Axilite register types and initial value

Hello,
How to ascribe an axilite register a spesific type? (Self Clear, Clear on Read, Toggle on Write, Read only, Write only)
Same question about reset value? (I couldn't find a way to assian a default/reset value to a regiser)
Thanks!
Shay.

Hi Debraj,
Thank you for your response.
I know that reset directive can reset static and global variables to their intial values, but i couldn't find how to do the same thing to I/O, in my case to axilite interfaces (which are eventually simple registers).
Going back to my previous example, in order to give a specific reset-value to my I/O, are you suggest to add static declaration? like this:
void example_top(static unsigned int enable_reg, static unsigned int status_reg) { ... }
Is it allowed?
Another question that remained open is how to ascribe a spesific register-type to an axilite interface (Self Clear, Clear on Read, Toggle on Write, Read only, Write only)?
thanks.
Shay

  • Alternative condition type and base value

    hi
    gurus  i am very much confused with this
    alternative condition type and base value  plzz clear me  from this confusion
    give me with realtime example and  tel me in simple way
    they will fully rewarded. and also a gud help to me
    thanks
    srinivask.

    Hi
    hope it is Alternative Calculation Type and Alternative Condition Base value
    if so pls refer below
    <b>Alternative Calculation Type:</b>
    Normally if you want to calculate a value you have to use a calculation type for determination the value. This calculation type is either addition, subtraction or multiplication. Similarly SAP also has got a default calculation type in the control data of the condition type. There you have the options of either Qty based , Fixed Amount Based or Percentage based.
    Here what happens is suppose if you define Your condition type that calculates the base price of a material on Qty based. Then the calculation will be done based on the quantity of the material. If the customer orders 10 Nos and you have maintained a unit price of 100 Rs for each material then the value determined is 1000 INR. Similarly if the discount condition type , you maintain the calculation type as %. This means if you maintain the value of 10  % in the condition record. Then this percentage is taken as the calculation type  and the condition value is determined.
    In some cases you have to forego the default calculation types and use the customer specific method for calculating a value. For ex if you are calculating the Freight charges for a Material . it depends on so many criteria like, the weight, volume  and also the minimum amount etc etc, in those cases, you forego the default value and then use the alternative calculation type in calculating the condition value against the particular condition.
    <b>
    Alternative Condition Base value</b> :
    If you have to calculate any value then you have to have a base value for it. For ex if you want to calculate the  discount of 10 % for a material then you have to have a base value on which this 10% is calculated. Normally you take the  condition value of the base price of the material to calculate the value.
    Now you don't want to take the base value and take other values as base value which are derived on some formulae. So you create a routine which will do the mathematical operations in the routine and derive you a value which is now used as the base value for calculating the condition value for a particular condition type

  • Getting Reason Code, Condition Type, and Condition Value in one report

    Hello there,
    I have got a Question for you all BW Gurus. I need the answer for this as soon as possible. I will assign points to all helpful answers.
    I am having a Sales cube, Delivery Cube, and a Conditions Cube which I built. Each cube is populated from different ODS. Means there are 3 ODS for 3 cubes. I am joining these 3 cubes under a Multiprovider.
    My Question is:
    We are using Reason Codes at Delivery level. We have identified an empty field in the delivery tables and populating this field with the reason codes. We have condition type and condition value only in the Condition cube. One of the reporting requirements is that we need to see Reason code, Condition Type, and Condition value in one report. I am planning to report on the Multiprovider. Since Reason code, Condition Type, and Condition value are not present in all the 3 cubes (means they are not common characteristics in the Multiprovider), I don’t think I can get those values in one report if I report on the Multiprovider. Please correct me if I am wrong. If what I say is correct, please tell me how to solve my problem. Once again, helpful answers will be greatly appreciated and rewarded with points.
    Thank you in advance.
    Kind Regards,
    Swathi

  • Actual value and initial value showing same text

    Hello,
      I am working with recruiting data. I have created and infoset that has Publications doing a left outer join with Requisitions. This is because the query is trying to list all publications for a requisition and the requisition information should still show on the query even if there is no publication. I am getting the correct records BUT when there is no publication, the initial or 'not assigned' value prints for all fields EXCEPT for publication status. Publication status is a NUMC field and it has a key 0 with the text of 'draft'. Unfortunately when there is no record the initial value is in the key but 'draft' is in the text. I would like the text to say 'not assigned'. I tried to put a space record in the master data text table but since the field is NUMC, it said it already existed. I tried to put a 0 record in the master data and it said it already existed. So as far as the table is concerned space and zero are the same. And due to the query results I'm guessing the initial value is a space or zero. Can anyone tell me how to get 'Not Assigned' to print if there is no publication but 'draft' to print if the key value for publication status is a zero?
    Thanks,
    Diane

  • PO dryage accruel vendor conition type and MR11 value is not maching?

