Automate several table download in csv format from Oracle database

Hi All, I am new to Oracle database usage and currently using SQL Developer and PL/SQL for my day to day work. Please help me with the below.
Currently I am querying a table for few columns and using EXPORT facility from Query Result tab. However, I want to do this for several tables. If possible I would like to keep all these table downloads as overnight job. Is there a way to do this?

I guess you should post this in the SQL Developer forums. However; if you don't mind using other tools I have an idea: recently a feature has been added to the free mod_owa module to output a ref cursor in various formats; e.g. in CSV:

so in essence you'd need a stored procedure returning ref cursors and an apache with the module configured. You'd simply have to do HTTP Requests and store the response in a file.

I would like to download my internal table records in CSV format without any manual formating.
It is easy to concatenate internal table fields into a string with ',' seperator. But I would like to do in a better way that this becasue of more number of fields in my internal table.
Could you someone help me in this, I have searched in this form for help I found few function modules which did not help me.

TYPES:
BEGIN OF TY_FILE,
DATA TYPE STRING,
END OF TY_FILE.
DATA: IT_FILE TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF TY_FILE,
WA_FILE TYPE TY_FILE.
LOOP AT ITAB INTO WA.
CONCATENATE WA-F1 WA-F2 ... WA-FN SEPARATED BY ',' INTO WA_FILE.
APPEND WA_FILE TO IT_FILE.
CLEAR WA_FILE.
ENDLOOP.

I have plenty of reports being formated to excel with this same method so it should work for you, the only diference with my previous code is this line.

The rest remains untouched.

How to view data in tables by selecting the synonym from the database objec

I could not figure out how to view data in tables by selecting the synonym from the database objects navigation tree. I had to first choose the synonym, view the details of the synonym to determine the table name, and then select the table from the database objects tree. Is this the only way available?

This functionality currently does not exist. I don't see it on the 1.1 statement of direction either, so perhaps someone from Oracle can give some insight as to when this could be expected.

Empty CLOB field value from Oracle database using JDBC Sender

Hi All,
I am selecting a CLOB field from Oracle database table using JDBC Sender adapter and getting error "NullPointerException"
Seen SAP note 1283089 but its not applicable for my support pack PI 7.0 SP 12 and client dont want to upgrdate SP 17 right now.
I tried rpad(1,0)Column_Name funciton in JDBC select query but it selcting blank value for every record even those having some value for this CLOB field so not useful
Could anybody suggest possible way? client dont want to change anything at database side.

What is the Oracle driver version installed? You might need to install 10.x driver if not already using it.
