Gen_inst.sql completes but XE isn't upgraded to 11

Hello,
I'm using Windows and have XE 10g installed. I use Apex 4.0 for the application layer.
I ran the upgrade script via SQL Plus, and it seems like it ran OK. From the SQL> prompt I input @"C:\(download directory structure)\OracleXE\DISK1\upgrade\gen_inst.sql";
It took a few minutes then it came back with the SQL> prompt.
However, when I input Select * from v$version; It still shows 10g.
Am I missing something?

Thanks. That link was helpful. However, I had to put "Host " in front of the "expdp" and "impdp" commands, and they worked fine from there.
However, It doesn't copy the tables over from 10G.
When I ran the impdp procedures the first time, I got errors saying the user SAINTSUSANNA didn't exist. That's the default user for the database. I executed CREATE USER in SQLPLUS for that user and re-ran the "Host impdp" step, but it still didn't work. Oracle XE is created in "C:/oraclexe" just like it was on Release 10G.

Automator says "Workflow Completed" but it isn't ....?

I have 1400 images to convert from JPGs to TIFs, with several manipulations in Photoshop CS2.
The workflow has about 7 steps: All of them are "Do Action" and call a Photoshop action.
When I run the actions manually in Photoshop, each of them works fine and the new converted version of the file appears in the specfied new folder as a tif. Also,when I gang the actions in Photoshop and run them, the same successful result occurs.
But ... it doesn't work in Automator at all -- no indication of any kind that the file has been worked on.
First I use "Get Selected Finder Items", then "Launch Application", and both of those show the correct results. After that, everything runs, but no result appears. AND No Error Messages ...
Can anyone help me solve this conundrum?

Network Install says it's complete, but it isn't

I'm trying to install a lab over Netboot. I've made the image using SIU, set up Netboot in Server Admin, and the lab machines can see and boot off of the Network Volume. They boot fine off the Network Volume, and the Network Installer runs with no reported problems.
The process will get to the end when it says installation was successful, and then it will reboot the machine. When the machine starts up, nothing has been installed off the Network Volume. The machine is unchanged from it's previous state.
i'm not quite sure what's going wrong. Does anyone have any advice to try?
The server is a Xserve G5 running 10.4.8 server, the clients are all G5 towers.

I might be able to help but first I will need the answer to a few questions of my own: when you created the NetInstall image what did you specify as your Installation Options? Did you Enable Automated Installation and configure further options there? If you did what volume name did you use for Install on Volume?

Call completed but no audio vpn to vpn

I've installed IP Phones at some remote locations and they can call other IP Phones but when they call other phones that our on a VPN, the call says completed but there isn't any audio.
We have an ASA5520 and several ASA5505s with S2S VPNs. Call manager is located on the central site with ip phones on the remote ASAs. It seems to me that RTP is blocked somewhere. I have proper ACLs on the ASAs allowing them to communicate directly with the other remote subnets.

Oracle 10g XE to 11g XE upgrade: gen_inst.sql does nothing.

I am trying to upgrade from 10gXE to 11gXE;
I logon to SQL Plus "conn sys as sysdba", and execute the gen_inst.sql procedure.
Quote: Connect to 10.2 XE database as SYS user and run gen_inst.sql. This will generate install.sql, gen_apps.sql and other .sql files. The files will be generated in the folder containing gen_inst.sql. End Quote.
However the procedure completes immediately, and does not generate any of the files described.
If I execute @(folder path)\fred.sql (where fred.sql does not exist, I get a message that the sql proc is not found, so I know that it finds the procedure when I try and execute it.
The following is a copy of the command window.

The quote part in op, from relevant doc section, seem to say differently. Looking through the script it would seem that files are actually spooled in working path (e.g. current dir when sqlplus is started) instead of folder where script exists.

I think file permissions should be considered still, if on Win 7 (or other OS with some level of least privilege policy implementation).
Edit:
A small test on windows platform showed that files are output in cwd from where sqlplus is started and also that saving files in c:\temp worked fine.

11g upgrade script gen_inst.sql fails to export all users

I'm trying to upgrade a database from 10g XE to 11g XE; however, the upgrade script gen_inst.sql that's included with the installation media fails to include all of the database users in the sql file it generates. Out of 33 users, only 3 are included in the ws.sql file that is created. I can't seem to find any difference between the users that are included and those that are missed, all have the same roles and default tablespaces, but I'm new to Oracle XE so I might be missing something. Does anyone know why the script might miss certain users?

The homepage says its Application Express 2.1.0.00.39.
If I'm understanding this correctly there should still be more than 3 schema owners, for example when I run the query "select distinct owner from dba_tables" I see the rest of the users that I was expecting.
When I imported the data onto the 11g server (using impdp) I can see in the logs that it's importing the other schemas (e.g. imported "MP_DOC"."TEXT" ... in this case MP_DOC does not show up in the list of workspaces or users after running the install.sql script, but MP_DOUG does, and from what I can see they both should be there).
My apologies if I'm not being clear or understanding this right.

Did you run the iPhoto Library Upgrader on your library? Just downloading it isn't enough. Go to your Applications/Utilities folder and launch iPhoto Library Upgrader V1.1 and run it on your library.
Did you upgrade iPhoto to 9.6.1 via the App Store? If so launch iPhoto 9.6.1 and open the library.

If you were told they would refund the price for the iCloud storage - Contact AppleCare and ask to speak with a senior advisor. Have the case number for the promised refund available.
If you are trying to update your device, but you don't have sufficient space to download and install the update, you need to delete content from your device. Buying storage in iCloud does not add space to the device which is what you need.
You can always update using a computer with iTunes installed - this method is faster, and will allow you to make a backup on the local computer (Local backups restore faster than iCloud backups).

The backup that itunes performs does no include any itunes content ( apps/music/vids/etc).
You should have transferred any purchases to your computer.
