ASSIGN SALES CONTRACT TO SALES ORDER

Hi,
I have created a sales contract. now i want to assign that sales contract to sales order with same material and sold to party.
But the price is not getting captured in material conditions after assigning it to sales contract.
Assigning the contract through EDIT - ASSIGN CONTRACT - HEADER is done properly.
But while assignining it through EDIT - ASSIGN CONTRACT - ITEM it gives error msg saying
'Subsequent assignment for preceding doc. with schedule lines not possible'
I am not able to rectify this error. Could you please help me in this case?
Regards,
Krutika

Dear Krutika
Go to VTAA, select your contract type and sale order type and execute.  Again select your item category and double click on schedule line.  Ensure that the schedule line what should flow in sale order is maintained there.  Block that schedule line and click on blue lens on top left and maintain the routines as follows:-

  • Difference between Sales Contract and Sales Agreement

    Hi,
I am confuse with contract and agreement. Please let me know what is exact difference between Sales Contract and Sales Agreement, when the sales contract will be used and in which real time situation, the sale agreement will come into picture.
    Please do needful.
    Thanks and Regards,

    Hi Venkat,
See documentation http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm70/helpdata/en/46/377a08b2ea4bee8eb9f47e5c067064/frameset.htm for details on difference between contract and sales agreement - basically sales agreement dont have a quantity or value whereas contracts do. Agreements are mainly for pricing terms. These pricing terms can then be brought into the sales/service transaction.
There are standard transaction types for these WK1 WV in ERP and CRM.
    Hope this helps.

  • Sales contract and sales order

Hi I would like to use sales contract instead of sales order. currently wbse are linked to sales order. In future WBSE will be linked to contract. Copa is also in place. How this will impact? Is this advisable.
    Kindly advise.

    Hi,
You can use Contract instead of sales order. If  you assign wbs element the cost will be recorded at project tooo otherwise not,no matters weather it is contract or order. Also there is no impact on COPA.

  • Sales Contracts and Release Orders

The Company (in which SAP is being implemented) signs:
    CONTRACT  A: for 10000 MT of rice variety R1 @ 900$/MT.  from 01/09/2005 to 31/08/2006
Conditions: The price quoted above is for 40 kg PP packing for Destination Port: New York
Incase the weight or the type of packing changes the price of the product changes accordingly. Let’s say for 20 kg of Jute Packing the price will be increase by 50$/ MT. These conditions are fixed. The price also changes with the port of destination, Let’s say the port of destination changes to Washington , then the price will be 50$ more.
CONTRACT B: for 20000 MT of rice variety R2@ 950 MT from 01/12/2005 to 30/11/2006.
Conditions: Same as for Contract A
Now the customer places an order of  5000 MT; for 60% of R1 (from Contract A) and 40% of R2 (from Contract B) to be mixed and packed in Jute packing of 20 kg for  Brand A; to be shipped to Washington.
Note: These percentage combinations can change per order.
    Problem:
To track the Material in Contract , to that in the Sales Order/Delivery/Billing. In Customer Invoice only the Brand Name, Product (which in all cases is mentioned as Rice) , Total Quantity, Packing (20kgX, 40kgY, etc), Value and Port of Destination is mentioned.
The Price of the Final Product has to be calculated automatically depending upon the percentage of R1 mixed with percentage of R2.
One Contract can expire before another hence that Contract can be renewed or discontinued (before it finishes) and replaced by another Contract

    Hi C Y Lau,
the sales order overview page has a block for the billing data. Behind this stands the BSP component BTPAYMENT, View HeaderPayment. But you have to update your configuration for this view and add the field BUAG_ID from the context node BTBILLINGSET.

  • Under /Over Delivery Tolerance with Sales Contract

    Hello All,
Overview: In our current environment we are creating Sales Contracts, then a Subsequent order from the Sales contract. We change the Sales order quantity to desired amount for the time of delivery which the customer is requesting. Also in customer master (XD02) we have delivery tolerance setup for under and over.
Question: Since we have tolerance setup for the customer.  At delivery time, we picked less from what the sales order originally had and complete the whole process to billing. Does the remaining quantity go back to the sales contract?  Sales order is still showing "Being Processed" Or is not possible to do that with delivery tolerance setup and Sales Contracts?
Scenario 1: XD02 - Tol. Over/Under set as 5%. Unchecked box "Complete Delivery", "Partial del. Set to "Blank" and Max Partial to "9" for Customer
Created Sales Contract for quantity 500 Tons--> Created Subsequent Sales order for 25 Tons.
Delivery: Picked 22 Ton's. Recieved Message" Underdelivery tolerance of 5.0% has been exceeded".
    Completed shipment and billing.
Sales order shows "being processed" and remaining qty did not go back to original Sales Contract.
Scenario 2: XD02 - Tol. Over/Under set as 5%. Checked box "Complete Delivery", "Partial del. Set to "B" and Max Partial to "1".
Created Sales Contract for quantity 500 Tons--> Created Subsequent Sales order for 25 Tons.
Delivery: Picked 22 Ton's. Recieved Message" Underdelivery tolerance of 5.0% has been exceeded". Acc. To the partial dlv. Agreement, no subsequent delivery can take place
    Completed shipment and billing.
Sales order shows "Completed", but the remaining quantity did not go back to the original Sales Contract.
Is possible to have the remaining quantity to go back to the Sales Contract without going back to the Sales order and change the quantity to what was shipped.  Can this be done via configuration?
Can anyone please shed some light on this.
    Thank you all,
    Nav

