Azure CDN Endpoint URL not Resolving

My objective is to deliver a payload via Azure CDN.Created a storage account> Created a Container > Uploaded the exe file(payload) using Azure Explorer. The Direct URL works.
I createad a CDN using the quick create option.It shows CDN is enabled. But on clicking the URL,It does resolve.
Can someone help me.

Could you please check the following ?
a) The CDN is created on the same storage account you have uploaded the exe to.
b) Please check if the Container to which the file is uploaded is a Public Container. Only blobs that are publically available can be cached with the
Azure CDN. To make a blob publically available for anonymous access, you must denote its container as public. Once you do so, all blobs within that container will be available for anonymous read access.

Orchestrator Web URL not resolving

I have tried almost everything and am still unable to figure out whats wrong with the Orchestrator Web Console. When I try and open Orchestrator Console, I am being asked for credentials. No matter what credentials I enter, it wont accept it and keep asking
for the credentials.
I am trying to open the url
http://server:81/Orchestrator2012/Orchestrator.svc and it asks for the credentials as well. Does the same and keep throwing the credentials prompt no matter what logins I use. If I hit cancel I get the below error:

HTTP Error 401. The requested resource requires user authentication.
Spent a good time in making sure the permissions are correct and they look okay. Since the url do not resolve so I cant even create an Orchestrator connector in Service Manager. Can anyone suggest anything on this issue?

Some URLs not resolving properly when using "www" ??

I notice that occasionally that a website won't be available when I use www in the address. For example, I was updating a myspace page by adding some graphics. When I added them and viewed the page everything was fine. I came back later to view the graphic again and there was a little "?" in place of the graphic. I thought it possible that the server that this graphic was being served from was down, so I double checked by going to the address. So, of course I entered "http://www.punkhouse.org". Safari had shown the site as not being found. I have had this problem recently and decided to try (the first time this happened was with Apple's website!) what I thought the problem was... and that is typing in the address without the "www". So I typed "punkhouse.org" into the address bar and it got to the site fine (I even took some screen shots of this, here is one and here is two.
These screenshots were taken seconds apart. Anyone know what the deal is here?

I just discovered that I am having the same problem now with Firefox. Every other time this has happened, Firefox would resolve the url without issue, now it's not.
Leads me to believe something with my isp, comcast, ... ?

CDN Endpoint not working anymore

Since 14 hours our cdn is not working.
We have not changed anything in the portal, and everthing reports OK.
How can I troubleshoot this?

http://*storageaccount*.blob.core.windows.net/500/5300032-600.jpg worked fine for you, the problem should be related with the CDN or the network between you computer and the CDN, here are steps for your reference to troubleshoot:
1.Make sure CDN is righted enabled as http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee795176.aspx
2.After creating a CDN endpoint, it need some hours to apply, so please wait for some time(no more than 24 hours) to test it again.
3.If after 24 hours, CDN still fails but original storage works, please check the internet routing from the your end to the CDN by:
ping *id*.vo.msecnd.net to see if it can be resolved
tracert http://*id*.vo.msecnd.net/500/5300032-600.jpg to see how the request will be routed
4.Make sure IE cache is cleared.
5.Test from a different machine.
6.Check the origin to look for any obvious problems. Look for storage analytics logs.
7.Test a different geographic region. Like test from an Azure VM in a different geographic region.
if from above, there is no obvious clue on the CDN connectivity, please create a support ticket from your Azure management portal, then support team in Windows Azure will assist you quickly.
currently new generation of CDN is hosted by Verizon EdgeCast, then if the problem CDN is related with EdgeCast provisioning, Azure support team will involve EdgeCast to resolve very soon. if you are using elder version of Azure CDN, then azure support team
could directly troubleshoot and fix. by the way, CDN created from azure management portal after April 2nd, 2014 should be all from EdgeCast.

Media URL expiration and IP restriction when using Azure CDN

Is anyone tried to use Azure CDN mapped to storage used for media streaming?
In my media account I have IP restiction for my org + I am setting timeout for the URL to be public.
Will those rules still going to work for accessing the media via the CDN?
If not - are those features availabe for the Azure CDN?

