At delivery stock should pick from different batches?

HI ,at delivery ,if stock is in two batches,we should do batch split.
If iam giving two line items then there was no problem, but if it's one line item and  at batch tab we are trying to split the batch ,error was item category determination not found,
Verified item categories determination at Sales Document and delivery document, every thing is fine, kindly help me out with solution, mail me at [email protected]
Thanks In advance,

Hi Shyam,
In your delivery item category determination you should maintain as below
Document type           : Document Type for which you are doing delivery
Item category Group   : Item category Group for which you are trying to make batch split.
Usage                        : Should be CHSP
Higher Level Category :  Determined item category for the combination of document type and item category group.
For the above combination define item category.
Rewards points if it helps.

  • Exchange rate should pick from TCURR based on custom date field added in MIGO

    Hi,
In MIGO, FI document get posted by picking exchange rate based on the posting date. Through BADI(MB_DOCUMENT_BADI) we have added a field called translation date in MIGO screen, while doing GRN exchange rate should pick from TCURR based on translation date instead of posting date. We have tried this logic using substitution (GGB1) in FI accounting it is working fine in FB60 & F-02 transaction but it is not working with MIGO transaction. Please suggest some solution for this.

    Hi Maniraj,
This will a modification to existing system and it is not supported directly.
There are 2 notes of SAP for modification of translation date of BKPF.
SAP Note 574583 will activate a BADI kindly refer to it for details.

  • Delivery name should start from 0001

    Dear All,
I open new organization and want to create delivery against that invoice in order management.
I want to tell when I choose this organization my delivery name should start from 0001 and increment by 1.
Please tell me where is this option?

    Don't use stop():
    It was deprecated.
"This method is inherently unsafe. Stopping a thread with Thread.stop causes it to unlock all of the monitors that it has locked (as a natural consequence of the unchecked ThreadDeath exception propagating up the stack). If any of the objects previously protected by these monitors were in an inconsistent state, the damaged objects become visible to other threads, potentially resulting in arbitrary behavior. Many uses of stop should be replaced by code that simply modifies some variable to indicate that the target thread should stop running. The target thread should check this variable regularly, and return from its run method in an orderly fashion if the variable indicates that it is to stop running. If the target thread waits for long periods (on a condition variable, for example), the interrupt method should be used to interrupt the wait."
You can use wait() and notifyAll() inside synchronized block.

  • Price should pick from PO not from Contract while doing GR

    Hi All,
Quantity Contract is created as 1000 with net price Rs 1/-
PO is created against Quantity Contract say 100 quantity with net Price as Rs 15/-. PO value is Rs1500/-
GR and Invoice is done against PO.
Here, GR is happen agains Contract Price as Rs 1/- not PO price.
Please help me where is the settings to control either PO or Contract Price while posting Goods Receipt.
    Regards,

    Hi Sudhakar,
During GRN, the price will be taken from material master accounting view.
    Material : Standard Price
    material master price: rs.1
    po price : rs.10
GRN for 100 quantity : rs.100 in bsx and rs.900 in prd (price difference)
    Material : Moving Average Price
    material master price: rs.1
    po price : rs.10
GRN for 100 quantity : rs.1000 in BSX and in material master, mov.avg.price will be rs.10

  • Understanting delivery quantity and picked quantity in VL03N

    Dear All,
This must be a very obvious question for most of you but please help me
understand the difference between two columns in VL03N - delivery and picked quantity.
    We have implemented WMS.
    Here's my example:
    1. One outbound delivery with one delivery item.
    delivery quantity = 100 pieces
    2. Warehouseman using mobile device confirms 40 pieces of material (batch A)
    3. Warehouseman does not confirm the remaining 60 pieces from batch B
    4. Now when I display delivery item in VL03N I have the following situation
(item level, batch level is disabled)
    Delivery qty = 100 pieces
    Picked qty = 60 pieces
First question: Why picked qty = 60 instead of 40. The warehouse confirmed
40 pieces of material so picked qty should be 40. But for some reason it
    shows unpicked quantity.
When I click "+" (for batch split)
    BATCH A: delivery qty = 40, picked quantity = 40, picking status = "C", WM status = "C"
    BATCH empty: delivery qty = 60, picked quantity = 60, picking status = "C", WM status = "B"
Second question: why column "picked quantity" for empty batch (not confirmed yet)
displays 60 pieces. The remaining 60 pieces has not been confirmed yet.
    Best regards,
    Mark

