Autologin as user, auto run application as admin

Hello, I am just trying to figure our if there is a solution for my problem. I do not want to give the user full admin rights.
Every time when Windows Server 2012 reboots, I need a user to login automatically and one of the applications should run.
I am able to login after server reboots, the problem is with application. It has to run with full admin rights. If I try to configure to always run it as administrator, it asks for the admin's password. It should run automatically, so I cannot
enter the password after reboot.
Any ideas? Or should I give the user full admin rights? I do not want to do this.

you should only allow an application that you trust to run as administrator because the application will have full access to your computer.
If you don’t want to
configure an application to always run as an administrator, you can right-click the application’s shortcut

Hi,
I am looking for a solution to avoid users (they do not have admin rights and they are AD accounts) to run applications they download from the web.
If they download a dmg file they can run the application (app file) inside the dmg without having to install it.
For security reasons, I would like to stop that.

Is one of the Application folders in your Home folder and one in the root level (/Applications) of your drive. Usually, Applications are installed to /Applications, not in Users/yourname/Applications.
Or, is it a subfolder of your Applications folder? In other words /Applications/Applications.
First let's copy those folders to removable media for safety, if you don't already have a backup.
Either way you need to check carefully which Applications are real and which are alias. The is an arrow icon on aliases and when you "Get Info" (command - i) or just Preview in Finder, the "kind" will be "alias". Round up the "real" Apps and put them in /Applications. When all are copied into Applications, delete Users/yourname/Applications.

1. auto run on scheduled time
2. immediately run after the server restart

if you use the solution with the crontab your java program is monitored. if the program crashes the cron starts it again. put you have to write a shellscript to start the javaprogram and to check out the program already runs.
here a little script to start

the crontab entry:

the 5 starts mean:
minute,hour, day,month,day of week -> look at the man page (man 5 crontab)
to edit the crontab use the command crontab -e under the useraccount where the program should run.
to write a startscript (rc-Script) you can look at the skeleton-file. normaly it is in /etc/rc.d. name skeleton.
copy that file and edit it. after that link the file to the runlevel-directory.

Auto running applications at start up...

I'm reasonably new to macs. I've got a couple of small 'menu bar' apps that I would like Mac OS X to auto-run whenever I boot my MBP up.

Auto Run Application On Network Connect

I have a very simple application that I created in Automator. I want this application to automatically run only after I connect to a *particular wireless network*. I want this all to happen in the back ground (hence the "automatic". Is there any way to do this?
In case it helps, it is an application that mounts a network drive. I want this program to run only when I connect to the network that has the drive connected to it.

If you shutdown your computer you should get a dialog asking if you want applications to resume on the next startup. Simply uncheck the box to prevent that from occurring. Open General preferences and uncheck the option to Restore windows when quitting and re-opening apps. You can also install a third-party utility to control resume features on individual applications: RestoreMeNot or Application State Cleaner.
It is possible to completely stop the Resume feature although I'm unconvinced that it is that annoying. Nevertheless see the following:
If you have not yet done so you must first make your /Home/Library/ folder visible. Open the Terminal application in the Utilities folder. At the prompt paste the following command line:
chflags nohidden ~/Library
Press RETURN. Quit the Terminal application.
In the Finder navigate to the /Home/Library/Saved Application State/ folder. Delete the contents of the folder. Back up to the /Home/Library/ folder. Select the Saved Application State folder. Press COMMAND-I to open the Get Info window. In the Sharing and Permissions panel at the bottom click on the lock icon and authenticate. Set each of the listed entries to Read Only. Close the Get Info window.
Quit all open programs except the Finder (this is very important.) Next, navigate to the /Home/Library/Preferences/ByHost/ folder. Look for a .plist file with "com.apple.loginwindow." in the file name followed by some numbers in hexadecimal. Select the file. Press COMMAND-I to open the Get Info window and in the Sharing and Permissions panel click on the lock icon and authenticate. Set each of the listed entries to Read Only. Close the Get Info window. If you also find a file with the same filename but with a last extension of ".lockfile," then you should delete it.
The above should eliminate the Resume feature system-wide. Note that any future system updates or upgrades will likely undo these changes. You will then need to repeat this procedure assuming there are no major changes in OS X related to it.

