Automatic Delivery Completion Required Indicator to be defaulted to "SET"

Hi Guru's,
My client's requirement is whenever there is a GR posted in the system the system should automatically set the "Delivery Completion indicator" to complete even though there are open items in the purchase order.
The reason is to discourage backorder PO processing and Goods Receipt should be happen only once for a PO.
What we are aware is,
1. I know the PO can be made for the quantity to be received, but that cannot be done since this is a service customer
and there are mutiple sites where materials can be delivered.
2. we are not using MRP as all are cost objects consumed materials for customer service order or cost center till we go
    to material requirements planning.
3. 'DCI indicator in Mm->Inventory Management -> Plant Parameters or set DCI in SPRO does not solve the purpose, as we
want the setting to be Always "SET" in the MIGO screen.
4. Manually we can do this by settinng this in MIGO, but it should be automatic as the user may forget to maintain that and
    there will be more GR.
Kindly let me know if you have any ideas around it.
Regards and thanks in advance.

Hi,
Under the IMG path:
Materials Management
-> Inventory Management and Physical Inventory
   -> Goods Receipt
      -> Set "Delivery Completed" Indicator
the flag for the automatic setting of the "delivery completed"
indicator (V_159L_E-XELIK) should be set  for the Site .
The system will  automatically flag the purchase order
item as delivery completed, if the full ordered quantity is
received. If NOt set,
the user has to set the flag manually while receiving the
purchase order item. In MIGO, this is made in the "Purchase Order Data"
tab, when the "Del.Completed" Ind. is set to "2 - Set".
Please, see the note 1093582 in this regard:
"2.  Question
Is it possible to set automatically the ELIKZ during goods receipt?
Answer
In Customizing for Inventory Management/Goods Receipt/Set Delivery
Completed Indicator, you can define at plant level that the "delivery
completed indicator" is set automatically in the order if:
o  the total quantity was delivered
o  the underdelivery or overdelivery lies within the tolerances"
Therefore, the system will only flag the indicator automatically if this
has been customized previously.
For STO
Kindly review the attached note 34737 which explain the logic of the
delivery complete indicator for STO.
I hope this helps you

  • Regarding delivery completed check indicator

    hi sapgurus,
i have p.o of 100 kg and i receive 75 kg and i decied that i dont want any futher quanity and i have a otion in GR ( item detail/material/[]delivery check indicator) but this is in display mode and i would like to go for option option. so how can i make it
    thanking you

OMJX is for MIGO ( SPRO -> MAT MGMG--> Inventory mgmt --> Setting for enjoy transaction --> Setting for goods movements -->Field selection for migo).
You can also define field selection based on Movement types used the next node to above path (T code -).
You can define Field selection based on mvt type for usual t codes.
OMBW is the T code where you can define field selection settings for Goods Issues.
OMCJ is the T code where you can define field selection settings for Goods Reciepts.

  • Indicator reverts to default after set control value

Sorry.   Tried to put a tab in my message, then pushed space twice and apparently posted this a couple times....
I've noticed that if I try to programatically set the value of an indicator (which is in the connector pane) using the Set Control Value method it reverts back to its default value once the VI is finished executing.  If it's not in the connector pane I don't have this problem.  If I use Set Control Value, then read from a local variable of the indicator to set the indicator I also get no problem.  Why is this?  I've attached two block diagram images below showing what I did.
I'm interested in this because I'm trying to write a subvi that retrieves and stores a bunch of global values from a config file.  The easiest way to do this seemed to me to use the OpenG vi that reads and writes the front panel controls to a config file (since some of my controls I wish to save are complicated).  It didn't seem to work unless I added the second step of using the local variable to update the indicator.

  • Service PO Delivery complete indicator

    Hello Experts,
I am new in SAP MM. I have one doubt regarding service po. If I have done total service entry sheet those service po qty have, then how i will recognize that Service PO againest service has been completly done. There is no any delivery complete indicator in delivery tab, also not ant service entry sheet.
    Nilesh

    Hi
you can set the delivery complete for a service PO by selecting Set final entry (CTRL + F5) while creating a service entry sheet( ML81N).
Once you select Set final entry you cannot post any service entry against this PO and this cannot be reversed.

