"Automatic conversion performed to update your ActionScript to Flash 2004"

Hello,
I am curious if anyone else has encountered the following:
quote:
Automactic conversion performed to update your ActionScript
to Flash MX 2004:
* The old string congatenation operator '&' was converted
to 'add'
quote:
Automactic conversion performed to update your ActionScript
to Flash MX 2004:
* Functions were converted to the new recommended case (e.g.
GetProperty-->getProperty)
quote:
Automactic conversion performed to update your ActionScript
to Flash MX 2004:
* x op y was converted to Number(x) op Number(y) for
operators +, <, >, <=, >=, =, and <>
These appeared inside the output window about a half an hour
ago and I have never seen them before. They appeared after I tested
a movie (control + enter) inside the production environment. I ran
searches on Macromedia's website, forums, and Google on the opening
statement and they did not return any results.
I am using ActionScript 2.0 in Flash MX Professional 2004 on
the PC.
Thanks for any help or insight.

You're awesome LuigiL,
No, the file was created in Flash MX Professional 2004 as a
Flash 7 file. It was never saved down or saved up.
As for CPU cooking, that could be something. I am in the U.S.
but I was debugging this at the time:
quote:
256 levels of recursion were exceeded in one action list.
This is probably an infinite loop.
Further execution of actions has been disabled in this movie.
I left the test movie running in the background while I was
hitting up the boards for what was an 'action list'. After about
five to ten minutes of searching I came back to Flash and saw those
messages in the output window. I think I am going to test this
again--since I have yet to fix my original problem--to see if I can
recreate it.
Thanks for your help so far!

Hello , Recently my company purchased a Fujifilm X30 . We were surprised that Adobe has not updated the plug in for this camera. Since we are your customers, we would like to know, when they will perform this update ? For us it is very important to work with all our tools work quickly and efficiently, I guess I understand.
    We await your response .

  • Automatic conversions...A Bug? or just a feature(How to turn it off?)

I Using TS 3.0(.0.12373) I seem to have stubbled over a annoying 'feature' which I can't turn off...Any one got ant ideas.......
Every sequence file I load(eg from the \examples\) when When loaded the '*' appears next to the file name indicating a change has happend. When closing the file TS asked "......file modified due to automatic conversions TestStand performed when loading file".
The only change that happened to the .seq file is a change to the Path, timestamps, and Version(From 3.0.0.12373 in the original to 3.0.0.12374 in the Updated one) at certain points in the file (found using a examine differences program ExamDiff.exe) examples below.
Any ideas how this feature is switched on,
and more importantly how to switch it off?
    Cheers

    Wojtek -
It appears that somehow you have edited an NI type and incremented the version number. Your debug work was correct, so looking at the sequence file you will notice that the following sections have a changed version number:
    [Action]
    %VERSION = "3.0.0.12374"
    [Error]
    %VERSION = "3.0.0.12374"
Basically TestStand assumes that the newly edited NI type superceeds the one the TestStand finds in the sequence file. For most NI types, the default copy is stored in the type palette files and these probably have the 3.0.0.12374 version. Depending on which NI type was edited, a copy of the newly edited type might also be in the INI files that TestStand uses in the Cfg directory.
In TestStand 2.x if a user attempted to
edit an NI type instead of creating your own copy of the type, the sequence editor would warn them and suggest not editing the NI type. In TestStand 3.0, we wanted to be more strict and not allow editing of NI types at all, but the code did not work properly when released and instead it allows anyone to edit NI types without a warning. TestStand 3.1 now propertly prevents the editing of NI types.
What I recommend is to search all INI files under TestStand and all your sequence files for the '%VERSION = "3.0.0.12374"' text and hand edit them to replace this text with '%VERSION = "3.0.0.12373"'. This should address the issue for you.
If you have sent sequence files to others, and you do not want them to see the automatic conversion issue, their files should also be hand edited. Sorry for the inconvenience.
    Sincerely,
    Scott Richardson (NI)

  • I have taken off/turned off iCloud on my mac mini but when I write an email   and use contacts it will convert a non iCloud email to and iCloud email automatically.  I really don't want this. Any way to stop this automatic conversion?