Auto-run Application After Bluetooth Connection *solved*

I was wondering if there was a way to immediately run an application after establishing a connection to a specific Bluetooth device.
For example, I have a DualShock 4, and there's an application out there that lets you customize the LED and use the touchpad to control the mouse. I would like it if this application would run as soon as I am connected to this controller. I don't want it to run when I establish a connection to just any Bluetooth device.
Does anybody know of a way I can do this? I'd rather not use cron, since it's a bit slow and this is something that only needs to happen once.
If it matters, I'm using KDE.

Allow a windows non-administrator user to run cmd.exe as administrator without sharing administrator password with the user

I have standalone Windows 2003 and 2008 Oracle database servers (they are not in a Windows domain environment ). The Oracle DBAs can perform all their routine activities from command line with administrator privileges. For this i've to either share administrator
user password with the Oracle DBAs or add their windows login user to Administrators group. If i can give the DBA user permission to run windows command prompt without sharing administrator password, i can give them non-administrator login access to Windows
2003/2008 server. Normally when a non administrator user would try to run a program as administrator on Windows 2008, the user is prompted to input administrator username/password. Is it possible to give non-admin user access to run a program/application (cmd.exe

I want to develop a Servlet application that auto run on the server everyday.
The application should be satisfy the following requirement:

First, very thanks to all of you.
To sum up the idea, I have 2 ways
1. Use "crontab" to schedule application to run. (I'm using Linux with Tomcat)
2. Place the application in thread.
Which one is better ? And, I'm new to crontab. Is this possible to set the CLASSPATH and run application by using crontab. Now, i'm trying set CLASSPATH in crontab, but still not success.
If I use 2, place the application in thread. How to auto run application after the server restart ?

How to give permission to user to run and install application like data card or modem

Hi,
when a standard user try to use an Data card (airtel 3G Dongle), windows 7 prompts for a administrator password to run the application.
I have to go and type admin password each time when that person uses the dongle. Is there any way that i can give permission for that user account only to run that application without admin password.
I don't want to add him to administrator group and then it will be a mess.
please help me out here............

I would check to see if there is software that can be downloaded to the PC from the manufacturer. I am assuming your device is a "plug and play" device. The manufacturer might still have the device drivers for install on their website.
Installing the drivers manually should alleviate the problem
Otherwise, you can make the changes in Group Policy to solve the problem

hi i am developing this application and we are deploying silently to some user's machine. Also i tried to use ACT and shim it as "Run as admin","Run as involker","Run as highest"but nothing works so far. so dont know which option to use. Any registry capture
would be good? or can i know how to apply shim?
I am following the route like
1) create the shim.
2) install application
3) run as standard user. or 1) install application 2) install shim 3) run as standard user.

Any program installed in the /Applications folder (at the top level of the hard drive) should by default be accessible to all other users, except when access for a specific user has been blocked with Parental Controls.

SAP will tell me the message : manually run AFAB to adjust diff. data.
So. have any user exist .
I can insert ABAP code to AUTO. run the AFAB. before AW01n, or after Asset create (AS91) ?

We implemented Fixed Assets in SAP March 1, 2009. We set our transfer
date to 2/28/09. Our tax department has a need to make changes to the
depreciation lives and methods of assets that were capitalized in
2008. We have used the Mass Change functionality to make the changes
but can't get the depreciation to recalculate based on these new lives
and methods. Transaction code AFAR (program RAAFAR00) does not allow
us to recalculate depreciation for 2008. We found OSS Note 646691 and
applied it to our DEV system. This note allowed us to change the year
in table T093B to 2007 thus allowing the recalculation of depreciation
to take place. We then applied the note to our TST system working our
way up to PRD but the recalculation program does not do anything in
TST. We don't get an error message or anything it just does not
recalculate the depreciation at all. Is there another note that I need
to apply in order to get this Note working correctly.
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Application auto run

I have write a application in C language,and I want it could auto run with os boot. I write a start script, placed it in the directory /etc/init.d. There also I created a hard link in the directory /etc/rc3.d, and the link file named "S99XXXX", but the app can not auto run, what is the wrong with?

I think that having the startup script (or link) for your app in the /etc/rc3.d is a good idea. This will let you boot to run level 2, have all your network services running, but keep your app down. Makes things easier for testing/patching/whatever.
To answer your question though, I'd try to run the script by hand. Check various for permissions (read and execute) and ensure that you have any needed environment variables set at the beginning of the script. These variables have bit me pleanty of times.
As you probably know, your script will get run with a "start" option. Hopefully, your script isn't expecting a different option.