    Dear Gurus,
    In PO, for delivery cost, FRC2 condition type is used...In PO history tab, I am seeing that there are diffrences of amount 2000 b/w GR and IR...
    but in MR11 GR/IR clerance report, I am seeing that -1257 is coming for FRC2 conition type(delivery cost) where it should show 0.
    Pls advise as why MR11 is showing wrong value?

    Hi,
    For discount condition type keep condition category BLANK & it should be negative in nature. Just keep following for discount condition type in control data-1 segment
    Cond. class   Discount or surcharge                  Plus/minus    X Negative
    Calculat.typeQuantity
    Cond.category
    AND
    Keep MM pricing schema as properly designed with accurate placing of condition types in it. For example:
    Steps-Couu2014Condition type--Cond Descri--- -
    From -
    TO
    10----0PB00 Gross Price--
    20----0 R001Discount % on Gross10--
    30----0Subtotal1020-
    40----0---ZFREDelivery Cost--
    keep Acc & Acr Keys

  • Data Vs Types  and  Type Vs  Like

    hi frds can you send main diffrences between
    Data Vs Types   and     Type Vs  Like.
    some what briefly explanation..........  i am in confusion in this

    Hi Madhu,
    Data is used to create data object ( means memory will be allocated)
    Types is used to create structures
    Type is used to refer to Predefined data types ( like n,i,f,d,t,p,x....)
    Like is used to refer the local variables.
    All ABAP programs can define their own data types. Within a program, procedures can also define local types.
    You define local data types in a program using the
    TYPES .
    TYPES: spfli_type TYPE spfli,
           surname(20) TYPE c,
           BEGIN OF address,
                 name       TYPE surname,
                 street(30) TYPE c,
                 city       TYPE spfli_type-cityfrom,
           END OF address,
           town TYPE address-city.
    This example shows the definition of two structure types in a program - SPFLI_TYPE and ADDRESS. The structure of the data type SPFLI_TYPE is taken from the database table SPFLI in the ABAP Dictionary. The components of SPFLI_TYPE are the same as the columns of SPFLI. The individual data types of the components are the ABAP equivalents of the data types of the columns of the database table. The structure type ADDRESS is newly defined. The component ADDRESS-NAME takes the data type of the previously-defined type SURNAME, the component ADDRESS-STREET is newly-defined, ADDRESS-CITY takes the data type of column CITYFROM of the structure type SPFLI_TYPE.
    TYPES: BEGIN OF struct1,
             col1 TYPE i,
             BEGIN OF struct2,
               col1 TYPE i,
               col2 TYPE i,
             END OF struct2,
           END OF struct1.
    TYPES mytype TYPE struct1-struct2-col2.
    The example shows how you can construct a nested structure type STRUCT1 with a complex component STRUCT2 by nesting TYPES BEGIN OF ... TYPES END OF blocks, and how you can address the inner components.
    local types in program
    referring to predefined ABAP types:
    TYPES: surname(20)  TYPE c,
           street(30)   TYPE c,
           zip_code(10) TYPE n,
           city(30)     TYPE c,
           phone(20)    TYPE n,
           date         LIKE sy-datum.
    local structure in program
    referring to the above types
    TYPES: BEGIN of address,
             name TYPE surname,
             code TYPE zip_code,
             town TYPE city,
             str  TYPE street,
           END OF address.
    local nested structure in program
    referring to the above types
    TYPES: BEGIN of phone_list,
             adr TYPE address,
             tel TYPE phone,
           END OF phone_list.
    This example shows how to create complex data types from simple type definitions. After a set of simple data types are created with ABAP predefined types, a structured type ADDRESS is defined using the data types defined earlier. Finally, a nested structure type, PHONE_LIST, is created, whose first component has the type ADDRESS.
    Table types
    Local tables in a program are called internal tables. To construct a new internal table type, use the syntax:
    TYPES  can be any known data type. Specifying the key is optional. Internal tables can thus be generic. For more information, refer to Internal Tables.
    DATA
    The Statements TYPES and DATA
    Each ABAP program define its own data types using the statement.
    TYPES dtype TYPE type ...
    and declare its own variables or instance attributes of classes using the statement
    DATA var {TYPE type} ...
    Within the program or a class, you can also define local data types and variables within procedures. Local variables in procedures obscure identically-named variables in the main program or class.
    When creating data types and data objects, there are a number of naming convention that also apply for other local program definitions, such as procedures. These are described in detail in the keyword documentation.
    The Additions TYPE and LIKE
    The additions TYPE type and LIKE dobj are used in various ABAP statements. The additions can have various meanings, depending on the syntax and context.
    ·        Definition of local types in a program
    ·        Declaration of data objects
    ·        Dynamic creation of data objects
    ·        Specification of the type of formal parameters in subroutines
    ·        Specification of the type of formal parameters in methods
    ·        Specification of the type of field symbols
    Constructing New Data Types
    The TYPE addition allows you to construct new data types in the TYPES, DATA; CONSTANTS; and STATICSstatements. In the TYPES statement, these are local data types in the program. In the other statements, they are attributes of new data objects, meaning that the newly defined data types are not free-standing. Rather, they are linked to database objects.This means that you can refer to them using the LIKEaddition, but not using TYPE.