I have taken off/turned off iCloud on my mac mini (OS 10.8) but when I send an email and use contacts , it will convert the non - iCloud email to an iCloud email automatically.  Anyway to stop this automatic conversation?

    Robert...
the iCloud webserver wont accept my password for a .mac login, nor will it allow me to change it
See if you can change your password >  Apple - My Apple ID
If that doesn't help, launch iTunes on your computer.
From the iTunes menu bar click iTunes / Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Click: Reset warnings and Reset cache
    Click OK.
    Restart your computer.
    If that that doesn't help...
Moreover, when I try to go into my .mac account on the web,
Delete all apple cookies and empty your browser cache.
See if  you can access your account at iCloud.com

  • Many Ways to Update Your Firmware

The reasons for a firmware update differ from printer to printer, however the instructions listed on the website are basically the same.  Some firmware updates are required to resolve a specific issue, others enhance features but are not required.  You will often find a list for what the firmware enhances or fixes listed on your product's support website under the firmware's download link (continue reading for more information).
One method to determine if your product is up-to-date is to print a Printer Status Report or test report within the printer's setup menu which should indicate which firmware version the printer currently has.  Next, go to the printer's support website at www.support.hp.com and type in your product name to look under the drivers' section in order to see if your firmware version matches the most recent one found on the website.
I have found a very useful tool to help you find out, not only if your product is in need of a firmware update, but also it will locate the serial number, product number, your current operating system and system type as well as the warranty status.
--Automatically find HP Updates using HP Product Detection Utility (Google Chrome)--
--Automatically find HP Updates using HP Product Detection Utility (Internet Explorer)--
If you have ePrint functionality on your printer or a web-services menu within the front panel, in the ePrint settings, clicking Product Updates can quickly install the firmware, however, from a personal perspective, I would recommend ensuring the printer is connected via USB or Ethernet to avoid risk of the update being interrupted as this can cause permanent damage to the printer, rendering it useless.  This method may inform you no product updates are available so it is good practice to use my example above to be certain. Lastly, this will only work if your printer is connected to the network (Ethernet or wireless).
To update your firmware from your printer (these instructions were taken from the Officejet 6500A Plus):
"For easier use, HP recommends installing the firmware update through the product control panel instead of downloading the firmware update from this page. If your product is connected though a network (Wireless or Ethernet), you can easily and quickly install the firmware update directly through the product control panel. You must have an active Internet connection.
If you choose to download the firmware update from this page, your product must be connected through a USB connection.
Follow these steps to install the firmware update through the product control panel:
    1.  On the product control panel, touch the Right Arrow to display the second navigation screen.
    2.  Touch Setup, and then touch the Down Arrow to display the Web Services Setup Menu.
    3.  Touch Web Services Setup.
    4.  Touch the Down Arrow to select Product Updates.
    5.  Touch Check for Product Updates."
Using the downloaded version from the website will ensure a secure connection and will require a PC.  You will find, your operating system will determine the type of firmware update you receive at the website.  That is why the above suggestion may work in some instances but not all.
To update your firmware from your PC:
Initial Step: go to www.hp.com/support and select the region you live in.  Under the Drivers and Download Tab, type in the name or model number of your printer and press enter.  Next, you will need to know the operating system of your device you intend to use to install the firmware update.  Click here to discover your operating system.
Firmware Update Instructions (these instructions were taken from the LaserJet P1102w):
"*Please use a 2 meter (6 foot) USB High speed (2.0) cable.
1.Download the firmware update utility file to your desktop. Double click on the file.
    2. Select the printer(s) you want to update from the list.
    3. Click on the "Update All" or "Update One" button in the dialog window.
    4. Following the on-screen instruction to proceed the upgrade. During the printer firmware update, the printer's LEDs will begin flashing.
    5. Do NOT power cycle the printer or the PC during this process, or the printer may become unstable and/or unusable without further attention from HP. The firmware update can take several minutes to complete. Please be patient.
    6. To verify the update, a configuration page can be printed. The configuration page will display the current firmware revision in the product information section.
Notes: If the firmware was already up to date, firmware was not altered. Otherwise, the Utility will display a dialog box at the conclusion of the successful firmware download indicating the download is complete."
LaserJet utilities are different than the common smaller printers.  It is best to contact HP Support for assistance if you are not able to understand the difference by visiting the printer's business support website.  Large printers can come in such an array of setup options, from servers to software, what may apply to one setup may not apply to another yet it could contain the same printer.  If you have a commercial product, you may find additional assistance at the HP Enterprise Business Community which is an HP forum specific to those kinds of models.
I feel certain I just do not have enough bandwidth to go into even a general perspective on the different specifications of how to update the firmware of your commercial product.
To update your firmware through the EWS: Some models allow you to update the device through what is called the embedded web server (EWS).  You can access this page of your printer by setting up the printer on a network (Wireless or Ethernet connection) and typing in the established IP address of it into the address bar of a web-browser (example: http:\192.168.1.101).
Click here to view a forum post on how to update your printer through its EWS.
System Requirements:  Ultimately no additional prerequisites are needed beyond what I have explained above.  You are required to have already installed the software specific to your printer for most firmware updates though.  Once you click on the firmware update link provided at the website, you will see which operating systems it applies to, however, some updates are not needed for all operating systems.  For example, a software patch may be a critical update for a computer running XP but would have no affect on a computer with Windows 8 or Mac.
I have provided this information in order to explain a few of the techniques used to update your printer to its fullest capacity.  However, I have found through experience it is good practice to have an HP technician on the phone to assist you with this.  Sometimes the worse has happened in regards to power outages, "blips" in the network, or just bad luck and this step has caused the printer to go into a state that it cannot return from.  The terminology used to possibly revert back to a state prior to the firmware update is called "flashing the firmware" and this is only done via phone support and isn't a guaranteed fix.
I do hope you find this information useful as this is a question I have seen many times on the forums.  This is simply a summary of the many ways to update your firmware in case one of the methods above are not working.  For a more specific description, access the firmware link you are trying to update and read it carefully or click here to link to another forum post.

