Auto Replishment of materials in SAP

HI Experts,
In one of my requirement I need to create the TO's automatically from one storage type to another storage type having different storage locations. The triggering point for creating TO will be minimum and maximum quantity of the material in the particular storage type.
Please suggest how I should proceed to meet this requirement.

Have a look at the config. under:
LE/WM/Activities/Transfers/Define stock transfers and Replenishment Control
in combination with one of the RLLNACH* programs SAP help text for RLLNACH4 below >>
You can use this report to control replenishment within the warehouse for storage types with random storage bin management. The system calculates the replenishment quantity on the basis of the current stock situation in the storage type and the replenishment quantity defined in the material master record. The system then creates transfer requirements (TRs) for the calculated replenishment quantities.
You'll need a new movement type and a new Reference Storage Type search record.

    Hi Khanna,
<i> 1. Should we create DT MT MI and all (OR) not</i>
Yes U need to create for HTTP site...for RFC U need to import..
<i>2.In Request DT how the message structure wil be to get the list of materials from sap r/3 system as Response(Ex: Fields in the source structure).</i>
You create your own structres for Request and respoce.. and Map it with RFC..
<i>3.Or the second thing is how to get the list of materials start with some alphabate.</i>
I think it will come with acending order....

  • Issue in Exporting the Sales Price List and Purchase Price List for the Materials from SAP Business ByDesign (SAP Cloud)

    Hello Everyone,
I would like to have a discussion on the issues, which I am facing at the time of Exporting the Sales Price List and Purchase Price List for the Materials from
    SAP Business ByDesign (SAP Cloud).
    (1). Sales Price List :
We have maintained Customer Group Specific Sales Price List for the Materials in the following Location.
Location :         Product and Service Portfolio Work Center > Pricing > Price Lists > Customer Group Specific Price List (Type of Price List)
Target :             We want to export the entire records in some reports or excel sheet.
Records :          Number of Materials in the Customer Group Specific Price List is more than 2,00,000
    Issues :
(A). In the SAP Business ByDesign Screen we can filter by number of records but we can export till  50,000 records.
And if we are trying to export records more than that limit, then it throws "HTTP 500 Internal Server Error".
(B). We could not find any SAP standard reports in Product and Service Portfolio and/or Business Analytics Work Center
for getting the entire record set of the Sales Price List, so that we can have the entire set of records together.
    Searching For :
(A). Is there any SAP reports or data source available for getting the entire Sales Price List records?
(B). Can we have any other filter conditions for exporting the Sales Price List records in a single shot or module wise?
    (2). Purchase Price List :
We have maintained the Purchase Price List for the Materials in the following Location.
Location :           Product Portfolio Work Center > List Prices > Active List Prices (Type of Price List)
Target :               We want to export the entire records in some reports or excel sheet.
Records :            Number of Materials in the Purchase Price List is more than 4,00,000.
    Issues :
(A). In the SAP Business ByDesign Screen we can not see more than 10,000 records and the actual number of
records are more than 4,00,000. We could able to download the records till 10,000 but that is not sufficient.
We want to export the entire records in an excel sheet.
(B). We could not find any SAP standard reports in Product Portfolio and/or Business Analytics Work Center for
getting the entire record set of the Purchase Price List, so that we can have the entire set of records together.
    Searching For :
(A). Is there any SAP reports or data source available for getting the entire Purchase Price List records?
(B). Can we have any other filter conditions for exporting the Purchase Price List records in a single shot or module wise?
Please go through the attached screen shots for the references and more clarity on the issues.
I am waiting for the valuable responses.

  • Procurement of Direct Materials in SAP SUS

    Hi gurus,
I need a supplier portal, my client wants that suppliers can confirm PO directly, not calling to the purchaser.
I have read that Supplier Self-Services (SUS) and SAP Materials Management (SAP MM) can be used in conjunction with each other.
But then I have read about the Supplier Workplace.
Anyone of you knows the advantages and disavantages to work with SUS or with Supplier Workplace?
    Many thanks!!!
    Regards

    Hello Patrícia,
Please find the earlier discussions on SUS vs supplier workplace & supplier portal.
    Hope this will help.

  • How to upload Materials into  SAP

use the lsmw standard existing bapi or idoc method to upload the data into sap

  • How to delete master data of materials from sap tables

how to delete master data of materials from sap tables...its needed now.
i know its not recommended but still we need to do this. give me the best possible approach.
    regards,
    suneetha

    Hi,
I would suggest you not to write your own code to delete the entries.
BAPI_MATERIAL_DELETE, this would mark all materials selected for deletion. But still the material would exist in SAP.
Another solution: Delete a material manually and in another session execute the transaction SM04. This would display the tables which get locked when you do the operation, Then you can write your own code to delete the material numbers from all the related tables.

  • I need materials for SAP SRM  NPP(Non production procurement)

Please provide materials for SAP SRM NPP, General ideas about it.
    regards,
    George.

