Check the header that is being generated in the request , I do not think it has all the elements that has been put in the contract , you can print the SOAP request using handlers in Axis2 . check that and also can you post your config file and the actual contract so that i can help

    Any ideas on this one?

    Thanks for your reply.
    I've tried that too, actually with
    oracle.tip.pc.services.identity.config.ISConfiguration.getDefaultRealmName()
    instead of hardcoding "jazn.com", the result is the same.
    The problem is the missing namespace attribute. I had the same error
    message using an axis2 client. Just that the client request had
    the correct namespace attribute and the TaskQueryService response
    came without the namespace attribute which the axis2 client didn't
    accept (which, I think, is correct).
    I had some success which an axis client which is not that petty.
    I guess it's a bug of the TaskQueryService. The xsd files seem not to be
    consistent with what the Service expects/provides. Strange
    that you don't have the same problem. Which version of
    the SoaSuite do you use?
    What do you mean by "out of the box BPEL seems to use a local XML file for JAZN".
    Local on serverside?

  • Axis2 Client encoding message problem

    Hi Experts,
    I developed an application (EAR + WEB + LIB) acting as a Webservice proxy for a healthcare service. Abap calls my proxyservice which then calls the other service. This application is developed as maven2 project with axis2 and dependent lib to be used in any servletcontainer.
    Deploying the proxyserver on a Jetty or Tomcat works fine, all the SOAP messages are transferred like expected (including Faults and Umlauts)
    Deploying the proxyserver an a Netweaver CE 7.1 system also works but there are two issues and i cannot find the reason:
    1.) When my proxyserver gets the answer from the healthcare service, the SOAP Response holds a correctly encoded UTF-8 String with german Umlaut (ÜÖÄ...), but my generated Webservice Stub always gets a "null" instead of the german Umlaut. Debugging into the generated Stub and even into the Axis Sourcecode shows me that the Soap request seems to be incorrect when it arraves at the axis sourcecode, so i think something between Axis and the CE 7.1 Server is doing wrong.
    I loked also in NetWeaver Administrator and can see that classloading works as expected.
    2.) When my proxyserver gets a SOAP Fault from the healthcare service it arrives without the Fault details.
    Both issues look to me as if there is a software layer between my Axis2 Servlet and the underlying Server doing something with my http requests/responses.
    Does anybody know how i could proceed?
    Regards
    Michael

    thanks for the response.
    I was using Axis2 1.2 and Rampart 1.2
    I got it partially working.
    I got rid of the Sign.xml and used Auth.xml only in my webservice.
    Axis2 was generating the wrong namespace for most of my parameter Bean classes...I had to modify those by hand. I was able to finally access about 90% of my webservice methods but a few still threw the error 'unable to parse incoming request'.
    I thought moving to Axis2 1.3 might fix the namespace issue but then that requires Rampart 1.3
    I gave up...Clientgen just works, without all of these problems. I would like to provide a client solution for my customers that is not dependent upon BEA weblogic.jar, but Axis2 does not work with WS-Policy enabled webservice running on BEA.

  • Unable to create web service for axis2 client

    Hi,
    Iam very new about using axis2. What i want to do is to generate a webservice for my client. Client should be able to send data to server using those services. My xml pattern is given below.
    <test1>
    <test2>
    <test3>
    <test4></test4>
    <test5></test5>
    </test3>
    <test3>
    <test4></test4>
    <test5></test5>
    </test3>
    </test2>
    </test1>
    I used inner class to generate suck kind of xml, but due to lack of knowledge, i was unable to do that. Below is my test class.
    public class EchoService{
    public MyInnerClass retMyInnerClass(MyInnerClass test1) {
    return test1;
    public class MyInnerClass {
    private String test2;
    public MyInnerClass() { }
    public void setTest2(String test2) {

    public String getTest2() {
    return this.test2;
    Please help me to find my mistake.
    Thanks

    Hi there.
    I don't know what the problem is with NetBeans, but if you see the local copy of the WSDL in the firstcup-war project, you will find that the name of your computer should be there as part of the URL. Change it to 'localhost' or to '127.0.0.1' and it should work.
    Example:
    <xsd:schema>
          <xsd:import namespace="http://webservice.firstcup.sun.com/" schemaLocation="http://localhost:8080/DukesAgeService/DukesAgeService/__container$publishing$subctx/WEB-INF/wsdl/DukesAgeService_schema1.xsd" xmlns:wsdl="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/" xmlns:soap12="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/soap12/"/>
    </xsd:schema>And...
    <port name="DukesAgePort" binding="tns:DukesAgePortBinding">
          <soap:address location="http://localhost:8080/DukesAgeService/DukesAgeService" xmlns:wsdl="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/" xmlns:soap12="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/soap12/"/>
    </port>

