Assistive Touch Circle covers the 2X Circle

Assistive touch will allow my disabled grandson to go home (he doesn't have the strength to use the home button). However, when enabled, the assistive touch circle covers the circle that allows him to enlarge the iPhone apps to full screen on the iPad. He really needs BOTH circles available. Any suggestions?

Depending on what you mean by power off. If you mean putting the phone to Sleep, you can tap on the Home button to bring it back. If you turn it off completely, then the only way to turn it on is to use the physical Power Button.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
Ignore the reset and when it says place the iPod in Recovery mode
Place the iPod in recovery mode using one of these programs:

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Can we customize assistive touch options?

Can we customize assistive touch options? Eg- When the assistive touch is enabled the 3 circled icon is displayed in screen. It shows fav, home, device and siri. Can we bring multitasking option to the front screen where-in it’s in device-more-multitasking. I mean can be replace any of option(Fav, siri, home device) with multitasking.

How do I access my iPod Touch (5th Generation). Broken Home Key, Locked Screen, No assistive touch currently off and no access to itunes on original PC.

So a friend had damaged her iPod touch by dropping it some time ago. It has been sitting in her drawer ever since (she got a new device). It is now out of warranty and she said I could have it, but only catch is i'd have to fix it some how.
Problems are:
1) iPod is locked - She doesn't know the passcode it was set to.
2) Home key broken - Unable to do a reset as per the many links I see online.
3) Assistive touch is off - Unable to turn this on as the phone is locked and I can't unlock it.
4) We no longer have access to the original PC that it was sync'd with. I've managed to get it linked to my itunes but can't do anything with it do to the fact it won't let me as iPod is locked.
So basically it almost seems there is nothing that can be done but would appreciate your help if possible. Ideally if I can get it unlocked without losing the data so I can keep the music that is on there it would be good. If not then a full reset is fine.
Can this be done? Can we turn on assistive touch without unlocking the phone and no home key? Please help,

and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

Assistive touch rotation not working

I'm trying to use assistive touch to rotate the iphone screen to put it upside down because there's a spot that isn't working.
But for some reason, pressing invert isn't doing anything at all. rotate left/ right and back to normal does work.
I fouind the exact same issue in 3 other iphone 4 witch I could put my hands on.
Is this a known issue? Is there any alternative or fix?

Confirm that settings-->screen rotation-->Rotation lock is set to OFF
If it is already then try a Soft Reset : Press and hold Power + Volume(down) keys until the phone vibrates (about 8-10 seconds).

Ios 7 laggy or choppy when assistive touch on

is it normal? my ipod touch was really stable and smooth (except when choosing the stills image on settings, but i think its a frame rates problem), i got no trouble like laggy or anything, but when i turned on the assistive touch, it makes the entire system to be choppy, laggy. i dont know is it the hardware problem or software, but it run really smoothly when the assistive touch was off, the only way is removing the transparency to get the smoothness, but iwant that feature.

Assistive Touch Pinning Bug

If I pin the Assistive Touch icon to the lower left corner of my iPad 3 running iOS 6, it stays pinned in the lower left hand corner when I rotate the iPad.
The same is true if I pin it to the upper left hand corner.
However, when I pin the icon to the lower right corner or upper right corner, when I rotate the iPad, the icon won't stay pinned to a corner; it winds up about 2/3 of the way down the display.
I have found the lower right corner to be the least intrusive place to pin the icon, so would be great to see this resolved. Really like Assistive Touch and would be great if this got fixed.

Like me, perhaps you just need to understand the Assistive Touch Menu better - I could not work out for ages how to get the 'dot' to disappear from the screen. Then I discovered that there is an option to triple click the home button to switch the 'dot' on and off.
I think there is also an option to make the choices come up more or less quickly ..
Though i still havent worked out how to Lock Screen with a single touch rather than 3 separate clicks

Picture display without covering the circle behind

Dear All,
I'm having a great difficulty to display a picture without covering the 'circle' behind. I have a circle at the center of the monitor. The circle is draw by draw circle .vi. After certain time, a picture is displayed at the center. But the circle behind is required still to be shown. I used the .jpg read, etc... to display the picture. When the picture is on, however, it covers up the 'circle'. I can't accomplish this by re-drawing the circle on top of the picture due to timing sensitivity issue of this research. Could you please provide suggestions? Thank you so much!

This little javascript just might be useful; perhaps not for everyone, though
Select a triangle (either closed or open, doesn't matter; as long as it has exactly 3 anchor points) and run this script. It'll draw three thin-lined circles with their centers on the triangle points, and their radii adjusted so all three of them touch each other.
Copy, paste into a plain text editor -- Adobe's own ESTK Editor is good -- and save into Illustrator's Scripts folder, or anywhere else (but then you'd have to browse for it every time you want to run it). Save as "draw3circles.jsx" -- when saved in Illy's Scripts folder, it'll be visible next time you restart Illustrator.
Select a triangle, run the script. If you don't have a valid selection, it'll do nothing at all.

Question: Do you think the response from the support staff is correct? I mean, surely, I can't be the only CF user on a shared box whose other users need to modify the date and time within their applications. Even if they do it at the application level for their domain, surely it wouldn't affect mine, would it? That was what was implied by the support people, but I have a feeling they are way off, or covering for some goof-up on their end. I struggled like hell yesterday trying to get this to work and I did not get very far at all.
I found an interesting tutorial here which does a comparison of time zones and, theoretically, this might do the trick. But if what the guy told me was nonsense then I won't bother with it. For the record, our calendar has been working fine for about a week now.
