Autor-Play multiple music tracks

Please help,
I would like to give visitors to my website the same music
experience as if they are listening to their CD player. In other
words, visitors can listen to multiple music tracks without having
to press play at the start of every new tracks. Just like a CD
player, visitor should be able to select the track that they want
to listen to, i.e. music tracks cannot be saved as a single file.
Thank you.

  • How to delete multiple music tracks

    how to delete multiple music tracks?

    I think rendering the audio has to do with the way I import to FCE. This is how I bring video into FCE because it seems to be the only way I can get it to work. I run my video camera through a digital coverter which runs a firewire into my Mac. I then import the video into imovie. After that is done, I do a drag and drop of the imovie into FCE. I have to render the audio because it just beeps if I don't when I play it back in FCE. I tried using the video capture in FCE but it keeps telling me it is unable to capture (my gues is the cameras are too old and the digital converter in not compatable with FCE or Mac). So once the video and audio footage is in FCE, if I click the green button on the left hand side, my rendered audio becomes a red line. However, I can click the same button on the upper video portion, and it drops the video out so I can see video clips on the lower levels and not just the first one on top. So that's why I render the audio. I can see all twelve audio tracks already. Tom- would making the change you suggest still help? Great book by the way also.

  • Snow Leopard iTunes 10.5 will not play multiple video tracks in QuickTime .MOV files

    I recently discovered that Snow Leopard iTunes version 10.5 won't play multiple video tracks in a QuickTime .MOV file.
    Both video tracks appear and play correctly when playing the file in:
    - QuickTime Player 10 or QuickTime Player 7.7 on the same Snow Leopard machine
    - iTunes 10.3.1 on another Snow Leopard machine
    - iTunes 10.5 on Leopard or Windows 7
    So I think the problem is iTunes 10.5 on Snow Leopard (although I haven't been able to test iTunes 10.4).
    First test file is two 640x480 video tracks side-by-side (total dimensions 1280x480):
    http://160.94.17.23/demo/two-video-tracks-1280x480.mov
    All I see is the first (left) video track, and not the right one.  iTunes "Get Info" command incorrectly reports the video dimensions of the file as 640x480.
    Second test file is two 640x480 video tracks played one after another (duration of 10 seconds each):
    http://160.94.17.23/demo/two-video-tracks-640x480.mov
    All I see is the first video track, and although it reports the correct file duration (20 seconds), the second video track never appears -- it simply freezes on the final frame of the first video track for the last 10 seconds.
    Anyone else see similar behavior?  Unless I'm missing something, I suppose I should submit this as a bug to Apple.

    I have the same problem, i tried re-installing, converting it to AVC H264 but none seems to work so far

  • How to play multiple audio tracks simultaneously?

    Hi there,
    I am having problem with playing multiple audio tracks. I want to play 2 or more audio tracks at exact time (without delay) - is it possible? how can it be done?

    So, essentially, you're trying to take a recording of say, a singer and a guitar player, and end up with the singer in one file and the guitar in the other. Got it.
    [http://java.sun.com/javase/technologies/desktop/media/jmf/2.1.1/solutions/Merge.html]
    That sample will merge multiple input files into a single file. Because you want to play the files together rather than save them, just take the sample and strip out all of the DataSink stuff, and add the following line right after the Processor "outputProcessor" is realized...
    outputProcessor.setContentDescriptor(null);
    So, it'll make the following revision to the code:
         // Create the output processor
         ProcessorModel outputPM = new MyPMOut(merger);
         try {
             outputProcessor = Manager.createRealizedProcessor(outputPM);
                        outputProcessor.setContentDescriptor(null);
             outputDataSource = outputProcessor.getDataOutput();
         } catch (Exception exc) {
             System.err.println("Failed to create output processor: " + exc);
             System.exit(-1);
         }That'll make the outputProcessor play the file, as if it was a Player object. You won't have any visual controls, but if you need visual controls, then don't do that, and just create a Player object to play the outputDataSource.

  • Error in Playing long music tracks on Nokia 6220

    When I play long music tracks (such as concert recordings up to 1-2hrs long) on my Nokia 6220, the phone does not remember were I had previously stopped listening to the track. Also the music player on the phone has troubles fast forwarding on long music tracks.
    Anyone has a solution or remedy?
    Ta

    Unfortunately not, the standard S60 music player has no feature to save position in a track.
    The video centre feature in some S60 3rd Eidtion FP2 phones like the N96 has the feature to play videos from where they last stopped, but even in these phone the music files don't have the same luck. It might be that this feature be added in the future, though it is probably considered that the music player is designed for individual music tracksrather than very long recordings, unlike video files where whole films are offered. Perhaps if enough people demand it...