  • I can not perform software updates or download any programs. They appear in the download box as images that are not recognized. How can I fix this?

I can not perform software updates or download any programs. They appear in the download box as images that are "not recognized". I thought maybe my antivirus software was setting up a firewall, but I have disabled it, so that's not the case. Any suggestions as to  how I can fix this?

If the downloads are gone, it's possible that Windows is removing the downloads based on security policies set in IE. I realize that sounds strange, but it's related to Firefox's feature of submitting downloads to your virus scanner and marking them as having come from the internet.
To test this theory, you could try disabling the scan feature. I assume you have good "real time" antivirus protection which checks every file saved to your hard drive. (If not, you really should get that, and you can use Microsoft's free [http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/products/security-essentials Microsoft Security Essentials] for now until you have time to review all the available choices.)
    (1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
    (2) In the filter box, type or paste '''scan''' and pause while the list is filtered
    (3) Double-click '''browser.download.manager.scanWhenDone''' to toggle its value.
Firefox now should ignore Windows' download security. Does it change how Windows handles the file?

  • HT4589 should I install each update in successive order? Or will installing the 10.7 update automatically install every previous update?  I have FCPX 10.0.0 currently. Dumb question?

should I install each update in successive order? Or will installing the 10.7 update automatically install every previous update?  I have FCPX 10.0.0 currently. Dumb question?

Installing 10.0.7 negates the need to install previous updates. Just install it (it will upgrade your projects to a newer format as well, from memory).
Thankfully, the days of doing it the way you were thinking are well behind us.

  • "Itunes has stopped updating your podcast" message -- is there away around?

When new podcasts are downloaded into Itunes, I transfer them straight to my ipod. I don't play them in Itunes.
As a result, I have to tell Itunes that I DO want to continue downloading new files - for every podcast to which I subscribe, on a recurring basis.
Seems to me that transferring the file shows signs of interest - same as playing.
Is there a way to set Itunes to treat a transfer to the ipod the same as playing it?

