  • Automatic Creation of Business Partner from Customer

    Hello,
I'm creating automatically BP using Tcode FLBPD1 (singular) and MDS_LOAD_COCKPIT (massive).
I don't want to see some fields of customers in BP master data. Is it possible exclude this data before execute automatical creation?
    Thanks!
    Best Regards!
    Nicola

    Hi David,
If you are creating customers from BP. i.e. first the BP will get created and then customer gets created, the way system behaves is that it creates the BP and get a number is generated for it, then it goes and create a customer with the same number by passing the number already created as BP.
So the number range for BP should be internal and for the customer account group should be external. you might need to create a different customer account group for REFX customers.
Assumption: same number range tick is selected in the assignment where we assign the BP group and customer account group.

  • Automatic creation of business partners in Solution Manager system in Charm

When I automatically create business partners in the Solution Manager system from the users in the satellite systems, they are created of type "Business Partner (Gen)" and they are not associated to the user with the same name id in the Solution Manager system, but they are connected to the remote users in the satellite systems. For this reason I change manually every business partner making it of type "employee" and connecting it to the user in the Solution Manager system. In this way I can use it like partner function. Is this the correct procedure to follow? If not, what do I have to do? Which is the correct way to generate business partners in the Solution Manager system from the users in the satellite systems?
    Thanks
    Antonello

    Hi,
It is advisable to have the same login name for the satellite systems and SOLMAN user.
Business partner can be created thru tcode DSWP -> Select Solution -> Edit -> Create business partner.
You need to create a business partner only once by the above method, even if you have a number of satellite systems.
Once the BP is created , go to tcode BP -> select the business partner -- > In the Identification Tab, enter the systems which will be accessed by the user. Here you can also give the SLM system ID in addition to the other satellite systems.
The employee connection process which you do is correct

  • Automatic creation of Business Partner

Is it possible to create business partner master data automatically in SAP FSCD when the claim payment is generated from Non-SAP claim system, if yes then how do we set this up.

    Hi Jon,
    Appreciate your feedback on this.
My idea is not to provide specific function modules but to give an approach in solving a problem or satisfying a requirement.
Here I have cited some examples of FMs to help out. There may be many more depending on the version and release level.
    for e.g
taking the example of finding relevant BAPIs to create BPs. We can proceed to SE37 and typing BUPA* and on hitting F4 will bring up a list of create BAPIs which are many in number and it is up to the SAP consultants to choose the relevant ones depending upon the requirement or issue faced.
The more methodical way is to navigate to transaction BAPI-> Cross Application Objects, another way is to proceed to SW01 -> BUS1006 -> Methods.
As you can see there are even various ways to proceed and find BAPIs... in the same way there are various FMs to satisfy a requirement or resolve an issue.
Anyways I hope that the BAPIs which you have recommended works out in the best possible manner
    Thanks,
    Sagar

  • Business Partner in Service Desk can only be selected via F4

Please help me find the error. It seems that everything has been configured ok, but if you type in the BP number directly in the field "processor", there is the error message "business partner 201 can not be the message processor". If you select the same bp number via F4, there is no error message. What's wrong?
BP has been defined as employee.

    Hi,
Use BP_GEN transaction code then go to userlist->Add system select solman system which shows all users in that then select the user by double click then goto Edit->create business parterner. This will create user as BP user automatically with required values. Hope this helps to avoid error. I have tested but working fine when I enter BP number and press enter.
    Thanks,
    Ajay.

  • No users are shown for Service Desk functionality in SOLMAN  4.0

    Hello!
I would like to set up the business partners for Service Desk in SAP Solution Manager.
If I choose the solution and execute "Edit --> Create Business partner" for the SAP R/3 4.7 then I get the warning “no users are shown under the system”.
For the SAP SRM 5.0 I get only one user (SOLMAN<SID><CLNT>), meanwhile I set the data selection to blank.
I also copied the user account of  SOLMAN<SID><CLNT> to the user test with no success.
I have assigned the Object S_RFC_ and S_USER_GRP.
The users have also the profile SAP_ALL.
How can this problem be solved?
    Thank you very much!

    Thank you very much!
    The problem is solved!
Im my case was necessary to apply SAP Note 1055630.
I have assigned the role "SAP_SM_S_USER_GRP" to the user with RFC_READ connection, refreshed the last alert in DSWP and tha is.

I would like to set up the business partners for Service Desk in SAP Solution Manager.
If I choose the solution and execute "Edit --> Create Business partner"
no users are shown under the system.
Especially for the SAP R/3 4.7 system it is the case.
If I change the data selection for an earlier time or leave blank, the situation does not change, meanwhile I have enough users in the satellitesystems.

    Hi,
    Answering your question!
Ans. 1. Either user should have SAP_ALL + S_RFC.. it is very important to have S_RFC object. SAP excluded S_RFC from SAP_ALL for the security reason.
or , any user should have authority to create and delete users + S_RFC, S_RFCACL & S_T-CODE.. I just did my setup, so I remember after searching for long long....
    Ans. 2. you need the following RFC's for sattelite system;
    >>> SM_<SID>CLNT(CLIENT#)_READ
    >>> SM_<SID>CLNT(CLIENT#)_TRUSTED
    >>> SM_<SID>CLNT(CLIENT#)_TMW
you should see them in solman sm59.... make sure you use proper user with proper OBJECT. other wise, u'll see bunch of dumps every hour.. Let me know if you need any other help!!
    Thanks,
I hope this will fix your problem

  • Active Directory integration with Service Desk and Busines Partners

We have populated the business partners in Service Desk with data from Windows Active Directory, but this was a one-time import.
At the moment if there are any changes to Active Directory then the business partner records need to be updated manually.
Does anybody know if anyway to integrate Active Directory with the business partner records in Service Desk?
    Thanks
    Simon

    This was also our problem.
We have multiple user sources (an LDAP, ADS, different SAP systems). I'm not aware of any automated way of doing that.
If you want to use issue management/service desk all the users need to also be created as SU01-users to be able to use the workcenters. The SU01-Users have also to be assigned to the appropriate business partner. There is no automation for this.
For us this drawback was so big that we stopped using the service desk.

