ARDEXITPGM: Message and meaning ????
I am using oracle Access Manager (a product from oracle) on AS400 to connect to oracle server. I have a batch program which connects to the oracle server. If this batch program is idle for sometime and then if a trigger activates it again it gives me an error like this:
ARDUPAR: ARDUPAR: rc=-1(OCI_ERROR) from OCIStmtExecute when asking for

ARDUPAR(1): ORA-03135: connection lost contact
ARDARXBD(XD): rc = -1 when parsing
SQLSTATE class unknown - SQLSTATE 72000, SQLCODE -969.
What I did to overcome this is I put some more SQL commands in to check and now doing a disconnect and a connect again in my program, which works great and gives me these message right after the above messages.
Successfully disconnected from server HJAWCD1
Connected to server HJAWCD1 running ORACLE Version 10.2.0.3.0.
ARDEXITPGM: transaction_state should be IN_TRANSACTION or UOW_CHANGED but was NO_TRANSACTION
My question is regarding the last message coming out as ARDEXITPGM as to what it means.
Can anyone guess and let me know what that means in ORACLE.

The first error (ORA-03135: connection lost contact) seems to indicate that you have resource profiles active at Oracle that disconnect a session that has been idle. Indeed the proper response to this error is to disconnect and (re)connect.
However the "ARDEXITPGM: transaction_state should be IN_TRANSACTION or UOW_CHANGED but was NO_TRANSACTION" does seems to be an informational message. By default ARDEXITPGM is called when Access Manager session is ended and is related to the DISCONNECT action, because the session has broken and ARDEXITPGM tries to perform a ROLLBACK but found no active transaction and reports this.
I hope that explains this message.

If the phone was NOT unlocked, it can't work or be activated with any other carrier than AT&T. It CAN'T be used with Tigo or Movistar.

I use BT yahoo mail with Thunderbird 24.6.0 in the last few days i've started getting this message when sending messages:
An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Too many messages. Please check the message and try again.
Now sometimes the messages are sent anyway and sometimes not. If I re-send sometimes it works and sometimes not. I've contacted BT 'tech support' who tell me there is nothing wrong with them or their servers and as webmail works ok they won't help. I strongly suspect it IS a BT issue, Any clues to fix this?The message means BT are lying basically. I have just spent the best part of an hour on chasing what limits BT place on mail sending... the internet contains a void.
The closest thing I can locate is a BT rep here https://community.bt.com/t5/Email/E-Mail-message-limit/m-p/1045228/highlight/true#M17523 refusing to identify what limits they impose but advising their switch to critical path has more stringent controls. AFAIK Critical path is ca mail software solution sold by OpenWave Messaging http://owmessaging.com/

I have been trying for weeks to download update 10.7.5 and cannot do so. I do get a message at the end - "connection reset by peer". Can anyone shed any light on why I cannot download this update and what the message may mean? Thanks.

Side note.
com.apple.iChat.StatusMessages.plist only holds the default and Saved Status Messages.
Deleting it does not effect the running of the app.
Deleting com.apple.ichat.plist first can be the most invasive as you have to reset any Preferences (and some Menu items) that you have changed from defaults
If the person only has an iMessages account deleting the com.apple.imservice.imessages.plist (holds the iMessages ID in Mountain Lion) maybe enough
The account info is held elsewhere but this is read by com.apple.IMAgent.plist to login.
Next try the com.apple.imagent.pist one
As above All the accounts info is held elsewhere but this one is actually handling the logins.
It is of course doing all of then in Messages and FaceTime so it is not a first choice.
Deleting com.apple.imessage.bag.plist can be useful as this has info on the Server your version of Messages is using.
I would delete this along with com.apple.imservice.imessages.plist on a second attempt.

