Background color change of a column in Advance table

Hi,
We have requirement to change the background color of column in advance table based on some condition. We tried putting code to change background color in Custom.xss using background-color property and setting newly created css dynamically based on condition but it seems it only changes the background color of text not the complete cell. We want to change the color of complete cell in an advance table.
Please let me know if there is any other way I can achieve this requirement. Any help would be highly appreciated.

Cell/Background color changes when copying to other Excel 2010 document

When you copy and paste report cells (e.g. CO report outputted in Office integration, MS Excel) to a new Excel file, the background color changed dramatically (to bright red).

We tried paste option > match destination formatting but does not help.
Anyone has similiar problems? Appreciate any help.

Background color changed from white to yellow and =25% changed to %% on email

I type =25% on my email and sent out, background color changed from white to yellow and =25% changed to %%.

Try leaving a space after the =
Thus: = 25%
Where and when did it change? Did it change inside Thunderbird? Did it change in the Sent folder? Or in a reply to you?
= and % are used in certain types of email encoding; =20% often appears, meaning character 0x20 which is 32 denary or the space character. It is often used where an explicit space would be illegal, and this is common in URLs and other links. I'm thinking that =25% similarly has a special meaning. It ''shouldn't'' get decoded, but software is buggy.
I can't reproduce it here, which is why I'm asking about how and when it changes. Where does the Microsoft software come into it?

When system is in a sleep mode or hibernate mode, it will save the data ans settings in memory or hard disk, so I suggest you run a memory check and a harddisk check and see if it can detect any errors.

We almost had the same requirement, but we just needed to color a specific column.
Here goes the solution to that, you might do the same for your row highlighting
Changes are required in jsff and one method to be added in backing bean
1. JSFF :

Hello Pavo,
it's also possible to take the code from ebitar and use the expression within styleClass instead of inlineStyle.
E.g. you can define a custom style "StyleClassEmptyText" in your skin and set this styleclass if af:inputtext is empty.
By using style classes you can have the same style in the whole application and you are able to change this style on a single point(in the styleclass) for the whole application.

You can update the table control in your program, the table control is a structure of the type CXTAB_CONTROL of TYPE-POOLS cxtab.
There you can hide or display column the same way you do for fields in LOOP AT SCREEN. there you will ahve to LOOP AT <control>-COLS.

Adding a column in advanced table using personalizations

Is it possible to add a column in advanced table using personalizations.
If Yes , then i am not able get "Create Item" Icon on Advanced table Level personalizations . Can some one give reason? or there is any other way to create Item in Adavnce table.

The support for adding an item in advancedTable is supported from 11.5.10 CU3 onwards. But you can manually add an item in the personalization document and upload it and that should work. I had earlier provided the xml tags for doing that in one of threads and you should be able to find that in the forum. If you are not getting it I will search it for you. We supported the same way of addition using personalization in CU3 so manual addition in to the pers document should be fine for this requirement only.

ADF Table row background color change ???

i got below sql view object
SELECT DEPARTMENT_ID,JOB_ID,COUNT(*) FROM EMPLOYEES GROUP BY DEPARTMENT_ID,ROLLUP(JOB_ID)
By using this i will get each department_id, jobid's and total employes count in each department
and i will get rollup for each departments ie i will get total employees.
So i want to change the back ground of the total row.

Hi,
you can do this by setting the background color of the outputText component that is the cell component e.g. in a read only table. Use the inlineStyle property to set the background-color but get the string from a managed bean. For each row you get a call to the managed bean and you can use JSF value binding
FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getApplication().createValueBinding()
to access #{row} so that you can determine the value of a row column. Based on this you return a color

Sequence Background Color Change

I kind of doubt this is possible, but you never know. Is it possible to change the gray background color of the timeline Sequence?
We need to make it extremely obvious what sequence our editors are using. We have several Sequences with specific codecs that are used for different purposes and we need to make it obvious beyond a doubt what Sequence they are working on. Unfortunately we can not use Compressor to make this change in our workflow. We are trying to make this workflow as simple as possible, and this is one consideration we are looking into.

I'm guessing this is an educational institution? If not, I agree with the above statements about not hiring editors who need different colored timelines. But if you ARE in the business of teaching, then consider this as part of the lesson. You can't teach someone how to be an editor without teaching them the things that editors have to know.
But the real answer of your question is, no. You can't have FCP automatically set your timeline to a certain color, even by using the label feature, on the bias of the sequence settings. Even if you use the label feature, you would still have to manually label each and every sequence that was created.
Teach your editors well. Their producer's **** will slowly go by.

In Xcelsius we dont have that option to change the background color of image. you Can edit in paint or some other image editor tools.

Webpage background color changed without me changing it.

The background color on my webpage changed and I dont think I did anything to the code. I have tried several things to fix it but its stays gray. It was a maroon color (#660000). I have tried moving the <body bgcolor="#660000"> before and after the closing head tag, and changing the number for a new color. Nothing works. What is it Im missing?

Needs a little cleanup. Help yourself by learning a little HTML and CSS.
I suspect you've created a background color in the CSS file for your contact form and, by adding a link to that CSS file in your home page and moving the body tag to make it invalid, you've inadvertently overridden the BG color on the home page.
As a starting point, in the HTML file of the home page
