Back up time stamp?

Hello team,
Actually i was taking Back up time stamp of ABAP system using DB12 and from OS level , i found that from DBserver time is 21:18 GMt and from SAp gui it is 20:00 gmt , may i know why there is the difference in time stamp but my sap is completely in synchronise with DATABASE server.
Can anyone let me know shall i go for sapnote ?

Hi,
On the SAP side, run transaction /nSTZAC. The system time zone is client independent and uses default time zone (client  dependent).
The OS time and SAP system time should be the same.
The tables for time zone customizing are client dependent and therefore it is necessary to change the time zone settings in each client to receive a correct date/time calculation. It is necessary to update the DST rules in all clients including 000.
In terms of Java please check.

You can change the timezone of the JVMs using the -Duser.timezone parameter
So you should add -Duser.timezone=<timezone> to all dispatcher and server processes in your systems, using the configtool
1) open config tool
2) select yes
3) select "cluster-data->instanceXXX->serverXXX/Dispatcher"
4) in "Java parameters" add new line "-Duser.timezone=<timezone>"
5) click "Apply changes"
6) restart your instance
Please refer to following link which gives you the list of
user.timezone supported by JVM 1.4

This should resolve your issue..

  • How do I to get the date/time stamp back on my texts in ioS7?

I've looked and looked to find an option and I can't seem to locate one.  Does anyone know how to put the date/time stamp back...?  It does appear in, but not consistently.

Swipe right to left and they will appear as you need them.

  • In IPhoto I have edited the order of my images. When I play the album on Apple TV the order reverts back to the time stamp. Any suggestions on how to get the images to play on my TV in the order I want?

Apple TV won't play back my album images from IPhoto in the edited order I want. The order seems to revert back to the time stamp for the photos. I have combined the photos from 3 different cameras and they had slightly different clock settings. I am working on an edited presentation of about 1500 Pics from travels in Turkey this summer and sometimes the order makes more sense if I move some of the images quite a ways. Is there any solution short of changing the time stamp on every single image?

Using the 'adjust date and time' setting is the best way to syncronise the photos from all your cameras. However as you say this merely puts them all in the correct order chronologically.
If there are photos that you feel would be best somewhere else in an album other than in date order, it may depend on how many as to which is the best option for you. If it's only a few you may wish to adjust the date/time on these few manually so they fit in with the rest where you want them.
If you have a lot of photos you want in a different order to the order by date, or you really don't care about what date/time is used and just want them in the order you want them in, then 'batch change' is the best option.
From the view menu, select 'sort photos - manually', drag the photos around until they are in the order you want, select all of them. Now select the batch change option and choose 'Date' from the 'set' options, type in a date and time for the first photo, it can be anything but it's probably a good idea to choose something close to the original date, then check the box 'Add'. You can keep the value set at 1 minute or enter any value you want, it may be more realistic to divide the length of your holiday by the number of photos you have to calculate a value, but it really isn't necessary. Clicking OK will adjust all the dates without affecting the title or description and the photos will now show on the Apple TV in that order.
Just to be sure iTunes is updated, you may want to go to the advanced menu/choose photos to share in iTunes and deselect the album, apply, reselect the album and apply again.

  • Back-up of Specific Files based on their Time Stamp

I use Time Machine, but I have 3 folders I like to back-up more frequently. I currently drag and drop them onto an external disk drive. This causes the Copy window to appear that says "An item named “XXXX” already exists in this location. Do you want to replace it with the one you’re moving? Apply to all?" etc. It then proceeds to write ALL files whether they have changed or not.
What I'm looking for is an app that does basically the same thing EXCEPT only re-writes the file if it has changed based on the time stamp of the file. Also, if the file is no longer in the source folder, it will delete it in the back-up folder. And if it hasn't changed, doesn't bother to re-write it and leaves it untouched, saving substantial time.
To be clear, I'm not looking for "Syncing" folders! I just want to back-up those files that have changed.
    Thanks!

    More often than hourly?