What are the IP ranges for Windows Azure CDN, so that QoS rules on a router can be configured? I've reviewed the Data Center IP ranges here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windowsazure/dn175718.aspx, but those are only for Compute instances
and do not include CDN.

Base on my experience, Windows azure CDN IP range is in the Data Center IP range. And you could view it from this page (Windows Azure Datacenter IP Ranges ). I suggest you could
try to trace the CDN IP address from your location. It may be confirmed by ping CDN URL.
Each section specifies the geographic region and the IP address ranges associated with that region.

When i send a page from a website to my printers email address, it only prints the url not the page

I have a Photosmart D110 all in one and just bought a Asus Transformer tablet. I`ve downloaded the eprint app and every time I share a page from a website via email to my printers email address it only prints the URL not the actual webpage. Also when I click the share option it gives me the option to share with the eprint app, but when I do it say it can't read or support the file due to paper size not being selected.

Error: "Could not resolve [public class] to a component implementation

Here's another clueless newbie question! :-(
I define a public class "DynamicTextArea" at the top of the file, and get the compiler error message "Could not resolve <DynamicTextArea> to a component implementation" at the bottom of the same file.
Clearly, I don't understand something very basic.
(The code between the commenrted asterisks was originally in a separate package file, which I couldn't get either mxmlc or FlexBuilder to find, so rather than fight that issue now, I moved it into the same file.)

    As you've noted, there were multiple misunderstandings.
    Some are due to references in the language which are different from uses in pre-existing languages.
    Take "name spaces". They look like URLs but they're not. One of the first errors I made when starting Flex was to try to browse to http://www.adobe.com/2006/mxml. I figured that it would have some description of the language. But it didn't. In spite of LOOKING like a URL, it doesn't point to anything; it's really just an arbitrary magic incantation, like "Open Sesame".
    But, then when I wanted to use my OWN namespace, I find that it's NOT arbitrary, and does have to point to something, but it's still not a URL. The "AHA" moment was when Michael told me that "*" means "look in this directory for a file with the name later named in an import statement, but not named here". And if the file was in subfolder "X" I'd have to use "X.*", while if it were a URL I'd use slash instead of dot, but never an asterisk.
    When the language syntax is so contrary to the expectations of people coming from a declarative language or web programming background, I think it is important to explicitly address the differences and disabuse them of their preconceptions. I think the same should apply to the ways in which ActionScript differs from ECMAScript.
    Another problem adding to my confusion is the habit of naming variables with the names of keywords but with capitalization changes. Not only does that set readers up for subtle "gotchas", but makes it unclear which names are truly arbitrary, and which are required by the compiler.
It might be a good idea to have a convention of an identifiable format for user variables. Many authors use names like myButton for that purpose.
    It would also be helpful if printed text could simulate the syntax coloring of the better editors, or at least have more in-source comments saying exactly what each line does. (Or both)
    Another aid to understanding would be to provide a reference to the alternative (MXML or AS) way of doing anything, whenever you demonstrate one of the ways.
    I find that the emphasis on using FlexBuilder distracts from a sense of what is really going on behind the scenes. E,g.: If FlexBuilder automatically sets up the folder structure, I don't learn to do it myself. I like to work at the code level, so when something goes wrong I don't have to worry about what level it went wrong at.
    Also, not everyone is willing to drop $600 or $250 BEFORE they've learned whether they even like Flex. Your tutorials are, by definition, addressed to newcomers who may well not yet have committed to the expense of FlexBuilder. So more emphasis on using mxmlc would be nice. It would also be helpful to discuss how to use local servers, like Tomcat, during the development stage.
    Thanks for asking my opinion. I'm afraid that my 40 years of programming experience may make it harder for me to adapt to this new style of programming than it would be for a kid with a tabula rasa. But, it looks like it'll be fun once I get over the hump!

