Is it possible to attach photos into calendar events? I would like to attach a phot to events that I have entered into my Calendar. Such as, if I were to get into an accident and would like to attach photos of damage, insurance info, other driver, etc

Yes, you can create a file attachment field in the form and have your employee upload the pictures.

"Add Link" missing from Calendar after publishing sharepoint page

The "Add Link" is missing from Calendar when I publish the page. While in the edit mode, I can see the "Add Link" option. I also made sure I have the right view mode set for the calendar. I am using SharePoint 2013.

I assume you are adding calendar web part to a page.
Please click somewhere in the Calendar web part and check if Events/Calendar tab appears, and try to add new event. If you highlight one box in the calendar, could you see the +Add as below:

Missing a calendar in iCal after syncing with MobileMe....

i am having some problems with iCal ...i am missing one my Calendars in iCal and wasn't sure how to get it back. I downloaded the calendars file and calendar.plist from my Time Machine backup...the missing calendar showed up at first, but it seemed to disappear right away (i assume after syncing with MobileMe.) Not sure what would be the easiest way to bring it back.......

It's possible to restore from Time Machine, though it's a slightly complicated process. Please follow very carefully the steps described here:

Symantec Mail Security with Exchange 2007 (Emails with Attachment missing)

HI, i need help here
I have Win 2008 with Exchange 2007 and Symantec Mail Security. Symantec was working fine until the license expired but it was still fine until yesterday, we realize that we cannot receive email with attachment. after stopping the symantec services, mail
flow went back to normal. We then remove the program from the control panel.
Then i found that i cant retrieve or find those emails that was sent to us during a period of ard 6 hours. i tried looking the the Symantec quarantine folder but it is not there.
Can someone point to me where should i look for the missing mails? When i do a mail flow troubleshoot i can see the logs that it is sent to the mailbox, but from users's outlook inbox, there is no email ??

Missing Outlook calendar items

Hi,
Just got the new BB Curve for my birthday and am still getting used to it (I was an old Palm Treo 650 user). Yesterday, everything synced fine on my BB and Outlook, however today all my Outlook calendar items are missing. They are on my BB, but not my work Outlook.
How can I get them back to my Outlook calendar without re-keying? Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Brian,
We use MS Outlook Exchange and I was told by a coworker to do the following. Look at the meeting requests with attachments by size of the file. Remove any attachments from the meeting requests that caused the file size to be greater than 1MB and save them offline. This is even for meetings that are in the past. Once they are all less than 1MB, power your iPhone or iPad down completely. Turn it back on an viola they should be all back. It worked for me.

Missing Random Calendar Events

We have several instances where random calendar events are not being sync'd to both iPhones or iPads. It does not matter the version is iOS but in this case both devices are running 4.3.1. I've verifieed the Message Class setting is set to IPM.Appointment and the appointment is not a reoccuring event. The OWA version of Exchange correctly displays the calendar event. If I use a Android device, it too, syncs the missing calendar event correctly.
This has occurred on Microsoft Exchange 2007 and 2010.
Please advise.

With Time Machine you can go "back in time" to restore files, versions of files, or your entire system. Make sure your backup drive is connected and mounted (if not, Time Machine will alert you that "Your Time Machine backup disk can't be found."
If prompted, enter an administrator name and password to proceed with the restore.
Restoring specific files or folders
Choose Enter Time Machine from the Time Machine menu and the restore interface appears. You can literally see your windows as they appeared "back in time."
You can use the timeline on the right side of the window to reach a certain point back in time (the timeline shows the times of all backups on your backup drive). If you don’t know exactly when you deleted or changed a file, you can use the back arrow to let Time Machine automatically travel through time to show you when that folder last changed.
Note: Dates in pink indicate the data resides on your Time Machine backup device. Dates in white indicate the data resides on your Mac. In OS X Lion, portable Macs have the feature of local snapshots. See this article for details.
You can also perform a Spotlight search in the Time Machine Finder Window search field to find a file. Simply type the Spotlight search field and use the back arrow to have Time Machine search through your backups to find what you are looking for.
Before you restore a file, you can also use Quick Look to preview a file to make sure its the one you want. Highlight the file and press the Space Bar to bring up a quick look.
To restore, select the file/folder and click the "Restore" button. The file will automatically be copied to the desktop or appropriate folder. If the file you are restoring has another file in the same location with the same name, you will be prompted to choose which file to keep or keep both.