CarbonCopyCloner and SuperDuper can do that, but I don't think you can schedule them more often than once per hour. They're used most often to make "bootable clones," but would work for your purpose as well. I don't use SD, but on CCC you could set up a "Scheduled task" and run it manually when desired.
[CarbonCopyCloner|http://www.bombich.com> is donationware; [SuperDuper|http://www.shirt-pocket.com/SuperDuper/SuperDuperDescription.html] has a free version, but you need the paid one (about $30) to do updates instead of full replacements, or scheduling.
You might want to investigate the Chronosync app; it might work, too.

  • IPhone texting; no verizon 'checkmark' no time-stamp on texts- it makes texting unpleasant- am considering taking it back- how can I fix this?

IPhone texting; no verizon 'checkmark' no time-stamp on texts- it makes texting unpleasant- am considering taking it back- how can I fix this?  Is there an app I can buy?  If not is there a smart phone out there that includes this?

ALL of my messages have the date and time. I just sent that one to get something generic to post.  It's true that each text in a conversation does not have its own time stamp, if there is a minimal amount of time between texts, but take a look at this.  "R" replied 25 minutes after my initial text and that message has date/time.  I replied immediately and that one does not.

  • VOICE MEMOS and Wrong Time Stamps in Itunes

I've noticed that my voice memos in the new iTunes 11.1.3 (8) have incorrect time stamps all over them now. This is a real problem for me, since I need the dates that the messages were recorded. I just tested this out by recording a new one today (2/11/14) on my new Iphone 5s. It showed up dated 8/13/12 2:13pm. My phone has the correct date on it, so what gives?
    Any solutions out there?
Not to mention the fact that there are NUMEROUS DUPLICATES of previous memos that have become weird artifacts in my iTunes library each time I've backed up my materials. AND the new iTunes setup makes it incredibly hard to *actually remove data* from my system. I am concerned my private material is no longer private, but being archived elsewhere for meta-data purposes.
    C'mon, Apple. You're really slipping.

I see all timezones, have you tried setting the time/date manually? I'd do than, then pop an email to support.

  • How to Convert a 'Time Stamp' field to Date......?

    Hello Gurus:
I am using a Generic Extractor to pull some stats data.  One of the field is a Time Stamp field, which tells me the date and time of Transaction run.  I only need "Date".  I tried mapping the stamp field to Date info-object hoping for a automatic determination of the Date.... (like the Week, Month happens).   Well, I was wrong!
I only need the Date part.  How can I do this in BI?  is teher a specific SAP info-object for this that could be used..?  If not, what would be the routine.  The Date field that comes in is a SAP format... "u201C20,070,505.0000000u201D meaning the Transaction was run
on 05/05/2007.  How can I get this convertion in BI transaformation??  is there a special Routine...?
Also, we are trying to use "Time Stamp" based DELTA from a generic extraction.  The field used is a System date with time stamp.  Value looks like u201C20100,505,170,113.2918470u201D, u201C20100,505,170,113.4748820u201D  Every record pulled has a different value... probably giving me the time at which the record was created or generated.  Now, with DELTA specifid on this type of field, what will be the 'Current Status" value in Delta queue?  Is it based on the last record created and will that be the highest value?  For next Delta extraction, does it compare the extraction time stamp to this value and bring in those records that are greater than the 'Current Status" value?  I guess with that we can have as many deltas as we want..... right??  is there any particular setting I should be doing or worried/ careful about setting etc....?
Thanks for the response in advance....
    Best..... SMaa

    Thanks Akshay,
Your suggestion worked right away and was probably the easiest of all.  I tried the Function Module that Pravender suggested,
but it did not return me the date back.... may be because it does not need the Micro Seconds in it....?  Routine as suggested by
Satyam might work too, but did not go there....!
    Thanks to all of you.

  • How do you determine the time stamp or pointer in an Event?

Perhaps I want to tell someone to check the specific point in an event, like 22:08 into the event or from marker 1234 to 5678.  What markers does iMovie use?
Maybe I have 20 favorite clips in an Event and I want to reference a specific one.
When playing back a YouTube video I can say, Go to the 2:38 mark.   With an event, what time stamp can I reference?

