Hola Comunidad!
Necesito asignar/renovar/administrar uniformes de trabajo, ropa de taller en base a la movilidad del personal en la empresa. Existe algún infotipo que me ayude hacerlo?

Yo tengo el mismo problema, tambien necesito que el personal informe de las tallas de sus prendas de uniformidad y no he encontrado ningun infotipo estandard. Me estoy planteando hacer un desarrollo para gestionar los uniformes de los empleados

Utilizo los perfiles de comprobación de Acrobat para iniciar algunas acciones con el asistente de acciones de Acrobat, pero en alguna acción los objetos que sobrepasan el limite de sangrado no funcionan del todo bien.
Quisiera poder alertar mediante la detección en un perfil de comprobación, de aquellos objetos que sobrepasan el límite de la sangre (atención, que sobrepasan, no que estan completamente fuera).

Lo primero efectivamente es que no tuvieran InDesign instalado (sospecho por cierto que no seran copias legales, pues dado su coste, superior al de InCopy, por qué lo tienen tambien instalado, o es que le sobra el dinero a la empresa?)
Lo segundo es que supieran lo que deben (y lo que no deben aunque puedan o sepan) cambiar o editar, no hay ninguna regla, o alguien que les diga que NO pueden hacer? En muchas revistas les ponen por ejemplo límites para variar el tracking en un 2%, y ay! del que se lo salte sin permiso!
Aparte de esto la gente de sistemas puede cambiar las propiedades a sólo lectura o pedir contraseñas para entrar a carpetas donde estén los archivos InDesign.
Centrandonos en el flujo de trabajo de InCopy con InDesign en el servidor compartido entre redaccion y maquetación deben estar los archivos de contenidos de InCopy y las asignaciones, por lo que no podrían acceder a los archivos InDesign, que no deben estar, repito, en ese mismo servidor o en las mismas carpetas que los incx o los icml de IDCS4 y las asignaciones.

Borders are not uniform when viewing the report on web

Hi,
In my report there is a repeating frame running across with one field.
Field does not have border but set to Fixed width and fixed height.
Repeating frame has border with Horizontal elasticity is Variable.
When I preview the report in reports builder it looks ok. But when I view it on the web (IE) the field borders are not uniform. Some cells have thicker border width than the border width I set.
Like this:

Does anyone know how to fix this? Please let me know. I have spent a lot of time changing settings of field and frame but did not work.

How do I get text to align and look uniform? This shouldn't be as hard as I am making it!

Basically, I am trying to get the heading centered and the text aligned left....or at least aligned uniformly here. Unfortunately, for some reason I am unable to just mess with it in "design" as I usually do. The design page is blank and I can only make changes on the HTML side, which I know little about. I have attached the html for this page below. I know it's a ton to ask, but if someone would be willing to look through it and see what may be wrong or what I need to add, I would appreciate it so much.

The single largest determinant of a goofy layout is the use of invalid code. The first place to start debugging a layout is the W3 validator. Check the code that you posted earlier at this site -

When I do that, I get 47 errors and 1 warning. In addition to the many syntax errors (this page has a STRICT XHTML doctype!) of XHTML, which probably have no effect on layout, there are others that probably have a significant effect:

It makes no sense trying to troubleshoot layout problems with this many instances of broken code. That was really what Nancy's post was getting at.
Fix that code first and then we can work on the layout.

When duplicating a field, even when the original field is locked, the duplicated fields appear at different positions on pages that are the same size. How do I make them uniform?

I'm trying to put a hidden time stamp field on the bottom of all pages of a thousand page document, yet when I duplicate the field, the reproduced fields appear at different positions on different pages. Is there a way to make them all appear uniformly on each page. I've tried using the Lock function in the Properties menu before duplicating but to no avail. Please help.

I go to Tools>Forms> Edit...Do you want to detect...No. Add New Field>Text Field. I lay out my field at the bottom of the page, adjust the Properties (Hidden but printable, read only, font, alignment), Lock the Properties. Then I right-click and hit Duplicate.

Best practice for compressing images to uniform size?

What would be an effective method of compressing all the images (JPEG) used by an application to a uniform contentLength?
Initial thought is to generate a new copy using processCopy with successively smaller integer values for compressionQuality (in steps of 5 or 10 say) until a result smaller than the target length is achieved, then replace the original with the first suitable copy.

contentLength is decided by many factors such as height, width, compressionQuality.
If all images have same height and width, changing compressionQuality will help to get expected contentLength. But be care when using too small compressionQuality, which may make image quality poor.
Another way to have uniform contentLength is using TIFF format with NONE compression.

IPhone 4: display has dark spot, brightness is not uniform

Hi!
I'm Hector from Italy.
My new iPhone 4 just arrived from the Apple Online Store. It works fine but the top left of the screen has a darker spot; such non-uniform brightness becomes very evident when opening, for instance, Safari (that has a white background).
Should I send it back to Apple?
Or is this a known software issue?
If I go to Milan's Apple Store will they swap it? I would rather not stay without iPhone since all the phones I have at home have a standard SIM and not the microsim.
(without considering that after spending 800€ I really hoped to get a quality product)

IF it is rfc destination, then check the user.
This problem is related to user rights. The user used there might not have sufficient authorizations to invoke the proxy. (may be the authorization is expired)

Viewing a PDF document with uniform page sizes:

As part of our month end reporting, the members of our team PDF several Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents and someone combines them into one PDF document using Adobe Acrobat X Standard. The combined document is sent to the Board of Directors. We are finding that while the document prints fine, when we/the Board are viewing it on our laptops, ipads, etc. some pages fit one full page to a window, while others are too big and some are tiny. I know that when I am viewing it I can click the ‘fit one full page to window’ icon, but I can’t seem to save it like this so that the Board can also view it like this. Is there a way to achieve this uniformity by adjusting certain settings at the time of PDFing the individual Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents or at the time we are combining? Any help would be sincerely appreciated.