[4/15/14 edit #3] I posted the requested troubleshooting information and made a backup of Profiles using MozBackup, so my remaining problem is the presence of two Inboxes, both receiving messages, and my not being sure which one can safely be deleted nor how to safely delete it.
[4/14/14 edit #2] T'bird's Help taught me where my "Profiles" are stored but I found I had no backup of them. However, I now discover that I have TWO Inboxes - hadn't noticed that quirk before. Thankfully, one of them still contains all of my old messages! The Inbox that still has all of my old mail is listed as a subfolder under "Local Folders" and the Inbox that I thought was my only Inbox is listed as a subfolder under the top folder whose name is my email address. Both Inboxes are now retrieving my new mail. Does this mean I have somehow created two accounts? If so, how do I get rid of the account that uses the Inbox that does not have all my old mail in it? I don't want to get rid of the wrong account but I suspect the "right" one should be listed under my email address, not under "Local Folders". If anyone understands this mess that I've created, I'd really appreciate some advice so I don't make things worse. At least I've now learned what it is that I need to back up.
[4/14/14 edit #1] Following is a major update of the problem I described before (see below). I disabled the Mail Shield portion of my Free Avast antivirus software and discovered that TB was again able to retrieve my email. Then I re-enabled Avast to see if it blocked TB again. It did not. So, apparently simply turning Avast's Mail Shield off and then back on again seems to have fixed the problem. However, I'm now left with the consequences of my having tried to "reset" TB as I described below, namely the loss of a very large number of emails that were stored in my Inbox. So the remaining problem I'd like help with is how to recover those seemingly lost emails. If they remain on my hard drive, where did TB store them and what specific files should I look for? I do have a backup of some of my hard drive (but nothing under Program Files), but I need to know how to identify them, where to look, and how to get them back into my Inbox without deleting its current contents. I'd really like to also retain their original dates, if possible. I'm running 64-bit Windows 8.1. [end of 4/14/14 edit]
TB suddenly stopped downloading my mail today. After I click Get Mail, I can see at the bottom of the screen a very rapid succession of messages; first the "connected..." message, then "checking...", then "downloading 1 of 10...", then finally, "No messages to download" after downloading absolutely none of them. I also noticed that my list of mailboxes was missing the very first entry that showed my email address as the account name. Figuring something major must have been changed in my account configuration, I went through all the settings but saw no problems. Finally, I decided to try to re-establish my same account. That did place my email address again back at the top of the mailbox listings as my working account name but it also created a worse problem. There were now no messages in my inbox, I suppose because I must have created a new account using the same name as the old one, whereas before there were thousands of messages that I had saved for many years (since this is a business). Then when I clicked Get Mail, TB downloaded 383 messages that had not yet been deleted from the server, giving then all today's date (another loss since their original dates were important). But after it finished downloading all of them, clicking Get Mail still does not retrieve any messages past the time that it stopped retrieving them earlier today. Those newest messages remain on the server - but now there are 14 of them instead of 10. The same succession of TB messages appears at the bottom of the screen, but now it says "Downloading 1 of 14..." but still downloads none of them and ends with, "No messages to download". This sequence of messages will repeat as often as I try to retrieve mail but it can still count how many it is NOT downloading. Two questions: (1) Are the thousands of messages that were stored in my Inbox still stored somewhere on my computer and is there any way to recover them? (2) How can I get TB to start retrieving my current email again? I guess it's obvious that these are important problems to me and that I'm totally stumped. Many thanks in advance.Sorry. How to store the value of request message and use it in Response mapping

In Mapping you may use the RFC Lookup function to store values in database table during request mapping and to read values from database table during response mapping.
You can also use an ABAP or Java Mapping "in front of your" message mapping to store/read the values.
You can also use an Adapter Module (if applicable for the adapter type you use) and/or a UDF to store the data e.g. in Dynmaic Configuration Header of Request Message and to read these data from Dynamic Configuration Header of Response Message. But this works only for synchronous scenarios (and it means overhead in your message traffic).
Hope these thinkings help you o find the most suitable way for your concrete scenario!

There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on seven different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary from version to version and OS to OS. So before anyone can help, they need information to work with. Basic stuff:
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. What were you doing when the problem arose?
- Did it ever work properly?
- Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
Anything else you can think of that might allow someone else to understand your issue.
With this kind of information somebody can develop a starting point for troubleshooting the issue.

I am working on some books that I have had no problem creating in Indesign and this week, I was doing something and got an error message and had the program crash while I was working on something and lose my unsaved work. It happens all of a sudden and has been frustrating. Thought it was an installation issue, but this also happens on the newest version of CS6.
The original files (“books”) were created in CS4.
What I’m doing is copying a template for the appendix that was established in the first book into all subsequent books.
Here is the process that I used on CS4 for the first 10 books –
1. open a file that already has the completed new appendix.
2. Open a file that needs the new appendix
3. Select the appendix pages from the pages menu in the completed file and “move” them to the new file.
4. Voila!
When I started using CS5 this worked for one book. Now the last book is giving me an error message during step 3. So, I select the pages I want to move and click “move” and then I get a message that says “the program has unexpectedly stopped working and will close”. This is the same message I got with CS6.Same problem here. Firefox keeps freezing, sometimes for 5 minutes, then either starts working again really slowly or I get the plug-in error crash. This last time I copied what windows said about the error. This is the info:

We were told this was fixed with 10G so we upgraded to 10G. We have a
report and we want it to execute if it's less than 10 records if not we want a
message to come up that the report needs to be scheduled.
Well we run the report and it displays exceeded record count but the format
still runs so no time saved on the web.
If the record count was exceeded we want to HALT the system and not go any
farther.
Now if we could modify the system message 1825 we would be o.k. But we don't
know if that is going to work. If we could change the message we would be
o.k. with that. that would mean changing the system codes though.
### How is the Report being called (Command line, URL or via Oracle Forms): ###
If false comes back in the beginning then we don't want any report formatting
to be done. Right now the format is done it seems but no data is displayed
because criteria isn't met.
So we dont wnat the formatting to be run when criteria isn't met. But for
some
reason it still runs and takes time.
See we have some reports on the web that can only be ran by date range right
now the clients can only run the reports for a 6 months range.. Well some
clients have a lot smaller record count. So we want to change the way the
reports are ran to a records count. If the count is large than said amount
then a message comes up that states the report has to be scheduled. If the
amount is under said amount then the report runs.
So at this time in the report we do a count then we move onto will the report
run or not if over the amount we want to abort the process but we don't want
the client to see the abort. We definately don't want the client to sit and
wait for the format to run when NO Data is to be returned.

