Aria on backorder?​???

   I ordered the Aria last night and received a notification this morning it is on backorder and will take 1-2 weeks before it is expected to be shipped.  I am wondering why, as I have read a few moments ago some orders have been on backorder for well over a week, did they not state it was backordered on their site?  Most of the time companies will state an item is backordered, at least as a note or 'low quantities' on their sites.  
   I have been looking for a reasonable and affordable upgrade opportunity on this phone, and Best Buy has it......HANDS DOWN!!!  I have been with AT&T for a few years now and they were even wanting to charge me $129 for the Aria, and that was AFTER the 'rebate'.  In my last conversation with one of the AT&T reps, I asked if they could match the Best Buy offer, and he said "No. That is an incredible deal and you shouldn't pass it up".  So, because of my fixed-income situation, I have ordered and upgraded through Best Buy. 
Honestly, after reading so much negativity about Best Buy and their Customer Service in these forums, I would LOVE to post something positive and encouraging to others about my online transaction.  Does anyone have a more accurate estimate on the availability and release of the Aria?   

I can understand if a product is on backorder, I truly can.  I can also understand when a product has been discontinued....technology advances, and new product fine-tuning, etc.....  The problem I have is when someone is 'trying' to sell me a backordered product AND it's discontinued.  If a product is discontinued, they are NOT making it anymore.  When a product is backordered, usually the company is waiting for an order they have placed with the supplier or manufacturer to be fulfilled.  If they are discontinued, and not manufacturing them anymore, how can they be fulfilled?

    First be more clear about Aria Application. As Aria, is been related to an hrms part of an organization carrying the people infomation and it has some separate features too.
    But in your prespective i couldnt able to understand what do you want to do with that packeged application.
    Since you want to customize the aria application according to your organization needs means, First collect all your necessary organization information that is needed(like tables etc.). Then substitute those (i.e) your organization tables in the appropriate places in the form of query.
    Please dont use the same Aria people table, as the Oracle may framed according to their employee information. Nearly Aria application has 200 supporting objects. If you want to use the same objects means whether u r going to creating nearly 200 supporting objects..It is not worth at all.
    Please be more clear in your requirement that, what you are doing, and then raise the question. Be more prepared with your tables along with datas, and let give your reply once you were been prepared with your organization details table.

  • Exporting to Excel from Aria People Search

    Is it possible to export to Excel from Aria People Search.
    I would like to output the Org Chart (built in) and the Tree (I created) to an Excel file.
    Does anyone know how to do this?

    Hi,
    If you are using 10g, then OLE2 is supported. However, it will be executed in the App Server Machine.
    If you want to do the operation in the Client machine (as how it was done in the Client / Server), you need to use Client_OLE (Which is part of WebUtil).

  • Problem with Aris and Solution Manager

    Hi,
    I'm trying to synchronize Aris and SAP Solution Manager.
    I'm doing installation and configuration following Administration Guide
    chap. 7 from Aris for Netweaver guide, but, I have a problem when I
    try to transfer projects from Aris to SolMan.
    In the main ARIS menu from ARIS Business Architecture for SAP NetWeaver>
    Aris Network>LOCAL>Synchronization>Maingroup, a SAPLogon screen appears
    to logon to SolMan system, ask for Client, User and PWD.
    I put the same user/pwd that I use to logon to SolMan, but ARIS cannot
    connect to, an error message appears "User or password incorrect".
    Does anyone have idea about this problem??

    Any item that have an open PO in the system for xx, yy & zz are coming up as backorder on the reports. Not all on order items are actually on backorder. Could you please advice what steps we need to do.

  • Backorder qty on sales order

    Hi
    When doing a sales order for item A, Qty = 100 (In stock = 90, Available = 90), the open qty (rdr1.OpenCreQty) on the sales order line = 100. In previous versions (if my memory serves me correctly) the open qty should be 10).
    Only when copying the sales order to an invoice, does the open qty on the sales order change to 10. Therefore when running the backorder report it also shows 100 on backorder and will only show the correct backorder qty once the order is invoiced.
    Did something change or is this a bug as I suspect.
    Client is on 2007A PL35.

    We found a problem with our backorder report. This report should pull items that have 0 available quantity with a purchase order date. However, this item do not have any available stock. It should show up on the report. Pleae suggest me if any thing wrong.

    I went through several threads on backorder but couldn't find answers to my query.  Kindly help.  Thanks.
    - Are there any alternative to doing backorder processing ?
    - Can backorder processing be automated ?  How ?  What transaction ?
    - An MTO sales order is seen on MD04 but not seen in backorder processing (I think CO06) – so what could be the reasons ?
    - I believe SAP recommends one report to be run regularly to delete old/open sales orders – what is that and why it needs to be run ?  Does it have any affect on backorder processing ?

