Authenticate SOA Suite for OID
Hi All,
Iam trying to configure SOA Suite 11g and the Work list application to the OID Users.
Iam able to see all the OID users and groups on the Web Logic Console and i can login into Web Logic and WebLogic Enterprise Console as OID Users.
But I have issed Logging into Worklist application.
I did refer to the forum solution Re: SOA Suite 11g and OID on step 3 on the forum link it does ask to locate for the Locate the soa-infra-users.xml file on the OH.
But I dont seem to find that file.
Has anyone configured the OID to for Work List Application .Your suggestions and pointer would help me proceed further.
I have not been able to proceed with this issue.
Regards
Sabir
Sabir,
I am not sure about TP4. Incase of SOA11gR1, to configure OID, you can follow the steps mentioned in the doc
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12839_01/webcenter.1111/e12405/wcadm_security.htm#BGBCFDJI
AFAIK, Worklist doesn't support mulitple realms. At any point of time, it will work only with the default realm.

I had been using a Oracle Application Server 10g Release 3 (10.1.3) Media Pack for Linux x86 (32-bit). We are now moving to a 64-bit Linux. I cannot find a Oracle Application Server 10g Release 3 (10.1.3) Media Pack for Linux x86 for 64-bit Linux. Is it supported on 64 bit.
Also, can an Oracle Enterprise Linux be used instead of RHEL ?
Cheers,
Arun RameshI thought most X64 architectures can support 32 bit apps. Even if the SOA Suite runs in 64 Bit, the JVM will alone be running in 32 Bit. So there should not any compatibility problems.
Is that right? -

Please helpInstalling from a CD or from a download? It may be corrupt.
I suggest you compare the checksum of the downloaded file with the checksum as listed on the download page.
The installer is supposed to use its own JRE, so it should not use your installed one. -
Question about SOA suite installation
After RCU setup creates tablespace for Identity Manager and SOA- question: how does SOA install connect or know about the tables created by RCU. Because in the SOA setup process there was no configuration for Database server. So which component will guide the SOA to look into the appropriate tables, schema etc created by RCU.
Edited by: 968091 on Oct 30, 2012 5:31 PMI think by "one of the message in the thread ", you are referring to Nayan's post:
Yes, you are right during SOA installation,It doesn't ask for the SOA related schema details.
It is being asked after OIM installation.Once you done with RCU, Weblogic,SOA, IAM/OIM installation you have to run below two configuration script
1. <IDM_HOME>/server/common/bin/config.sh --> Here you will create a domain and it will ask about all the schema details including SOA as well.
2. <IDM_HOME>/server/bin/config.sh -> this will allow you to set password for the xelsysadm(admin) user as well as design console and Remote manager setup.
---nayan
So, second one i.e. the one "OIM install/config" is used for setting the password for the xelsysadm(admin) user... The database related stuff happens in the first one itself i.e. <IDM_HOME>/server/common/bin/config.sh
THE FIRST SCRIPT PERFORMS DATABASE RELATED TASKS -
Oracle SOA Suite for Oracle E-Business suite (R 12.0.6)
Hi gurus,
I am new to SOA, so please bear with my novice question. We implemented Oracle EBS R12 (12.0.6) to support business. There is a need to integrate the EBS with a third party system. To do this through webservices, is SOA suite required? If Yes, is it already there with EBS R12.0.6 or should get this explicitly? Basically, what are our options, any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advanceYes you can use Oracle Suite Rel 11g to integrate with EBS.

HTTP Server not starting in SOA Suite for linux
Hi all,
Installation and configuration of the new SOA Suite on SUSE 9 is not without faults. During the configuration the HTTP Server process is not starting. According the log file (opmn/logs/HTTP_Server~1.log) the HTTP Server is trying to start in SSL-mode, but I guess the SSL was not properly configured during the installation by the installer. I am not able to configure SSL myself, so my workaround was to disable SSL in the opmn.xml configuration file.
Is anyone experiencing these problems? How can I configure SSL? Is SSL supposed to be enabled on the soa-server?
Thanks in advance,
Harm
PS. The type of installation = advanced install, full

I had installed Java 1.6.0b105 and Java SE Runtime Environment 6. I removed both and re-installed Java SE 6 update 4 (build 1.6.0_04-b12) but this made no difference.
I have McAfee installed and disabled it's services still no joy.
Please could someone suggest a solution to prevent this error?
Thanks in advance
JanInstalling from a CD or from a download? It may be corrupt.
I suggest you compare the checksum of the downloaded file with the checksum as listed on the download page.
The installer is supposed to use its own JRE, so it should not use your installed one. -