    Hi
Can this be done via configuration?
To my knowledge...definitely NO. It is not possible through configurations.
Regarding the two scenarios...you are delivering quantity less than the lower tollerance. It should not happen and if your business process demands it....there is no meaning of maintaining the tollerance limits for the customer. Since the message is a warning message, you are ignoring it and proceeding with the delivery. This message should be an error message and delivery should not be allowed when the tollerance limits are crossed.
    Thanks,
    Ravi

  • Contracts and sales agreements.

    Hello All,
I just want to understand what is sales contract and sales agreement.
How we can set up these in ECC and CRM.
How we can download these from ECC to CRM.
    Please help me.
    Thanks and Regards
    shanto aloor

    Hi Shanto,
See documentation http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm70/helpdata/en/46/377a08b2ea4bee8eb9f47e5c067064/frameset.htm for details on difference between contract and sales agreement - basically sales agreement doesnt have a quantity or value whereas contract do. Agreements are mainly for pricing terms.
There are standard transaction types for  these WK1 WV in ERP and CRM.
SALESCONTRACT is the adapter object used to download these - just make sure the filter allows the download and then they will be automatically replicated to CRM during create. An initial load must have been executed first for sales transaction so that the delta load happens automatically.

  • Assign contract to sales order item

  • Followup service contract to sales order

    Hi experts,
Can I create a  Sales Order from Service contract, If Yes can I get products in Sales Order.Actully I am getting the products in sales order product Tab,but I am not getting that information in General tab.
I want to get the data in general tab.
Is it mandatory to match the Org details in Service contrcat with sales contract when we are creating the followup activity because  we know that there is no service orgunit in sales order.
please send your solution to this mail id: nelakurtir @techmahindra.com

    Madhu

First you need to get the order header right before assigning products: Since you are copying from a service scenario transaction into a sales scenario tx you need to be aware that service and sales transactions refer to different views of the organisation model. It is not possible to reuse the service org determined in a sales order; instead you have to re-determine the organisation details (in the copying control). This way you would get the correct organisation details for sales. The same applies on item level; after doing these settings the copying should look better.

  • QTY Contract to Sales Order

After Sales Order is created I need to assign a new Item to an existing Quantity Contract.
When you first create an Item and press enter you will receive the Popup Outline Agreements exist for Line Item (if your setting in VOV8 is = B) I select list and then double click the correct QTY contract. The problem is that when i do this it is replacing my Plant in the Sales Order with the Plant from the QTY Contract.
I also tried to reference this item by skipping this message and using the menu path in VA02 (or VA01) EDIT > Assign Contract > Item Level. Here is enter my Contract # and press Assign. Now the Plant doesn't get replaced, however I receive a Popup saying New Pricing Carried Out. This now replaces my pricing on my Sales Order with the pricing from the Quantity Contract (CQ).
So the question is - how come when assigning a contract either through the menu path or through the Popup (Outline Agreement) I get different results? Shouldn't  the copy control work the same using both of these methods?
    I appreciate the help.
    Thanks -

    Hello,
Its very normal that you can enter order quantity more than the reference contract quantity flowing from the contract.
Additionally its not recommended that you change the standard SAP standard messages from warning to error etc.
Better you should go for an exit. Use following details:
    Goto SE38 & enter include MV45AFZZ
Then goto user exit "USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT". In this you should tell your ABAPer to write code such that it compare the previuosly refered quantity & hence does not allow to enter quantity more that that in contract. You will get error message while saving the document & system will thus prevent extra entry of quantity in sales order.
    Hope this solves your requirement

  • FG production on sales order but RM procurement on Sales Contract.

