Automatic Qty Change in PO if DC indicator ticked in PO becoz of UD tolera

Hi All,
We have a scenario where we want PO qty should get changed automatically if delivery comlpetion indicator is getting ticked in PO because of UNder delivery tolerance. Let me explain you the issue with an example:
We have under delivery tolerance set as 5%
1. Preq created for Qty 100
2. PO created using ME57 for the above Preq for Qty 100
3. Actual material delivered for Qty 97
4. Because delivered qty is within Under Del tolerance system autmatically update Delivery Completion Inidicator in PO which PO and Preq are closed now.
Though Preq and PO got closed, we have legal requirement that qty for which GR is done should also reflect in PO and Cooresponding PO. It means qty in PO and Preq shlould get changed to 97 if Del inidcator is ticked in PO.
Any method of doing this , please help

Many things are possible with userexits, but not everything. I dont know if this special requirment could be covered with a userexit directly when posting the GR.
SAP his highly integrated, and the PO quantity is compared with the GR quantity for vendor evaluation purposes (Quantity reliability). So I am not sure whether a direct adjustment during GR posting would not impact the vendor evaluation. As the basis for vendor evaluation is an info structure, and info structures are the very last thing that get updated when you post a receipt.
Maybe you should just develope a batch input that adjusts this PO quantity in a night run

Automatically write changes to XMP crashes Lightroom!

Everytime I turn on the option "automatically write changes to XMP" my processor load rises to 100%. So far so understandable. LR is trying to update all of my 40000 images with xmp data. We've already discussed that there is no progress-bar indicating this and that this can be a real issue for people who don't know.
So I turn on the checkbox in the evening and let my pc write all xmps over night, but unfortunately every morning I look at it, lightroom has closed or crashed. It seems not to be possible to complete this task anyway.
Unfortunately writing to XMP seems to have another issue: LR does not notice, witch xmp have already been written, so it writes everything again and again, when I start it manually.
Could anyone of the LR-Team issue a statement and explain how this is meant to work and why LR constantly crashes on automatical export?

I feel that though LR is a very good product in many aspects, they have seriously failed in other aspects. I think what is mentioned here is one of the worse problems. How should we trust Adobe to take care of our image library when they behaves like this? They must surely know that their product will be used by proffesionals that have thousands if files in their library.
I think it is very arrogant of them to update all my photos with XMP-information even though I didn't ask for it. I check the "automatically write CHANGES to XMP", actually believing that this is what LR is going to do, but instead it updates all my photos with some useless information that are of course already in the files. This is NOT a good thing to do. I will not trust Adobe after this, because I have no way of knowing what they will do to my library.
So, now, after installing LR, my partial backup suddenly discovered 50GB of pictures that was modified and needed backup! F... them!

BED not changing value after Qty change in MIGO

Hi,
When we are doing MIGO, a message is coming - Ensure that you can receive more quantity on the same excise invoice..after that we can't save the document.
Scenario:
First i do J1IEX, there Excise Invoice Quantity was 1216 and BED was 684.61 on it.
But when we do MIGO, We are just changing the Qty from 1216 to 1000. BED should calculate automatically after change the Qty but not changing.
After that when we are going to post the document, above mentioned message coming and document not saved.

Solved myself..
Solution is maintain the Excise Group with below path: -
SPRO--> Logistics General --> Tax on Goods movement --> India --> Basic Settings --> Maintain Excise Group.
Now db click on suitable Excise Group. There, check on EI capture under MIGO Settings window.
After done that at the time of MIGO, BED rate should calculate automatically.

Change component level special stock indicator for Purchase Ord-through CIF

my requirement is to change the the spoecial stock indicator at the component level for the PO .
The purchase reqqusition is available in APO system.At the time converiosn to PO, the PO will get created in R/3 through CIF.
When the Purchase Order is getting saved in R/3 then I need to check the component level Special stock indicator(SOBKZ) & I need change its value.
I am currently using the user exit 'EXIT_SAPLCPUR_001' to change the same.in this user exit, I am changing the component level SOBKZ in the table IT_INPUT & I am also setting X in IT_INPUTX table.
But the changes are not reflecting in the newly created PO.It always shows the value 'E' for SOBKZ.
can any one tell me is this the right user exit to change the above value? if yes please expalin me in rdetail on how to change this.

