    I need to know if we can change color options for prompt fields?
    Thanks,
    Rick

    Regarding prompt feild no idea.
    We can change the colour of that data which comes after prompting parameter.
    I mean  you have created a parameter Country then you can change the colour of field based on parameter by writing formula.
    Right click on field-> Format field->Font tab->on color clik on X-2
    write formula if {?My parameter}="USA" then red
    Have a look to Sample reports:

  • [SOLVED]Color Bash Prompt help

    So I have been customizing my arch box and everything has been great except for one problem; the bash color prompt. I am kind of running a color screen where I am using the same shade of green, blues, grays, etc. I would like to continue that with my bash color prompt. However it seems to use some weird numbering system for its colors that I am not familiar with. I know that there is a way to use 256 colors, but I am not sure how.
    So for example I would like to have this shade of green from bash  0;32m' as this #87d75f  in html notation.
    Is there a way for this to be done? Thanks.

    The prompt inherits colours from those specified in .Xresources https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Xresources

    Jina,
    Properties that can not be set using Designer properties or preferences, such as these colours, can usually be set by setting the required property for the object type in the object library. For more details read the Designer help on Object Libraries.

  • Color Bash prompt Wiki needs editing [SOLVED]

    Howdy archers
    I didn't know where else or who I should contact for this....
    but I found something that "may" need editing on this part of the wiki     http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Color_Bash_Prompt
    the part where it says     * Edit root's Bash file; copy it from /etc/skel if the file is not present:
    # nano /root/.bash_profile
    I tried this over and over again with no luck... then I figured out that the info on the wiki was incorrect... you are not suppose
    copy ".bash_profile" to /root     you are suppose to copy    ".bashrc" over to /root and add what you want in it... otherwise
    no changes take effect
    cheers

  • [SOLVED] Color Bash Prompt - Arch Latest News w/o description

    Hi everybody, i'm trying to get the Arch Latest News in the bash profile when terminal starts. I followed the wiki https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Co … s_at_logon and I can show the latest news without problems. What I want to do is to show only the titles and links, without description, that uses much space in the terminal. I tried to figure out what lines I should delete in the /etc/bash.bashrc file but.. you know the sintax is pretty obscure for the most of us (at least for me). I see that there is a description line.. but, really I can't manage this. How can I do this? Thanks in advance.

  • Where is Background Color Property for Text Field Prompt in Developer 6i

    I update all my works from developer 2000 to developer 6i (forms 6.0). All my screens are now irregular becoz, the text field prompt background color property is not present in forms 6i. Can you help me how to solve this prob.
    (one more solution i found is, can do the prompt as separate canvas object, but is there any way to set the background color for prompt entered in text field.)
    Thank you

    Hi
    I think there is a bug in the first release of Forms 6i,
    where the prompts got the same backgroung color of the
    related item (in fact, it must have no back color,
    because it has no "background color" property).
    Try applying a patch over it.

  • Where is background color stored in CS3 Bridge?

    I would like to change the background color of the Bridge interface to match my desktop and Photoshop (both of which are currently #C0C0C0, or (192,192,192). I can go into Edit/Preferences/General, and play with the User Interface Brightness and Image Backdrop sliders and eyeball it, but I'm looking for something a little more precise.
    Is the color saved in an XML file somewhere? (I looked in Adobe Bridge Panel Preferences.xml, which seemed like the most likely candidate, but did not find anything that looked like it.)
    Any thoughts?

  • Print outs have thin border when -default-background-color is set

    Hey everyone.  In my application the print out have this very thin border.  The -default-background-color is set to #333333 (dark grey) and this is the problem.  When I set the color to #FFFFFF (white), the thin borders go away.
    When I set the default-backgroun-color to #FFFFFF, my loading screen is white.  I don't want that.
    Does anyone know how I can have my loading screen with a #333333, but not have the thin border lines around my print outs?  Setting the border properties on the printed component doesn't work.  The problem is with the background color.
    Thanks for reading.
    Tom

    Still hacking away at this problem.
    I thought I had the fix until I deployed the AIR application.  Setting the -default-background-color to white worked fine when running from flex builder, but when I installed the application.  The "borders" are still showing.
    Has anyone had any experience with this?  I'm printing Point of Sale receipts and they look like crap with these lines around them.  On top of this, some printers print differently.  The HPs print a border around the whole component. The Brother printers just print the left and right.  One of my customer's printers just prints the bottom and right borders.