I have not created clusters as i have only one soa server and so i think i dont need to use the node manager to start the soa server . I am starting the server using the command prompt .
Basically what i did and how i created the domains is below.
Note : NO cluster so NO node manager and everryting is by command prompt
i selected the options like
First domain:-
Oracle soa suite,
EM,
JRF
(Admin Server + One SOA Server )
Deployment and servcies i chose by default and so-infra is down
Second Domain:-
Oracle soa suite for developers,
EM,
JRF,
(Admin server + One server )
Deployment and servcies i chose by default and so-infra is down
Third domain:-
Oracle soa suite for developers,
EM,
JRF,
( Only one admin server which is working fine )
Deployment and servcies i chose by default and so-infra is UP and running
Fourth and fifth domain :-
Repeating the fiirst and second domain along with BPM and BAM this time
Deployment and servcies i chose by default and so-infra is down
This is all i did . Please correct me if am wrong.
Thanks -
Oracle Application Server 10.1.3.1 Solaris SOA Suite
I just wanted to notify you of the fact that the link to CD2 for SOA Suite for Solaris is incorrect. This link is pointing back to disk1 and not disk2. I can't install with disk1 alone so I thought you would like to know.
Thanks,
ThomThanks for pointing this out. The page is updated with the correct file..

Need help installing Healthcare adapter in Oracle SOA Suite 11.1.1.5.0
Hi everyone,
I am fairly new to SOA Suite and am trying to learn it out of self interest.
The problem is that I want to do some POC for healthcare scenarios, since I am currently working in a Healthcare based project.
I have already installed Oracle SOA Suite 11.1.1.5.0. As part of SOA Suite installation, following components were installed.
1. Oracle Database
2. Weblogic server
3. RCU
4. SOA Suite
5. JDeveloper
6. SOA extension for JDeveloper
From this point on, to enhance SOA Suite for building healthcare scenarios, I am stuck up with following questions:
1. What all to install ?
2. Where can I find the required downloadable ?
3. How to install it?
Thanks everyone.
Edited by: 973335 on 26-Nov-2012 18:45The problem is that I want to do some POC for healthcare scenarios, since I am currently working in a Healthcare based project. If you are going to work on a POC then please use Oracle SOA 11.1.1.6 for Healthcare Integration. It is not recommended to use PS4 (11.1.1.5).
For PS5 (11.1.1.6), instructions are here -

Hi All,
I have been using SOA Suite for quite sometime, but today suddenly when I tried to start it, I was unable to do so.
I got an error showing "Could not create JVM".
any insights would be greatly helpful.
thanks
SaurabhHi Saurabh,
Just guessing, I saw it is very common error due to corruption of JVM. How about copying JDK directory (soasuite/jdk) from any other SOA backup you may have? or install jdk and overwrite the one? -
Installation issue- Oracle SOA Suite 10g Release 3 (10.1.3.x)
Hi,
I am installating (basic installation) Oracle SOA Suite 10g Release 3 (10.1.3.x), I have Vista OS. Configuration assisstant ran successfully till (App server, ESB, BPEL prcoess manager) it reached to Web Services Manager. It threw up following error-
BUILD FAILED
C:\product\10.1.3.1\OracleAS_3\owsm\scripts\install.xml:1971: The following error occurred while executing this line:
C:\product\10.1.3.1\OracleAS_3\owsm\scripts\dataload.xml:199: java.sql.SQLException: Internal Error:Invalid Connect String
I have JDeveloper installed on my system. Let me know if you need the log file.
Any help is greatly appreciated.Andre,
I am a newbee in this field and I could not understand your question. Can you please explain? I downloded Oracle JDeveloper to design BPEL processes and trying to install Oracle SOA suite for BPEL process manager, that is where I hit this road block.

How is licensed the Oracle Service Bus? wasnt it part of the SOA Suite?
Why
it is not clear for us how the oracle service bus is licensed, in terms that we thought it was included on the Oracle SOA Suite , we are referring to newer releases
is it licensed a part from the soa suite?
Thanks!thanks!
so just to put it clear, In case in which we are licencing both weblogic an soa suite the enterprise edition the OSB is included on the licence fee right?
3.2 Oracle Service Bus
Oracle Service Bus is a lightweight SOA integration platform, or "enterprise service bus". Oracle Service Bus includes Oracle SOA Suite Adapters (see Chapter 5, "Oracle Fusion Middleware Adapters").
Oracle Service Bus is licensed as an option to Oracle WebLogic Suite and is also included in Oracle SOA Suite for Oracle Middleware and Oracle Mobile Suite. Users running Oracle SOA Suite for Oracle Middleware on WebLogic Server Basic may not run Oracle Service Bus (see Section 3.5, "Oracle SOA Suite for Oracle Middleware and Oracle BPEL Process Manager Option Licensing with Oracle Internet Application Server").
Prerequisite: A license to Oracle WebLogic Suite is a prerequisite to license and use Oracle Service Bus.

When I click a RAW file in Bridge CC, only a 40x60 px thumbnail appears in ACR.
I am having a problem opening RAW files by clicking on them in Bridge. ACR launches but only a tiny 20x30px image appears in the main ACR editing screen. In Lightroom, the same RAW files open correctly without any issues.
