Attach ADOBE form to transaction code.

Dear All,
I have a solution to be implemented wherein I need to attach an offline Interactive Abobe form to a transaction code.
The scenario is the end user has access to this custom transaction code which when he executes should open the form for him. He would then fill in the contents and submit it which would trigger an custom workflow process.
We do not wish to use WebDynpro application and hence would appreciate if any useful information is provided.

I am not sure if that is what you want, but what I would do:
1) create a transaction code
2) create a printing program (trivial), set printing settings to immediate preview
3) create an interface and adobe form layout
4) link the transaction and the program together, now when a person runs the transaction, the printing proram gets triggered and as an output it provides a blank (or pre-filled) adobe form
5) now you have the UI ready but miss the way how to trigger the WF from the form
6) to get 5) you need to create a web service and connect the webservice with your adobe form, there are plenty resources on how to do this
7) you should be able to trigger the workflow through a simple adobe form protected as a custom transaction

Hi
The user menu is the set of menu of all roles of user, so you should check the roles of the user and update one of menu of user roles.
You can do it by transactions PFGC, but if you change a role you'll change the menu of all users have that role.
This operation usually is made by the administrators of system.

Sending email by attaching adobe form through BSP

Hi All,
I'm working on the e-recruitement project.
I have requirement that on the publication page there is table view where all the publication and there posting channels are displayed.
Now i have to create a button " Send Email". by selecting the the required posting channel when i click on the button send email.
It should pick the data overview form and this form should be attached to email and should be send to the respective posting channel.
Can you please guide me to solve this issue.

You can use the same code for BSP too.

Can an existing Adobe Form be converted to HTML code to be added to a web page? If so, can you provide instructions on how to do this? Any advice you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

Configuration receiving mails with attached adobe forms from BPM

System: CE7.20 SP2

I am using Adobe Forms in SAP NW BPM. Therefore I have to configure the Mail, Notification Messages, and Forms Services described [here|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwce72/helpdata/en/e4/32ff7865fa483dba3686160f5c6dd0/content.htm].
To get this running at "Java System Properties - Applications - tcbpembase~ear"
I have to configure the mailbox which receives this adobe forms but actually I can not apply a mailbox from the exchange admin! That's always a very big bureaucratic effort, if you know what I mean
Do anybody of you have some experience how this could be solved in a big concern scenario with running exchange?

Adobe forms - Print forms using transaction code SFP

Hi All,
I had created a PDF form. It is a print form and it is not a dynamic form.
I have a subforms in the form.
Using scripting, I have to display and hide the subforms at runtime.
I tried to write the script using the Script editor in the Palatte menu in the layout.
I wrote the following script:
xfa.host.messageBox($.somExpression) for a particular field in the layout, but how to test it.
Is there any way to see the message box with the somExpression.
Kindly help me. I am using FormCalc as scripting lanuguage.

With the PDF preview tab (be sure the script runs at client side; should be working for a simple script such as this one) or by running your form...

you can create the inernal table using the table types.
assume you want to create the Inernal table of type SFLIGHT, then you can create in this way...under the global Defintions.
VARiABLE NAME       Type Assignment      Type name
IT_SFLIGHT                TYPE                       SFLIGHT_TAB1
IT_VBAP                    TYPE                       VBAP_TT
you can populate these tables using the Initialization->Code Initialization.

Values not capture during adobe form display on pa30.

But its displaying at the time of form generation on ZHINUREQ_CORRS_LETTER program.

Hi Saujanya,
This could by caused by the network, the used browser or additional browser plugins. Try to do the following:
1. Test with an alternative browser (if you are on a SP which supports different browsers than IE, see PAM, http://service.sap.com/pam): If it works with Firefox, then you know the problem is caused by IE and not by the OS, network, ...
2. Deactivate/uninstall all additional browser plugins/add-ons (like google toolbar, Yahoo toolbar, ...)
3. Create a client trace as explained in SAP note 999998. Maybe there's a hint in the trace. Watch for something like "ERROR".
4. Install a HTTP sniffer (like "fiddler") on both machines and compare the network traffic. Maybe there's a request with a 4xx HTTP status code?
5. How is the machine connected to your network? Is it behind an additional webproxy?

Error while accesing ADOBE Form in SFP over Citrix

Hi,
When I try to access the ADOBE Form from transaction code SFP over Citrix from home, I am getting the follwoing message and not allowing me to either display or change the ADOBE form.
"Could not start Layout Designer"
When I try to access the same ADOBE Form in my office, everything works fine.
I have installed Adobe LiveCycle Designer 8.1 on my home system. Still I am getting the message that the Layout Designer could not be started.
What could be the issue ?
Kindly suggest, how can I overcome this issue.

i have attached adobe form in my workflow as a attachment in decision step .the requirement is he will open the adobeform and he will edit some values and that form i have to save that values and update the database.. my problem is he will open the attachment and make changes to that how can i able to get the edited form into workflow this is a 3 level approval process at every stage approvers will edit the adobe form so any one please suggest me..

Your adobe forms opening in the T.code IQS2 right.
Create a method, call this T.code & pass the notification number using the call transaction Method.
Assign this method in the workflow via task and send it to the approver.

Attaching a Transaction Code to Report Painter Report

After creating a report painter report in GRR2 ... I tried to attach it to a transaction code in SE93...
But am not able to do so?
Is this possible and if so how is it done?

I assume that you were copying the report/program from one environment to the next? DEV->QA->PRD
Using the Elias' example above, for program name, ensure that the last portion of it coincides with the environment in which you are executing the transaction code.
GP4FGHMLN5Z2Q5MDAN2A89TGV1K010.
Notice the '010'? Is that the client number for the environment in which you wish to run this program?
If your PRD environment is for example, client 100, then you will need to change the t-code to point appropriately to the program for that client. In this case (using my example), the program name to be referenced by the t-code would be:
GP4FGHMLN5Z2Q5MDAN2A89TGV1K100.
Try that out. If all else fails, if you have access to t-code SE38, search for your program name (except for the last portion, etc.) with a wildcard (*). If you find the program, run it to make sure that this is what you were expecting. Now that you have the correct program name, use that in SE93 for your t-code.