You're right, there is no way to turn off this asinine, infuriating feature. It's this kind of thing that drove me away from Windows and made me so happy when I got a Mac. I felt like I didn't have to fight the Windows Big Brother anticipating my needs and only allowing me to do things in a way that Windows wanted me to.
Anyways, there is a partial solution, although its pretty sad compared to how easy it would be if Apple included a little checkbox in the options menu that said "Do you want iTunes to stop downloading your podcasts if you listen to them in any other way than on iTunes, even if you listen to them on your (Apple) iPod?". Go to http://www.dougscripts.com and check out the NeedleDrop script. It will let you automatically play 1 second or so of each podcast in your directory. You can then tell iTunes to update your podcasts and it will retrieve all of them, as it should anyways. One downside is that you'll have to run the NeedleDrop script every so often to update the playcount of your podcasts. Another downside, if you're a Windows user, is that the AppleScript will only work on Mac.
As a tangent (read "rant"), iTunes is becoming really annoying lately. For starters, the interface has been looking more and more repulsively Windows-esque for the last few versions. Just recently, when I updated to the latest version of iTunes, it took me a week or so to delete the previous version because there was an application called "iTunes Helper" that wouldn't close. It didn't appear in the list of processes on my computer. Finally I found that it was a startup item in my list of startup programs. After disabling it, I was finally able to delete the old version of iTunes. Now iTunes doesn't update my podcasts if I don't listen to them in a way that iTunes deems fit. What is going on? Ugly interface, hidden processes, uncontrollable "features". Is Apple outsourcing their development to Microsoft or something?

  • How to Manually Perform software Updates and tips for making Macbook better

Hi. So recently my internet was really slow. I figured the problem out and now is working well. Although the youtube site does not allow me to view entire videos.
Well...i was told that since my macbook is turned off at night, it cant perform software updates between 3am-6am...so how can i do these manually? or how can i change the update time to sometime in the evening?
I heard these software updates are suppose to make the macbook run and perform better. what other things can i do to accomplish that?
(Laymans terms, im new to the mac world)

Select Software Update from the Apple menu. Or download the standalone updaters from Apple's download site - http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/. Or simply set the Check for Updates option in Software Update to whatever frequency you prefer. SU will notify you when updates are available.

  • Automatic conversion

    Hi,
I would like to now if SAP KM can handle automatic conversion to a neutral documents formats (like PDF).
TREX converts all the documents to HTML but this result is not available as a document in the portal (only when you use the HTML version link in the search results). I would like this result (HTML, PDF or some other format) as a new document...
Who can help me out here?
    Thanks!

    Hello Simon,
as far as I know, there's no mechanism in KM to convert documents automatically.
But there is a business package called "Business Package for Web Editing"
(find it <a href="https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/developerareas/contentportfolio">here</a> by searching for 'web editing').
This package contains a KM Service that convertes office documents to HTML-Files automatically using the "save as html"-functionality of MS Office. The result is quite excellent.
Unfortunately this package is developed by SAP Consulting and they charge a fee for it.
Please reward points, if this helped to solve your problem,
    Carsten

  • Process does not perform an update.

I have this PL/SQL process in my page:
    UPDATE tag_order
    SET order_date = SYSDATE
    WHERE order_number = :P16_Order_Number;
    COMMIT;
Unfortunately, it does not perform the update. What could be wrong?
FYI: In order to get to the page where this process is located, you first go to a page that contains an Interactive Report region (Page 15). When you click on one of the rows in that report region, page 16 is loaded and the :P16_Order_Number item is loaded with the order number from the report page. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with the problem, but I mention it because :P16_Order_Number is referenced in the update statement. Could it be that its session state is not set?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for your responses. Your answer seems perfectly logical, unfortunately, it did not work.
I made a copy of P16_Order_Number and called it P16_Order_Number_Visible and made it a 'Display as Text'.
Then I changed P16_Order_Number to 'Hidden' The report was already set up to set P16_Order_Number to Order_Number, so nothing had to be changed there, or in the Process that referenced P16_Order_Number, since it is now referencing the Hidden item.
But when I ran it, loaded page 16 and clicked Session, P16_Order_Number had the correct value 172, but P16_Order_Number_Visible had no value, even though its Source has been set to P16_Order_Number and the value 172 was actually displayed from P16_Order_Number_Visible on page 16.
Furthermore, the update did not work. So what is wrong here?
    Thanks.