  • Axis2 and wsdl- Exception thrown when client attempting server connection

    Hi all,
    I am trying at the moment to develop an Axis2 server, and test it with a client.
    The server is to provide a soap wsdl service, returning an object request.
    I have generated server code and client code using axis2's wsdl2java tool, and all seemed fine.
    The server I created using this generated code seems to work, so far as i can tell, as I can connect to it through a browser.
    For example, using the browser I can connect to it via:
    http://localhost:8888/services/PersonInfo
    and it gives me a page showing 'Deployed Services', listing the operations available.
    but the funny thing is here that it seems to auto-direct me to another url: http://localhost:8888/axis2/services/ which I have not specified.
    For the server I am using the axis2 supplied SimpleHTTPServer. Here is the complete code excluding the actual generated code:
    public class EmbeddedAxis2Server {
        public static void main(String[] args) throws Exception {
            ConfigurationContext context = ConfigurationContextFactory.
            createConfigurationContextFromFileSystem(null, null);
            AxisService service =

    http://localhost:8888/axis2/services/PersonInfo/getPersonInfo
    and pass in arguments using the usual form variables syntax.
    HOWEVER!! My problem is (and maybe it is related to the url redirect strangeness I mentioned above, or maybe not), that my coded client is not able to connect.
    I generated the client stubs also using wsdl2java, and call the functions... but I get this show stopping exception:

    Hi, I have an update!!!
    Another aspect of my problem (which I had forgotten to mention) was a mysterious difference in the original wsdl file, and the one that was generated by my SImpleHTTPServer when my browser contact it, and requested the wsdl. That is, when I use the url in my firefox browser
    [http://localhost:8888/axis2/services/PersonInfo?wsdl|http://localhost:8888/axis2/services/PersonInfo?wsdl]
    the wsdl that was returned to the browser was different in several ways to the original wsdl that I generated my server side java code from using the axis2-1.3 wsdl2java.sh script.
    I had noticed this, and decided to create a client using this new and strangely different wsdl, and see if this provides different results.
    It worked!!! After creating my stub java code with the new wsdl file, and the wsdl2java tool, and modifying my custom java code to match the different stub generated, the client was able to connect to the server, and return me a serialized object.
    Does this give you any clues as to what may be the real problem?
    Differences in the wsdl include:
    1. the targetNamespace attribute listed in the wsdl:definitions tag shows the namespace backwards!!
    2. The new generated wsdl file has two extra element types,
    GetPersonInfo, and GetPersonInfoResponse, + GetPersonInfoIn , GetPersonInfoOut
    while the original only game me GetPersonInfoOut & GetPersonInfoIn.
    The client code I had to change now looks like this:
    try
                ConfigurationContext context = ConfigurationContextFactory.
                createDefaultConfigurationContext();
            PersonInfoStub stub =  new PersonInfoStub(context);
                GetPersonInfo reqs =   new GetPersonInfo();
                GetPersonInfoIn req = new GetPersonInfoIn();
                reqs.setGetPersonInfoIn(req);
                req.setCivilRegistrationIdentifier("CIV123");
                req.setHospitalCode("HOS123");
                req.setRequestId("123");
                req.setUserName("sean");
                GetPersonInfoResponse res = stub.getPersonInfo(reqs);
                GetPersonInfoOut resultObj = res.get_return();
                            OMFactory fac = OMAbstractFactory.getOMFactory();
                            OMElement xml = resultObj.getOMElement(GetPersonInfoResponse.MY_QNAME, fac);
                            XMLStreamWriter writer = XMLOutputFactory.newInstance().createXMLStreamWriter(System.out);
                            writeOMElement(xml, writer);
            } catch(Exception e){
                e.printStackTrace();
                System.out.println("\n\n\n");
            }

    Please someone help me to resolve this issue.
    Thanx in advance.

    Pls check your wsdl file. If the wsdl file is wrong, then ServiceBuilder takes the default wsdl and it uses the package structure to create default namespace (which is example.ws in ur case). Check your wsdl for proper binding, port and service declarations.

