really a voltage concern.But I guess it could if both drives are running at the same time.With IDE, one is limited to two drives in a chain, and these drives cannot work at the same time. In essence, they must "take turns".So by putting 1 HDD as primary master and cd as slave,you will get the full performance of your drive.Most peeps only run CD roms for program installs and or CD burning or copying anways.
As far as the cable,yes there are 80 wire flat cables that work just fine.The only reason to go to the round cables is to improve air-flow and or the length of the cable itself.
I am sure many people use it the old fashion way with no problems.I just experienced a performance issue when I had HDD's on the same chain.It was mainly because I load all my games on my D drive.It also kept defaulting it to PIO mode which is the slowest mode.Since swaping the drives around on the chain(IDE1=HDD-Operating system-primary master and CD burner as Primary slave)(IDE2=HDD-Storage/gaming-secondary master and my DVD rom as secondary slave)Both drives run in UMDA-MODE-5 set up that way with no more problems

Since I installed the latest version of iTunes I cannot sync new downloads to my ipod. Before I installed this version I had two windows when I attached my ipod to my desktop but now there is only one. HELP

Since I installed the latest version of iTunes I have been unable to sync new downloads to my ipod. Prior to this installation I would get 2 windows when I attached my ipod but now there is only one. The software does not recognise the device (I tried running the doagnostic) but I can see it on my desktop. Anyone know what I can do?

I have Roboform Pro, I don't want to down grade to Lite. Roboform is working, but I can't get the full Toolbar to display all that shows up is the Show Toobar icon and nothing happens when I click it. So I can't fill in log on forms. Isn't there a way to get the pro version to work?

I don't have access to Google Images Search since I installed the latest update for https everywhere (today)

I have installed the https everywhere add-on a while ago.
Since I've done this I've never been able to click on images each time I was doing a Google search from their first page of results ("search everything"), but I could still find images by going directly to Google Images search.
Since I installed the latest update for https everywhere this morning, I simply cannot search a single image with Google, which is a problem as I'm a professional art historian.
I get the message"Your search - rembrandt - could not be completed with the requested search options. Reset search tools".
But resetting the search tools don't change anything. I'm working on a Mac, if it helps.

I had the same problem although it was a previous update rather than this one that caused the problem. Just hadn't got round to doing something about it - was using Bing images instead.
I searched for some answers this morning and seemed like most suggestions were a nuisance to try. Couldn't find 'Preferences button of HTTPS-Everywhere' as suggested above. Decided to check if No Script was blocking it. Sure enough. So problem is solved.
Thought I'd put it out there in case it helps someone else. Appreciate that people are so helpful on here.

If that is not the solution then try a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. The screen will go blank and then power ON again in the normal way.] It is app and data safe!

IIS Crashes since I installed the latest updates

Updated Windows 2012 r2 this morning with the latest updates and since the update I can no longer get into IIS. I receive 3 events and IIS then crashes. Can anybody help on how to fix this. Thanks

Logic pro 7 wont open since i installed the pro application support 4.0.2

I done a software update and installed the application support, since this logic will not open at all just unexpectedly quits. i tried reinstalling logic but only works in version 7.1 not 7.2 that i have. makes no sense, dont really want to re-install osx. any ideas?

HT6114 My Outlook keeps forcing me to Quit after opening usually I get 30 seconds then it shuts down. This has only occurred since I installed the latest version of Mavericks 10.9.2, I'm off to the Apple store to see if it can be fixed.

@Bee, there is no update patch from Microsoft since the 10.9.2 OS update. I'm not sure if this will help with the OP's issue but I found a fix for my issue. Just hold down the Option key when launching Outlook. It will launch a Database Utility that backs up the original identity and reloads it. It worked fine after that and all my emails were in tact (thank goodness).

Since I installed the latest update, my computer occasionally tells me it is still logged on whenit is not. I have to restart to clear. How do I fix this.

When I am logged onto to Firefox - I sign off. After a minute or two, I try to log on again - it tells me it is already running (it is not) which I confirm by looking at "all programs" (which does not show it running). The amount of wait between signing off and trying to sign on again does not effect ability to log on. The only way to be able to sign back onto Firefox is to "restart".

I think you are getting your terms mixed up. Logging on/off is when
you access a web page, or starting the computer. Are you trying to
say after shutting down Firefox, it won't restart?