Event clips have a time code based on the time of day you shot the clip. Clips are listed in the event in chronological order. So you you want to point somebody to the action that tool place on March 23 at 10:03:45, you can.
Click VIEW/Playhead Info. Now as you skim your mouse over the event clips, you will see the date and time info.
This works on clips shot by a digital camera. If you have clips shot by older analog cameras like VHS or 8MM, you need to take some additional steps. Let me know if you need this.

      and continue
I can use write spreadsheet to have the three numeric tempdata but the last column formatted as time stamp and string
how do I add time stamp to my data and call the spreadsheet write VI to append to the excel file ?
    help
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

You have at least two possibilities:  One is to do the formatting yourself with string functions and write the data as a text file or an array of strings.
Another is to convert the timestamp to a Double and save it as numeric data.  This is only useful if your are going to read the data back into LV and analyze it there, because Excel's numeric representation of date and time is different from that used by LV.

  • Time Stamp format from file problem

    Hey there,
I have a pretty peculiar problem. I'm working on two PCs right now, one is my private laptop running on Windows 8, and the other one the PC at my workplace, running on Windows XP, but on the same version of LabVIEW. I use this method to save the time and date to a tab delimited .txt file. Then later, with another VI, I read the date and time written to file to reconstruct the time stamp. I've noticed that dates written to file from my workplace differ from the dates written from my private PC: in Windows XP, there are "-" separating the day, month and year. In Windows 8, it's "/". There are other differences (see pictures). So naturally, when reading from file using my VI, I can only read on my private PC files (or at least dates) written on my private PC and vice versa, I can't read files written on my private PC on my workplace PC. Can anybody tell me why there's a difference in format, or how to write the date uniformly so I can read it on any PC, or how to read both formats?
So this is the method I use for writing the time and date (the subVI only inserts a certain number of TAB characters).
This is what it looks like on Windows 8
This is what it looks like on Windows XP
This is the VI (attached) I use to read the time stamps (the first row actually contains the time stamp in HH:MM: SS format for a whole bunch of measurements).
    Have a nice day.

I would suggest using the ISO-8601 UTC format.
The only limitation is that the string value is in reference to GMT.
The conversion of the string back to a timestamp will present the date/time on your front panel indicator as local time.

Now is the right time to use %^<%Y-%m-%dT%H:%M:%S%3uZ>T

  • Camcorder uploading with time stamp option

I am looking for a program that will upload my panasonic camcorder videos and time stamp it as well quickly and efficiently.

If it failed in BW (request is red) and you do a delta  - system will ask to mark it a 'repeat' because the last one failed. When you choose 'repeat', it is going to let the extractor know that it is a repeat delta.
In this case, it will extract data from 25th to current date (both last and current delta).
Repeat delta will work the same, just that the lower and upper limits will be applied to the selection of the delta field.
Lower limit -> adjust back the lower selection value by this value
upper limit ->Adjust back the upper selection value by this much.
upper limit 1, lower limit 1 (by the way lower limit isn't usually applicable in real situations)
Ran delta on 20th first time
Select all data upto 19th (adjusted due to upper limit)
    Ran again on 23rd
    Select from 19th (ie 20 - 1 due to lower limit 1) upto 22nd (ie 23 - 1 due to upper limit)
    Ran on 27th
Select from 21st (22 - 1 due to lower limit 1) upto 26th (27 - 1 due to upper limit) and so on.
Repeat delta will follow this logic but will also bring the selection that was executed in the last delta run.
    Hope it clears.

  • How to add a time stamp to an array

Currently the VI that I have attached has the capacity to log data from the set of 14 arrays. I currently have a tick counter hooked up. However, I would like to add a time stamp that will display the elapsed time in seconds from the begining of the data logging. Could anyone help me out with that? Please see the attached VI and sorry for how messy it is, I have yet to go back and clean up the wiring.
the mess of arrays on the lower left hand of the while loop feed into the "Index Array" building block and from there they will be scaled (for most of the wires the multiplyer is just there so that I can see what channel they will be when I hook it up for logging) The wires then feed into a "Build Array" Building block and I assmed that is where I had to hook up the time stamp for me to be able to log it.
    Thanks,

That tool does not exist before LabVIEW 8.6.  The original poster attached a VI from LV 8.0
Attached is the VI where I ran Block Diagram cleanup in 8.6.1f1 and back saved to LV 8.0.  I went through and cleaned up almost all the coercion dots as well.
The original poster should start working from this file since it is much cleaner than the one they posted.