I have tried changing the CP_POSITION-SOBKZ field in the user exit EXIT_SAPLMEPI_006.This one changes the SOBKZ of the item of PO i.e, the change reflects in EKPO table.
What I am looking for is to change the Component level SOBKZ of the ITEM of the PO.The change reflects in RESB-sobkz table.
I think, In the User exit EXIT_SAPLCPUR_001, the field IT_INPUT-SP_STK_IND is meant for this.But this is not working.
Please inform me how the RESB-SOBKZ can be changed?

PRODUCTION ORDER--Qty changed after one operation----URGENT

In the production order,after one operation completed(whether it is first ,second or last ) the system is allowing to change the qty.
but we want the system to disallow the qty change.

Sorry for the delay.
Pl. follow the steps below.
1. Create a status profile Eg: s1 usng t.code bs02.
2. Enter status no. as 1, status as CRTD, a description, tick Initial status & lower status no. as 1 & higher status no. as 2.
3.In the second line enter status no. as 2, status as REL, a description, & lower status no. as 1 & higher status no. as 3.
4.Choose Object type tab.
5. Choose PP/PM: Order header.(tick)
6.Then come back to main screen & double click REL.
7.Click the create icon in the top.
8.Choose Release & then choose radio button under <b>SET.</b>
9.Then come back to main screen & again double click REL & then choose create & select change & check the radio button under <b>FORBID</b> & then save.
10. In t.code OPJH(order type), choose your order type & then assign the status profile( Eg:S1)
11.Now convert the planned order into production order.Release the order & save.
Further changes cannot be made in the production order.
Pl. give feedback after testing.

Automatic ORDCHG Change Purchase Order after Order response from Vednor

How to trigger Change Purchase Order action after receiving PO Confirmation - Order Response from Vendor.
The scenario is that Order Confirmation vednors sends contains delivery date or delivery qunatity variance within defined tolerances. In such cases it is acceptable to allow automatic PO change.
This is an EDI scenario. Idocs ORDRSP and ORDCHG in use.

- For automatic document adjustment, you must make the necessary settings in Customizing (SPRO ->Materials Management->Purchasing->Conditions->Automatic Document Adjustment). The system logs all the relevant purchasing documents and can therefore determine all the documents affected by a change to a condition.
- This is only possible for purchasing documents for which follow-on documents (goods receipt, invoice receipt) do not exist.
- Before you run this report, you must have run report RMEBEIN4 (creation of worklist for automatic document adjustment).

Hi,
System only takes automatically the Output message in PO in creation mode in ME21N ( Only if you have maintained the condition record MN04)
If you have not maintained Condition record in creation of PO also you need to maintain manually.
But once you changed the PO system will not automatically pick up the new Output message, you have to manuallly input the Output messages in change mode of PO - ME22N.
You can also use ME9F for this.

"Automatically Write Changes Into XMP" Not Working for DNG Files

Hello,
I am needing to update DNG/JPG file pairs with keywords that I add in lightroom. The following is the problem that I am encountering.
When the image consists of only a JPEG file (ie. I had my DSLR only snap a jpeg and not an associated DNG), and I add one or more keywords to the file in Lightroom, these are written / saved immediately in Lightroom and are visible immediately in the 'tags' column for that image in windows explorer. Very useful and important functionality for my workflow.
However, when the image consists of both a JPEG and a sister DNG (i.e.,snapped simultaneously by my DSLR), and I try to add keywords to these (treated at this point as a single image by lightroom) then Lightroom does not record the keywords into either of the two files and consequently no tags are visible in windows explorer. I have confirmed this apparent problem with a seperate image metadata utility software, and am hoping that it's just something simple that I am missing.
Also "Automatically Write Changes Into XMP" is selected and I have also tried manually both: "right click," "metadata," "write metadata to file;" and "right click" "update DNG preview and metadata" and the problem persists.
Hopefully someone has encountered something similar and can point me in the right direction.