  • Automatic conversion of planned orders

    Hi PP Gurus,
I have a requirement to convert planned orders to production orders automatically. I believe SAP standard does not offer this functionality.
The possible solution seems to be writing new program which could be a copy of C041 transaction code.
Did someone ever worked on this functionality?
Request to share your experience and possibilities on this - Thanks
    Regards
    Seshu

    Dear Seshu,
In my understanding there is no T Code for making the conversion of planned order into a production order as an automatic
    process.
But you can use the T code CO41 for converting a list of planned order's into production orders.
In many cases the planned order is only a proposal and only after converting it into a production order and releasing it then the
exact shop floor activities starts like Good's issue. This activity is done by a production scheduler. So in case if you develop a
program to convert automatically, then reservation gets generated for all the production orders, which is not recommended.
    Also check this link,
    http://www.sap-img.com/production/automatic-conversion-to-production-orders.htm
    Check and revert back.

  • My MacBook Pro OS X 10.5.3 cannot perform software update

My MacBook Pro OS X 10.5.3 cannot perform software update. Installation freezes at "configuring installation" stage. I have tried installing OS X 10.5.4, 10.5.6, and 10.5.8 combos. Disk utility says my HD is OK. ???????

    Greetings,
If you haven't done so already, backup all your important data: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1553
Unplug any peripherals (printers, hard drives, cameras etc.) from the computer leaving only the power cord.
Try repairing disk permissions if you haven't already: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1452
Put your computer into Safe Boot: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1455 -- STOP -- Check your available hard drive space while in  Safe Boot.  If you do not have at least 10 GB free (and really more is better) then you need to free up some space (copy movies off to an external drive, delete the 30 GB of music you never listen to, etc.)  If you have 10 or more GB available on disk proceed.
Install the Mac OS X 10.5.8 combo update while still in Safe Boot.
If you still can't install try reseting the PRAM (very occasionally disk cacheing issues can prevent large installations for succeeding): http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1379
If the issue persists at this point and you have plenty of free hard drive space then your next step would be an Archive and Install: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1710 -- You want a backup for safekeeping before you do this (see step 1)
    Hope that helps.

  • Dependent tables automatic conversion during transport (SE14?)

    Hello all,
I have changed the length of our custom ZATLAPC1 attribute of 0MATERIAL from 2 to 3 (data type = NUMC).
When I tried to activate this attribute in the development system - it asked me to go SE14 transaction and convert /BI0/PMATERIAL and /BIC/SZATLAPC1 tables.
    So that helped.
But when I transported this change to the test system - the transport failed saying structures changed at field level.
I could only open the system for changes, went to SE14 to convert tables and activate infoobject.
This solution is not really elegant to transport this change to production in order to do manual changes there.
Any one can help me if there is a better option? Is there any possibility the transport will convert dependent tables automatically?

    Hi,
when activating your IObj in DEV the system has complained asking you to convert the underlying tables. You should accept this prompt; you will then be directed directly to SE14 where you manually adjust the tables. Then you would have gone back to your RSD1 screen and activate it again. The system would have prompted successively the same for each table to be converted.
If you go by yourself in SE14 (out of RSD1), the "adjustment" won't be "transported automatically".
Usually the transport does that automatically for simple changes. In your case it would have worked if ZATLAPC1 wouldn't have been an attr of your 0MATERIAL I guess; at least in my case, the transport has nearly always taken care of this conversion automatically.
    hope this shed some light...
    Olivier.