    Kookie,
Second, delivery quantity is what the client requires to be delivered; picked quantity is what needs to be picked. So using your example, 40 were picked, remaining still to be picked is 60.
    This is my case.
    a) warehouseman confirmed 40 pieces of batch A.
    b) Before he confirm remaining 60 pieces of batch B I go to VL03N to see how this transaction indicates
that there are still 60 pieces left (or that only 40 pieces of batch A has been confirmed yet)
VL03N > I click "+" (for batch split) and get two rows for the delivery item
    Line 1: delivery qty = 40, picked quantity = 40, Batch: A, picking status = C, WM status = C
    Line 2: delivery qty = 60, picked quantity = 60, Batch: null, picking status = C, WM status = B
While second batch has not been confirmed (picked) yet, the second line should look in my
    opinion like this:
    Line 2: delivery qty = 60, picked quantity = 0, Batch: null, picking status = C, WM status = B
Picked quantity for unconfirmed, remaining quantity shoud be 0. However SAP shows "60". Why?
This is confusing. The only way for me to check what quantity has been confirmed is to examine
    WM status column.
    Best regards,
    Mark

  • Price was not picking from the Condition type for Item Category 'P'  in PO

    Hi Experts,
I Created one condition type based on Material and WBS which price was fixed based on this
I used the Purchase Order having Item <b>Category ‘P’ or ‘Q’</b> Price should pick from the condition type where I mapped the WBS Element and Material.
The Net price was not picking from the Condition type Record.  Why? What should be the Problem?
Whether my logic is correct or not?
    <u><b>
The Scenario:</b></u> I want to fix the Material price base on each WBS Element for a Project. For each WBS Element the Price will be various for same material.
    Please help on this.

    Hi,
In standard configuration you cannot set item delivery date as a pricing data.
Maybe you shoud look at SAP enchancement - in dedicated structures you can pass additional item data (structure KOKMP).

  • How to recieve material in different batches without batch configuration?

    Dear Friends,
    I have the following problem,
there is a commercial company that is not using batches. They want just for one materilal to recieve it in different batches but they do not want to have baches in SAP. All they want is for that material to be able to see in MMBE the remaining stock caracterised by the different batches, in order to be able to know the exact quantity remaining from each batch.
Is there any way to do this without using batches?
    Thank you in advance

without having batch management you cant use batch
you can either use the manual work in execl or any external system
now to actiavte batches for the perticular material u need to tick for batch manangement in material master
    u try following
fill the text field while doing GR
now ask ur abaper to create new code for checking stock and take ref of that unique text as a batch for the material stock

  • PO having Item Category u0091Pu0092 or u0091Qu0092  price not picking from Condition Record

    Hi Guru,
Purchase order having Item Category ‘P’ or ‘Q’ Price should pick from the condition type.
Where my condition type against on material and WBS based on this Price will be fixed.
Now I create the PO for same, which the price was not picking from the Condition Record.
    Please help on this.
    Thanks
    Muthukumar

The condition record was created and is being picked up in the calculation.  Also, I am now testing with a material that does not have a PIR created, so the PIR does have an impact on my current results.
My current test has results as follows:  condition P101 = Std. Cost (as expect) $100.00; ZUPP = calculated at 5% (as expected) $105.00.  However, the Net Price in the PO line item is showing only $100.00, not the $105.00.
A look at table EKPO shows the following: Net Price  (NETPR) $100.00; Net Value (NETWR) $100.00 ; Gross Value (BRTWR) $105.00.
Can you tell me what I am missing with this setup?

  • REG: while doing PGI with ref to OBD should pick stock from one location

    Hi experts ,
I have a n issue while doing PGI with ref to OBD.
1.We are purchasing Raw material Aluminium circle 1000 nos from "X" vendor & keeping stock in Main stores i.e 0001 location plant-1.
2.From there we are issuing to production line i.e 0003 location(Plant 1)500 nos.
4.Remaining stock of 500 nos is in 0001 location in under some Batches.
5.Meanwhile we are suppose to transfer the aluminium circle to plant 2 .
6.For this we are raising STO for aluminium circles  600 nos to Plant 2.
7.With ref to STO we are raising OBD for Plant 2.
8.With ref to OBD While doing PGI it should picks the stock from 0001(Main Stores)  location only.
9.But the STO qty is 600 nos ,availablity of stock in 0001 is 500 nos only .
10.While PGI  it takes 500 nos from 0001 location & remaining 100 nos picking from Production line 0003.It should not pick from Production line 0003 location .
11.For this system should not allow to pick from 0003 location & also system should throw error message "Deficit of QTY in 0001 location"for 100 nos.
    KIndly suggest me asap.