  • Modifying the Default Result Set on the Results Tab of the SQLWorksheet

I have found the previous posts indicating that the default result set size is 50, that it is not currently able to be modified and (good news) that an enhancement will be coming to correct this.
I thought I would give my two cents on how this option might be configured:
Either in the 'View-Options-(output options)' or the 'Tools-Preferences-Environment' areas, have two options. The first would be something like "Max Rows to Display in Results Window" and the second would be sometihng like "Max Rows to Load when end of Current display is reached."
The first option is certainly most essential, but the latter option I have to explain a little. Say you set your max rows to display to 500. You scroll (drag bar, arrow down, etc) to record 501. At this point, the setting on the "Max Rows to Load When End of Current Display is Reached" option comes into play. This setting will then be read to determine how many rows are to be loaded each time the user gets to the current end of display. The second option adds some flexility to how data rows will be displayed after the initial data rows are loaded.
You could just default the number of rows added to the display to the setting set in the "Max Rows to Display in Results Window" setting, although I would say that this would be less flexible. Whatever you do, don't follow the Toad example of loading ALL records when dragging the vertical bar to the bottom of the display grid.
    Thank You for your time.

  • Default delivery completed indicator in MIGO

    Hi ,
What config has to be done to make the delivery completed indicator in GR ( MIGO to be defaulted to "Do not set " , Right now for me its "set automatically" .
    Thanks

    Hi Deepa,
Check the PO item details if it has Del Completed check box already set.  It is in the Delivery tab of PO item.  It may be causing defaulted into MIGO.
    Additional Info:
Delivery completed check box of PO doesn't prevent you to be able to process GR; it is just statistical.  Even with a PO of del completed check box, you can still process GR..
Try and let me know how it goes..

  • GR after "Delivery Completed" Indicator was Set and Automatic PO Closing

    Hi All!
In our system, we can still post goods receipts even if the "Delivery Completed" indicator was already set in the PO. Is there something we need to configure so as not to allow goods receiving for such POs?
Also, can we set the PO to close automatically after reaching its "Validity End"?
Please we would appreciate any suggestion for this issues.
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,
    The Solution is to
<b>Reduce the PO quantity</b> or <b>the block the item on the PO</b> to prevent any further GR's.
    Block the purchase order item.
    (ME22N: Block pushbutton; ME22 Menu -> Edit -> Block)
Fill the date field for the 'Latest Possible Goods
Receipt' (LEWED) in the purchase order item. If you do
this and you enter a GR document after this date, the
system issues message M7163, which you must set as an
    error message in Customizing.

  • Delivery Completed indicator is automatically set in MB31

    Dear SAP Gurus,
I have an issue for which I need you help.
In my scenario, we are manufacturing co-products. The actual produced qty of each of the co-products may vary from the ratio which is specified in the BOM. Hence, I have set the "unlimited overdelivery allowed" indicator in WS view for all my co-products.
Further, the process order is created for the entire month. Comfirmations are carried out on a day-to-day basis.
The system works perfectly till around 25th of the month. While doing GR in MB31for 26th of the month, I face a peculiar problem.
For one of the co-products, the received qty exceeds the order qty. Since "unlimited overdelivery allowed" indicator has been set in the Material Master for this co-product, the system allows me to post the excess GR qty. This is fine. However, it is setting the Delivery Completed Indicator on its own. I then manually remove the indicator and post the GR document. But the system still sets the delivery completed indicator for the co-product item on its own in the Process order.
Even if I remove the indicator in the Process order, the system doesn't propose the co-product item while doing GR from 27th onwards.
Please help me in resolving this issue.
    Thanks!
    Nitin

    Hi Hiren
    Thanks for the reply.
If I make the change as suggested by you, then the GR from Purchase orders would also be affected.
Is it possible to control the setting of this indicator on a movement type level? If this is so, then I can create a new movt type and use it for production GR .
    Please revert.
    Regards,
    Ntiin

  • "Delivery Completed" Indicator in Goods Receipt

    Hi,
While doing GR, we want to check the "Delivery Completed" on the Goods Receipt Screen if we are expecting no future receipt against the Purchase Order.
Currently we are not able to check the Delivery Completed Indicator as it is not in editable mode.
Is there any issue if we enable the Check Box on Goods Receipt Screen. If no, how can we enable the Check Box.
    Please guide.
    Regards,