    Dear Gurus
Here is the client requirement for Planning and Procurements of FGS and Rms.( Process Industry)
    1) Client wants to make sales Contract VA41 for FG in which they will create schedule line for item with delivery date in Month format with Quantity.
From VA41 sales contract creation , they want their RMS to be Procured but NO MRP should be run or impacted for Final Assembly. In short NO MRP for FG
    2) After VA41,  they again want to run VA41 in which they will create ''With reference and in contract tab, they will make Customer PO with reference to above Contract. This number will give them a Qty Variance between customer's purchase order and the sales documents created.
    3) Again with Reference of Customer PO, they will make a Sales order from VA41 and this sales order they will Produce their FG.
So FG Production is Sales order driven but RM procurement is Sales Contract driven.
    1) Which Planning strategy i should assign to RM and FG?
    2) What will be step by step configuration guide from PP and SD side.?
    Appreciate your reply
    Thanks
    Shailesh

    In SPRO
goto SD>Schedule line>Define schedule line categories
here check if the schedule line category associated with your mentioned order has a flag ticked for Availability.
    Availability check for sales
You must carry out an availability check for the following transaction.
The indicator is determined as a proposal in conjunction with the respective requirements type. It can be changed in individual shipping transactions. However, only one restriction is effective.
    Example
You do not set an indicator for maintaining the requirements type. In this case, no availability check is carried out. This is independent of the selection in the respective transaction.
You set an indicator for maintaining the requirements type. In this case you can decide whether or not you require an availability check for the relevant transaction.

  • Make to Order - Goods Receipt to Sales Contract

    Dear SD Gurus,
In our scenario, sales order is created with reference to sales contract.
In the requirement class 040, Account Assignment Cat is "E Ind. cust. w. KD-CO".
So, when production order is complete, the stock is GR-ed into the sales CONTRACT number rather than the Sales Order number thus making it impossible to perform delivery.
We need this to be GR-ed to sales order.
    Any advice is appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Soo

    Problem solved.
Needed to change the requirement class in order to avoid PP parking the stock to the Sales Contract.

  • Free goods from Quotation to Contract to Sales Order

    Hi SAP Gurus,
I have questions regarding Free Goods. This is the scenario.
    Doc flow as:
    Quotation 123
         Contract 456
               Sales Order (zmor) 789
               Sales order (zkal) 101
In the quotation 123 & contract 456, the quantity of the item is 50pcs. However, when creating sales order (zmor), if we input 50 pcs as the quantity, the free goods were not determined. What we did was, we lessen the quantity to 30pcs. From there, Free goods were now shown. And then we created another sales order (zkal) for the remaining 20 pcs.
    Questions:
1.- why is it on the 1st sales order w/ same quantity(50pcs), free goods were not determined?
2.- i believe that in standard SAP, free goods were not determined in quotation or in contract. Is there a way to determine the free goods on those doc types?
3.- how about free goods determination in:
    A. Stock transfer order
    B. Product diversion
    C. Consignments
    D. Virtual return
I am really hoping for feedback on this. Thanks in advance!
    Erza

    Hi,
Free goods can only be supported on a 1:1 ratio. This means that an order item can lead to a free goods item. Agreements in the following form are not supported: u2018With material 1, material 2 and material 3 are free of chargeu2018 or u2018If material 1 and material 2 are ordered at the same time, then material 3 is free of chargeu2018.
    - Free goods are not supported in combinations with material structures (for example, product selection, BOM, variants with BOM explosion).
    - Free goods are only supported for sales orders with document category C (for example, not quotations).
    - Free goods are not supported for deliveries without reference to a sales order.
    - Free goods cannot be used in make-to-order production, third-party order processing and scheduling agreements.

  • Sales Contract with Material Variant at Sales Order

We are producing fabric and using make to order in SAP. Our customer give us a commitment with qty and a fixed price for certain fabric in advance, then later they release order to us with specific qty per color. We want to use Sales Contract for the customer commitment and sales order when the customer release the order with color qty to us.  We are putting color in the sales order in the material variant. However we are facing the following problem:
    1. Let say we have a contract 1 with 100,000 yds of material A.
    2. then we have a sales order 2 of 20,000 yds of material A with color Blue refering to contract1.
    3. Somehow our factory over produced Material A color blue total 25,000 yds.
    4. Then we have another sales order 3 of 5,000 yds of material A with color RED referring to contract 1.
    5. MRP does not create plan order for RED material A because it is showing customer stock 25,000 with contract 1 and 20,000 consume by sales order 2 and 5,000 extra.  however these 5,000 extra is blue is not red and cannot fulfill sales order 3.
Any idea how to solve this problem?
    Tks,
    Calvin Ngan

    Hi Calvin,
I think if you define your material as configurable, it can solve your problem.
A car, for example, has a large number of options that need to be described wheras the order is created only at a model and variant level. Then you define values for characteristics, to allow you to select specific options, such as 'black' for paint.
So in your case you need to define characteristics of colour(or texture or thickness) or whatever differentiates each output and add optins for each of them.
These are asked for and stored both in your reciepts(stocks, Prod. orders, POs etc) and in your requirements(SO etc). Also MRP will differentiate between each characteristics while planning.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks & Regards
