Automatic Picture Pop up?

Question

I initially started working in an older version of IWeb. At that time, when you made a picture page, the user would have a new window open with the larger version of the image in that window.
Now when I do it, it launches this gallery thing right there on the page. I hope I am doing something wrong instead of the feature having been phased out, but would greatly appreciate any / all help. Again, my goal is to have IWeb manage my pics on the primary page as thumbnails (where I can easily rearrange, add, as always) and then have the user click to open a new window to see the bigger version.

You can change one of the javascript function to pop up the image, it won't be the same as in iweb1.
You need to edit iWebMediaGrid.js, it can be found in the Script folder, make a duplicate of it in case you messed up. Open it with a text editor, then find the following text:
anchor.onclick=IWToggleDetailView.bind(null,true,streamIndex,divID,headerViewID, footerViewID,detailViewID,shadow);
and replace it with:
anchor.onclick=function(){window.open(anchor.href);window.location.reload();}
be very precise with find and replace, better off to use copy and paste the above text.
You may have to do this after every publishing, so make a copy of the modified js file for future use.
Lastly, there may be a side effect of the change, because it reload the URL in the main page every time to get rid of the anchor (#n trailer). This may not be desirable if you have limited bandwidth, let me know if you can do without the anchor stuff.