  • Coloring Zsh

    I have a lot of questions about coloring zsh. I've read a LOT about coloring zsh and simply can't grasp some of the concepts. Here is my current ~/.zshrc:
    # Lines configured by zsh-newuser-install
    HISTFILE=~/.histfile
    HISTSIZE=1000
    SAVEHIST=1000
    setopt appendhistory autocd
    unsetopt extendedglob
    bindkey -e
    # End of lines configured by zsh-newuser-install
    # The following lines were added by compinstall
    zstyle :compinstall filename '/home/clarence/.zshrc'
    autoload -U colors && colors
    autoload -U promptinit
    autoload -Uz compinit
    compinit
    # End of lines added by compinstall
    [[ $- != *i* ]] && return
    alias ls='ls --color=auto'
    PROMPT="%{$fg[white]%}[%{$fg[blue]%}%n%{$fg[white]%}@%{$fg[white]%}%m %{$fg[white]%}%1~]$ "
    Here is my goal: To be able to look at my ~/.zshrc and know exactly what all of it means and be able to manipulate it into using the 256-colors that I want.
    I would like to be able to use a brighter blue for my name and some light/darker greys for some of the other parts but it seems I'm limited to simple colors and not 256-colors. From what I understand the "autoload -U colors && colors" section of my ~/.zshrc has something to do with the colors I am able to use. I would like to know how to be able to use colors like light blue and grey.
    Another issue is that when I use nano on zsh the text is black and that doesn't work out very well since I have a black background :S I have the same problem with reading man pages. I would like to know how to change the colors for that text too.
    If anyone can translate my ~/.zshrc and walk me through the steps of complete customization, I would be very thankful. Oh, I'm using urxvt too if that is of any count. Thanks in advance!
    Edit: Removed the big picture.

    I read on the wiki that most doesn't have a user-specific configuration file by default, and I did create that, I just copied the one from /usr/share/doc/most/most.rc to ~/, but the thing is that when I didn't have a ~/.mostrc I could see the effects, some orange/green/cyan text so I knew it was working and reading off of a system-wide config file, and it had a transparent background. Since I added the ~/.mostrc file it doesn't have a transparent background and it's kind of annoying. I wanted to look at the system-wide config file so I could see what they did to give it a transparent background. By the way, thanks for the tip about looking at the package database, that will definitely come in handy later, but this time it still didn't point me to a system-wide config file.
    Since I included that path file in ~/.nanorc I can see similar effects of most, syntax being colored green and orange, but the normal text is still black and pretty hard to read. Here is the specific section I want to change in ~/.nanorc to get an overall white foreground and transparent background, but every time I change it I get the "cannot add a color command without a syntax command" error, even though I included the syntax line in ~/.nanorc.
    ## Color setup
    ## Format:
    ## syntax "short description" ["filename regex" ...]
    ## The "none" syntax is reserved; specifying it on the command line is
    ## the same as not having a syntax at all. The "default" syntax is
    ## special: it takes no filename regexes, and applies to files that
    ## don't match any other syntax's filename regexes.
    ## color foreground,background "regex" ["regex"...]
    ## or
    ## icolor foreground,background "regex" ["regex"...]
    ## "color" will do case sensitive matches, while "icolor" will do case
    ## insensitive matches.
    ## Valid colors: white, black, red, blue, green, yellow, magenta, cyan.
    ## For foreground colors, you may use the prefix "bright" to get a
    ## stronger highlight.
    ## To use multi-line regexes, use the start="regex" end="regex"
    ## [start="regex" end="regex"...] format.
    ## If your system supports transparency, not specifying a background
    ## color will use a transparent color. If you don't want this, be sure
    ## to set the background color to black or white.
    ## If you wish, you may put your syntaxes in separate files. You can
    ## make use of such files (which can only include "syntax", "color", and
    ## "icolor" commands) as follows:
    include "/usr/share/nano/sh.nanorc"
    ## Unless otherwise noted, the name of the syntax file (without the
    ## ".nanorc" extension) should be the same as the "short description"
    ## name inside that file. These names are kept fairly short to make
    ## them easier to remember and faster to type using nano's -Y option.
    ## All regexes should be extended regular expressions.
    About the alsamixer thing, I didn't think it would be TOO hard, but if you say so I should probably put that off until later.
    Thanks for the help,
    Clarence

  • JOption Pane Background Color

    I am trying to change the background color of this JOptionPane. The UIManager changes the outside of the pane but not the area where the text is. How do I change that area too?
    JOptionPane optionPane = new JOptionPane();
    UIManager.put("OptionPane.background",new ColorUIResource(Color.blue));
    UIManager.put("OptionPane.messageForeground",new ColorUIResource(Color.white));
    optionPane.setOpaque(false);

    UIManager.put("Panel.backgroun", Color.blue); would do it, but it will also affect all other panels.

  • Adobe Color Printer Utility and PSCC2014 - why is it required??

    Adobe Color Printer Utility was required in CS5 when one needed to print with No Color Management.
    Was this not fixed in PSCC/PSCC2014? When I have Color Handling set to Photoshop Manages Colors, in the Color Management section just about the Color Handling Prompt, a yellow exclamation mark appears and the hypertext, "Please use Adobe Color Printer Utility if you need to print with No Color Management."
    Clicking this link sends me to this webpage:
    No Color Management option missing | Printing | Photoshop CS5<------
    https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/no-color-management-option-missing.html
    Is the Adobe Color Printer Utility compatible with/required in PSCC2014?

    No, it isn't required.
    But if you are trying to print calibration targets (aka "no color management"), then you'll need it.
    Why is that not in Photoshop? Because the OS vendors keep changing the print APIs and making "no color management" more difficult to implement.

  • Please explain the control surface in Color....

    I am new with using color, have been using Studio since initial release. When starting up color, it prompts for a control surface, giving me 3 options: Tangent Devices CP100, CP200 or JLCooper - MCS3000/Spectrum
    I can also also hit cancel, and I guess it loads without the control surface?
    In basic terms, what is the control surface (in Color), and what advantage do I have using it?
    I did find this explanation.... still not certain though

    Hopefully this review of one such control surface for Color will help you better understand what its all about.
