  • Is is possible to have a free-trial restored?

I spent a month trying to get Azure / OAuth / Dynamics working for my web application.
The Azure account I created (and configured successfully) was deprovisioned. Is it possible to salvage the account?
I'd love to at least be able to refer to the existing settings.

    Hi dclaysmith,
    Complementing
Jambor yao answer....this scenario could help you...
"I had this very issue happen to a client of mine a few weeks ago. We had them set up an Azure 3-Month free trial while we finished the development and testing of their solution. They set me up as a Co-Administrator and I deployed the solution for them
    when completed.
Fast-forward 3 months later and I get an e-mail and call from the client that he's getting notified by his customers that the site is displaying a site unavailable message.
I was able to get assistance from Azure support on this issue. It's actually considered a Billing issue when you open the support ticket, so starting a support ticket is free.
All you need to do is log into the Azure Management portal and select the Support option from the top menu. Click the link "Get Support" under "technical and billing support". At this point a customized "Contact Microsoft Support"
dialog will pop up with all your Subscriptions listed with an option to select the Support Type. In this case, you'll select the expired subscription and choose "Billing" as the support type and also the appropriate Region and Language and then Create
    Ticket.
I don't recall the exact options that appear after that step, but you'll be able to select an option for expired services and enter some comments to describe that you'd like to access the data from your expired trial.
An Azure Support Engineer got back to us the next business day and responded "I have looked at your account. If all you require is access to your website and database, you don’t have to migrate anything. I can reactivate your expired trial subscription
as a Pay-As-You-Go subscription. All your data will still be in your storage account."
In the end, we didn't end up needing their assistance after all. As with all issues like this, I had already started with an alternate plan in case they had not been able to simply re-activate the account. Luckily with this solution, there was no data stored
    anywhere except the database.
I had the original web project in source control and also a recent .bacpac export of the SQL Azure database stored in Azure Storage under another non-expired account. We set up a new Pay-as-you-go account and redeployed the site and restored the database
    within a few hours.
Had we not had the "Plan B" option, it appears that they can simply re-activate the expired account. Azure Support has been great for me any time I've needed assistance with an issue, so they're always the best place to start"

  • Azure website is stopped; after free trial what happens next?

    Hi,
My Azure website is stopped and I don't understand why. Restarting it doesn't work.
I have a free trial subscription, which seems to expire today.  I would like to upgrade it but there is no information about the financial impact of upgrading.  I found this link about the different service tiers:
    https://msdn.microsoft.com/library/dn741336.aspx
But there is no finance information.  They give you links into all kinds of documentation but the basic question of what to do after free trial subscription ends is nowhere.
I was able to link to a Web page that details monthly charges (which unfortunately now I couldn't find) where a developer pays $29 monthly and standard subscription costs $300 monthly. I need a standard but I don't have that money to burn. So I'm thinking
of the developer plan but I don't know what services go with it.  What happened to the pay-as-you-go? Where is the explanation for what services are included in that plan? Where
are the plans? Why can't I find it in the Azure portal?
    Appreciate anyone with suggestions.
    Marilyn Gambone

    Hi,
If your Free trial is going to expire and you would like to continue with the azure services, recommend you to go for pay as you go service. click Buy
here for pay as you go service.
This offer is billed at the standard
Pay-As-You-Go rates and You will be notified at least 30 days in advance of any changes to the Pay-As-You-Go rates. New services may be added periodically to the Azure platform. Other details
    here.
Estimate your expected monthly bill using the
Pricing Calculator, and track your actual account usage and bill at any time using the
    billing portal. Setup
automatic email billing alerts to be notified if your spend goes above an amount you configure.
Also, I would like to clarify that if you want to scale the websites, the websites must be in the basic or standard mode. When we create basic or standard website in free trial account, the website consume the credits limit
of azure free trial account. But if the free trail is expired, your service will be stopped and your data will be stored 3 month unless you reactivated it or became the paid users .

  • Upgrading from Free Trial has ruined my azure.

I was on a Free Trial subscription for about a month and it was so great that I decided to switch to pay-as-you-go. It seems now that all of my sites/databases are still under the Free Trial subscription and the Active Directory is somehow sync'd with the
inoperable free trial databases. This is messing things up for me royally.
I would be happy if someone could just "reset" my azure so that I can start over fresh with my new pay-as-you-go account.
Thanks in advance for any help.