Missing shared calendars using iCal and OS X Mountain Lion

My wife and I sharing our family calendars using iCloud. I created some of them and shared them ith my wife and she created others as well and shared them with me. Up here, business as usual :-)
I'm not sure about the concrete time it happens, but for a while I'm missing the calenders of my wife in the +-Menu of iCal and today my wife told me, shes missing my cals, too.
Using our mobile devices (iPad, iPod) we are both able to create new events in every calender. A new event created in my own calendars is editable and can be moved into one of the shared cals of my wife.
Anyone out there having a solution for this?

The following is a summary of other posts: It helped some of us. Try it out!
1. Make a backup ( a) Time Machine, b) Export > Archive iCal) Close iCal
2. In Finder hold down alt-Key while choosing "Go to..." menu
3. Select Library
4. In the folder Calendar delete the files
Calendar Sync Changes
Calendar Cache
5. In the folder Preferences delete the files
com.apple.CalendarAgent.plist
com.apple.iCal.helper.plist
com.apple.iCal.plist
com.apple.iCalExternalSync.plist
com.apple.syncserver.plist
(not sure which one is the bad guy, but it did not hurt to erase all of them)
6. Start iCal, it will update itself.

Entry missing from calendar

I am trying to add an entry to my calendar and my phone shows 6 calendars, two yahoo accounts, then iCloud calendar, work, home all marked/checked. I create my entry it appears on my calendar list for a minute then disappears! It has removed all my previous entries from the other calendars and it only shows "calendar" under iCloud now....HELP!

Well, I'm looking at the just released 2.1 update for my iPod touch, and it is missing the one thing I wanted the most for ActiveSync...the ability to set which sub folders are synced automatically. I would assume that the iPhone update would also be missing this feature, since the base features in the OS are usually pretty similar between the two products. I REALLY HOPE I am wrong! Not being able to see my mail without manually opening the folders is really annoying.
(Yes, I've filled out the feedback form, for every release since 2.0...I even emailed Steve!)
I will keep my fingers crossed that the iPhone OS ends up being different than the touch this time around...

Sharepoint Incoming Email with .msg attachment,Attachment missing

I have a document library confogured to allow incoming emails.My environment is Moss 2007 sp1. When i send an email with an attachment of type doc or pdf or zip. The attachments are there in the document library.
If i send an email with a .msg file (outlook 2003) as attachment, the attachment goes missing. I Stopped the Timer service and sent an email and the email was available in the drop folder.If i open the email from the drop folder i can see that my attachment
is there.Now if i start the Sharepoint timer service the email body is available in the document library but the attachment is Missing. This issue is happening only with attachments of type .msg.
Please could you help with this issue.

This is the default behavior when you email enable a document library.
If you want to save the original email as well.
Go to the Document Library Settings
Followed by Incoming email Settings.
On the Incoming email settings page in the Email Message section.
Choose Yes for Save original email? and click
OK.
Now if you send any new email with attachment, you will be able to see both the Attachment & original email in the document librabry. Hope that helps.

Mail not showing attachment - Missing plug in

Yet another bug with Mountain Lion. I have just sent email with attachment, and when i go to sent folder, to look mail, there are no attachment only message "Missing plug in"

*Applications / Utilities / Java Preferences / Restore Defaults / quit out of Java Preferences.*
*then quit Mac Mail, restart Mac Mail.*

PDF attachment missed one coulumn
