Automator says "Workflow Completed" but it isn't ....?

I have 1400 images to convert from JPGs to TIFs, with several manipulations in Photoshop CS2.
The workflow has about 7 steps: All of them are "Do Action" and call a Photoshop action.
When I run the actions manually in Photoshop, each of them works fine and the new converted version of the file appears in the specfied new folder as a tif. Also,when I gang the actions in Photoshop and run them, the same successful result occurs.
But ... it doesn't work in Automator at all -- no indication of any kind that the file has been worked on.
First I use "Get Selected Finder Items", then "Launch Application", and both of those show the correct results. After that, everything runs, but no result appears. AND No Error Messages ...
Can anyone help me solve this conundrum?

    I would recommend performing the following steps in order to stabilize your iPhone.
    Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
    Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
    Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIsand corrosion.
    Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
    After at least 30 minutes, if:
    The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see the battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen. Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
    The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
    Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
    If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
    If the display turns on, go to step 4.
    If the display remains black, go to next step.
    Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes the iPhone and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to restore the iPhone. If the iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes or if you have difficulties in restoring the iPhone, see this article for further assistance.
    If restoring the iPhone resolved the issue, go to step 4. If restoring the iPhone did not solve the issue, seek service.
    My issue is still not resolved. What do I do next?

    Thanks for the question. After reviewing your post, it sounds like you are not able to restore the iOS device since you get an error 9. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.

    Check your security software
    Related errors: 2, 4, 6, 9, 1000, 1611, 9006. Sometimes security software can prevent your device from communicating with either the Apple update server or with your device.
    Check your security software and settings to make sure that they aren't preventing a connection to the Apple servers.

    These steps should resolve the issue on your Mac:
    Double-click on the link for Uninstall Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 at Applications > Utilities > Adobe Installers.
    Check if the Install link is now available in the Adobe Application Manager.
    If not, install and run the Adobe Cleaner Tool to remove any traces of Premiere Pro. It can be downloaded from here: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html.
    The Install link should now be available in the Adobe Application Manager.

    If your iPhone is not charging while plugged into the wall adapter, then I'd like you to please follow the information outlined below to help resolve the issue.
    If the battery doesn’t charge
    If the battery doesn’t charge, unplug your device and try these steps:
    Look at the connector at the bottom of your device and make sure it’s free of debris.
    If you're using a USB power adapter, make sure it's plugged in all the way and the power outlet is working. If you're connecting to a computer, make sure it's on and can charge your device. To charge an iPad, you might need to use a USB power adapter and plug into a power outlet.
    Try a different USB cable, USB power adapter, or USB port.

  • New iphone says "sync complete" but doesn't download any music?

    I have had iTunes and used it without incident with my iPod. Just bought an iphone today but when I went to sync with iTunes for the first time it prompted me to updated to latest version which I did. For some reason it seems to sync to my iphone, says "sync complete", but doesn't download anything from my library. Iphone still says "no content". First day home with iphone. Not real happy about it.
    Help please?

    Make sure you have checked "Sync Music in the music pane when connected to iTunes.

  • Network Install says it's complete, but it isn't

    I'm trying to install a lab over Netboot. I've made the image using SIU, set up Netboot in Server Admin, and the lab machines can see and boot off of the Network Volume. They boot fine off the Network Volume, and the Network Installer runs with no reported problems.
    The process will get to the end when it says installation was successful, and then it will reboot the machine. When the machine starts up, nothing has been installed off the Network Volume. The machine is unchanged from it's previous state.
    i'm not quite sure what's going wrong. Does anyone have any advice to try?
    The server is a Xserve G5 running 10.4.8 server, the clients are all G5 towers.

Did you Enable Automated Installation and configure further options there? If you did what volume name did you use for Install on Volume?

    therer is a scenario in my project where one workflow is created with multiline agents i.e. one workflow assigne to multi users but when i am completing this workflow using SAP_WAPI_WORKITEM_COMPLETE its not assining to defined multi agents in "lt_con table" of next step of workflow.

    Hi,
      After reading all your posts as per my understanding.
    1. You said that you have a dialog work item inside a loop and this has to get approved by different people at each level and at each level there could be a possibility that there can be multiple agents. In your current case it is working fine for one single agent.
      First of all why are you trying to populate the agents in a separate multiline container element. Why am I saying this is because when workflow already provides the technique to handle this kind of situation  by creating RULES and assign it to the dialog work item to determine the agents . If you would have created a rule to determine the agents based on the each level irrespective of the number of agents determined by the rule the work item will be sent to all the respective agents inbox.
    So create a RULE in such a way that based on the loop iteration or level it should determine the agent and assign this rule to the dialog task.
    2.  If am not wrong you might be using some kind of dynpro application so that is the reason you are trying to complete the work item by making use of function module. Clear me that is the user completing the work item from SAP inbox or UWL. also clear that is the task is a decision task or simple foreground task.
    If the task is a decision task then make use of the function module SAP_WAPi_DECISION_COMPLETE. if the user is executing the work item from sap inbox then there is no necessary of completing the work item. system will take care of other things.
    3. Finally You say that the work item is still appearing in the executed users inbox.
    This could be possibly because of the way you are trying to complete the work item. So to overcome this error you need to redesign your workflow by adding RULE to the dialog task. Then you wont find any issues.
    Please do not populate all level agents at one go. determine agent at each iteration of the loop independently.

