Backup Assistant Album Not loading - rezound

I'm positive I don't like this feature, but if it must be on my phone I would like it to work. First many of my pictures have backed up and I can see them online - but they have disappeared from my phone. No idea where they went or when.
I found that I can go to the gallery and select the backup assistant album (I'm hoping the missing pictures can be seen here) but it just keeps loading and loading. It periodically asks for a password and I enter it...and then continues to load.
Thoughts?

Let's find out where those missing pictures went! I know we do not want you to loose those important memories! Let's see what happened. Now, there is a settings, if you go under Backup Assistant Plus and Advanced, to keep a local copy of the media or not. This means that once uploaded, you can have the media erased from the device to save storage or not. I would check this setting.
Secondly, if your gallery is not loading on your computer, I suggest you try another browser or computer to see if they appear there. It may be something with your computer not loading correctly. If it is doing the same thing there, please let us know and we can try and refresh it on our end.

You have got the "Backups.backupdb" folder in the root level of your hard drive. This is the folder used by Time Machine to save backups to, and the OS X Mavericks installer thought that your hard drive is being used to store Time Machine backups
To fix this, open a Finder window, select the Go menu (on the menu bar) > Go to Folder, and type:
Then, delete "Backups.backupdb" and empty the Trash. Finally, open the Mavericks installer from the Applications folder and follow the steps

Backup Assistant will not accept my PIN

Backup Assistant will not sync from the phone. It keeps saying the PIN is invalid, even though it is the PIN that it sends when asked.
How do I get the PIN to with?

Backup Assistant is not populating the data to the site

I have 200+ contacts in my phone that were transfered by the Verizon store. They also set up the backup assistant for me. When I sync the contacts to the backup assistant from the device I get a message on the device that says succeded and a time and date which are current. Then I go to my computer login to the backup site and no contacts show up. When I click in the messages tab the messages are there. I have reset the phone synced about 100 times and still no contacts. Any ideas?

If your contacts are saved as Google contacts, they WILL NOT backup to Verizon's Backup Assistant.
If the word Google is under the Link box (which is an option to allow linking to other contacts), the contact is saved as a Google contact. You can't change it after it is saved the first time.
From your post above, it sounds like your contacts were uploaded to your Google account and synced to your phone.
Google contacts are a better way to go IMHO.

Photo Albums not loading

Hello - My website - domain name through Godaddy, hosted by Mac - does not load the photo albums. It loads the page but not the albums. According to my sister, she can see the albums but the pictures stay thumbnails. I've read much about what is written on this issue but haven't read a solution. www.curioustidbits.com is the website - Ignore the movie page is not ready to go. Can someone help? Thank you. Tami

Your SanBlasIslands album is AWOL (regardless browsers), everything is there but streamloader could not get to it:

Backup Assistant Will Not upload contacts

I have been unsuccessful uploading my phonebook contacts from my Samsung Galaxy to my online account. The Samsung app indicates "successful completion". When I look at my contacts online, there are zero contacts. What steps should I follow to troubleshoot?

The best advise I have for you on this is to save all of your contacts to google as Google Contacts if you want something that will automatically back up your contacts real time as in right when you add it to your phone, and if you want it to add ALL contacts and to add them accurately.
If you do not want to add your contacts automatically, immediately, and accurately, then Backup Assistant is a good choice for this. I have never been able to get BA to work accurately or consistently since it came out many years ago

VZW Backup Assistant will only back up contacts saved as phone contacts. It will NOT backup contacts saved as Google or Facebook.

Backup assistant contacts not showing up online

Hello,
I am using backup assistant for the first time so that I can import my contacts to my new 4G device. I've run the application from my blackberry, but when I sign on on-line, the website is showing my contact list as empty. However, my backup assistant PIN is being correctly captured, so I know that I am being recognized.
I've tried deleting and re-installing backup assistant on the blackberry and running again. No luck. Any suggestions? Is there some sort of lag time for when the contacts will show up online?
Just in case the question comes up, I am the only user on my wireless plan.

New 4G phone is always a great thing. Not being able to backup your contacts must be frustrating; however, I'm sure we can find a way to backup and transfer your contacts to your new device.
First we must make sure that your Blackberry device is compatible with Backup Assistant. The following BlackBerry devices are not compatible with Backup Assistant:

Additionally, with a 4G device you will most like create (if you don't already have one) a Gmail account. If you have not created one I recommend to create a Gmail account at http://goo.gl/2Ucuc and then sync your Blackberry with your Gmail account using the Google Sync App and your contacts will be saved online. You can get the Google Sync App at http://www.google.com/mobile/sync/
Then simply activate your 4G device and enter your Gmail account credentials and your contacts will transfer automatically to your new phone.

Backup Assistant Contacts Not Appearing Online

Hello, I've searched for similar problems with no luck. I've installed backup assistant in my old LG VX8575 to get the contacts off so I can download them to my new phone. Backup Assistant on the phone says it's backed up 292 contacts and that I can see and edit them online. But online when I access my account at verizonwireless.com/backupassistant, which becomes wbillpay.verizonwireless.com/vzw/nos/ba_nab/overview_def.jsp, the apparently new portal for backup assistant plus, my contacts list is empty. The phone numbers are identical. What can I do now to get the contacts to show up online so I can activate my new phone and download them? Thanks!

Hmm, now they ARE there, over half an hour later. Wonder if they ought to say wait a while and then they'll show in the instructions... Thanks anyway, all!