    To construct new data types, the addition TYPE can be used with the following type constructors:
    ·        Construction of reference types
    REF TO type|dobj
    ·        Construction of structured data types
    BEGIN OF struc_type.
    END OF struc_type.
    ·        Construction of table types
    tabkind OF linetype
    These data types only exist during the runtime of the ABAP program.
    Referring to Known Data Types or Data Objects
    Using the additions TYPE or LIKE in the TYPESstatement, local data types in a program can be referred to known data types or data objects. This is mainly the case with user-defined elementary data types. If you declare variables using the additions TYPE type or LIKE dobj with statement DATA, the data type of var is already fully defined before the declaration is made.
    The known types or data that are referred to must be visible at the point where the data type or variable is declared.
    A known data type can be any of the following:
    ·        A predefined ABAP type to which you refer using the TYPE addition
    ·        An existing local data type in the program to which you refer using the TYPE addition
    ·        The data type of a local data object in the program to which you refer using the LIKE addition
    ·        A data type in the ABAP Dictionary to which you refer using the TYPE addition. To ensure compatibility with earlier releases, it is still possible to use the LIKE addition to refer to database tables and flat structures in the ABAP Dictionary. However, you should use the TYPE addition in new programs.
    The LIKE addition takes its technical attributes from a visible data object. As a rule, you can use LIKE to refer to any object that has been declared using DATA or a similar statement, and is visible in the current context.  The data object only has to have been declared. It is irrelevant whether the data object already exists in memory when you make the LIKE reference.
    ·        In principle, the local data objects in the same program are visible. As with local data types, there is a difference between local data objects in procedures and global data objects. Data objects defined in a procedure obscure other objects with the same name that are declared in the global declarations of the program.
    ·        You can also refer to the data objects of other visible ABAP programs. These might be, for example, the visible attributes of global classes in class pools. If a global class cl_lobal has a public instance attribute or static attribute attr, you can refer to it as follows in any ABAP program:
    DATA dref TYPE REF TO cl_global.
    DATA:  f1 LIKE cl_global=>attr,
           f2 LIKE dref->attr.
    You can access the technical properties of an instance attribute using the class name and a reference variable without first having to create an object. The properties of the attributes of a class are not instance-specific and belong to the static properties of the class.
    TYPES: BEGIN OF struct,
             number_1 TYPE i,
             number_2 TYPE p DECIMALS 2,
           END OF struct.
    DATA:  wa_struct TYPE struct,
           number    LIKE wa_struct-number_2,
           date      LIKE sy-datum,
           time      TYPE t,
           text      TYPE string,
           company   TYPE s_carr_id.
    This example declares variables with reference to the internal type STRUCT in the program, a component of an existing data object wa_struct, the predefined data object SY-DATUM, the predefined ABAP type t and STRING, and the data element S_CARR_ID from the ABAP Dictionary.
    Referring to Generic Data Types
    If you refer to one of the generic predefined ABAP types of fixed length (c, n, p, x) in the TYPES or DATA statement, you must specify the undefined technical attributes.
    TYPES|DATA var[(length)] TYPE type ...
    TYPES|DATA var TYPE type ...
    DATA: text1,
          text2 LENGTH 2,
          text3 TYPE c LENGTH 3,
          pack TYPE p DECIMALS 2 VALUE '1.225'.
    This example creates three character variables with field lengths of one, two, and three bytes respectively, and a packed number variable with field length 8 bytes and two decimal places. If the attribute Fixed point arithmetic is set, the value of pack is 1.23.
    This example shows how to declare elementary data objects with reference to predefined ABAP types.
    PROGRAM demo_elementary_data_objects.
    DATA text1  TYPE c LENGTH 20.
    DATA text2  TYPE string.
    DATA number TYPE i.
    text1 = 'The number'.
    number = 100.
    text2 = 'is an integer.'.
    WRITE: text1, number, text2.
    This program produces the following output on the screen:
    The number              100 is an integer.
    In this example, the data objects text1, text2 and number are declared with the DATA statement. The technical attributes are determined by referring to the predefined ABAP types c, string, and I. Values from unnamed literals are assigned to the data objects. The contents of the named data objects are displayed on the list.
    Specifying a Start Value
    When you declare an elementary fixed-length variable, the DATAstatement automatically fills it with the type-specific initial value as listed in the table in the Predefined ABAP Types section.
    However, you can also specify a starting value of a fixed-length elementary variable (also within a structure declaration) using the VALUE addition in the DATAstatement:
    DATA var ... VALUE val|{IS INITIAL}.
    Specifying start values:
    DATA: counter TYPE p VALUE 1,
          date    TYPE d VALUE '19980601',
          flag    TYPE n VALUE IS INITIAL.
    After this data declaration, the character string flag contains its type specific
    Initial value ‘0’.