@Jeannine: different topic than this thread but to answer anyways... Lightroom automatically saves all changes into your catalogue. You never need to dave your changes (here's the kicker though) as long as you do not move the original file. If you
move the file than lightroom won't know that it's the same image as the one you've edited. Once you are done editing your image you will need to "export" the image to a new file (you don't wan to overwrite the original). If you don't export than only lightroom will have your edits. Lightroom is "non-destructive" Which means that it doesn't touch your original photo. Lightroom keeps a text file containing the instructions on what you did to make the edited version. Since your changes are just text inatryxtions you have to "export" the image to get your final image in a version you can put online, print, etc. But to answer your original question, I think you prob moves the original image. If not, could you give us more info?

"Automatically Write Changes into XMP" Not Saving XMP Files

I tried finding some other discussions on this but I couldn't seem to find anything...
I recently checked the "Automatically Write Changes into XMP" setting in my "Catalog Settings". However, as I continue to add pictures to my library and make changes, I do *not* see the XMP files being written to the location of the pictures (Nikon NEF files located on my hard-drive). In fact, I can't find the XMP files anywhere. If I want to output the XMP files I have to do a Ctrl + S (Photo --> Save Metadata to File).
I did notice that when I unchecked the setting and re-checked it, *some* of the XMP files showed up. However, in my import of 24 photos, only 14 had XMP files. I had to manually "Save Metadata to File" to get the XMP sidecar files to show.
Am I doing something wrong? Is something not working right? I'm a bit confused. I assumed it would automatically export the sidecar files.
How often should it be outputting XMP sidecards? If I import a new image should the XMP sidecar file be created? Or is it created the first time I change an original picture?
I am using Adobe Lightroom 2.0 (Camera Raw 4.5) on a Mac OS X 10.5.5.

This same logic already works for properties (e.g., if you specify different values for x in states and run Animate with a SimpleMotionPath with property="x" then it will automatically determine the from/to values to animate for x). But we needed to add an override for getRelevantStyles() for Animate to advertise the possible styles to pick up changes for so that the transitions array would be populated accordingly.

First, you need to go to System Preferences -> iCloud and uncheck the Safari item to prevent syncing bookmarks (among other things) between Safari on your Mac and Safari on your iPad.
Then you need to restore your bookmarks file from a backup. To find the bookmarks file, go to your user Library folder (which is now invisible, so hold down the option key and choose Library from the Finder's Go menu), then look in the Safari folder that's in there. There should be a file called Bookmarks.plist. Replace it with an older version from a backup.

Automatic slide change

How do I set a presentation for automatic slide change? I want it to change from slide 1 to slide 2 after 92 seconds. The Keynote Help says nothing directly about this when I query for "automatic slide change", but it does address "transition initiate automatically". In my mind, this is the same thing. After all, if you initiate a transition, you are initiating a change to the next slide, right? It says:
"Choose an option from the Start Transition pop-up menu.
On Click: Initiates the transition when you click to advance to the next slide.
Automatically: Initiates the transition after the amount of time specified in the Delay field."
Seems perfectly clear to me. I want the transition to initiate automatically, not on click. That's what I choose and I enter 92.0s. I assume that means the same as one minute 32 seconds. The transition doesn't happen. I know the Keynote Help often isn't easy to understand, but this is so simple and clear (once I got over the odd wording about "initiate"), yet it doesn't work. Why not?

Automatic Time Change

Hi there,
winter time is back in Europe... however, my iPhone 3G iOS4, although setting "automatic time change" is on, did not change to winter time. As soon as I switch off "automatic time change" it shows the correct (changed) winter time. What might the problem be?

Thanks, but when inserting the SIM into another cell phone it works 100 %. Putting it into a second iPhone and it does not work. So seems to be an iPhone issue. Even after restaring any of my iPhones it takes the old time.
