Help!
I installed the Forms and WebUtil Version 1.0.2(Beta) and jacobBin_17.
Then I use Forms to create a form called WUTEST.fmb, then attach the webutil.pll, then subclass the webutil.olb. At last, I save the form and exit.
But when I open WUTEST.fmb again it shows an error:
FRM-18108:Failed to load the following objects:
Source Module:webutil.olb
Source Object:WEBUTIL
Then I check the environment. My Forms version is 9.0.2.9.0 (Production) and DB 9.2.0.4 Windows. I create a user webutil/webutil in DB and runned create_webutil_db.sql. I followed webutil_manual.pdf and readme file to install webutil & jacobBin_17.
I can only find one suspicious point: In the Forms "Imported Java Classes", There are no other classes in oracle-forms except webutil.
How to solve it? Thanks!!!

The problem seems to be that you subclassed the webutil olb and that this now seems to be out of reach.
FRM-18108:Failed to load the following objects:
Source Module:webutil.olb
Source Object:WEBUTIL
Suggestion, put webutil.olb into Forms90 and then subclass it again.
The rest of your posting is irrelevant to the problem you describe.

Dear Group,
I have 2 forms in Oracle Forms 6i. One of the forms contains an object group. The other form contains the object that I subclassed it to.
When I open the form that contains the subclassed object group, I get the FRM-18108 error.
If I open the form with the original object group, then open the subclassed form, there is no error.
Does this mean I must always open the original form in order to work on the one with the subclassed object group?
I hope there is an simple solution to what is something I am missing in my Oracle Forms setup.

Hello everyone.
I designed a form. I get a frm-40508 error.
Tables for this form are valid and exist.
I have no idea what else could cause this error.

Is the table you are trying to insert into in the same Schema as the user you are compiling and running the form as?
eg. If you created the table as USER 'SCOTT', are you compiling and running the form as 'SCOTT'?
If the schema is the same for the table creation and the compilation/running of your form then I'm a bit stuck.
If, however, they are different then what you will need to do is grant a public synonym for your table and then grant Select, Insert, Update, Delete privelliges (as appropriate) to the user/role accessing the table/running the form.

Help: Confusing FRM-40505 error

I am working a FROM based on stored procedures. This error occur on actual test DB login. However, if I login from my own DB space, the error does not occur.
Notice: I put exactly same SPEC and BODY of stored procedures in my DB space as well as in test DB.
Any clues?

Cause:     Processing error encountered. The table associated with the current block of the form might not exist, or your username might not have authority to perform the specified action on the table.
Action:     Pressing [Display Error] provides more information, if it is available. You can also try to update or delete this record later. If necessary, contact your DBA.
Level:     >25
Type:     Error
Try to issue the Forms-Builtin DISPLAY_ERROR to display the wrong statement. It could be missing grants or synonyms on your test DB.

Strange frm-18108 after breaking reference with an olb module

Hi all.
We have a foms10g module upgraded from a previous 6i version. As part of the upgrade process, an old olb module reference was broken, and a newer olb module was added.
Every time the form module is open it displays a frm-18108 error, saying a reference to an object is missing. The object is a pl/sql procedure which was part of the old olb library. We have checked, and there is not such reference. But it has to be somewhere although we can not see it.
I believe there was an issue when breaking the reference, but have no idea of how to fix this problem.
Any help will be greatly appreciated ...!

We are completely sure all objects have been removed ... Remember the object is a pl/sql procedure.... How can one miss that ...?

Clearly, there are still some objects from the Forms Object Library (OL) that still exist in your form or you would not be getting this error. ;) Not all objects in an OL are PL/SQL objects. They can also be Property Classes, Visul Attributes, Canvases, Forms Triggers & Program Units, etc.

