AR -Auto Lock BOX

We are experiencing issues with our Lockbox and Autocash process. In some cases Autocash will successfully apply multiple invoices paid with one receipt for multiple related customers. Based on our configuration it does not appear that this scenario should ever be successful since our lockbox format does not include a customer number or MICR number and we use Autoassociate for matching based on transaction number. Now my question is,Is there any way that i could apply a single receipt to multiple customers?

Hi Govel, I am wondering if u can assist me with a lockbox issue as u seem to be a heavy user
We are just setting up lockbox, and we have 5 accounts in different currencies - If I link all the accounts to a single payment method, which is then used to create a single lockbox, will I be able to succesfully import my receipts to the 5 accounts OR do I need to set up a Lockbox per account?
Any assistance here will be appreciated -

We currently download paid checks receipts from bank and process them unis lock box process.
Now we are going to get wire payment receipts also in the same file.
If we get paid check receipts and wire payment receipts in one file do we need to make any changes to existing lock box process.
Please let me know if my question is not clear..
It would be great help if somebody can help me on this.

I am trying to import the Receipts from the File provided by the bank and encountering the following problems :
1) I could run the 1st part of the Lockbox..which brings data into the table
AR_PAYMENTS_INTERFACE_ALL.
2) At second stage of running the Lockbox which brings data into interium tables...I am getting problems:
The errors are:
a) Origation Number not defined for Lockbox....but I defined the Lockbox number in the Lockbox form....I dont know why this problem is coming.
b)Could not continue...check for transmission errors.. What is this transimissions errors are ....when I am able to bring data into the interface table then why is it not possible for me to put that into interium tables.
Can anybody suggest some solution to comeover these problems..

I ran into another problem; I'm not sure it's related to my original one:
after the segment#'s caught up, I brought the standby in read-only mode (so I can get some row counts to compare with primary). Then I tried:
alter database recover managed standby database disconnect;
and got the error:
ORA-01093: ALTER DATABASE CLOSE only permitted with no sessions connected
Killed all user processes - to no avail. Do I need to shutdown the standby instance - is there a risk in doing so, or is there a better solution ?

Lock box- payment differences

Dear gurus
We have a request to change the lockbox setup to handle auto write off any short/overpayments per customer invoice of +/- 50$.
So when there is a difference of +/-50$ on the payment file (in the lock box process- statement from bank) SAP should write off the difference to a GL acct automatically.
Please advise where in config, I can make settings and give the acct number, so that differences will written off automatically and how can I test my settings?

Thank you for your reply. I followed your instructions.
But I see that in OBXL there is already a GL acct 499999specified with no reason code.
And this Gl acct is hit if there is any unapplied/on acct payments from lock box.
What we need is , if there is any difference of =/- 50$ it should go to 488888 GLacct.
I tried putting 488888 in OBXL with a reason code(created a new reason code) and tried processing a lockbox file, but after running, I see that the payment difference of +/- 50$ is not being hit to 4888888 acct.
Please advise as what other changes we need in config.

Auto-Lock and Passcode Lock

So even though I'm not the dumbest rock in the box, I cannot for the life of me understand the difference between auto-lock and passcode lock. When I go into settings and then into general, I have set my phone to auto-lock at 5 minutes. I also have set a 4-digit passcode, but I don't understand what the "after 1 minute" setting means. What am I missing? I've read p. 98 of my user's guide over and over, yet I still don't get it. Thanks for any help and for resisting comment on my learning curve.

There is no 5-minute passcode lock. You have them backwards.
Auto-lock (which is more like "sleep") is the one that has the various times you can select. But the screen does "lock," in that you have to swipe your finger across the screen to "unlock" it.
Passcode lock adds the 4-digit code to the process. The time you've specified for Auto-lock (1-5 minutes) still applies. The display will go to "sleep" (i.e., "auto-lock") within that amount of time.
But say you've just put the phone down temporarily -- right in front of you, while you're doing something else -- and you see it go to "sleep." Do you want to have to enter your passcode immediately, or do you want a 1-minute "grace period," giving you the chance to pick up your phone and "wake it up" without having to enter the code? That "grace period" is what "After 1 min." means on the Passcode Lock page.

Reset Password using Recovery HD
Boot into Recovery Partition.
Start the computer,then press and hold down command and R keys to start into recovery partition.
When you see the Apple logo, release the keys.
Wait until OS X Utilities window shows up.
Move the mouse to the menubar at the top and click "Utilities", then select "Terminal"
from the drop down.
Terminal window will appear.
Type in resetpassword and press enter on the keyboard.
Leave the Terminal window open.
Reset Password Utility window will open with Macintosh HD selected.
Select the user account from the popup menu box.
Enter a new password.
Reenter the new password for the user.
Enter a hint.
Click the "Save" button.
Click  in the menubar and select Restart.

IPhone 3G after iOS 4 does not wakes after Lock or auto lock.