The program I use to create the TIF files (OpenText's eDOCS Imaging) does not make PDFs, it makes TIFs (and TIFFs). To then convert this, if I try to do it through Adobe directly, I get an error which prompts me to open it in the native program and to choose print and then select the adobe printer.
This works perfect if every page is the same size, but many times my documents have many different page sizes as well as portrait and landscape within the same document (but that is a separate option).
Doesn't Adobe have a "use the original page size / orientation" as an option when creating PDFs from existing documents?

How to set a uniform display size of multiple intermedia image types - wher

I have read "If you want to limit the size of the file that can be uploaded, you can do this as a post generation

This does not address how to limit the *** display size *** where you have multiple intermedia image types - where the original size is not uniform.
If an image is uploaded where the true image display size is 1024 x 768 - it will display that way in the table/table-form. This will create un-even display size's where previous images sizes where different 384 x 384 and so on.
Is there a way to encode the display size so that *** ALL *** images regardless of their true size are displayed uniformly at least on one dimension (64 x ???)? This is possible when using products such as Dreamweaver or Flash.
BTW - JHS/***JDev*** synergy is truely magnificient!!! Way-To-Go Oracle!!!!!!!!!!! Keep it up!!!!

I did some tests, and was able to reproduce it. The problem is that JHeadstart distinguishes between display types fileDownload and image, but UIX uses the same <media> tag to handle both display types. It will look at runtime whether it must render a hyperlink to download the document, or to render it right away as an image.
To get all images the same size, you can set the display width and height, AND the display type must be set to image.
However, to get the file name used as download link, you must set the FileName attribute AND the display type must be set to "fileDownload" ..
So, to solve your problem, it is easiest to set the displayType to "fileDownload" and set the width and height properties post-generation in the generated UIX page.
In the next release of Jheadstart, we will fix this, and always pick up width, height and fileName settings regardless of the display type.
Note that you should also set the FileName property against the attribute you are using to upload the file.

If you want to avoid use of the Path Service, then the alternative is to make the destination members highly available. This will help ensure that the host member for a particular UOO is up.

Exchange 2010 OWA : TMG Error 12302 The server denied the specified Uniform Resource Locator (URL).

Hello All,
We are using TMG2010 (SP2, rollup4) for publishing Exchange 2010 OWA sites. The issue is that after every 10-24 hrs , the TMG server stops logging in OWA sites and start giving below error. Then we have to restart the server one two times or the problem
solves by itself.
I have also install a new server and it is also giving same behavior. On TMG server the exchange edge server and Forefront Protection for exchange is also installed.
Please help to solve this issue.

Non uniform intervals in the X-axis of LineChart

I am using a Flex3 Line chart which takes data from an External XML file.
But I dont get the DataTip points correctly if i give some numeric values in the X values and
even then, the values in the X-axis starts from the "0"th position and the interval between the "0"th & 1st value (in X axis) is half of the others (shown in red bar in the attached image) and also for the last one.
How to have the uniform intervals in the X-axis so that the DataTip shows correct values as in the data?

Please do not post VIs with infinite loops (at least without informing us that they work that way)! The loop should have a stop button on the front panel wired to the stop terminal in the loop. If you use the Abort button to stop the VI, the file never gets closed.
A long time Forum participant has said that: "Using the Abort button to stop a VI is like using a tree to stop a car. It works but may have unintended consequences!"
To get the format you want after reading you need to convert the first column in the spreadsheet file from a date-time string to a numeric which can be interpretted by the graph as a timestamp. With the format you have chosen for the file it is somewhat complicated. Spend some time reading the detailed help for the timestamp and string format functions.
In the VI attached the file is read as string. The first column is separated into 7 numerical values to create a date-time record (cluster) which is then converted to a timestamp and then to DBL. The second column is converted to an array of DBL. The arrays are bundled and connected to an XY graph. The graph X-Axis is formatted as Absolute Time, AM/PM, HH:MMS. You can add the fractional seconds if you want but the scale starts to get crowded.
Also, the error out wires from the property nodes used to initialize the graphs should be wired to the loop to assure that they execute first.

How to increase page size in existing document and add margins uniformly.

I have a long document that I must print out to PDF, but I must now increase the page size. I do not want to change the text at all; just increase the sizes of the margins. When I increase the page size , my text frame remains the original distance from left-hand margin. In other words, the top and bottom margins increase evenly, but for the left and right margins, only the right margin grows. This leaves the text frame shoved over to the left-hand side of the page (or towards the binding in a two-page spread).
I would like for the page size to increase so that all margins increase in a uniform manner, that is, so that the text frame remains centered in the page, both horizontally and vertically. At present it is centered only vertically.

A word of caution is in order regarding changing from facing to non-facing and back again. If you have overridden master page items, you'll get a second, non-overridden copy on all the even-number pages when that half of the master page is re-applied. This applies to master text frames which override automatically when text flows into them as well as to objects you manually override.