FABridge in AIR: Could not resolve fab:FABridge to a component implementation

Hi all,
I'm trying to use the FABridge in my HTML-based AIR app to communicate between a swf file and my JavaScript code. Browsing through the forums, it appears that ExternalInterface is not advisable in AIR, so I turned to FABridge instead. Can anyone on this forum advise me on whether FABridge is the correct route to take if I want to communicate betweeen flex and javascript.
If FABridge is the recommended protocol, can someone please advise on how to include the FABridge.as file as part of a amxmlc compiler option. I've tried the following:

Looking at Mike Chambers' blog post here: http://www.mikechambers.com/blog/2005/12/22/compiling-actionscript-3-and-mxml-on-mac-and-l inux/, it looks like the air-config.xml file could be modified to include the FABridge.as file. I've tried modifying the air-config.xml file to point at the fabridge/src/bridge directory, but no luck.

Thanks for the reply. I was drawn to the FABridge because the documentation said it's useful if:
"You want to use a rich Flex component in an Ajax application but do not want to write a lot of Flex code. If you wrap the component in a FABridge-enabled stub application, you can script it entirely from JavaScript, including using JavaScript generated remotely by the server."
The rich Flex component I'm trying to control in my Ajax application is a Google Maps swf. The swf is pretty simple ... it just looks like this:

I'm not sure I can include it as a library of classes as you describe in your post.
It would be really sweet if I could attach an id attribute to the embed tag and be able to call the functionality within the swf file in JavaScript.

hi, i am new at flex and tried to see a working porject.

Azure CDN SSL3.0 Disabled?

Does Azure CDN Server end point has SSL3.0 disabled after the poodle attack vulnerability?
We are having users who just have SSL3.0 checked on their IE browser and are not able to view CDN content. Once they check TLS 1.0 they are able to see the content.

SSL 3.0 Protocol is by default enabled for Azure Websites, Roles, and Windows Virtual Machines.
However, due to an industry-wide vulnerability affecting the SSL 3.0 protocol, it is possible to disable it.
It is also possible to disable SSLv3 on a server.
This ensures that all connections use the stronger TLS protocols.
Please note that users on legacy browsers, which only support SSL 3.0, will no longer be able to connect to the server.

Invalid endpoint URL

I am developing a portlet that uses EDK 5.1 (.NET). In the Page_Load event handler, I have the following two lines of code:
Plumtree.Remote.Portlet.IPortletContext myPortletContext = Plumtree.Remote.Portlet.PortletContextFactory.CreatePortletContext(this.Request, this.Response);
Plumtree.Remote.PRC.IRemoteSession myRemoteSession = myPortletContext.GetRemotePortalSession();
Unfortunately, the second line of code throws an exception that I am not able to know its reason. Here is the exception message:

From the EDK documentation, I recognized that this exception is thrown when "the endpoint URL is not valid", however, I couldn't know how to fix it. Is the endpoint URL stored in the database, or is it in a configuration file?

Have you tried using TCPTrace or some other intermediate HTTP/SOAP interception tool that will let you watch the body of the request? I'd give that a go first just so you can peek inside and see what the EDK is trying to hit.

WSDL for Provided Web Service does not resolve in IE

Hi,
After successfully providing a Web Service in FSCM 9/PT 8.49, I copied the generated WSDL URL in IE I was unable to view the WSDL. In-fact I cannot view any of the OOB WSDL's using the URL which PS generates after successfully posting it to the WSDL repository.
Any thoughts Please.

The URL that i am currently using is "http://localhost:8280/PSIGW/PeopleSoftServiceListeningConnector/SALES_ORDER_LOAD.1.wsdl
And when I paste this in IE I get the following response...

Status Code 20 & MessageID - 505 ... I could not paste the actual SOAP Fault message, as the Rich Text format was not resolving it correctly...
And on the Web Server window it says "[Fatal Error] :1:1: Content is not allowed in prolog.
I did lookup this particular error message for Weblogic and what I could make out is that the XML doc being provided has additional BOM Objects which need to stripped..