I have an iPhone 3G (not S), I upgraded it to iOS 4.0 on Tuesday June 22.
it took around 2-3 hours for the whole process, but it all workd out fine.
Now I have two issues, one major one minor.
Major issue:
Every time I lock my phone, by using the (sleep/wake button), or if the phone gets auto locked, and if I leave it for a minute or so. I cannot wake it up by pressing the Home menu button (the round button in front). The only way to bring it back to life is to hard boot the phone by pressing the sleep/wake button and the Home menu button together for 10 second. This boots the os back to life, takes around 1-2 minutes. While the phone is inactive, if I make a call to it, on the calling side I hear the ring tone, but the phone lies dead like a stone. So no incomingcalls or SMS, while the phone is in this state, and the caller thinks I am not picking it up.
So far I am avoiding problems by not locking the phone at all, but that is eating up my battery.
Minor problem: as many have mentioned earlier also, it has gone too slow. And a substantially short battery life, accompanied by unusual heating.
Tried restoring the phone using iTunes 9.2, I am hitting 1602 error there, so tried restoring in the "Recovery mode", it worked fine, but the problems persists.
Another thing I noticed was that I can never switch off the phone too.
Every time I press and hold the sleep/wake button and initiate the Power off mode, either of the two things happen.
1) The circular star loading animation starts, gets stuck a some point, and suddenly the phone boots back to life after some time.
2) The circular star animation continues, for hours, untill the phone runs out of battery and dies out itself.
So far I have'nt seen a clean shut down after the upgrade.

Lock Box - item not getting cleared

Hi,
I m testing the lockbox process with the lock box file available online.
I could be able to import the file and document got created. But i have some doubts, please try to reply for the same.
1) payment advice got generated but the customer open item is still not cleared? do we need to process that further? the check status is applied and G/L document got posted.
2) I think we can also process lock box posting through Idoc, what is the process flow? would you pease eloberate on this IDOC process for lockbox.
3) I am not able to understand the posting done (without clearing the customer open item). Both debit and credit posted to a bank account. would you please eloberate the posting done while lockbox processing?
Please let me know if more information required.

If you are able to load the lockbox file then customer items shall be cleared. Please check the posting rule config and clearing accounts maintained for lockbox.

JQuery animate not working in Safari after auto lock on IOS 8.2

Hi Guys,
We are developing a browser-based video platform which makes use of jQuery's .animate function and am encountering some problems. The animate function is used to simulate inertia when dragging buttons around. This all works perfectly, until the iPad auto-locks after 2 minutes. Once the iPad is unlocked, all inertia is gone. there's no error that I can see, the animate just doesn't work. Refreshing the page doesn't restore functionality, neither does re-entering the address manually into the address bar or navigating to the apps page and back. The only way to restore functionality is to double-tap the iPad's Home button to bring up the apps menu and swipe Safari up to close it.
'It's the code' I hear you cry. Well, I have 2 iPads for testing. One is an iPad 3, the other is a brand new iPad air. Both are on IOS 8.2. The old iPad works perfectly all the time in the exact same condition when the iPad air fails. I've also tried factory resetting the iPad air to try to resolve this but without success.
I've also done a lot of research into this and have seen the posts on stackoverflow saying a few people have resolved the issue with the upgrade from 8.1 -> 8.11 (I also had this issue on 8.1, the version that came with the iPad). Alas I still have it on 8.2.
Also, before anyone tells me to use CSS3 transitions, I use this on other platforms which work perfectly and do not support CSS3.

Ok, so after managing to reproduce this error on my old iPad I think I have it sussed. It's not the iPad's fault entirely. It seems that when you lock the iPad is can mess with the timestamps on events. Even after the app is reopened the timestamp seems to think that its back when it was locked. I've worked around this and used getTimestamp. Seems a few other people have seen this as well.
Hopefully anyone in the same boat will see this. Thanks to anyone who read it.

- Try a reset. Nothing is lost:
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
- Connect the iPod to your computer and try to restore via iTunes. Try placing in Recovery mode if necessary to restore.
- If you can't turn the iPod completely off, let the batter fully drain. After charging for at lerast anhour try again
- If still not successful time for an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Just trying to get help in auto lock it is not an options for (never) on 4s or new i pad 2 both are a mirror of each other it seems I have had problems with this phone from day 1 all up dates have been installed. Calling the support line is good if you get someone that is advance and that is not worried about there call time which I may have to do however I do know that this site is great help any help will be appreciated. This is my husband phone and I pad we purchased both phones @ the same time I have his older I pad he was given a new one for work which is the latest HELP please thanks. Other than supplying the desktop "theme" (if you can call a complete lack of style along with a fair bit of inconsistency a "theme"), the OS really shouldn't be causing you to have a washed-out desktop experience. That's more a
matter of your display driver not really doing its job. What video card do you have?
FYI, one of the reasons I like Aero Glass for Win 8.1 (a 3rd party package) is that it allows me to make the desktop more pleasant to use and helps set the client areas (i.e., where work gets done) apart from the window chrome.
From what I can see, the color-management logic in Windows 8.1 is essentially unchanged from what it was in Windows 7. That there has been NO progress in this area is really a disappointment. It's an area where Microsoft has again just stopped
trying to make improvements.
If it's at all interesting to you, here's a screen grab of a REALLY cluttered up desktop. I don't normally work this way; this was an exercise to see how much I could get running. I finally gave up starting more stuff as I grew tired
and it just kept working fine...

This sorted it for me:
Backup your iPhone to iCloud (I believe backing up to iTunes will work too). Now go to "Settings --> General --> Reset --> Erase All Content and Settings" to completely restore your iPhone to factory settings. Assuming you've backed up to iCloud, you'll be asked when setting up your iPhone if you want to restore from an iCloud backup. Choose that option and once your iPhone has restored itself from your backup, this annoying problem will finally be gone! (was for me anyway).
To restore from an iTunes backup, connect your iPhone to your computer, load iTunes. Click the File menu and select Devices > Restore from Back up.

I have tried the mystical swiping upward on the screen with 4 fingers to get some special sound menu (which I never succeeded in getting). My headphone jack doesn't work all the time either so some times my kids can hear their games and sometimes they can't. I am super frustrated at this point. So any suggestions would be great. Am I missing something basic or do we just have a soundless iPad now?