    Hi,
As I understand the picking is done automatically in outbound delivery. Am I right?
    a)
If picking is not done automatically but manually, why the user defines the production storage location in the OBD? In this case some training would be necessary....
    b)
If it is done automatically: which settings are you using? Batch determination only?
    1. In stock determination (SPRO > MM > IM > Stock determination > Define strategies for Stock Determination) you can define which storsage location should be used by system, and you can assign the stock determination rule to the applications (SPRO > MM > IM > Stock determination > Assign Stock determination Rule in the Applications)
(you also have to assign the stock determination group to the material master (MARC-EPRIO))

    2. You have to use batch determination
    http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_04/helpdata/EN/25/283aac4f7811d18a150000e816ae6e/frameset.htm
    3. You have to use availability check in delivery not to ship out goods for which reservation already exists (if goods are in production storage location I assume you have a PrdOrd...)

Forget stock determination. Instead of it you should use picking location determination - suggested by Laksmipathi. It wokrks fine with batch determination.
SPRO > LE > Shipping > Picking > Determine Picking Location > Assign Picking Location

  • Picking from interim area for outbound delivery

    Hi experts,
When we receive goods from production to our interim area (901), we sometimes want to pick the goods from here for the delivery, The system is allowing us to pick form 901 ,but the TR is still open ,Is there a way of picking for Delivery from 901.,
For example I received 100 pcs from production.I have a customer order for 40.
We want to pick 40 from 901 and put the rest(60)  into Bin.
Is there a way to deal with this?any help is appreciated.
    Thanks
    Chris.

    Hi,
For your requirement, you need to keep the interim storage types in the Storage Type sequence in the configuration. Then only, system will allow you to Pick from the Interim Storage bins.
This problem occurs only when you are not following the system standard sequence to Pick the product from the different storage types.
As long as you maintain the WM and IM stocks correctly, you won't face any problem, otherwise it leads to lot of inconsistencies like you will see lot of negative stocks in Interim Storage Bins.
With the above situation, you will be able to issue the product even if you won't have the stock physically in the Warehouse.
    Hope it helps you.

  • Delivery cost should upload on stock account

    Hi Gurus,
My requirement is that delivery cost which i am putting at the time of raising PO should add to stock account. Suppose my PO value is of 100 rs
    Total PO Value -- 100
Assesable value for excise --            100    (It is required 100 not inclusive of labour cost)
    Excise  16%--                                  16.00
    Educess on 2% --                              0.32
Value inclusive of ED and edu cess -- 116.32
    Labour cost                                    -- 10.00
Total value of PO                          -- 126.32
If i go like this then FI enteries at the time of doing MIGO are
    Stock account Dr      100
    Fright account Dr       10
    GR/IR             Cr       110.00
whereas frieght value is not uploading to stock account.
How can i cope with this situtation
    Regards
    VS

    Hi,
Look at M/08 for the pricing procedure that your PO is picking up.  Then, for the freight condition that you are worried about, look at the account key.  Then go to OBYC and verify to which account it is assigned.  If your FI wants that freight amount to be posted to stock account, change the account in OBYC for this key to stock account.  It will post to stock account.  From the details you provided it appears that you are using moving average price.  So, you will have freight loaded to your material once you do the above config.
    Reward if it works!

  • IO 229 - Batch for serial number 1234 (BBB) differs from document batch AAA

    Hello All,
We use batch management for serialized materials only at our central plant. For all other plants, there is no batch control. Sometimes we need to return materials back to the central plant but with a different batch number.
When we do two step stock transfer 303 / 305, we receive the following error message if we don't use the original batch number.
"IO 229 - Batch for serial number 1234 (BBB) differs from document batch AAA".
However, when we use one step plant to plant stock transfer 301, there is no error message. The batch number is also updated correctly in IQ02.
I wonder if there is any configuration to use 303 / 305 with different batch numbers.
    Thanks,
    Hakan

    Thanks Arminda.
64044 recommends to use 309 to change the batch, which works but this is an additional step.
Currently 1 step plant to plant transfer i.e. 301 doesn't require this additional step. It updates the batch information with no problem.
Is there any configuration option to change the behavior of 305, so that we don't have to do an additional movement?

    HI,
To map this scenario u hav to maintain the config settings for TOR and avaliability check for that document type and material and if u want to see the status confirm quantity or not use tcode MD04 or table VBBE is useful for u.
