AutoSuggest List Needed for Department Id?

Hi,
I am using Jdev 11.1.1.4
I have droppped DepartmentVO on to the form and added <af:autoSuggestBehavior> for Department Id.
My Use Case:
User can enter either Department Id / Name in the Department Id InputTextBox( <af:autoSuggestBehavior> )
For this i need to display related Department Id's in AutoSuggest List
How to achieve this?

Hi,
if we have a LAN to LAN vpn between to two cisco firewalls and allowed the service as IP (ipsec tunnel) do we need indivugial access-list in the security policy ? (i had a similar case where i had to put in a entry on the security policy for port 16000 between the two subnets used onthe LAN to LAN firewalls)
i was under the impression the security policy applies only for non vpn and for vpn traffic we need to specify on the ipsec tunnel (under the tab service)

There are two way you can filter traffic which is moving over VPN.
1) Filter at source ofcourse ACLs are required.
For example Crypto acl allows - Site A 10.0.0.0/24 to Site-B 20.0.0.0/24 but traffic can be filtered at interface where 10.0.0.0/24 is configured .Lets assume port 80 we want to deny.
ACL would be -- access-list XXX extended deny tcp 10.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 20.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 eq 80
permit any any
acess-group xxxx in inside
So this will deny port 80 and permit rest of the traffic.
2) You can configure VPN filter which is called under group policy .

Regex list need for speed

Hi,
I'm facing the problem to classify a continuous stream of long strings using a list of regex, if a regex matches the system assigns a class to the string; all the regex (>200) have to be evaluated, hence many classes could be assigned to the string.
Obviously the speed is crucial requirement.
Any suggestion ? Are regex the best choice?

If you need to test several regexes against the same string, you can cycle through them efficiently with Matcher's usePattern() method: for (Pattern p : patternList)

} You can even apply the regexes within a larger string (or preferably a CharBuffer, if you're reading the text from a stream) by using the lookingAt() method instead of matches(). That's a bit more involved; I'll elaborate if you're interested.

Shipping Papers (BOL, Packing List) needed for 3rd Party Sales Order

The Process followed is as follows:
Plant "A" enters Sales Orders for a Customer.
Sales Orders generate the material requirement on Plant "A"
The material req gets turned into a Purchase order on External Vendor.
Vendor provides the shipment information and a goods receipt is done on Plant "A"
Once the goods receipt is entered, it closes the Sales Order and the customer invoice prints.
The goods receipt, however, does NOT produce inventory, it basically passes through directly to the Sales Order.
Now incase of a export order, need to find a way to configure so that Export Documentation can be trigeered in the form of an Output Type, in short a Delivery needs to be created.

The answer lies in how the sales order is closed and invoice is printed when the GR is done.
Please check if it is possible to update the invoice with the information you want to be printed on the Export doc and Packing slip.If this can be acheived then you print the information out of the invoice without using the delivery.

Grocery List Needed for WLAN Guest NAC

Hello - what I want to do is put a solution in place that will control any guest wireless that is out of bounds. What i mean by that for locations that have a DSL line along side the corporate network to be controlled through a NAC guest server.
Scope of the enterprise is:
* 2k8 domain.
* cisco 1200 and 1240 AP's
* 1 cisco NAC guest server
* 1 acs
* sites are all connected via MPLS
What else do I need? Of course I am trying to be mindful regarding budgetary numbers.
From reading the configuration guise for the clean access server I assume I need the Client Access manager NAC appliace as well, to have this all tie together?
Please advise on any other things, tips or tricks. :)

Your iMac does have wireless capability. It does need, however, some wireless network in order to connect to the Internet. It sounds like there are several networks in your area, including one Belkin router that is not encrypted and several other networks that are. I presume that you would know if the Belkin one is yours, and you would have mentioned it. Do not use someone else's network without their permission. In some jurisdictions it is illegal, in others it is merely foolish.
It is impossible to know what Xfinity has given you. Possibly it is only a cable modem, or perhaps it has a router built in. Call them and ask them. If it has a router built in, get them to help you set it up. Note that some tech support people for Internet service providers will resist working with Macs. Be persistent, it is not that different.
If they did not provide a router, you will need to get one. Apple makes the AirPort Extreme base station, the AirPort Express base station and the Time Capsule. Other companies have their own. Be sure you get one that is up to date and has 802.11n capabilities (for the highest speed) and go on from there.

Here I could not find any enhancement Exit to proceed further.

1.Make the u2018Departmentu2019 field, (CSKSZ-ABTEI), mandatory in the Cost Centre Master Record using   screen program name SAPLKMA1 and screen number 0300.
2.Check the entry made in the u2018Departmentu2019 field, (CSKSZ-ABTEI), in the Cost Centre master record
When the transaction KS01 is saved check the value in the u2018Departmentu2019 field, (CSKSZ-ABTEI), against values stored in a variable in a Z table by Controlling Area, if matched allow creation, if no match go to the first message below.
3.Department field is not allowed to be changed once postings have been made to the Cost Centre.
Check for transaction KS02 or KS12 when save check if u2018Departmentu2019 field has been changed, if no change continue, if changed check to see if postings have been made to the Cost Centre (table COEP), if postings have been made give the second error below, if no postings allow changes to be saved.