  • Movie Playing multiple audio tracks & echoing

    I have a movie that is in a symbol that i want to play after a set amount of time by using setInterval. The function works - but when it shows the symbol and plays - it plays multiple audio tracks at the same time - sounding like an echo and or a 1-2 second delay on the same audio track. It also seems the audio starts playing on the main root without actually triggering the playhead of the video symbol.
    Following is the code i am using for both timer and the video. Any pointers?
    // interval
             var timer = setInterval(onTimer,10000);
             var mysymbol = sym.getSymbol("btn1_video");
             // function
             function onTimer() {
                // clear last interval
                clearInterval(timer);
                // action
                sym.$("btn1_video").show();
    //and on on the movie symbol timeline trigger:
    var vid = $("<video width='818' height='460' autoplay='autoplay' preload='auto' controls='controls' id='videoID'>" +
    "<source src='video/testvideo.m4v' type='video/mp4' />" +
        "<source src='video/testvideo.webm' type='video/webm' />" +
       "<source src='video/testvideo.ogg' type='video/ogg' />" +
       "This browser is not compatible with HTML 5" +
    "</video>");
    sym.$("btn1_video").append(vid);

    You identified the problem. I thought that you had to highlight the first song to get the playlist going, but all that does is make the first song repeat itself. Thanks for the guidance.

  • Slideshow multiple music tracks

    Does anyone know how to fit multiple music tracks to a slideshow?  I can only seem to put one track.

    Only one track per slideshow is currently possible.
    http://forums.adobe.com/message/5710026
    One workaround is to record multiple tracks to a single audio file (e.g. using Adobe Audition) then add that as a single file to your slideshow.

  • How do i add EQ to multiple music tracks

    in an effort to make my touch's battery life last longer i read the tips and 1 was to turn off eq on the touch and add eq to the tracks from itunes but i can only do 1 at a time which is very slow. how do i add eq to multiple tracks??
    im talking like 700 music tracks 1 by 1 isnt an option

    You should be able to select the top track in a list and then hold down the shift key and click on the bottome of the list. Or you could use select all from the edit menu to select all the tracks in a play list/library.

  • Multiple Music Tracks

    I have 56 slides with songs that should start at slide #2, 7, 17, 23, and 28. If I add the appropriate audio track to the appropriate slides will it keep playing after I advance it to another side, and how can I get it to stop after X number of slides (in PPT, it's Custom animation > Effects Options > Stop Playing > After (x) Number of Slides).

    I use Keynote for lectures in which a single music example is played while I display he sequence of pages of score. As you say, in PowerPoint this is achieved by telling the programme to play the music example while X number of slides are displayed. In Keynote you can use SmartBuild to achieve the same effect: here, though, the music example is assigned to a single slide, and the multiple pages of score are also assigned to that slide; each mouse click advances one page of score while the music continues to play.
    1) Create new slide
    2) Drag and drop the music file on to the slide and make sure that the sound icon is selected . Select 'View - Show Inspector'. On the Inspector pane, select the iTunes icon and then click the 'Start movie [sic] on click' box.
    3) From the main menu bar select 'Insert - Smart Build' and choose the effect for the transition between images. (I use the first of these -- 'dissolve' -- though it would be more effective if a 'turn page' effect were available.)
    4) Now simply drag each of the images in sequence on to the slide. If you make a mistake, then the order can be changed on the grey panel.
    5) Go to 'Play Slideshow'. The slide will show the first image. Your first click will start the music and subsequent clicks will move through the images one by one. A final click advances to the next slide and stops the music.
    I hope that this will help.

  • Adding multiple music tracks to a photo slideshow

    Hi guys,
    I have a photo slideshow of over 100 photos and would like to add more than 1 music track. I am having difficulty in adding a 2nd audio file after I have already used the beat marker on the first track to put my photos in sync with the music.
    Is it best to add the tracks onto the clip/photos themselves or as a project track?
    Any info on how to add multiple tracks to a project or clips would be great
    Many thanks.

    I'm just finishing up a 20 minute slide show for my son's 5th grade graduation (tomorrow!) and I've been up the learning curve. What I did was add the song and pin it to the first photo. You can add a song 2 ways - You want it to surround the video/photos. When you drag it to the upper left, it you will notice it's shaded green around the photos. If you hover near the gear symbol, you will get a grabby hand to move it. Drag it to a photo and it will turn purple and be pinned to that image. For the next song, you will also drag it to the upper left and it will be green (depending on if your other song is at the very beginning of your project). Then drag it to the image to which you want it attached. This gets buggy and tedious when you're doing a long video. But I liked this method better than dragging the audio and seeing a green bar at the bottom, because I always accidentaly moved it around and messed myself up. Hope that helps!

  • How can I play several music tracks back to back on an opening slide?

    I want to place several music tracks back to back on an opening slide to entertain the audience prior to my start.  On Power Point it’s easy but I have found it impossible in Keynote. Using the building inspector and setting stop/start cues just doesn't work, the music stops after build out of track 1. How to do I make the other tracks follow automatically?

