AuthenticateUser error in R12
Hi,
When i am running Login Page in R12 from my JDEV it is opening correctly but when i give user name and password it is throwing the error saying that "AuthenticateUser" is failed.
Error message :
oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Resource /AuthenticateUser?username=UME&langCode=US&_lAccessibility=N&password=oracle123&retainAM=N&
In the JDEV i am placing the AuthenticateUser servlet in myhtml folder.
please suggest me how to rectify the issue.
Thanks,
Uma.
Hi,
I searched and found one previous reporting of the same issue about 9 years ago, bug 4746031. In that particular case, an upgrade of the ATG framework code resolved the issue. So you might want to log an SR with the ATG group and see if you have the latest code level there.

Custom VO for OTL Custom Timecard Error in R12
Hello All,
I am very new to OA Framework and JDev so first let me write down the steps I did before I got the error on one of the LOVs on timecard page.
1. Created a database view called HXC_CUSTOM_VIEW with only 2 columns
2. Created VO via Jdev in read only mode. Hardcorded the values in CustomLOVVO.xml as,
RowClass="oracle.apps.fnd.framework.server.OAViewRowImpl"
ComponentClass="oracle.apps.hxc.selfservice.timecard.server.CustomLOVVO"
Generated the JAVA as CustomLOVVOImpl. Compiled the project and got .class file.
3. Transfered .xml and .class files onto the server under $JAVA_TOP/hxc/selfservice/timecard/server. CHMOD to 777 for both files.
4. As I am on R12, logged onto application and clicked on responsibility "AK HTML FORMS". Created Attributes and Region and added Region Items.
Covered important details while creating Region such as,
"oracle.apps.hxc.selfservice.timecard.server.TimecardAM"
"oracle.apps.hxc.selfservice.configui.webui.LovCO"
5. Added 2 items under the Region.
6. Modified the timecard .LDT file and add the code to include LOV.
7. Bounced apache and logged into OTL Self-service. Clicked on create timecard, entered value for all fields and when on click on the LOV icon for this item I get the below error,

Need help and pointers to troubleshoot this proble. I have hit the wall and not getting any solution.
Thanks an advance.Editing Oracle seeded files is not recommended as they are not upgrade/ patch safe. Read OTL impl white paper for your custom LOV requirements, They have explained well.

PO_DOCUMENT_FUNDS_PVT.do_unreserve API Error in R12
Hi All,
I am trying to use the PO_DOCUMENT_FUNDS_PVT.do_unreserve API to unreserve the existing 'Blanket Purchase agreement' in R12 and it error
out and doesn't go through. The same API call works fine for 'Standard PO' without any issue. This same API call is used in our current Release 11i
and it works fine, does anyone have any idea how to make this work in R12 for existing 'Blanket Purchase Agreement'? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
SSHi Hussien,
Sorry for the delayed response, I was on vacation. Thanks for the links that you have provided. when I try to call the API it just returns with 'FATAL'
error and when I check in the table 'po_online_report_text' based on online_report_id value returned by API call, it shows the following text
Text_Line from above table when Unreserve failed on 04/29/2013
GL BC Packets are empty. Event 38090918 is not processed.
The subledger journal entry does not balance in the entered currency. Please verify the entered amounts on the journal entry lines.
GL BC Packets are empty. Event 38090918 is not processed.
The subledger journal entry does not balance in the entered currency. Please verify the entered amounts on the journal entry lines.
I don't see any event in XLA_AE_HEADERS table or GL_BC_PACKETS table with the event_id 38090918 as given in the error text. Any help would
be greatly appreciated. Is there any other API that we can use to do 'Reserve'/'Unreserve' from back-end in R12 Encumbrance Accounting environment?
Thanks,

ORA.01041:internal error-- IN R12
Hi All,
While testing oracle seeded reports we are getting this error. As per the error i have checked in the PL/SQL code, i found that no views are existed in the R12 which are existed in 11i.
EX..
AR_CUSTOMERS_V -- existing view in Oracle 11i
AR_CUSTOMERS -- existing view in Oracle R12
Could any one suggest me how i can achieve this issue.
Thanks,
RED.There is no such a document which shows tables mapping between 11i and R12. However, to determine the difference between 11i and R12, you can refer to eTRM and the Content Document manuals, both should be helpful.

Audit Expense Report Error in R12.1.3
Hi,
We encountered a workflow error after audit expense report. We are on R12.1.3 version.
Issue:
We set up a Audit Rule Sets and assign it to OU, and create an expense report. Manager can approve it and Auditor can approve it, also we can see confirmation message " The audit for this expense report is complete. The approved parts of this expense report are ready for Payables invoice import and payment." But can not create expense report invoice in AP.
We then check the expense report workflow status, it stuck in "AP Approval Process".
Another testing:
We end date the Audit Rule Set OU assignment, and run the same testing, this time, we can create expense report invoice successfully.
Please help!
WinstonThanks, this note asks to have AP department to audit the expense report from Internet Expenses Auditor responsibility. We already have done this. Acutally, the issue happens after we audit the expense report.

Remove/Reduce Shuffle Button on Mobile for Premium Users.

I've been working in Photoshop CC on my subscription but I now have a client that wants us to use Photoshop CS6. I know with InDesign they are different as far as opening legacy files but is that true for Photoshop also??