    Salut George,
in general, all items that a business procures which directly end up in the production process are acquired through "production procurement". Examples for production marerial or "direct" material are raw materials, or fuel/energy for the producing machines.
The abbreviation NPP for the (too) short cut Non-Production Procurement refers to procurement of so-called "non-production materials and services", also known as "indirect procurement". What "non-production" is depends on the company that produces. Here some examples:
At Xerox, the copy machine maker, NPP "covers all purchases of supplies other than supplies used in the actual production of copying machines. Thus, all office supplies, from desks and personal computers to pencils and stationary comes under the category of non-production procurement." {you can probably find the source via google}.
Resources, when not directly involved in the manufacturing process, such as engineers, product designer, quality inspectors, and administrators, may be referred to as non-production labor. Again, it depends on the production process of the company! The procurement of these resources may be seen as non-production procurement as well.
I hope this helps. Best regards,
    Andreas

  • Positive Release of Materials in SAP QM

    Hi
We are currently activating the Quality Management Module in SAP (We have already implemented PP, MM, SD, FI, COPA modules).
We have a typical requirement. Under normal circumstances materials which are not cleared by Quality, cannot be despatched. But we want to despatch materials only upto Consignment Agents point (Although Quality release is not done). The Consignment Agents are configured as Plants in our system.
However, the Consignment Agent should not be able to sell the stock until it is cleared by QA. In other words, system should permit Stock Transfers of such stock but not allow Sale of such stock.
Is there any way such a scenario can be handled in SAP? We are on version 4.7.
    Regards
    Shobhana.

  • Materials Management SAP Master Data Administrator Needed

    Hi all,
I am an executive IT recruiter for the Lucas Group.  We are the largest privately owned recruiting firm in the nation and deal only in Permanent placement.  Please contact me at 972-201-1256 if you feel you would be a good fit for a Master Data Admin in Materials Management in the chicago area.  My client is looking to hire immedaitely and I could have an interview witin 2 days set-up.

SAP MDM is master data management server. as in our SAP R/3 Customer Master, Vendor Master, Material Master, Etc.  These Master Data we are maintained in conventional way means individual SAP R/3 and non-SAP itself.
However, these Master Data can store in single point source of truth and then distribute to all after consolidating the master record data. First, we will get the all Master Data (ex. Customer, Material, Etc) from Different sources (ex. SAP or non-SAP or DB) using the scenario
SAPR/3---> XI--> MDM (Outbound to SAP R/3 or Inbound to MDM)
    Second,
Then we will do the all the necessary things in MDM.
Third, we will syndicate/ distribute the consolidated Master Data to all the Systems using this scenario
MDM-> XI-> SAPR/3 (Outbound to MDM or Inbound to SAP R/3)
what is acheived out here is data uniqueness acorss the system. this is one real world scenario

  • Auto allocation of materials in Batch

    Hi All,
I need to allocate the batch materials automatically. I don't want to use "Automatic" allocation in Formula. But If I open the batch and try to allocate automatically from the Actions menu, the auto allocate option is disabled. Is there any setups needed to enable this..
    Regards,
    Navanethan

allocation parameters feature does not really address this 'defaulting location' requirement as there is no way to default locations based on any rule.form personalization seems to be the way to go,however the pick lots location form does not support personalization.(Line Allocation details screen does)Can anyone throw some more light on this?I wonder how has this been achieved in R12...

  • Is there Barcode for materials In SAP?

    Dear all.
Now, my company use SAP but we want to use barcode for our material.
So I want to know how SAP can manage materials by barcode. Besides, are there any document about it such as PDF or SAP SHOW?
    Thanks all.
Edited by: DINHTRUNGTIN on Aug 3, 2010 4:16 AM

    Hi,
for a material you could maintain EANs (for a specific unit of measure).
As a possible solution you can store your barcode(s) in
"additional datas -> additional EANs". the Customizing for the EAN is
    done in transactions W4ES and W4EN, notes 880520, 879460 and 545520
    should help you.
If this functionality is not usefull for you, another alternative to
use your own fields is always open (note 44410).
    Best regards

  • Movement of NonInventoried Materials within SAP

Hello - We are trying to figure out a solution for the following scenario.  We have a major project and use the project system to create the WBS.  We order and receive goods to the project (acct assgn code P).  We do this so that the project managers can see the committed costs against their budget.  Some of the items purchased have long lead times - six months.  The items are received at a central location before they are shipped offshore.  The goods receipt is generated AGAINST THE PROJECT.  The items never hit inventory.  OK - now the problem.
Sometime after the goods have been received (next day, next week, or next month), the items have to be shipped offshore to their destination.  How can we do the following, given the business process described above?
    1.  Create shipping documents - currently we create shipping documents when a transfer is performed.  See #2.
    2.  Perform a goods movement transfer (two-step) within SAP when the items are not in inventory - remember, they were charged off to a project.
    3.  Keep the committed costs and/or the actual costs at the project regardless of how the materials are handled
We've looked at using project stock.  The problem with that is that, in order to do the transfers, the goods would have to be moved out of project stock and into inventory to accomplish this.  When that happens, the project costs are credited and inventory is debited.
Any ideas?  This is a challenge!
    Thank you
    SP

    Hi,
    I don't understand this:
"(...) in order to do the transfers, the goods would have to be moved out of project stock and into inventory to accomplish this. When that happens, the project costs are credited and inventory is debited."
What would you say for such a process in SAP: (as long as you have not tried it)
    1. Make purchase for project stock -> Account determination 'Q'.
    2. GR for project stock at the time of delivery
    3. Logistic Invoice posting (? - at this time, or at the end of the process?)
    3. GI for project costs (Material Movement 221Q). -> I assume, that consumption of goods are for the same project.
    Maybe, it helps.
    regards,
    w.