I have tried various permutations of XMLFOREST, XMLELEMENT, XMLAGG but either I get syntax errors, or the data is wrong (e.g. repeated '<membership>' for each '<member>', or I have to create an invalid tag '<members>' to be filtered later).
Please advise!

Filter a list based on department of current user

I've created a list with a department field populated from a user named in each item. Is there an OOB way to create a 'My Department' view to show those items where the Department field matches that of the current user? I've tried the Current
User filter but this doesn't seem to work (this may be a local problem or that I have multiple views of lists on the same page and I only want to filter on one of these views).

Let's try this OOB web parts,
1. Add a tasks web part on your page then add a column named "Department" to this tasks web part and enter some value, say 'Information Technology' as department.
2. add a UserContextFilter web part to same page. Configure it so that it sends "Department" user profile value to Tasks web part. At this point, when you try to connect
usercontextfilter wp to tasks wp, you won't be able to see "Department" in drop down list. Because this drop down list values are populated based on of tasks web part.

Software needed for the USB device, "USB Interface Controller TEST2.0"

My mother recently acquired a digital camera. She acquired it from a second-hand store, which did not include an interface cable or software. The manual (and the USB port on the camera) indicates that a male-male USB cable is necessary for photos to be copied to the hard drive.
I was not successful in locating such a cable at any local electronics store (I assume such a cable is now out-of-date). I purchased one from a seller on eBay. The brand is "e circuit electronics".
Upon powering up the camera with the cable connected to it and the computer, the following message appeared:
"Software needed for the USB device "USB Interface Controller TEST2.0" is not available. Would you like to look for the software on the Internet?"
I clicked "Yes". After an approximate two-minute wait, another message appeared stating:
"Software Update is not able to connect to the Internet. Please check your configuration and try again."
I deleted, "Software Update Preferences" in the Preferences folder inside the System Folder, without solving the problem. How do I solve the issue of allowing Software Update to connect to the Internet?

Thank you for your continued assistance, BDAqua. Unfortunately, the driver you linked to does not seem to be compatible with the camera. It is a driver for the V20 model, whereas my model would correspond to be a V2755, as referenced from a list of other Vivicam models when during a search at the Open Drivers web site.
From the system requirement about the card reader you gave me, it will not work, as this system is running 9.1. I am hesistant to upgrade this computer to 9.2, as I have experienced system unstability with that version, with even the 9.2.2 update applied.
In the mean time, I have e-mailed Vivitar regarding this issue, but have as of yet received a reply.
I am not certain as to other specifics to give you, in order to solve the Software Update problem. Please elaborate.
Yes eww, the computer in question is able to fully connect to the Internet for all that I need. I am fully aware of the difference between a computer connecting to the Internet, and a computer connecting to a digital camera. I have 15 years of Macintosh experience.

IN DESPERATE NEED FOR HELP flashing question mark appears MacBook

Hello everyone, I got this White MacBook Mac OS X 10.4.11 yesturday I was updating limewire and iTunes, I was downloading some songs from Limewire when all of a sudden my macbook frozed. I was not able to do a thing. Not even minimizing nor quiting the app nor even opening another aplication, so I decided to shut it down by holding the power button until it shut down (about 8 secs). So I restart my macbook and I got this grey=blank screen whit a flashing question mark on it. I've tried EVERYTHING on this link http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1440?viewlocale=en_US even these one http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1533 and all I was able to accomplish, was to hold the mouse (/trackpad) button to eject a Cd, and while pressing Shift during startup (in order to start in Safe Boot mode) all I get is this lock image and this space to type a password. I've tried typing every password I know and I can't fix my macbook. Can anyone please help me out on this one?

It means certain system files needed for startup are corrupted. You will have to reinstall OS X. If your hard drive is unaffected you can try the following:
How to Perform an Archive and Install
An Archive and Install will NOT erase your hard drive, but you must have sufficient free space for a second OS X installation which could be from 3-9 GBs depending upon the version of OS X and selected installation options. The free space requirement is over and above normal free space requirements which should be at least 6-10 GBs. Read all the linked references carefully before proceeding.
1. Be sure to use Disk Utility first to repair the disk before performing the Archive and Install.
Repairing the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your OS X Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Installer menu (Utilities menu for Tiger.) After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior (4.0 for Tiger) and/or TechTool Pro (4.5.2 for Tiger) to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
2. Do not proceed with an Archive and Install if DU reports errors it cannot fix. In that case use Disk Warrior and/or TechTool Pro to repair the hard drive. If neither can repair the drive, then you will have to erase the drive and reinstall from scratch.
3. Boot from your OS X Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When you reach the screen to select a destination drive click once on the destination drive then click on the Option button. Select the Archive and Install option. You have an option to preserve users and network preferences. Only select this option if you are sure you have no corrupted files in your user accounts. Otherwise leave this option unchecked. Click on the OK button and continue with the OS X Installation.
4. Upon completion of the Archive and Install you will have a Previous System Folder in the root directory. You should retain the PSF until you are sure you do not need to manually transfer any items from the PSF to your newly installed system.
5. After moving any items you want to keep from the PSF you should delete it. You can back it up if you prefer, but you must delete it from the hard drive.
6. You can now download a Combo Updater directly from Apple's download site to update your new system to the desired version as well as install any security or other updates. You can also do this using Software Update.