    I have been working weeks on a project to use workflows for a business process. It is as simple as setting variables and sending email to people.
    I have successfully created a site workflow and published it. When I start the workflow, it starts fine but then show me this (very annoying and always unhelpful) error --> Sorry,
    something went wrong. An unexpected error has occurred.
    Funny thing, the workflow stills completes fine and I get the email notification I created in the workflow! No errors messages in the workflow history either - completely clean.
    Is there any reason for this? I am concerned since it will be used by a large group of people monthly and this is a huge "NO" for UX experience and usability...
    I have tried linking the Correlation ID to anything and looking through server logs. I have got nothing.
    Help please? :)

    get the time that the error occurs, and recheck the log file that during this time, whether there is related information.
    what's your workflow do? what's the result by using other user account to start the workflow.

  • Firefox 4 would not work. I uninstalled and reinstalled. Wouldn't work. Uninstalled and went back to 3.6. Won't work or uninstall. Says its running but it isn't. Cannot unistall or make it work. What do I do?

    After I upgraded to Firefox 4 nothing worked very well. It was slow, crashed a lot and froze, so I uninstalled and downloaded and installed again but then it wouldn't work at all. So uninstalled again. I decided to try 3.6 again as it worked well before , but now it won't work. I can't uninstall because it says Firefox is running and to close it but I have nothing open so how do I close something that isn't open? Never had trouble with Firefox but I'm about done with it. Please advise as to how to fix this. Firefox was in safe mode then it wasn't. What a mess.

    A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
    Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.

  • Itunes says "update complete" but "do not disconnect" never goes away!

    So, I wait and wait and "do not disconnect" on my ipod never goes away.
    A little history:
    I got my nano a few weeks ago, put a few songs on - everything worked fine. Then, I got a new computer. Since I only put a few songs on, I didnt mind starting from scratch. Now, I can't seem to get it to work!? I have songs in itunes. when i click on my ipod, it shows that i have songs on the ipod, it SAYS the update is complete, my ipod shows "do not disconnect" i wait for ages, and then finally just eject the ipod, and - NO SONGS are on it.

    Do not disconnect always on, this happens when you have "enable disk use" ticked in the iPod preferences, in which case you have to manually eject your iPod.
    However if you are automatically updating your iPod and do not intend using it as a portable hard drive, you can set your iPod to automatically disconnect.
    Connect your iPod and in iTunes go to Preferences>iPod. Under the Music tab see if you have your iPod set to automatically sync with iTunes and also have a tick in the box marked “enable disk use". Remove this tick and your iPod should automatically disconnect after it’s finished updating.
    If you have your iPod set to manual update, the box will be greyed out and ticked by default, in that case use Safely remove Hardware icon or check this link: "Disconnecting iPod from your computer

  • Automator says running OK but not displaying quicktime movie

    When I play an automator script that is meant to play a quicktime movie, it reports that it is running correctly but the movie is not displaying.

    Between clicking quicktime movie > save, did you look at the settings under Options to see what codec you were exporting to? You should have.
    Was "Make movie Self-Contained" checked on? If not, have you also deleted the original source footage? You should not have.

  • Gen_inst.sql completes but XE isn't upgraded to 11

    I'm using Windows and have XE 10g installed. I use Apex 4.0 for the application layer.
    I ran the upgrade script via SQL Plus, and it seems like it ran OK. From the SQL> prompt I input @"C:\(download directory structure)\OracleXE\DISK1\upgrade\gen_inst.sql";
    It took a few minutes then it came back with the SQL> prompt.
    However, when I input Select * from v$version; It still shows 10g.
    Am I missing something?

    Thanks. That link was helpful. However, I had to put "Host " in front of the "expdp" and "impdp" commands, and they worked fine from there.
    However, It doesn't copy the tables over from 10G.
    When I ran the impdp procedures the first time, I got errors saying the user SAINTSUSANNA didn't exist. That's the default user for the database. I executed CREATE USER in SQLPLUS for that user and re-ran the "Host impdp" step, but it still didn't work. Oracle XE is created in "C:/oraclexe" just like it was on Release 10G.

  • APP says upto date, but it isn't installed!!?

    Hello, I was using adobe edge for work and I went to look at some tutorials online. I saw that the program had been update with new features in the tutorial video I was watching so I figured it just didn't update for me in creative cloud (even though it said "upto date"). I then figured to delete and update. So I deleted edge and clicked download in creative cloud online (not the mac tab)  and it just opens the creative cloud icon and edge says it's "up to date"!!?!! I restarted my computer and that didn't work. I looked at a fourm and deleted the OMP.de (whatever isn't called) file and restarted my computer and opened creative cloud, logged in and that didn't work. I don't know what else to do and I'm freaking out because I'm using it at work!!! Help!