Smart Album Not Loading Images

I have not seen a discussion (nor Apple support document) that answers my newest Aperture 3 dilemma. First of all, let me say that I am not new to Aperture. I've been using the program since Aperture 2 was introduced. I have successfully used Smart Albums in the past so I'm familiar with the function.
I take photos for my son's sports teams. We give a 16x20 framed action shot to the Seniors as a grad gift. I use the jersey number to keyword every image with a senior player. I then create a Smart Album (under the Project in which the images are located) for each senior and select their Keyword (jersey #) as my sort setting... I also select "All" that "Match".
This usually works like a charm. This sorting is important because I'll have all of "John's" images in one folder and then I export the best ones to a folder on my photo website for the parents/players to view and select their favorite for the enlargement.
The Smart Albums were working fine a few weeks ago but now the images are not getting loaded into them. Some albums are empty... some have only a dozen photos when I know I have 300+. I have double-checked the metadata and the keywords are still there. I have even deleted the Keyword and retyped it and that image still does not show in the Smart Album. I have double-checked my settings in the album's "Smart Settings" window and all appears correct and normal. These Smart Albums are located under my project so the photos are "there" to find.
I started experimenting and adding the kid's initials as another keyword, then adding that as a sort preference... the altered ones seem to be showing up (or, at least I have more images than before). So, somehow my original keyword entries are not being recognized. I am in the process of "Updating Previews" hoping that somehow this will "refresh" or "restore" the recognition of the Keywords. Would repairing Aperture permissions or database help?
I have over 7,000 images in this season's project library (almost 70,000 collective images). I have a tight deadline and cannot afford the time to review every image and either add a new keyword or drag the image to a new album or folder. I really need the Smart Albums to work with the original Keywords.
My Mac Store (for "one to one" assistance) is over an hour away... does anyone have a suggestion that I can try right away?

Thank you for your ideas. The "Source" library is correct but I have also experimented by creating a new Smart Album outside the project using my entire Library as the Source... it didn't make a difference.
I feel confident that I have set up the Smart Folder correctly. I believe this is a glitch in my software because I have many Smart Albums set up in various projects and I just discovered that none of them are working properly. I have a Smart Album that contained over 1000 "Fox" images... it's now empty. I have an "Elk/Deer" Smart Album that now only has 20 images (instead of hundreds). I'm not sure where the corruption happened but I know it was recent. The way the program is picking and choosing the images to include/exclude in a Smart Album has no rhyme or reason.
I don't know if restoring my library from the back-up will make a difference or if my back-up (updated recently) is also corrupted.
I can tell you this for sure: When you have over 70,000 sorted throughout your system... the prospect of starting over is daunting.
If anyone else has experienced this, please share the resolution. In the meantime, I think I'll take the computer to a Mac one to one or the Genius Bar and see if they can think of a fix.

Painting Assistant will not load

I have been trying to install the Painting Assistant by Russell Brown. I download the file with no problem. The Adobe Extension Manager for CS5 will not install. It keeps stating I do not have appropriate permissions. I followed the PDF instructions to manually install but my CS5 Photoshop does not show the extension.
Any suggestions on how to install this extension?
I have a new (less than 1 yr old) HP desktop computer running Window 7 Home Premium. Just for information, I am also have a problem with Window Live Photo Gallery not recognizing my "Pictures" folders path. The Windows Live Soltuion Center is trying to find the problem.

Run the extension manager as an administrator by right clicking on the extension manager shortcut and choosing Run As Administrator.
If you have a 64 bit version of windows 7 there should be two versions of cs5, 64 bit and 32 bit so maybe your not running the version you did the manual install into.
Also under the photoshop preferences plug-ins make sure you have Load Extension Panels checked.
Not sure about the photo gallery problem.

Photo Albums not loading within iWeb

Hi all
I have put together a simple website, with a couple of photo pages and a page containing six photo albums. I've published the website and all is great.
However, now I wanted to change some photos of the photo albums (in the photo albums page), but the photo albums pages within iWeb all show up blank (while the other, simpler photo pages load up fine).
Any ideas, please? The only solution I've come up with so far is to REDO the entire photo albums page, texts and all, but that's a real pain!
Please help!!

Some album not loaded in itunes match

I have uploaded my library in itunes match but it appears that some albums are missing. Any ideas?

I think the first thing you should check is the metadata of the album. The most common reason things don't show up where one might anticipate is because of the metadata. In particular make sure the Artist and Album Artist are info are entered correctly. Then use Search in the Music app to find the album. It is there, but for some reason it is not showing up in the place you expect it to be.
While in Music app, tap Albums, scroll to the top and tap in the search field, and type the name of the album. Try this again in the Artists view if necessary.

HP Printer Assistant is not working ...keeps loading...

Hello, I have purchased a HP Officejet Pro 6830 All in One printer and have installed the software from the CD, installed updates and already used the HP Docter software but the Printer Assistant does not load. It keeps on with a blank screen, with the message that the Assistant is loading and Default Text message (see screenshot) it is just that, My system is Win 7 professional and compuer is Asus. The printer and scanner are working but the Printer Assistant software does not work. My previous printer was also an all in one from HP and it had HP solution Center to manage the printer and scanning process but reading the forum I understand that is not a solution for this problem.

Export in backup assistant not working

My Verizon Export function for contacts in backup assistant is not functioning. It prompts to pick backup export action, e.g.to computer, gmail, etc. and it is supposed to give compatible format, e.g., CSV. Ony the pick format yourself work, but there is no continue button, only a close button for the dialog window. It does not work for anything.