    Hi Chetan,
      Back orders are generally updated with the help of transaction V_V2.
      Let's say that you were supposed to deliver one order on 25.06.2007 but the delivery has not been created yet.
      Then V_V2 would determine the new schedule line date for this particular order along with the quantity which can be delivered on that particular date.
      You can automate the process by just putting the transaction V_V2 for background scheduling.This background scheduling can be done with the help of transaction SM36.

  • SALES ORDER LINE IS CANCELLED BUT DELIVERY DETAIL IS SHOING AS BACKORDERED

    SALES ORDER LINE IS CANCELLED BUT still the DELIVERY DETAIL IS showing as BACKORDERED it should be in cancelled
    status.The Sales order (only one ex:3904854) is cancelled , however order in shipping transactions screen indicates order is on backorder.
    at that time of order cancellation the line level workflow error out due to the Workflow package is inactive .
    I tried to resubmit the error out workflow using retry option from the responsibility “Workflow Administrator” the workflow is completed with forcible option but still the delivery detail is in back order status not changing it to cancel status.
    Error Name :-4068 [Error Process Error: WF Error Message: ORA-04068: existing state of packages has been discarded  
              ORA-04061: existing state of package body "APPS.XRX_SUPPLIES_NEW_WF_PKG" has been invalidated

    You need a simple script to get the status corrected. Log an SR or search metalink for the script. I am sure there is one out there (if you search with the orphan reservations). This script supported, but not exactly targeted at your problem But it will solve it. You can log an SR and confirm.

  • How to delete backorder lines?

    hi experts,
    i cancelled one sales order, this salesorder has 3 lines and i cancelled line by line and it came up at the end "order status = close" "lines status =cancelled"  but one line stays in backorder that should not be stay there coz it has been cancelled. how delete that line in the backorder. i try to pick realease it and there nothing happen. just warning message that i cannot.

    Do you have access to Oracle Support?  If you enter a Service Request, they will provide the correct code to make sure everything is updated correctly - the delivery and everything else that is dependent on that.  Updating on your own can be risky cause you may miss something that needed to be corrected.

  • OM: Sales order lines are cancelled automatically without backordering.

    Intercompany sales orders lines are being cancelled automatically on the delivery when a split line is shipped with a quantity of one remaining. This line should remain backordered. A quantity of 61 was entered and 60 was shipped and 1 remaining. This 1 should have been backordered but no new line was automatically generated and infact when I view the Additional information I can see that the quantity 1 is cancelled. The profile option OM: Under Shipment Tolerance is set to .5

    You can cross check by running the AUDIT HISTORY REPORT in Order Management, which gives the in depth details of the sales order amendments.

  • Scheduling Agreement - Backorder

    Hi Gurus,
    Please suggest if back order concept has relevance with respect to scheduling agreement.  We use Scheduling agreement and the configurations are set that system does backward scheduling only and always the system confirms the schedule lines(VBUP-BESTA = C). We have a unique situation where assuming our stock position is 100 and for part1, customer 1 a scheduling agreement is confirmed for 90 qty with schedule line having future date.  Again customer 2 also placed an order for part 1 with current date.  Schedule lines are confirmed but when i try to create delivery, delivery quantity shows up 0 as 90 qty is reserved against customer 1.   Customer 2 is a priority customer and ideally this is a case of back orders.  But when i try to run V_V2 to change the confirmations based on delivery priority, system does not pick up these scheduling agreements at all.  I checked the program related to V_V2 and i see that it picks up entry with VBUP-BESTA NE C ( unconfirmed orders )only.
    Please suggest if backorder can help in caseof scheduling agreements where confirmed quantities are always C.

  • How to find out the exact reason for backordered order in oracle apps R12

    Hi,    
         I am new to OM module.I booked an order and trying to do "pick release" the booked order but i couldn't do so, because the order is getting backordered.
    These are the things i checked
    1.On-hand quantity for the particular item i am booking is sufficient enough
    2.Item is in M1 org and onhand quantity is also in same org.
    Can you please help me how to find the exact reason for my order getting backordered.

  • Backorder processing in Scheduling agreement

    When user creating scheduling agreement with delivery dates,qtty will not be confirmed.
    as there is no stock. once company get the requirement, company starts production,after production-same will be informed to the stores department. Then they post the stock for that material. This will be informed to the user by mail.
    But in scheduling agreement, qtty will not be confirmed , until user did the changes in "Re-scheduling/Backorder processing" - it consumes time for the user.
    as daily there will be "N" no.of agreements will be there. User cant do it manually for each and every agreement.
    Is there any prog, whenever stores post the stock for particular material, automatically system should confirm the stock for those agreements?

    Is there any tcode, in which we can run for the specific agreements based on the delivery date, so that stock will be confirmed?