    There are a couple of ways to do this:
    A. Using the Build Inspector (advantage: easy to do - disadvantage: takes a bit of set up & no fade-ins/fade-outs)
    1. Place each of your audio files on the slide, select them all and in Build Inspector set all to "Start Audio"
    2. Then open the Options Drawer in Build Inspector and select "Start Build Automatically"
    3. Select the first audio file in the Build Inspector (I find this easier than guessing which icon is which), note that the audio file icon highlights, then go to Quicktime Inspector and note the duration of the file in seconds.
    4. Return to the Build Inspector and select the second file, note that the icon is highlighted, then in the Options Drawer of the build inspector enter then number of seconds of the first files duration into the Delay box for the second file.
    5. Repeat, rinse lather and repeat again for each audio file.
    By doing the above you avoid having the files all start almost simultaneously and they will play in sequence. Be sure to listen for dead spaces before presenting to your audience and adjust delay times where needed.
    NOTE: The maximum delay allowed is 60.0 seconds - if you have audio files longer than this you will need to either break the files into <60 seconds each or use B. below:
    B. Use iMovie to create an audio track of all audio files. (Advantage: allows audio fades and overlaps, less math - disadvantage: takes time to put together and you need iMovie, too)
    1. Create a single audio file as a .mov in iMovie and export it on to your slide.
    2. Set the Start Movie in Build inspector and go.
    Hope this helps.

  • Can AppleTV play multiple audio tracks in a movie?

    I recently discovered (pretty much by accident) that iTunes and the iPhone supports multiple audio tracks in a single m4v video file. So I've started ripping my DVDs using Handbrake with both the main audio and the commentary track.
    In iTunes and my iPhone I can swop between the two at will, but I cannot find any information on how or if it's possible to switch audio tracks on the AppleTV. Does anybody know?
    I'm using an AppleTV 2 with up to date software and iTunes 7.6.2 set up to sync.

    this same question was asked in the last 2 days (and may even be still listed on page 1).
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1541440&tstart=15
    however, the answer is no.

  • After moving files to new iMac, an iMovie project won't play audio music tracks

    I bought new imac. Transferred files using target disk method and firewire - drag and drop.  All files appear to have moved OK to new imac.  But when I try to resume working on an imovie project that I had started on the old imac, the itunes music clips I dragged into a series of clips does not play the music, even though the green bar appears under the clips and the audio adjustments appear to be the same as in the old imac, which I still have.  The audio that is "built in" to the original clips when the videos were made on the camera are still there and play.  Help, please ?  Thanks.

    Hi
    *Not knowing the origin to Your problem - General approach when in trouble is as follows.*
    • Delete iDVD pref file - *or rather start a new user/account* - log into this and re-try
    iDVD pref file resides.
    Mac Hard Disk (start-up HD)/Users/"Your account"/Library/Preferences
    and is named. com.apple.iDVD.plist
    While iDVD is NOT RUNNING - move this file out to desk-top.
    Now restart iDVD.
    • Free space on internal (start-up) hard disk if it is less than 10Gb should rather have 25Gb
    • Hard disk is untidy. Repair Permissions, Repair Hard disk (Apple Disc Util tool)
    • Program miss-match. iDVD 5.0.2, Mac OS X.4.11 AND QuickTime 7.5.5 - is OK - DON’T work under Leopard
    • Program miss-match. iDVD 6.0.4, Mac OS X.4.11 AND QuickTime 7.5.5 - is OK (might work under Leopard)
    • Program miss-match. iDVD’08 v. 7.0.1, Mac OS X.4.11 AND QuickTime 7.5.5 - is OK (might work under Leopard)
    • iDVD (08) v7 Locate theme folder. Move out iDVD1, iDVD 2 and eventually iDVD4 folders to desktop - re-try
    • Try a Cleaning CD/DVD that cleans the laser lens on the DVD burner/player
    iDVD 6.0.4 and iDVD 7.0.1 are compatible with Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard
    Last resort. from Craig. Solved the problem!! Finally!!
    I deleted every iDVD application and folder from my boot drive,
    emptied the trash and then installed iDVD 08 using the customize option
    and I am up and running.
    If You do a re-install be sure to get rid of all iDVD old parts AND then EMPTY the Trash-basket !
    iDVD updated ?
    Apple Codec updated ?
    Start a New Clean project - or delete project assets
    No of Colors - must be set to millions

  • How can I play multiple music videos continuously on Apple TV?

    Regular music plays continuously, one song to another, etc. I can't get my music videos to do the same. One plays, and after it's over, ATV won't go to the next video. I can't figure it out. Does anyone out there know how to do it?

    What I find is really silly, is the fact the music video's are listed under that artists albums in the Music menu. And when you go into the video 'album' (called 'Unknown' unless you change it) there is an option to shuffle the tracks. Clicking this just results in an error message. So, they should either remove that option if it is a video album, or, better yet, GET IT TO WORK. So silly of them to omit this.
    I have submitted feedback.

  • Playing itunes music track from somewhere other than beginning

    I would like a piece of music to play from a minute into the track, rather than from the beginning.
    I thought setting it with the play control QT inspector would fix it, but the track still plays from the beginning. I tried setting a different start point in itunes and reimporting the track, but it still goes back to the beginning. And as it's a protected AAC file, I assume I can't trim it anyway.
    Looking at other posts on similar topics, I thik the answer is going to be "you can't".

    You could burn it to a CD, re-import the MP3 file (which makes it an uprotected file), and then edit is as you like using an audio editor like the freeware Audacity, or even QuickTime Pro.