  • Standard Report with Condition Type and Condition Records

    Hello to all,
    Is there any standard report available in which Condition Type and Condition values are displayed in either column or row format? The selection criteria can be either Quotation, Contract, Sales Order, Delivery, Invoice or Billing. Thanks anyways...

    Hi Huzefa,
      Pls check the relevant table where the condition records are stored. then do a query with  that condition table and KONP. say for eg: condn type ZINV,ZMRP gets stored in condition table A821, then combine A821 and KONP, u can input condition type and get the values........................
    go to vk13, display and click on layout, u will able to see the condition table.

  • ALV distinguish zero and initial for type P.

    Hi all,
    I met an involved problem about ALV, please give me a hand.
    there are fields with data type P in ALV, and there could have initial value(No value) and zero value in that field, but system can not distinguish them, it will dispaly all the fields in format '0.000' , so I can not distinguish which one is no value and which one is real zero value.
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks a lot.
    Benny.

    Hi,
    Thanks for your advice.
    Actually we have used Char before, but it can not be calculated for those fields, and after the data downloaded to Excel, it has the same problem.
    So we changed to P type, and met new issue.
    Any other suggestions on this?

    B number(18,3);
    v_base number(18,3);
    BEGIN
    open base;
    open gr_pkd_prem;
    fetch gr_pkd_prem into a,b;
    fetch base into v_base;
    :BLK1.EO_GR_BKD_PREM :=nvl(a,0)+ nvl(b,0)+ nvl(v_base,0);
    close gr_pkd_prem;
    close base;
    END;
    the proceudre is correct and the values come as i want
    but here
    FMS_PERIOD between substr(to_char(:BLK1.EO_TRNX_DATE,'DD/MM/YYYY'),4,2)-2 and substr(to_char(:BLK1.EO_TRNX_DATE,'DD/MM/YYYY'),4,2))
    suppose i will add from 6 to 9
    the value will come down to add with base value
    but next time i want from 10 to 12
    it will add value 10 to 12 with the base for just period 10 to 12
    i want to keep adding
    if i start from 6 to 9
    then shoud be
    add the value of 6 to 9 to 10 to 12
    but

    look ..
    i created a form and let's say there is one field called Base ..
    and i inert value on that field and saved .
    then
    i created cursor to fetch value from another table
    that value which i fetched from another table must add to past value
    take this scenario
    i started with value 6
    then i fetch by cursor value from 1/1/2010 to 31/3/2010 and that value = 33
    first action
    6+33
    then
    i fecth by using cursor from 1/6/2010 to 30/9/2010 and that value = 2
    the result of first action must add with the last value which is 2
    (6+33) from first action plus(+) 2 and display the result on the secreen