  • Time stamp problem in CITADEL

    Hello Everyone,
I have one SCADA system running with CITADEL as database environment.. last day due to SMPS fail inside CPU, my whole system went shutdown.. After restart, my time stamp was changed, may be due to weak motherboard battery ... I restarted my LabVIEW based application for data acqusition and storage ..
This effected the data storage going through that computer .. My system time went to 04/05/1640.. And inside MAX > Historical Database > CITADEL the all tag was having start day as "04/05/1640" and last date as "unable to find" .. Then i corrected my system date/time and restarted application and tag engine.. but my time stamp is still same in CITADEL
This is creating problem in exporting my data in DIAdem format .. I am afraid do my all last data recorded before went off ?
    1) How to check CITADEL data in some other computer without pulling data out from citadel interface? .. I mean to ask is there any way to copy data from computer and read it in other computer having MAX and CITADEL ..
    2) How to recover all recorded data, as my export is giving no data inside tag ?
    Thanks for any help
    HS

To recover the old database, One thing we can do is rebuild the index for the old database. We do this by going into MAX and right clicking the old database and selecting detach. After it is detached, navigate to the database on your hard drive and delete the pid.cdih file. Then, go back to MAX and attach the database back into citadel. When reattached without the index file, it will rebuild the index for your database. This may take a bit, but might recover your data.
Or You could go to another PC and try to get into the database. The problem could be on your PC and not the database PC.

  • Time stamps not linear

    Hi,
I have a DAQ USB-6251 driven by labview.
The time stamps on the text file have backward and forward jumps in them.  See attached for picture.
They increase linearly for about 12000 samples, then jump backwards
about a 3 sec, linearly increase for about 1000, then jump forward
about 6 seconds.  This cycle then repeats ie increasing nice and
linearly for about 12000 samples, jumping back etc.
I suspect there is a buffer somewhere which fills up and then acts strangly when trying to reset.
    Any explanations?  Any solutions?
Here's some further info about my setup:
    Producer loop:
I generate a continuous analog output signal which I feed back into one of analog input pins which I also continuously acquire.
The generation and acquisition both have sample rates of 4096
samples/sec and 1024 samples are set to acquire/generate per loop.
    The recorded input is enqueued.
    Consumer loop:
Dequeues data and write to text file.

    Ben,
Maybe this is a good chance for me to learn (be convinced of) something then.  I'd try this out for myself on hw, but I've got tests running now.
Let's suppose I have both an AI and an AO task, both set up to start off the same sample clock.  However, the AO outputs on the leading edge of a clock while the AI samples on the trailing edge of the clock.  Let's further stipulate that the clock is generated by an on-board counter at 5 kHz with 90% duty cycle.  So the AO update occurs 180 microseconds before the AI.  How do waveforms handle this offset in t0?  Will t0 simply be set to 0 because of the use of an "external" sampling clock?  Or will the two t0 values be equal and non-zero?  Or will they be sometimes equal and sometimes different, depending on the "phase" of the system clock -- either the 1 msec one or the 16 msec one used for system timestamps?
Now, concerning triggering:  Does t0 represent the time of the trigger?  Or of the first sample / output *after* the trigger?  Or is it the time you call DAQmx Start prior to receiving a trigger signal?
Other concern: even when not *strictly* necessary, I try to make a habit of making code that runs pretty efficiently, unless that puts an undue burden on development / maintenance effort.  My experience with processing large arrays vs. processing clusters containing large arrays has suggested that pure arrays are typically significantly more efficient to manage.  (I'm sure it depends on sizes and kinds of processing too.)  Aren't waveforms essentially cluster-like?
Well, enough of the blah, blah, blah.  I really *am* interested.  I know many of the analysis functions prefer (if not require) waveform inputs rather than raw arrays these days, so there are some clear code simplicity advantages to waveforms IF I can be convinced that I'm fully informed of the downsides and gotchas.  (Another example of worry: when integrating a waveform, how does the floating point roundoff accumulate from the 'dt' value?  Will results late in a long array contain more cumulative roundoff error?)