    Hi
This is handled by the system automatically. you can change only in purchase order.
Refer SAP note 1093582 for more info
    About delivery completed indicator functionality
The purchase order item is considered closed, even though the total
quantity may not have been delivered.
o Although a further delivery is not expected, it is still possible.
o At the time of the next goods receipt, the system suggests the item
    as unselected.
o The purchase order item can be deleted, even if the total quantity
    was not delivered.
Although the "delivery completed" indicator is not set, a purchase order
item is still considered closed if the full quantity has been delivered. In
this case, the "delivery completed indicator" is not required.
In Customizing for Inventory Management/Goods Receipt/Set Delivery
Completed Indicator, you can define at plant level that the "delivery
completed indicator" is set automatically in the order if:
o the total quantity was delivered
o the underdelivery or overdelivery lies within the tolerances
    Hope it helps
    Thanks/karthik

  • Delivery completed indicator in MIGO

  • GR allowed despite "Delivery Completed" indicator was checked

    Hi,
We would just like to know the possible reason/s why GR was allowed for a PO eventhough the "Delivery Completed" indicator was already checked.
    Thank you.

    Hi
    Greetings!!!
    Kindly Help!!!
Recently we are using the Latest GR date (Latest Possible Goods Receipt) functionality on Purchase Order but I want to know the standard Report for the same and is it possible to delete or lock or Delivery Complete of the line item automatically after the date? If yes, then please provide me the process.
My actual requirement is after Latest Possible Goods Receipt date the line item should not be show on Pending or to be delivering Qty. But in ME2* (M, N, L etc.) report it not happen.
    Note:
I have checked the t-code ME80FN, but it not fill my requirements.
Actually I want to know the report for Latest GR Date (Latest Possible Goods Receipt) on purchase order in a Report. We can see the date manually on me23n-Item Detail-Delivery-Latest GR Date
Field Name- LEWED in Table EKPO but my requirement is SAP standard Report for the same.
In which report we check the latest GR date for more then 100 Purchase Order containing more then 1000 line Item and I know the Table but I am asking about only T-codes/ Reports.

  • Delivery completed indicator set still goods receipt can be done

    Dear SAPians,
I have created a P.O of say 100 quantity against which i made a goods receipt of 50 quantity.
After this i have set the delivery complited indicator in P.O but still i can make goods receipt.
how do i stop these the GRNs
    Regards
    Sujit

    Dear Sujit,
Just as what Kedar said, Delivery Complete is just an "indicator". It is used for MRP planning purposes and you can still perform receiving even with this indicator checked.
To block receiving there are 3 ways to do it, i would recommend no.1.
    1) Change the quantity according to receipt quantity.
    2) Set the lock button for the particular line item, which is proposed by many in this forum. However i think it is not the right solution because, you will not be able to do Invoice Verification(MIRO) after setting the lock button! It also doesnt look nice.
    3) You can use Final Delivery field (set it to today so no further receiving can be done). But you also need to configure system message M7163 to Error for this to work. SAP default only sets this to Warning, where you can still proceed.
    Hope this helps.

  • DELIVERY COMPLETED indicator for Services Purchase Order

    hello experts,
i'm working in SAP with R3 4.7 for developing funtion / BAPI for a mobile web application for services purchase order.
    i have a big problem:
is it possibile to set the DELIVERY COMPLETED indicator (<i>ELIKZ</i>) in services purchase order via BAPI or Function Module?
<i>I'm working with BAPI_PO_CHANGE but and i succeded with material PURCHASE ORDER but not with SERVICES PURCHASE ORDER</i>.
    can anyone help me?
    thanks in advance,
    Eliana

    For material:
Delivery completion (DCI) tick available at line item level for each material (EKPO- ELIKZ)so you can check for the each material in PO the DCI is available or not.
    For Services:
As Service code (Service line items) are maintained in details screen of Header line item. So whenever the DCI (Delivery completion indicator) marked for that Header line item it means that all the service line items are marked as DCI for that Header line.
DCI indicator can mark manually in Change PO mode and automatically when service entry done as final for that Header line.
So you can check the DCI for service same way as you do for material
    Hope it will help you