  • Problem with axis2 and Tomcat

    Hello,
    I am having a strange problem with Tomcat and axis. I have a webservice that uses axis2 for wsdl2java class generation. When I compile my project in maven a Test is performed. During the test a glassfish server is established and the project is deployed -everything work great with the expected results. However when I try to deploy the webservice on tomcat it has some problems.
    At first I tried to call axis code in a POST method that takes a MultiPart message. The code is as below:
    *@Path("identifyWavestream")*
    *@POST*
    *@Consumes(MediaType.MULTIPART_FORM_DATA)*
    *@Produces(MediaType.APPLICATION_XML)*
    *public String multipartTest(com.sun.jersey.multipart.MultiPart multiPart) throws Exception {*
    *// get first body part (index 0)*
    *//tomcat shows that the first error is here (line 122 is the nest one with bodypart)*
    BodyPart bp = multiPart.getBodyParts().get(0);
    BodyPartEntity bodyPartEntity = (BodyPartEntity) bp.getEntity();
    InputStream stream = bodyPartEntity.getInputStream();
    *//the rest of the code either saves the incoming file or implements the wsdl2java axis interface - neither works.*
    And the tomcat error is:
    java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: Index: 0, Size: 0
    java.util.ArrayList.RangeCheck(Unknown Source)
    java.util.ArrayList.get(Unknown Source)
    com.webserv.rest.resources.SearchResource.test.multipartTest(SearchResource.java:122)

    com.sun.jersey.spi.container.servlet.ServletContainer.service(ServletContainer.java:359)
    javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet.service(HttpServlet.java:729)
    It was strange to me since this simple approach of handling a Multipart method worked for me earlier. Then I decided skip the handling of multipart method and just call the axis code. But the results also caused an error. I then tried to call the axis code in a simple @GET method (to cross out any issues regarding the multipart) and the result where the same. Again everything works on the maven- glassfish test. In this case the tomcat error is the following:
    javax.servlet.ServletException: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: org.apache.commons.httpclient.HttpConnectionManager.getParams()Lorg/apache/commons/httpclient/params/HttpConnectionManagerParams;

  • Webservice Client is not working in OIM 11gR2

    Hi,
    We have created a web client using Axis 1.6.2 and using it in OIM 11gR2 for Request Validator Plugin. But we are getting issue that org.apache.axiom.om.OMAbstractFactory. getOMFactory() is not found. When we checked the JARs in class path we found that OIM Already has lower version of axiom1.2.5 in its class path under oim.ear which doesn't contain this method however Axis1.6.2 contains the newer version which contain this method. Does anybody has any idea how to override OIM default classpath JAR file and force it to read the library files available under plugin?

    Hi
    I am facing similar issue but with Custom Adapter . I copied the axis jars under the JavaTasks folder but it does not help.
    I then copied them under the oim.ear/APP_INF/lib and restarted the OIM managed server but somehow even that does not help.
    I get following error.

  • Webservice client is not working for secured service

    Hi Experts,
    Currently i am facing issue when i try to access the secured webservice,
    I used jdeveloper 11.1.2.1.0 to create the webservice client proxy and found the following error if i invoke the service,
    I am using the following code to access the service,
    URL url = new URL(".", wsdl_url);
    MyService myservice = new MyService(url, new QName("urn:drs.test.com",
    "MyService"));
    myTester = myservice .getTester();
    Map<String, Object> reqContext = ((BindingProvider) myTester ).getRequestContext();
    reqContext.put(BindingProvider.USERNAME_PROPERTY, "user name");
    reqContext.put(BindingProvider.PASSWORD_PROPERTY, "password");
    May i know the reason for this issue?

  • Getting .ServiceException while invoking a web service from a client

    I created a web service and then created a web service client from wsdl in eclipse. I am getting the following error when trying to call the web service from client.
    javax.xml.rpc.ServiceException: There is no stub implementation for the interface: examples.ejb.ejb20.basic.statelessSession.TraderBeanService

                System.out.println(response.getNumberTraded());
            } catch(Exception e) {
                e.printStackTrace();
    }How to solve the stub implementation error?
    Edited by: 901007 on 12 Aug, 2012 10:57 AM

    That did not work either. There was getPorts() and not getPort() and I used getPorts(). And I am getting the below error,
    java.lang.ClassCastException: java.util.HashMap$KeyIterator
    But when I try like the below,
        @WebServiceRef(wsdlLocation="http://localhost:7001/webservice/services/TraderBean?wsdl")
        String url = "http://localhost:7001/webservice/services/TraderBean?wsdl";
        QName qname = new QName("http://statelessSession.basic.ejb20.ejb.examples", "TraderBeanService");
                TraderBeanServiceLocator service = new TraderBeanServiceLocator();
                TraderBean port = (TraderBean) service.getPort(TraderBean.class);
                System.out.println("Invoking the sayHello operation on the port.");
                TradeResult response = port.buy("INR", 200);
                System.out.println(response.getNumberTraded());I am getting the below error,

    java.lang.InstantiationException: examples.ejb.ejb20.basic.statelessSession.TraderBean
    As you can see the statement"Invoking the sayHello operation on the port." is getting printed but after that error is thrown.
    I tried changing it to, TraderBean port = (TraderBean) service.getPort(qname, TraderBeanServiceLocator.class);
    But even this is throwing the same error, java.lang.InstantiationException: examples.ejb.ejb20.basic.statelessSession.TraderBean
    I changed my webservice using Axis2 web service runtime and this time when I try to invoke using client, I am getting the following,
    [WARN] Weblogic's StAX implementation is unsupported and some Axiom features will not work as expected! Please use Woodstox instead.