  • Automatic EMAIL creation upon CRM_ORDER creation (SOLMAN Service Desk)

    Hi All,
We configured Service Desk in Solution manager and that uses CRM functionality. We created a ACTION PROFILE from copy of standard SLF00001 and created an entry for ACTION DEFINITION Z_SEND_MAIL_TEAM_ON_CREATION with all settings for automatic issuing.
    SCHEDULE AUTOMATICALLY = X
    PARTNER DEPENDENT = SLFN0003
Determination Technology           Determination Using Conditions that Can Be T
    Rule Type                          Workflow Conditions
Action Merging                     Set Highest Number of Processed Actions
With the proper Processing type SMARTFORMS below:
    Form Name                   Z_SD_NEW_NOTIF_01
    Processing Class            CL_DOC_PROCESSING_CRM_ORDER
    Processing Method           CRM_ORDER_EXEC_SMART_FORM
    Archive Mode                1 Mail Only
THE WHOLE QUESTION is about the condition I put to it. I created a start condition called "When new service desk message is created" and put the following condition
    &CRM Service Process.User Status&          =              E0001SLFN0001
I know it is not ideal to identify if it is a message creation but it should suffice.
The problem is that once the message gets created, I get the following in the actions tab in the message:
    - The message gets in status YELLOW (NOT PROCESSED), but the START CONDITION E0001SLFN0001 is EXACLTY the same value I have in CONDITION PARAMETERS.
Any idea why the message is not getting triggered?
    The log has the following:
Action Z_SEND_MAIL_TEAM_ON_CREATION (Send Email to Support team on creation)
1 conditions for action Z_SEND_MAIL_TEAM_ON_CREATION were read
Condition 1 returns an action template
Number of action templates from the determination: 1
Action is partner dependent, partner determination is performed
    1 partner(s) found
Action Z_SEND_MAIL_TEAM_ON_CREATION type MAI was generated and added
Action Merging: One Unprocessed Action with Equality Check
An identical action has been determined again
Action Z_SEND_MAIL_TEAM_ON_CREATION of type MAI is kept
    Help is appreciated.
    Thanks
    Leonardo De Araujo

    Thanks.
I also found this: Note 1041455 Partner dependant actions are not executed
By the way, I assume that if I want to debug the Process method of the process type, I need to set it to 1 (as you said) and run the report. Otherwise the breakpoint is not reached.
    What is the report name?
    Thanks

  • Automatic Message Processor Assignment In Service Desk Message

    Dear Expert,
We have configured Service Desk as per the web log in the following link
    [/people/bruyneel.guillaume/blog/2008/05/02/service-desk-implementation-guide-part-i|/people/bruyneel.guillaume/blog/2008/05/02/service-desk-implementation-guide-part-i]
Everything is working fine. We have set the rule as per SAP Component assignment.
Now every thing is working fine aprt from Message Processor assignment. Even it is picking up
the correct support team but not the Message Processor included in that team.
    Regards,
    Partha

    Hello Partha,
    In that article it states:
Assign Business Partner to iBase Components.
IMG Path: SAP Solution Manager Implementation Guide -> SAP Solution Manager -> Configuration -> Basic Settings -> Standard Configuration of Basic Settings -> Solution Manager -> iBase -> Assign Business Partners to iBase Components.
To be able to assign automatically some type of partner to the message transaction, we have to assign those partners directly to the iBase Component.
So have you been able to do this step successfully?
    Regards,

  • Service Desk Settings, Automatic Email at status change of messages

    Hello experts,
I need your help about this:
I am configuring Service Desk Specific Scenario Settings -> Automatic Email at status change.
I made the configuration suggested as described SAP Note 691303. Also I configured the status profile SLFN0001 in transaction DNO_CUST01, and the Action profile SLFN0001_STANDARD, both  for the SLF1 (Service basis message), but still when we change the status of messages, the email is not generated in SCOT, overview of send orders.
I want to clarify that the configuration made for the action of send email was in transsaction SPPFCADM, selected DNO_NOTIF, and push Define Action Profile and Actions, then selected the Action profile SLFN0001_STANDARD for making he ocnfiguration as suggested in note 691303.
SCOT is correctly configured and working OK.
Business partners emails are mantained too.
    Thank you very much.
    Hector Longarte

Hello. Thanks to all of you for your comments. I am answering to your questions below:
Have you assign proper partner function to every status in action?
I do not know where can I make this assigment.  I am thinking that this may be the cause. Please I kindly ask you to give me orientation about this.
Have you defined condition for defined action?
Yes, the condition was defined thru SPPFCADM. Now, I wonder if this must be configured for CRM_ORDER application as described in note 691303, or for DNO_NOTIF ??
Have you maintained user deatils on identification tab in BP?
Yes, the Business partners and emails adresses were correctly mantained.
The configuration we are talking about and you want to change, is it regarding SLFN (Service Desk Messages) or SLF1 (Basis Service Message)?
I supose that for Service desk messages we must configure SLFN, and not SLF1. Right?
In DNO_CUST01, we have SLF1. We have not made any configuration in DNO_CUST04, it is still as original standard. Please let me know if we are right.
You want to send an aut. email notification when status of SLF1 changes?
We want to send email notifications to the message creator about the status change of service desk messages.
    Thank you very much.
    Best regards.
    Hector Longarte.
