Available Functions on FMS Server

I have a chat client that uses FMS server. I do not know how many more functions are on FSM that I can utilize. There is 0 documentation for the available FMS server. Is there a way to browse or query all the available features/functions of Adobe FMS server?
Also some of the chatters crashes my flash play remotely. I think, they are just overflowing the buffer? Is it the case? or how anyone can remotely crash my flash player? This only happens if I kick any of the specific user using the command /kick user.

HP Printer Driver not currently available from Software Update server

I have an iMac (early 2009) and an HP OfficeJet 6100 Series printer. I just upgraded my Apple Extreme Base Station and when I try to add the printer again thru the new Base Station the iMac says the software is available from the Apple Server but after searching it returns the following message: "Can't install the software for the Hewlett-Packard OfficeJet 6100 Series because it is not currently available from the Software Update server." This has been going on for days. I have the driver installed already from having the printer connected via USB and via my old Base Station but cannot "see" the printer on my new Base Station without adding it again.
Any suggestions?

You can call remote functions on SQL*Server if you create the database link using the Database Gateway for SQL*Server (DG4MSQL).
You need to install and configure DG4MSQL then you can call remote functions as follows -
SELECT function1@Remote_DB(7782) FROM dual;
You need to set the parameter -
HS_CALL_NAME
in the DG4MSQL init<sid>.ora file with the owner and name of the function, for example -
HS_CALL_NAME = "owner1.function1, owner2.function2 "
and if you want to return values using the function you need to set the parameter in the gateway init file -
HS_FDS_PROC_IS_FUNC=TRUE

You cannot use the Database Gateway for ODBC (DG4ODBC) to create the database link as it does not supported stored procedures or remote functions.

Where in migration process does old server stop functioning as primary server?

I am migrating from a SBS 2003 box to a new WS 2012 R2 Essentials box - following the instructions from
"Migrate from Previous Versions to Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials or Windows Server Essentials Experience". What I need to know is where in the process does
the old server stop functioning as a server for my network. What I mean by this is when in the migration process (when I add the new server as a replicate DC? not until I demote the old server?) will any programs/databases on the old server no
longer be available to client computers?

Yeah, we need to agree on what is meant by "the server". In Windows, Server means many different things. Each time you move, a role or feature from the "old" to the "new" the old server ceases to function as "the server"
for that role or feature. The basic functions of a Windows DC include Active Directory, 5 FSMO roles, file and print services, and application services to name just a few.
So the answer to your question is more to do with what you mean by "server". In particular, for the application role, you must move the app to the new server by whatever means the developer recommends. At that point, regardless of whatever
else is going on the old server is out of the picture for that application.

Browsing for available functions using JCO

Does anyone know if there is a way to use the JCO to obtain a list of the available functions that are RFC enabled? I heard a rumor that there is an eclipse plugin that will do something like this, but I've been unable to find it.

you can use FM
RFC_FUNCTION_SEARCH and pass search pattern to get a list of all RFC enabled FMs.
for example if you want all Y* functions just pass Y* to FUNCNAME parameter of the FM

FMS Server Balancing

Hello again. I run a FMS 3.5 Server and I want to add additional FMS Servers and load balance the traffic. The plan is to use a script for the developer version of FMS that forwards two incoming FME streams to the different servers, so each FMS Server has all streams. Is there a script for this? In addition there is a need for a script that somehow redirects the users to the server with the lowest users/bandwidth in use. Can somebody provide me with such a script or help me? Would appreciate it. Any other solutions would be welcome to get the same results.

I don't know of any publicly available code that does what you're looking for. I typically write an application that continually polls the admin services of each FMS in the cluster to handle load balancing.
That said, I think what you're planning would violate the terms of the EULA for the FMS dev edition. I recall reading that you can only use the dev edition for deployment when not used in conjunction with additional FMS servers.... you might want to check into that.

Listing files on FMS server @ client

FMS Server leaves ghost conncetions open? HELP

If u run an FMS application and connect to it with a client,
then pull the LAN cable to that client out of the wall
[disconnecting it] the fms server still shows that client as
connected.... How is this supposed to be managed? the
application.onDisconnect function is NOT called in this scenario,
and the application thinks a client is still present!

the client is still there.
I like to work around this by having the server call a client
function on an interval, and wait for a response (using client.call
and a result handler). If the client doesn't respond after a given
period of time, I close the connection on the server side.

because the client may be behind a Special firewall ，So he may connect to the FMS server ,but can not use P2P to connect to the members those are in the group?

What event does FMS server fire when a clients starts/stops streaming

I want to log activities on my stream (both live and recorded) using a web service I've made. In the FMS server side AS3 documentation I can find events for onconnect/ondisconnect, but that is not quite what I want. What I want is and event that fires when a user start viewing a stream, or stops viewing. Today I'm using the following code:

However not all clients uses the getStreamLength, so this does not realy work. The problem is that in the "onConnect" even I do not have access to the streamname, else I think I could have used this event.