So what we want is too see a message "Schedule the report count exceeded" and
NO formatting done. If under amount we want the report to run.

Or is there a way to customize the messages the client / users will see. And

As talked to you on phone, here are the steps for you to try.
The below has been run as a test case using emp table in scott schema of a database
1) create a summary coloumn say cs_1 in the data model.
2) point the function to count.
3) Point the source to what ever's count you want it to be pointed to(say empno of emp table of
scott schema)
4) create a user parameter say NO_ROWS
5) in its property palette make its data type number and initial value as 1
6) I had teh following query for my report:
select empno, ename from emp
where rownum <= :no_rows
This means that the report that will be generated will consist of a total no of NO_ROWS(that we
shall be specifying at run time). The before report trigger(mentioned in 7 below) shall assure
that whenever we specify NO_ROWS greater than 5 then the report will display a customized pop up
message.
7) create a before report trigger as:

This way when u run a report, an argument is asked whether how many rows do you want to be
displayed as in the parameter NO_ROWS. then you specify the number. If that number is greater
than 5(in this case, due to if :cs_1 > 5 then....) then it will pop up a message saying "Data is
more please schedule this report:"
In case you do not want to specify NO_ROWS..then you need not put that and modify the report
query as "select empno, empname from emp;" i.e. without where clause.

I tried this step by step, but unfortunately, it doesn't work the way we want.
First with this suggestion, the user needs to choose how many records they
want
to get, or we default a number of records, in order to run the report. The most
important thing is, whenever you specify the statement return false or raise
SRW.PROGRAM_ABORT in the before report trigger, the system message will pop up.
I really hope that people from Oracle would let us know how to customize the
system message or hide it.

The some sort of message looks like this on dev box:

It's just a thought, not sure if it's going to work.

We cannot modify the system messages nor do I think there is a method to hide the system message. The message that was coming is
due to the raise srw.program_abort command, which is the element through which
we can abort the program.

nternally. Still if you wish you may refer to the otn discussion forum which is

AT&T family plan - 4 iPhones in use by family members (4s, 4g, and two 3g's). Weird things happen when we text message:
1. Sometimes, received messages look like they are sent messages - and no alert is sounded. The conversation looks like you are talking to yourself. Sometimes it happens to both parties in a text conversation, sometimes it only happens to one party. Deleting the message entirely and starting over from scratch sometimes fixes the problems and sometimes doesn't fix the problem. Once this phenomenon starts in a conversation it is almost impossible to get it to stop.
2. Sometimes text messages to a specific family member get replicated to other family members as if in a group conversation - but group is turned off. This happens sporadically but it happens. Quite embarassing when husband and wife are sending private messages then suddenly the kids see the message on their iPhones! Can't figure out why this happens or what makes it happen, but happens a lot!!!
Has anyone had these problems or knows how to fix them?Be specific.

One of my external hard drives died. I had several iPhoto libraries in it. Fortunately, I used Time Machine to backup to a Time Capsule and I can see all the iPhoto library icons in Backups.
When restoring the first iPhoto library, after three hours, I got an "unexpected error" message and the operation could not be completed. Indeed, the restored library is smaller than the library in Backups. Is my best choice to try again and replace the restored library (which apparently must be missing some photos)? You might also like to load the widget in Time Machine so you get whatever the full error message is..
I cannot find any reference to the error code you are getting..
My recommendation would be to try it on a different computer.. restore the whole backup to an external drive large enough to accept the whole backup.

How long should I let Safe Mode startup run? I keep getting the "disk0s2 i/o error" message and I'm just not sure when to give up and try a different method. I already ran disk utility in Recovery Mode and it said there were no repairs needed but it still kept getting stuck on the apple loading screen.
You have limited opportunity to attempt to create a backup of your created files.
That is what the SafeBoot or safemode appears to allow you -- at the moment.
Since the hard disk drive exhibits signs of failure or other major issues, plan
on a replacement in the near future. You may be able to get the computer to
start up in a regular full OS X (not safe mode) but consider its hours are limited.
An externally enclosed hard disk drive (with own power supply, not relying on
Mac ports to run it) is a good basic means of which to use a disk utility to make
a copy or a Clone of the current OS X. This may help retrieve an archive that
could be used along with a Time Machine backup, to restore your Mac once you
get a new hard drive installed inside.