FRM-18108 APPSTAND etc

Hi all
I'm trying to install Developer Suite 10g, but I'm not doing very well.
I've downloaded the install from here, and extracted it to my local machine.
I've then installed it on Windows XP SP3, then updated the FORMS_PATH to point to the directory where I've downloaded all the forms and pll files from $AU_TOP/forms and $AU_TOP/resources.
However, I keep getting the dreaded FRM-18108 error saying APPSTAND, GLSTAND, etc can't be found, and then the FRM-10102 errors for all the PL/SQL libraries.
Is there anything I'm missing here?
I've tried this on both an XP SP3 machine and a Windows 7 machine, and I get the same error, so I must be doing something wrong.

But i have given the the path of the folder that has all the files in the Forms_Path registry and also in the default.env file. Still i am getting the above error. Any solution for this?.

You are getting this error because the "Referenc.olb" object library (OL) is not in your FORMS_PATH. You can either add the directory where the OL resides to the PATH environment variable or (preferably) you add the directory to the FORMS_PATH in the Windows Registry (assuming you installed Forms on a Windows computer). Modifying the FORMS_PATH is dependent on the version of Forms you installed. For Forms 10g, modify: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE => SOFTWARE => Oracle => KEY_DevSuiteHome10g => FORMS_PATH String Value. For previous versions of Oracle Forms, modify: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE => SOFTWARE=> Oracle => HOME? => FORMS??_PATH (where ? = 0 - 9 depending on the number of Oracle products installed, and where ?? = 60, 90 if you have Forms 6 or Forms 9i installed (FORMS60_PATH or FORMS90_PATH).

i had to take my photoshop file into a hardrive because my dad was going to give me a new Mac and when things didn't work out and went back to my old one i use the time capsule thing to save everything before but didn't give me photoshop so i physically moved the file and tried to open it but then this error shows up

Need help in analysing the error in JasperReportIntegration Test Applicatio

Our DBA installed Jasper Reports Integration kit Version 1.1.0.0 in our test environment. Apex version is 3.2.1.00.12. Oracle database is 11g and Apache Tomcat is 7.0.26
I was able to bring up the Jasper Reports Integration test application. When I navigate to "Report Tester" tab, changed the JasperReportIntegration URL to the correct localhost and then cklick the "Show report (directly)" button, I got this message:

There's no jasperreports-fonts-3.7.4.jar file in the webapps/JasperReportsIntegration/WEB-INF/lib folder. The only font file available is jasperreports-fonts-4.5.0.jar. I've downloaded the 3.7.40 jar file and saved it in the same folder without deleting the 4.5.0.jar. I tried to run the Test application again and still give me the same error.

I also tried the suggestion from the link provided by Nick. However, the syntax is for SUN environment and we are using IBM so I searched the equivalent of that command in IBM. Our DBA added the Java system property in the startup script by adding these 2 lines. But it errored out on the first 2 lines. I'm not sure if I do have the right syntax.

Hello Mohammadshamlou. I understand that you're having some issues using your Recovery Disc. It is giving you the error that the drive is not connected. Is this correct? How long have you had the notebook?
What issue originally led you to want to try a recovery?
The error seems to imply that it is not detecting the hard drive as this would be the most logical destination drive. So, I feel the best thing to try first is verify that the hard drive is in proper working order. Follow these steps and please post the result.

I know this is a bit late but I came accross this thread trying to resolve this same problem and came up with a solution that worked for me, so thought I would share it here too. I hope it helps someone else.
I just resolved this on Win Vista (should apply equally for Win7 too). Please uninstall iTunes before proceeding though. I'll walk you through the process I followed, if you like you can jump straight to the Solution section.
Problems:
The initial error during the installation of iTunes was:
An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'Microsoft.VC80.CRT,version="8.0.50727.4053",type="win32",publicKeyToken='1fc8b 3b9a1e18e3b",processorarchitecture="x86". Please refer to Help and Support for more information. HRESULT:0x8007054F
The error (after installing iTunes) when trying to run iTunes was:

I opened the registry and (as instructed in the MSKB article) deleted the following keys:

NextQueueEntryIndex
AdvancedInstallersNeedResolving
Reboot and reinstall iTunes.