    If you need more details, I can post the steps I did to build it...
    Any help is greately appreciated.

  • Exception (org.apache.axis2.AxisFault: Server) when accessing Web-Service

    Hi all,
    I have read already some interesting posts on Java implementation for Oracle CoD Web Services.
    Somehow I am stuck and can't find a way out.
    I try to access the LeadQuery command via the following code:
              String sessionCookie = logon(
                        "https://secure-ausomxapa.crmondemand.com/Services/Integration",
                        username, password);
              LeadStub stub;
              try {
                   stub = new LeadStub(
                             "https://secure-ausomxapa.crmondemand.com/Services/Integration;jsessionid="
                                       + sessionCookie);
                   // ServiceClient client = stub._getServiceClient();
                   // client.getOptions().setManageSession(true);
                   // client.getOptions().setProperty("jsessionid", sessionCookie);
                   // client.getOptions().setUserName(username);
                   // client.getOptions().setPassword(password);
                   LeadQueryPage_Input leadQueryPage_Input = new LeadQueryPage_Input();
                   ListOfLeadQuery listOfLeadQuery = new ListOfLeadQuery();
                   QueryType queryType = new QueryType();
                   queryType.setString("LIKE 'A*'");
                   LeadQuery leadQuery = new LeadQuery();
                   leadQuery.setCompany(queryType);
                   listOfLeadQuery.setLead(leadQuery);
                   leadQueryPage_Input.setListOfLead(listOfLeadQuery);
                   LeadQueryPage_Output leadQueryPage_Output = stub
                             .LeadQueryPage(leadQueryPage_Input);
              } catch (AxisFault e) {
                   e.printStackTrace();
              } catch (RemoteException e) {
                   e.printStackTrace();
              } catch (Exception e) {
                   e.printStackTrace();
                   System.err.println("\n\n\n");
              logoff("https://secure-ausomxapa.crmondemand.com/Services/Integration",
                        sessionCookie);
    Logging In and Out is no problem, runs like music. But whenever LeadQueryPage is called, I just receive the following error:
    org.apache.axis2.AxisFault: Server
         at org.apache.axis2.util.Utils.getInboundFaultFromMessageContext(Utils.java:512)
         at org.apache.axis2.description.OutInAxisOperationClient.handleResponse(OutInAxisOperation.java:370)
         at org.apache.axis2.description.OutInAxisOperationClient.send(OutInAxisOperation.java:416)
         at org.apache.axis2.description.OutInAxisOperationClient.executeImpl(OutInAxisOperation.java:228)
         at org.apache.axis2.client.OperationClient.execute(OperationClient.java:163)
         at crmondemand.LeadStub.LeadQueryPage(LeadStub.java:1026)
         at CODconnection.main(CODconnection.java:58)
    I'm using Eclipse 3.4.2 with AXIS2 1.4, and the Eclipse Plug-In for AXIS 1.3 (with some small patch to get it to work).
    I downloaded the custom WSDL from Oracle CoD (CRM On Demand) Admin page and used the AXIS-Wizard in Eclipse to transform it to Java.
    For that, I already tried the -g option (which is "Create everything - Client and Server" in the wizard).
    Anyone has a clue what the problem might be?
    Btw.: I downloaded also V1.0 WSDL to check if that works. Some problem.
    Found out that just the error reporting sucks and at the end the Server missed the correct Authentification.
    Funnily I just did what I read a couple of time. With this small bit of code it works:
                   ServiceClient client = stub._getServiceClient();
                   client.getOptions().setManageSession(true);
                   client.getOptions().setProperty(HTTPConstants.HEADER_COOKIE, "jsessionid="+sessionCookie);
                   client.getOptions().setUserName(username);
                   client.getOptions().setPassword(password);
    -----

    You are missing the end point location. See the sample client below:
    MyHelloMyHelloSOAP11PortStub stub = new MyHelloMyHelloSOAP11PortStub("http://localhost:8080/axis2/services/MyHello");
                   MyHelloMyHelloSOAP11PortStub.SayHello hello = new MyHelloMyHelloSOAP11PortStub.SayHello();
                   hello.setS("ABCD");
                   MyHelloMyHelloSOAP11PortStub.SayHelloResponse resp=stub.sayHello(hello);
                   System.out.println("Response from Web Service "+resp.get_return());

    This is really just a philosophical question. The language allows a literal to be used to initilaize an array like this int[] arr = {1,2,3,4}but later in the code you cannot write arr = {4,5,6,7};I have always wondered why. Anyone got an insight?