  • Windows Azure Free Trial Sign-up BUG

Hi, I'm from the Philippines. Few minutes ago, I tried to sign up for free trial on Windows Azure using my SMART Money (a Debit Card in the Philippines but works with MasterCard). I can verify this card on PayPal and shop online using this card. I entered
all valid information (triple checked it!) but an error keeps popping up and I can't register at all while my card is charged with $1 for every try!
I'm really frustrated because I already tried it 2 times and my card is charged $2 already!!!
What will happen to my $2? Will I get any refund? Should I try again and be charged another $1? What should I do? Please help me. I'm really depressed right now. I lost $2 on nothing. I really want to try your VPS.
Hoping for a reply. Thanks in advance!

  • Azure free trial version

    Hello,
I have a problem, I've got my free trial subscription on Microsoft Azure website. And somehow I canceled it.
Now I couldn't get it back. Is there a way to get it back. I'm a student and so the free trial is the only way I could try Azure. Maybe there are some other ways to try Azure Services.

  • Heloo Azure Free Trial

I wanna ask about that free
plan,i make 3 cloud vps...for a month its totally free
what is those gredits on my account?
    what about traffic?its all free?
How many machines i can make?
    thanks

    Hi Sir,
All of you used service is free  in your Free Trial. You could use Virtual Machines, Websites, Cloud Services, Mobile Services, Storage, SQL Database, Content Delivery Network, HDInsight, Media Services, and many more . Please see your offer message.
    http://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/offers/ms-azr-0044p/
Use the pricing calculator to estimate how much you could use with
$200 of Azure credits. Here are a few usage scenarios that consume no more than
    $200 in a month:
Run 2 small Virtual Machine instances for the entire month, or
Store 800 GB of data in Storage, or
Develop and test a web application using Cloud Services, with 3 web roles and 2 worker roles on medium instances, for 10 hours a day, 5 days a week, or
Run a 100GB SQL Database for the entire month
Also, I suggest you could refer to this FAQ:

  • Azure free trial & SQl server

I'm trying to setup a SQL (2008 or 2012) server within my free Azure trial.
However, getting   'The operation is not supported for your subscription offer type'
From what I see/have read - this should be possible
There is no point in running a trial, if I cannot get all the required services.
Can anyone confirm if SQL is or is not part of the free trial?
    Thanks

    Hi,
You should be able to create SQL Azure with your Azure trail.
I would request you to open a Billing Support
ticket, they will be able to check this for you.

  • Azure Free trial with Neteller account

    Hi everyone.
As I live in Tunisia, we don't have the right to own an international credit card, unless we pay a certain amount and have a certain status. As a simple user, I tried to create a free trial account but my credit card was not accepted. I heard about an alternative
which is Neteller account. I can get an international credit card with deposing in it more than 10 euros.
I need to know if my Neteller credit card would be accepted in the Azure free trial subscription ?
    Many thanks.

  • How do I send an email to support? re: free trial didn't start but Adobe thinks it did

    Hi,
I just received an email from Adobe regarding  a free trial of FM 11 that I tried to download a couple of weeks ago, but it didn't complete and I got a message that the trial couldn't download because archive files were missing and I should download those too (it's a pity the downloader is not told how to do this).
However Adobe obviously thought that not only did the download work, but I'd already launched my trial, as I got email confirmations and 'Welcome' and tutorial suggestions.
I didn't do anything about this at the time, but I just received an email from Adobe saying my trial was half over.  I replied to the email, but afterwards I noticed that it was a no-reply.
Who can I contact to clear this up, please?  I would like to start my trial fresh, after my first launch of the download I successfully performed yesterday.
I wanted to chat with someone but I didn't see a button and the instructions about solving this were inadequate.  I know there is a place for sending requests like this but I used it quite a while ago and I'm not sure how to navigate there.
    Thank you for your help,
    Susan
PS Allow me to ask this question also, while I'm writing:  I'm a newbie to Framemaker10 (I'm using it at work but I don't have it on my home computer, hence the download).  I've asked the community a few questions. Two have been answered, but two are not receiving any replies at all, even though I notice that several users have read my questions.
Is there any way to be certain that questions will be answered, or does such assurance only come with a purchase of support?  My FM license was purchased only a little more than a month ago, so would such service still be active?
Also, does a purchase of a FM license allow for use on both a desktop and a laptop, like the Creative Suite apps?
    Thanks again!

    Hi Susan,
    Welcome to forums.
As you mentioned that you received an email from Adobe. That is a auto generated email by the systems, so you don't need to worry about it, If you download the product today, according to system it starts from today however pratically, trial starts after you installed and first launch it. So please ignore that email
You can install the FM in your desktop and laptop and activate it on both the machines however cannot use it at the same time as per User License Agreement. As Harpeet mentioned the email for support team, you can post your question on forums or to that email.
    Hope this answers your query.
    Thanks
    Priyank
